Este ha sido nuestro restaurante de lácteos kosher favorito en Londres. Tomamos el viaje subterráneo durante 40 minutos para llegar hasta allí y encontramos el restaurante cerrado. Le preguntamos a alguien en una tienda de al lado y nos dijeron que habían salido del negocio hace aproximadamente un mes. Habíamos estado viniendo a este restaurante en la ubicación anterior durante muchos años.

lively, happy, kind waitresses who are very accommodating service is very good and food comes quickly. alway always busy very clean would recommend, especially if you have young kids

The manager smoked in his office which filterd into the restaurant putting me off from ordering anything more. The egg fried rice was on the salty side. You know what? Don't waste your time. Eat at home.

We ate there after a very bad experience the night before in another restaurant so it was a pleasure to eat a good pasta a nice greek salad and an excellent pizza.

I came here for the first time with my family and was quickly seated which was nice however our table was reserved for 8:30pm but we would of eaten with plenty of time to spare and we weren't felt that our meal was in any means rushed. I had the spaghetti with tomato sauce and the tomato sauce is usually very heavy but it was perfect and extremely delicious, my mum had the kids goujons and chips which was a big portion and my dad had the mushroom and cheese toast with the side salad which he really enjoyed. I made our lovely waitress know about my food allergies before we ordered and said there will be no issues at all, our drinks came fast and within 10 mins our mains arrived which was wonderful.

Disfrutamos de una noche aquí hace 8 semanas. La comida era de un estándar muy alto y bastante satisfactorio. El servicio es bueno y el ambiente del lugar excelente. Un poco más caro que otros lugares pero un precio que vale la pena pagar si quieres algo un poco más elegante. La comida que disfrutamos para celebrar el cumpleaños de mi esposa fue buena. Volveremos por más tiempo.

Fried fish was far too small and lacked any wow factor. One doesn't want to have to make up for what was missing in the mains. Portion of chips are also too small. Try Kanteen instead.

Tomó dos clientes judío para el almuerzo. Menú era razonable, uno tenía rollitos de primavera, sopa de cebolla, 2 todos estaban bien, sin ser excepcional.

Esta fue nuestra segunda visita y no nos decepcionó. Los niños eligieron pizzas, mi esposa una ensalada y yo elegí lubina escalfada con una ensalada fresca y un plato de patatas fritas. La comida era muy sabrosa y el servicio es razonable. Menú de precios de rango medio pero buena relación calidad-precio. Consideraríamos visitar nuevamente si alguna vez volvemos a esta parte de Londres.

Mashed potato side dish is far too small. That means it costs £7 just to have a normal portion. Other restaurants charge half that for twice the portion size of isola.

We had family Sunday lunch . Kids were very happy with their pizzas & pastas. The restaurant was packed so booking is recommended. It was very noisy. Service was efficient.The main fish courses are unimpressive. This is not a place I would return to willingly.

Mi novia y yo tenía algo que hacer en Golders Green, y quería tener una buena cena juntos y este lugar parecía bastante decente! Cuando entramos en el restaurante tuvimos que esperar para las camareras para venir y asientos para nosotros porque todos ellos estaban en la parte de atrás en sus teléfonos! Después de que finalmente nos dieron una mesa, una de las camareras se acercó a nosotros para tomar nuestro pedido, sin saludar, o una sonrisa, me sentí bastante incómodo! Nos dieron una comida a tiempo, pero mi novia quería conseguir algo de pan para su sopa, estábamos esperando como 2 minutos antes de ella decidió ir y pedir, porque todas las camareras estábamos sentados en la parte trasera del restaurante, y estamos en sus teléfonos, ni siquiera mirando! Qué estaban haciendo realmente raro! Estábamos sentados en una mesa junto a la ventana y las camareras se acercó a nuestra mesa como 5 veces sólo para mirar la ventana, ignora por nosotros, o el hecho de que terminamos nuestra comida, y ya las placas apiladas para ellos! He intentado pedir la factura, y la señora era simplemente mirando por la ventana sin decir una nada, o incluso mirando a mí! Regresó con la factura en unos 4 minutos, y luego cuando pagamos, obviamente sin cargo por servicio, me estaban hablando un idioma extranjero, echo a reír, y nos miraban! También las camareras que tomó nuestro pago estaba tomando mi tarjeta, como 3 veces detrás del mostrador portavoz, parecía extraño, era mi preocupacion, no entiendo por qué ella hizo eso!

