Ordered on Deliveroo and the food is fresh and well-presented! I’d recommend the Philadelphia maki. The salmon don is fresh (though thinly sliced, see photo), and the Tteobokki + fish cake is soft and chewy (portion a bit small, guess it’s more of an appetizer/ snack).

Ordered sushi set for delivery. Sushi was great, delivery was fast and prices are very reasonable. I’ll def order again.

Lovely food, relaxing atmosphere and spotless clean place. Probably the best Sushi place in North London. Highlights were tempura, bibimbap and maki rolls.

We tried the salmon bento box and chicken ramen, and both were delicious and fresh. We would definitely return if given the opportunity. Highly recommended!

Great food at Sushi Wa. Rainbow roll and Alaskan roll were great. Chicken satay was great. Sweet potato tempura was great and enjoyed by all. The chicken Udon could have been more flavourful. Staff was kind and accommodating. We got there at 6pm and it was before the crowd started picking up so it was great timing for a big party of 13. Service was quick!

We love this place. A wonderful, local & independent Japanese/Korean resturant with a superb range of meat/veggie/vegan dishes with really affordable prices. Service is great & staff are super friendly. The Bibimbab is epic, always my favorite.

I go to Whittington hospital Wed and Thur to work. I found this hidden germ a few month ago, I am now regular here. I love the food, absolutely lovely. I recommend spicey squid bento, my favourite. If you like spicey Korean, it will satisfy you. I also like sashimi bento box as well. Last Wed, I had beef bibimbap which was served on a hot stone pot, it was fantastic! The chef knew me by then and gave me some pieces of Sashimi as a compliment. You don't get this kind of service in central London any more. Very nice Japanese waiting lady, very professional and attensive. I personally hope this restaurant does well and have more customers they deserve.

Nice and comfortable vibe, just 500m walk from Archway station. There is a mixture of Japanese and Korean cuisine here. Fresh made Sashimi and Nigiri, good service as well

Loved it! Super delicious and satisfying food. Loads of yummy veggie options as well as a good balance of meat and fish. Quiet ambience which is perfect for a good chat with a friend or a date night. Service was friendly and polite but not overbearing. Reasonably priced. I will be returning and recommending to others 😀

Perhaps this is due to cost of living crisis but their fish to rice ratio has been way off. Used to be a good local sushi joint but now I’m not quite sure if I will reorder where there is Mitsuryu, Maido etc around the area.

Lovely sushi place in Archway, ppl were very welcoming. We ordered a few hot dishes and they arrived quickly. Inside there are a lot of table and the place was super quiet. The food was nice and tasty.

One can get an average meal here, not that I will bring friends to come back again.

Delicious sushi and other Japanese dishes at a very reasonable price. Good service. Would definitely recommend. We attended with a group of 12, so they are able to cater to groups up to about that size (any more and we would probably have had to split tables).

Delivery an hour late. Refused to do anything about it

We love Sushi Wa but have had an awful experience ordering take away. It took over 2hours to come. I called after 1hr40mins to enquire and was told it was 10mins away, had to call again at 2hours. Has now arrived cold. Will not be ordering take away from them again.

Avoid this restaurant!!!!!!!! Very poor experience. The restaurant is only 6 walk away my home, they took 2 hour to delivery my food. I called the restaurant to ask where was my order, the customer service was very rude. I ordered unaju don and chicken katsu curry. The unaju don is just in a little box, with half of salad and pickle radishes. Even my cat needs more food than this and it takes 17p. Chicken katsu is very thin, I think they use one chicken breast for the whole evening.

I had sushi, green tea doriyaki and sake cocktails. The cocktails were amazing, sweet but at the same time balanced, I was seriously impressed! The green tea doriyaki it was warm and super tasty, for me it was the first time I tried a doriyaki warm, I usually got them cold but this one was so soft and the green tea cream....wow!! The salmon sushi and the tempura prawn were brilliant as well and the salmon was very fresh! The gyoza were tasty too. The atmosphere was very nice, with comfortable seats, nice decorations, quiet...top for a romantic date! In terms of customer service it was excellent as well, the waitress took care of every order, looked after us but was discreet at the same time. Price wise for such a quality of food and place it was pretty good!! I would definitely recommend this place and I would definitely go back there again to try the Korean dishes!! :)

My family enjoy eating in this restaurant for many years. Although it usually takes us 30 to 45 minutes to get to this restaurant, we love their dishes, their service and cleanliness. There are countless meals we have taken in there and we have never been disappointed once.