Went there 2 nights in a row. Fast service, the food was excellent. Ordered the onion soup which was brilliant . the penne and cream souce which was good and on the second night ordered some thai noodles stir which was fantastic.

Restaurante muy popular en la calle principal que sirve una mezcla de platos europeos e israelíes. Servicio rápido con buenas anfitrionas.

No probamos los platos orientales, así que puede ser nuestro error. Plato de pasta era demasiado hecha, con dos tipos diferentes de pasta, uno muy, muy pasada (penne lisce, posiblemente recalentados del otro día) y el otro, penne rigate, como olvidado en el agua hirviendo. Pizza estaba simplemente bien, placa de pescado era bueno pero la ensalada mezcla era 98% de pepino y cebolla de 2%. . .

Fuimos como parte de un grupo grande para una fiesta. La comida era más adecuado para los niños. Las verduras asadas Mediterráneo eran una pasada desordenadas. Los peces fueron goujons hard rock e incluso las patatas fritas eran poco atractiva. Me llegó tarde y no copa de vino. Al final la camarera me trajo una copa de champán para vino tinto. Servicio lento sólo lo hizo peor. Intentando encontrar el merengue en el desastre de Eton era como lavar oro. Quizás el menú normal es mejor, pero no volver a encontrarla.

Tasty food and generous portions. The menu is varied and offers a mix of cuisines. It's not fine dining but it's good food for a local restaurant and good for families.

Had a family meal here, and was told, despite being a kosher restaurant, that the food was good. Let's start with the service: waitress with poor English, confused, slow. Ambience: forget it. Noise level: had to shout to be heard Food: Egg rolls dripped grease, smelled like burnt oil. Couldn't eat it. I had the fish and chips, tasted like cafeteria food. Supposed to be Haddock, I have my doubts. Actual fiish was almost non-existent, 80% of the "fish" was heavy batter burnt into a thick hard dark brown crust. Value for money: LOL, average main was 25 pounds sterling. Entree 8.There are many kosher restaurants in the area. Give this one a miss.

Very reasonably priced breakfast menu, served until 12 noon. Small choice, but excellent value. Staff very pleasant, but it did not occur to them to switch on the air conditioning until i asked! Have previously been for a birthday brunch and we all chose from the same menu. All guests very happy with their choice.Have also been in the evening. Pleasant experience, but certainly not "fine dining".

Oh wow!!! A good friend shared his favourite kosher dairy restaurant with us; it's a superlative discovery - freshly prepared delicious food in extremely generous portions; vast variety (but reserve "Mozart" early - we were too late!) and variations very obligingly arranged ... such a fabulous, friendly atmosphere; it's like a vast family gathering and they cater foor parties of all sizes as well as providing "entertainment" singing happy Birthday - with indoor sparklers - to the delight of all patrons!! You can indulge a gargantuan feast ... or sup a dreamy bowl of (onion soup with chees and assorted croutons!) You just gotta go ... and go again and again!!!

Attractive decor and a varied menu led us into a very positive dining experience. I stuck with fish and chips which was very good. One family member chose pizza whilst my wife chose the pad Thai which she found to be very good. Not the cheapest kosher/ dairy restaurant in the area but a very positive experience.

This kosher dairy restaurant has a terrific selection of food on the menu, enough to please everyone. My wife and I shared a salad with chopped lettuce, tomatoes, peppers and it was very well prepared with a tasty salad dressing. I ordered the grilled sea bass which was wonderful. It came with grilled mushrooms and other vegetables and was accompanied with a choice of side dishes- I chose the white rice which was good. My wife ordered the pasta pomodoro. It was good but the sauce was a little too sweet for her. The size of the portions is good. The waitresses were very helpful and pleasant.There is so much from which to choose- Thai food, sandwiches, salads, pasta, fish and more. The desserts looked great but we were too full to try them.

My shakshuka was a small and shallow portion of red sauce (but 3 eggs,,,,.,., who eats 3 eggs in one meal??) in a metal iron cast pan, which gave it an after taste of metal, with it came a little tahini flavoured water and an old chopped salad, as it was partly mushy.Stupidly, I asked for extras: Aubergine £1.50 for 4 cubes, and £1.50 for invisible Feta cheese. The best part was the brown bread.I paid for this pleasure..... £15!!!!!My wife had tasteless couscous and ultra salty vegetable soup!!!!!If I have to eat kosher, then its only Aviv or Sammi'sVery disappointing.,.Goodbye Isola BellaNEVER AGAIN!!!

This is one of my favourite restaurants, the food is really good, very professional, although it is quite expensive. The cakes are so delicious!!

We had a lunch special: fish and chips with a soup and salad. Servings were very generous. We couldn't eat the salad because we were too full from the rest of the excellent food. A pity; it was the "healthy" part and looked good!Good table service and reasonable price for kosher food.

We started off with delicious onion soups and for mains we had a ravioli and a quinoa salad. Both delicious. Place is on the main drag in Golders Green, dairy and Kosher. Great combination.

A great place for Vegetarian, pescetarian and vegan eaters. Great staff, warm and friendly. Excellent choice of Kosher dairy/ non meaty dishes. Always busy. For those complaining about the price, perhaps you're content with the cheaper imitations dotted around locally. Highly recommended by the locals and always a pleasure to visit.

The food is an interesting mix of Israeli italian and Thai for some reason. The food is mostly ok. I tried the onion soup and was way too salty. The Pizzas are fine and it is a good place to take a varied family gathering as the options are so varied. The service is friendly and courteous and all dishes were served promptly and correctly.

My husband and I ordered pastas, I had the gnocchi and he had the pesto. Mine was inedible, I had to return it to the kitchen and I've never done that before. My husband's was very average - I make a better pesto. We later found out the locals avoid this place. Highly disappointing, especially when you're paying $30 Australian for a crappy pasta. Regretted not going to Novellino down the road instead.

The lunch I just had at Isola Bella was excellent. The standard of food and service was high. There were 8 of us together, and all were happy.

That was my second time at Isola Bella, and they didn't disappoint.The service is nice and the menu have a broad selection of dishes (which could be a turn off if the food wasn't that good) and we tried the Puta Nesca and it was tasteful, they use tuna instead of anchovy for some reason but was acceptable and quite good.They have several Israeli dishes and brands of beer, which honestly I could drop as a foreigner that isn't into trying out things that I get at home, but I get it that locals (Golders Green, biggest jewish community in London) would find that attractive.

This is my 4th time there and this is my favorite resturant in london .This time i was eating :onion soup , tariaki salmon fish and belgium waffer.All of them were very good and tasti.This was part of lunch deal thats including a cold and hot drink.The price is 25 pound that it's not cheap but worth the price.Wait for the next time.

When I want to treat my wife I'm taking her to Isola Bella, She is enjoying it so much, The atmosphere is good the service is good and the best part is the delicious food, There is a large choice of food so she never gets bored of going there as she can always choose something different.

Was there for the first night of Sheva Brachot following my friends wedding. We ate in a semi-private room upstairs. The food was delicious and the service was excellent!

This Kosher restaurant is milky and vegetarian - hence my carnivorous desire was unrequited!Salads and some Thai stuff appeared on the menu and alongside toasties that were inordinately expensive: £12 for a toasted cheese sandwich with some rabbit food on the side is outrageous and reminded one of a hasty late night snack in front of the telly! But it was not unpleasant, but simply very ordinary with extraordinary prices.Coffee was, as expected, awful - having already had an outstanding flat white at Ginger and Black!Service was businesslike - with the obligatory "enjoy" proffered as the waitress turned away and disappeared! Really annoying!Isola Moderato indeed!

Visited for lunch - restaurant was busy but not packed. Our mains were tasty but we were not all served together. My husband had to return his dessert as it had been sitting for so long on the bar that his waffle was cold. The coffees never turned up! We were with good friends who we had not seen for ages so the conversation compensated.

Went for birthday celebration. Had booked a table, but kept waiting to be seated. Kitchen forgot my starter and my wife's fish main course, which finally arrived after others in the party had finished. Her meal was raw and inedible. Ruined the evening. Would not recommend.