I used to dine in and take away from this restaurant. The food quality and service were awesome. However, it is not that impressive when ordered on Just Eat. The tracking app said the food was delivered before we actually got it, which was confusing. The food quality deteriorated quite a bit that I wonder if it's a different chef?

The food quality is always top so for celebration we decided to order our favorite sashimi set this Sunday night. But tonight we were for the first time very disappointed :'( Ama Ebi Sushi, Hotate Sushi, Ikura Sushi supposed to be high quality sushi were ridiculously small but more importantly absolutely not fresh! Something very wrong happened on these items. We want our 15 pounds back! The rest was as usual very good. Sashimi set is close to perfection. Tempura were a bit oily, maybe rushed? Take your time to make them right. We care about food quality and taste way more than we care about delivery time. When you spend 60 pounds on a meal, you expect to get quality, not a rushed meal. It ruined the celebration. Please be more careful. We do like sushi wa.

The food was totally cold when it arrived, even after I called the restaurant on if the food was actually still coming. I'm sure it would have been great otherwise, but for the cold mess that arrived, it was severely over priced.

The food was good barring one dish that was incorrect. We ordered some noodles for our children but we’re sent the spicy/chilli version of the dish which they were unable to eat.

Very good food! The fish was tasty and fresh, everything was well packaged. It took a bit longer than the estimated delivery time, but only 10-15 minutes. I asked for no chopstick (I have plenty) but it came with two nonetheless.

Absolutely love this place. We’re so lucky to have this place on our doorstep on Highgate Hill. I love the mix of Japanese and Korean food. Choose anything from sushi, sashimi to chicken Katsu curry and bulgogi. The staff are so polite, friendly and attentive. Keep up the great work. See you guys are Covid lockdown 2!

Ordered a beef teriyaki. What I got was 7 strips of almost pure fat. Disgusting. Threw it all. For the price you pay, I expected much better quality. Never again.

This Japanese restaurant is almost always packed in the evenings and you can end up waiting for your food for a long time. The food is good though - sushi, stir fry, tempura...

Quite nice food - fresh ingredients. Some items felt better value than others, as if there's some inconsistency in pricing. The sashimi plate and tofu bibimbap were the best items although I wish the egg on the bibimbap had been runny, but I suppose that's difficult with delivery. The samurai sushi roll perhaps the weakest - it was fresh and well put together but lacked seasoning which made it dull.

The Sushi is the best in the neighbourhood and have never been disappointed with any of the food I have ordered. Modern decor and friendly staff make this a nice occasional place to eat. Was given hand sanitiser and left my name and number on entry in case of a Covid incident so hopefully I won't get a call from them anytime soon. Once you visit Sushi Wa I promise you will return.

We ordered sushi through Uber Eats, the delivery came very poor quality, the fish is paper-thin and the prawns just batter. We ordered most expensive dishes their signature maki rolls, terrible, just rice. Rice taste was good. No value for money.

Seven Sisters in Highgate Sushi Wa was a new experience for me. A friend suggested something different from the norm. We came on Wed night which for the restaurant was quiet and lacked atmosphere but it meant our table got full attention. Selection of sushi was good and in particular the Seven Sisters was impressive so much so that we ordered 2 plates. Lots of flavours and eye catching presentation. Staff were attentive and it was worth the trip.

Waiter was very helpful with us re what was gluten and vegan friendly. Food was decent.

Really good food. I especially enjoyed the chicken and the dumplings. The staff are kind and the atmosphere is nice.

Went here recently for our anniversary and had a really nice meal. We got the £25 fixed menu so we could try a bit of lots of different things and they were all fantastic. The staff were really friendly and attentive too and the open sushi kitchen is a nice touch. We'll be going again very soon!

Incredible authentic food, our family are huge sushi fans and this is our go-to local place with delicious sushi but probably even better hot food in comparison to other Japanese restaurants. Amazing teriyaki chicken, sweet potato croquettes, grilled ausbergine, and vegetable tempura just to name a few. The best Japanese I've ever had outside Japan (and I've been to quite a few), all at a reasonable price.