We went to Isola Bella one Sunday night in July. The restaurant was very busy and quite noisy but fortunately we had a table at the back that was a bit quieter. There is quite a wide choice of milky dishes on the menu - Thai, pasta, fish and salads. The service was surprisingly quick, efficient and friendly. The food was good quality except that my Sea bass came with roast vegetables that were stone cold. When I complained I was told that there were meant to be like that. The meal wasn't too expensive - not much different to non-kosher restaurants in London serving the same type of food.

This cafe was much larger than we had anticipated and perhaps that is why the staff seemed so rushed off their feet and a bit testy. The servers were polite but nothing beyond that, no warmth. My husband and I chose one Thai main dish and one Italian entree. First we shared the Thai eggrolls. They were so superb that we had wished that we had ordered one portion each. When our main dishes arrived we were then quite content that we had room for such ample portions. The fettuccini was cooked to perfection. We had never had such a beautifully seasoned creamy sauce. I had never tasted Pat Thai before but nevertheless I loved it! My husband who has eaten it several times said this was the best version he has ever had. Feeling quite satiated after this delicious meal we really should not have had dessert. We certainly were not hungry but staring at us was this refrigerated display of gorgeous cakes, etc. so how could we resist?! We were, however, quite disciplined and chose to share a slice* of creamy chocolate cheesecake. *(huge and worth every calorie!) So, I think that I have just about said it all. Oops, almost forgot, yes, we WILL BE back... I just saw a pizza go by and I MUST try it next time.

This centrally located restaurant near the Golders Green Underground Station offers Great Business Lunch Specials and service is quite fast.

Have been on quite a few occasions for lunch as the size of the restaurant is good for family gatherings. There is an extensive dairy menu and the food has only disappointed on one occasion when the chef got a bit "salt happy". The portions are huge and whilst the lunch menu is a good deal, the regular menu is quite expensive.The staff are pleasant but can be a little slow and sometimes it is difficult to attract their attention but all in all would recommend. Would suggest to book ahead if you are in a big party or going on a Sunday.

Waitresses are absolutely lousy , no idea what means customer service. Food is overpriced but tasty. Wouldn't go again

We went to this café a number of times in the 3 weeks we were in London, and loved it every time! Delicious menu to choose from, and the waitresses were friendly and happy to recommend dishes for us.

This review is not to complain about the food which was actually fine. More that we were sat at the front by a large fuse box which had a cold draft coming through blowing on to our backs which was not pleasant. The manageress who was clearly not interested from the outset, as she didn't want to move us said she would sort it out. No one came to do so and we left the restaurant cold and frustrated. We mentioned at the end and an insincere Sorry showed that she didn't care really.We will not recommend or return

This restaurant has a great choice of food, tasty and very well presented. But really very expensive. Decor is a little institutional, and service is not too bad.

I have read most of the reviews posted by others that have been unfortunate enough to visit this place situated in the heart of Golders Green high street. Not sure why it is as busy as it is, maybe its because there is limited choice in the area, but for the prices charged and the average service provided, I would have expected far far better. Not sure how long this one will stay around however I am pretty certain that if people are looking for first class service and quality that there are about 5 or 6 other places within close proximity that are much better than this place. I certainly won´t be back!

visited this restaurant last night to celebrate a family birthday. We arrived just before 8 and it was very quiet. It soon filled up, and as commented on by others, the noise level was lively and it had quite a buzzy atmosphere.We were a table of 12, a reasonable amount, but there were many other bigger family tables around the restaurant. It did take the staff 25minutes to offer us drinks, which I think was a bit lax, considering there weren't many people in at that time! However, once the food orders were made, from the extremely extensive menu, the service was relatively prompt.The menu itself is quite an eclectic mix of fish and milk dishes, from pizza to pad Thai, cheese skewers to smoked salmon and avocado salad. If you haven't seen the menu before arriving, it may take a while to decide. We had 12 mains, ranging from Thai dishes to the enormous salads that are on offer. My wife had a pizza and others had fish and chips. Each portion was extremely generous and there was easily more than enough food. My noodle dish with salmon was tasty, but nothing to write home about (or cheap at £16!). My wife's pizza was ok, others food looked good, but wouldn't say that it was worth the money.A few people, that still had room, went for dessert. They all seemed satisfied, however once again, the cost of some of these was extortionate. The vanilla strawberry, which my sisters ordered, cost £7. It was a sundae glass, a handful of cut strawberries, some whipped cream (from a can) and some strawberry flavoured ice cream syrup. Definitely not worth the money.In summary, a decent meal in lively surroundings, but on the expensive side for what you actually get. We won't be rushing back in a hurry.

We ate at the Golder's Green location and the food and service were great. We were seated right away even though we did not have reservations. We did get funny looks when we walked in without reservations though. I ordered a Thai dish and my husband ordered sea bass. We also split a pizza. The food came quickly. The portions were generous and everything was very tasty. We also got a dessert because it's not right to walk out of a dairy restaurant without a proper dairy dessert. It was also delicious. We live in the tri-state area in the US and have many kosher restaurants to compare to. This was definitely one of the best restaurants we have eaten at. I wish we had this restaurant in the US. I highly recommend it!

I frequently dine at Isola Bella sometimes with friends and sometimes family. The food is delicious and always plentiful. Beautifully presented and very pleasing to the eye and palate. Try it out you won't be disappointed!!

The food was good - a varied selection of different milk and Thai products. However, the noise level was high, and our meal was constantly interrupted by "Happy Birthday" music played very loudly for different diners. A bit over the top for me!

Went to meet 8 friends for a kosher meal out. Seven of us all had wonderful meals. Only one person was not happy with two courses they had. I had Onion Soup to start and that was served very hot and tasted authentically French, served with croutons and melted cheese. Then I had the Dennis fish fillets, I wanted a change from sea bass. Well it was gorgeous. Served with too much salad and loads of chips. I just had enough room for the Himalayan dessert, which was again very yummy. Everyone else had a variety of two or three courses. Some had pizza and they were all very impressed with each type they ordered. Service was fine throughout our evening. My only contention is that I did not like the ‘one’ disabled loo shared by both male and female clients and I also thought the menu was overpriced. For the price, there should have been tablecloths and material napkins. Other than those two cons, our meal was enjoyed by all, experiencing very tasty food except one, who said there was no taste in either course, but they wondered if they were coming down with a cold, which affects taste buds.

Disappointed they did not have an anniversary tape in Golders Green .Atmosphere good but extremely noisy from other tables for a Sunday night.Kosher food plentiful but too much to eat in one sitting. If you have main course you do not need a starter. My husband had the waffle and was most surprised to have a choice to three different flavours. If I was out anywhere else kosher I would have only got one scoop. Carry on the good work. My husband liked going to Isola Bella when it is quieter and the atmosphere is much nicer . He is very partial to Tomato soup and spaghetti. My wife ordered me a Thai dish and we shared it , my husband thought the portion was too much but that is not a complaint more an observation. Will definitely coming back again in the near future.

This is a Kosher dairy restaurant in Golders Green. The restaurant is nicely laid out, good atmosphere. The food is very good. The prices are expensive and although the service was quick, I found the waitresses to be somewhat mean. I asked to change a desert selection but she said it was too late, the ice cream was already in the dish (so what?). The 5 pound shot of Johnny Walker red which I ordered was marginal, I think they should have been more generous-a whole bottle of JW Red costs maybe 15 pounds. At any rate this is a good restaurant which I recommend.

I ate a late lunch in a party of 4 people.We had the 'silver' menu, a set meal including a starter, a main course , a dessert and a drink, all for £12 plus service.We all had the onion soup and pasta, all ample in size and very nicely cooked an tasty. The meal was enjoyable.Well done.

The set menu meal was huge. No one could eat dessert. They allowed us to order lattes instead. The fish & chips were very good. Staff were very nice. Prices were reasonable. Food was served promptly There is only one washroom, which is a pity because the restaurant is so big.

Normally I would rave about Isola Bella, but my most recent trip proved to be disastrous.I ordered my food and specified it must be gluten free. To cut a long story short I was promised the food was gluten free only to find out 3 minutes after I starting eating it that it was not.I spent the next few days suffering enormously as a result of their error.Absolutely devastated. Wont be returning or recommending any time soon!

Refreshing to find an innovative, unpretentious restaurant serving interesting and great quality food at a reasonable price and with unbeatable professional service.

over the last three years I have been often to your restaurant, and really enjoy your food, especially your salads and your desserts- amazing stuff.However i really do think that your menu needs a change, every restaurant after a couple of years under goes a revamp of the menu. YEs you do the same things well but it does get tiresome. i am talking in the name of many friends and family.You have nice service, a good venue and some great chefs, so come give us something exciting and new.Good luck on your tasting and waiting to try your new concoctions .

We have been to this restaurant before. It is on a street with a number of alternative choices in restaurants and bakeries, mostly kosher. This restaurant has a very pleasant decor, seating is roomy. It is mostly a fish restaurant and has Thai food as well. Portions are reasonable, service is prompt. Prices are reasonable. Any time we have had fish there it has been well done and tasty.

This restaurant offers a wide range of choices on the menu, including Thai food. The portion sizes are very generous. The desserts are the best!!!!!!

An oasis of peace & quiet and delicious food amongst the hubbub of shopping at Westfield West London.

I went to this restaurant as a family get together in November. Always lovely food and great ambience. I particularly enjoy the Thai noodles that they offer.In addition, the range of cakes available for desert is fantastic and the ones I've tasted look and taste divine. Also, a popular choice when I go out with my husband. Definitely worth a visit when you come to London!

My husband and I together with another couple ate in this very popular kosher fish restaurant. It was early Sunday evening and the restaurant was crowded with families several boasting three generations. The food was delicious, our soups came quickly and were piping hot. We all had different main courses, all of which were very tasty, nicely prepared. The service was quick, and I would certainly recommend it. It is however rather noisy as the tables are very crowded together but the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

Isola Bella in Golders Green is big, brash and noisy and it keeps going late into the evenings at weekends. The food is good, the menu extensive and the prices average for this sort of restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised and we loved the sheer energy of the place, which is full of young, happy folk. Downside? - the parking...or lack of it. When you do find a space, be sure to check parking zones and exclusions, as even late on a Saturday night the wardens are out to get you. And they wonder why British High Streets are dying!

I visited Isola bella recently with my mother and son. I could easily tell that the staff is not trained or/and experienced. I was not very impressed to be honest. I expected to find a warmer athmosphere becaue a lot of Jewish friends had recommended Isola Bella to me. Food is very nice, filling and I was very happy about the portions and quality. However, I have to say that the water jar I was given was quite old and not polished to my standards. Perhaps I expected more from a restaurant in Golders Green. I had to chase the waitresses to have their attention because they never look around to the point that I had to get up and ask them to give some chilli sauce. For what I have paid I expected a better customer service. I don't think I will go back. I was ignored and felt as if there was nobody attending me. Food is very nice though but I can have the same food elsewhere and a better customer service.

Top 'Milky-Style' restaurant. Great Service, Great Portions & Great Food! They do great fish and have a whole Thai menu. Their desserts are to die for!!!! Prices arn't cheap though. But I'd still say it was good value for money!!!!!!!!

Il cibo e' buono le porzioni spesso sono generose e si pagano. Consiglio i dessert molto buoni e spesso accompagnati da tanto gelato e cioccolata. La pizza discreta. Ambiente puo' essere in alcune occasioni rumoroso e il servizio discreto da sconsigliare andarci quando e' troppo pieno

We came here for Sunday dinner, which made it a busy time for this dairy Kosher restaurant. The menu was extensive enough, but the prices were high for what was offered. It took them a long time to even get us the menu, longer to bring us our food, and it seemed like forever to bring us water (the drinks came quickly). One of our party did not like the way her dish was prepared and its taste. As with the rest of the meal, it took a long time to get anyone to acknowledge us, remove the dish, and then to finally bring us the menu. It took so long for this process to occur, that this person finally decided that she would get something else to eat on the street. Finally it took another long wait to bring us the check. To top it off, the gratuity which should be optional was automatically added to our bill. Finally it was a hot evening and the air conditioning was rarely on (it was about 80 degrees in there). We will not return.

Good food, lovely decor but very expensive. Big portions and lovely place for lunch with friends. Huge menu, will take a while to decide what you want as everything is lovely.

In the past, I ate fairly often at the Hendon branch of Isola Bella and always enjoyed it. During my last visit to London, I tried out the Westfield branch. It is in an out of the way corner in the huge Westfield complex so the atmosphere is quiet. The menu has a wide range of options and everything that we ordered was delicious.

Simple food served with love, this is a great place to visit an oasis of tranquility a refuge from a busy shopping spree. Great choice of simple dishes made to high standard, relaxed family atmosphere superb service which is a great reflection on the management and staff a vist to Westfield is not complete without taking in this cafe atmosphere....

My husband and I visited the Westfield branch of this restaurant on a groupon deal so we were a bit apprehensive as to the quality of the food that would be on offer. However we need not have worried as the food was of a very high standard. For starters I opted for the mushroom soup and my husband for the vegetable soup both of which were very tasty. For our mains we both ordered seabass which was cooked very well and absolutely delicious. Service was very good and staff not too intrusive while we were eating. The prices are also very reasonable and the restaurant was very full even on a weekday when we visited which goes to show that it is a very popular restaurant. We intend to visit this restaurant again as we enjoyed the food and atmosphere so much.

Large and bustling kosher dairy restaurant in Golders Green, featuring a dual menu offering a large selection of Italian and Thai-inspired dishes. We ate here on a weekday evening and the place was hopping, so it is obviously a popular establishment.We only ate here once, so my review is based on a limited menu sampling, but here goes:The Italian fare seemed light and fresh. I had a thin-crust buffalo mozarela pizza which was fresh and tasty. My companion's generous Thai-inspired dish was bursting with fresh vegetables, but was somewhat under-seasoned. [This could be a regional preferance -- We found much of London fare to be underseasoned, so perhaps locals find the food here better than we did.] Still, the dishes were attractively presented and, despite the number of full tables, the service was efficient and polite.A decent choice for dairy/parve dishes in Golders Green. Based on what we ordered, I'd come here again more for the dairy menu than for the Thai dishes.

My family went to the restaurant in the Westfield Mall, and had an excellent meal. Service was very prompt, food generally very good. The fish and chips were great, and the onion soup was the best I've had in a while. it's a short Tube ride from there to the theater district (leave yourself a 30-40 mins to be safe).

I was surprised at how good the food was at this restaurant. I'd previously been to Novellino (now thankfully put out of its misery), so my expectations of milky kosher restaurants wasn't particularly high. The menu is a mix of fish, pasta and oriental. I went for the salmon in a teriyaki-type sauce with noodles and vegetables and, somewhat unexpectedly, it was delicious! They also got our order completely correct (something which cannot be taken for granted on Golders Green Road!) The ambience wasn't particularly good - the tables are very close together and there seemed to be a birthday cake (together with a naff cd blasting away at full volume) every fifteen minutes. However the staff were good. The restaurant is the sister of the White House (a branch is opposite), which is interesting as I found the service much better here than in their other establishments. The price wasn't too bad at all. Anyway, definitely worth a repeat visit.

Isola Bella 111-113 Golders Green Road NW11 8HR,This reaaurant has moved from Brent Street in Hendon to a new site in Golders Green.It is a bright busy and clean place. The menu is unchanged with Italian, Thai nad Israeli dishes.I had the Thai noodle suop. This is a large bowl of soup, noodles and vegetables.It's a meal in itself and very tasty.

Their site says "Italian, Thai and healthy dishes ". We ate a late breakfast there. The omlettes were delicious and not oily, salad wasinteresting and had a wonderful sweet dressing, bread was freshly-baked, crisp outside and soft inside. They made sure my wife's omlette was not contaminated by gluten, knew which items included gluten. Cappucino tasted like it did in Rome. Full breakfast cost around 10 pounds including the service charge which is very reasonable in London. (A friend told us that if they include a service charge, there is no need to tip.)

Had a nice Thai noodle dish, spicy, vegetarian, and gluten free. I placed my order and the food arrived quickly. However, after that, no attention from the wait staff. I practically had to tackle someone to get the check to pay. For a restaurant in a high end shopping center such as the Westfield, I found this almost unacceptable. Come here for the food, not the service.
