Avoid avoid avoid gave us all food poisoning. Eat here if you want to be on the toilet all night. Service was aggressive telling us off about parking angry woman in the kitchen.

They sent us the worst sushi ever. Tuna was grey and tasted bad. Salmon was tired. We once ordered from them before and things weren’t this bad. Never again.

Do not eat here. 2 in hygiene rating. Real shame as the branch in Whitton is cleaner.

Sushi manga is a staple of ours. Usually get an ocean bowl, but most of the food is good

Very poor sushi. Rice undercooked, plain and tasteless with barely any seasoning. Tuna with sinewy bits and rolls poorly assembled.

My order was 90% rice and the fish wasn't even in the middle of the roll, poor quality.

The food was unbalanced, with too many cheap carbs and not enough protein in each dish. For example, my poke bowl was mostly plain white sushi rice, with hardly any salmon, tuna, or crab. Even my 9-year-old son, who loves chicken katsu curry and usually can’t finish the dish from most restaurants, complained that there was hardly any chicken in it. The prawn fried rice was also lacking, with just five prawns in the whole dish versus copious amounts of noodles. We ended up throwing away a lot of rice and noodles because they dominated each dish. All in all disappointing, second time we’ve tried it and second time it’s let’s us down.

Food arrived late, we waited over 85minutes for the food. Finally arrived, rice was Cold, Chicken burned like a charcoal, dumplings were cold as well only good things were good was a cold beer. It’s another time when we are not happy with food and service quality. I’m sure that was our last order from this “restaurant “. Will never recommend them!! Good Bye

Food was okay but arrived late and was cold.

My experience with sushi manga has been amazing. The owners are very friendly and kind manners. I am very happy with the food ive been ordering from them due to no issues and ive been ordering for a year now ! I see them trying their hardest to satisfy their customers and their english is not the best but they still can serve you😅 I recommend the cobra rolls and mocha flavoured cheesecake! These are my favourites. I always have takeaway or bring my friends to dine in as we always have the best experience with sushi manga. The prices are very good for what you are being given and i think the only price i would change is the cheesecake should be 1.50 not 2.60.

The portion sizes have gotten smaller and it's the priciest takeaway we order from. So we don't order from them very often. The food is good though.

Food was good but I had 2 missing items and after calling the restaurant all I was told was: sorry, we are too busy… it was quite expensive so I’m not sure enough was done. Had to ask if they could at least add those 2 items on my next order as they were too busy to do anything on the day.

The food was very tasty and good quality, however the portion size of the chicken teriyaki bento is tiny! Probably 50g of chicken for a £10 main meal! Disappointing.

The food was really horrible they using very old oil to fry everything and I actually don’t think that using tempura batter I think it’s just batter. I’d like a refund

Not great quality sushi at all. It’s not very expensive so in fairness, you get what you pay for. For the price, it’s ok, it’s cheap sushi. If you want good sushi, pay more and shop elsewhere

Very impressed by the quality of the food. Delicious tuna and salmon, very fresh. Flavour’s we’re great and miso soup was excellent.

Very plain and tasteless rice, small fillings, sushi smells like soap and poor customer service. I ordered a platter and called them to state the above. Nothing happened. Won’t order again.

Paid £36 for a delivery and 2 items ordered not packed 😑 😒 1 soup missing from Bento box and paid for 2 x Chicken wings and only received 1 order.

*Updated review: Disappointing meal, sushi rice was mushy and overloaded in comparison to the filling. Filling amount was abysmal, you can only taste the rice. Dire consequences of current inflation climate but just so disappointed my favourite sushi place has become mediocre now. Everything else was quite off and almost stale like it's not as fresh as it used to be. We ordered tempura, seafood udon and pumpkin katsu on top of a lot of sushi rolls. Previous 5 star review from 7 months ago: Favourite sushi place in the area, regular for takeaway. They're quick and delicious all the time. The rice is cooked well and not mushy. The fish to rice ratio is also spot on too. They have lots of great cooked sushi roll options (soft shell crab, tempura, eel, etc) which was great during my pregnancy. They're lacking in raw fish options as there's only salmon and tuna but can't argue with how consistent they are with their quality of food.

Simply amazing! We visited yesterday Sushi manga for the first time and we will definitely come back ... We tried the sushi and hot food and can only recommend it as it was delicious!

The quality of the sushi wasnt great compared to Sushi restaurants in Richmond. The price wasn't too expensive at all. Sadly we will not be visiting this place again. We tried a variety of sushi and warm dishes. The quality of the sushi was warm and the rice wasn't the best quality. Sushi lovers will understand this isn't the best place to eat.

Extremely disappointed. Terrible service. I ordered 4 sets of sushi and some other food. I wanted extra ginger and no wasabi, so I left a note in my order as well as called the restaurant and requested extra ginger. My food came with two tiny tiny ginger. So I called the restaurant and asked why didn't they send any ginger. At least 4 small sanche for 5 dishes that I ordered. He said its £1.50 each. These are small sanches that you get for free in any sushi place specially when you spend £30 on sushi!!b very cheap . Shame on you

The food was excellent from starters to mains. Everything was cooked to perfection with generous portions all in all yummy hot and fabulous. Would definatley recommend and also good value for money I will def be reordering again soon 😋

We are customers to Sushi Manga since June. Always loved this place and never had any bad experience. But today we received our order and it was absolutely hilarious, only rice, not filling or just tiny piece of filling added into sushi. We paid more than £50 and received absolutely without taste sushi. I don’t think we will ever order from this place. More than half sushi went to rubbish bag…

I place my order at around 18.19pm on 9/11/22 and the estimated time was around an hour later not a problem there, but nearly 2 hours later my order finally arrived around 20.15 this is not acceptable and how can you blame the weather The restaurant isn't going to give you any money back for your delayed order. They say: "We're really sorry your order wasn't delivered on time. The bad weather was delaying our deliveries, sorry."

The sushi was not fresh, the rice was awful hard, not cooked well and isn't tasty. I have never eaten sushi like this before! Very very disappointed

Rolls were dry. Salmon mango avocado roll were not good. Salmon was overcooked, mango was not tasty at all.

The food tasted ok but the presentation wasn't very good as the lettuce the sides were served on was brown and limp. The rice for the katsu curry was dry and stuck together in large clumps (it clearly wasn't fresh). I also received a different katsu curry from what was ordered.

Beef Ramen was excellent, nice and spicy and the Mixed Box was great as well.

They did not deliver the rice or the sauce for the Katsu curry. Only the chicken. You had one job.

Paper bag was soaked with oil - spillage from one of the dishes. Made a little unexpected mess in the kitchen.

Absolutely disgusting. Ordered two chicken ramen dishes and upon arrival, it reeked. It looked inedible and the chicken was rubbery. It was so greasy too. Inedible.

The food was pleasant, and the service was quick. The driver walked off with my change, which wouldn't be much of a problem, but he took nearly a tenner without so much as a word.

My husband and I regularly travel to come here. High quality, low prices. I have always enjoyed meals here. We are making our way through the menu ! As a picky eater, this is my go to and I am happy to try new things here. Super friendly owner and staff. The photos I took do not do the food justice. . Cannot recommend enough ! Food was cold. katsu curry sauce tasted like bistro with some soy sauce! Was first order based on good reviews as my usual restaurant wasn’t open but will not be ordering again. Really not sure how it’s got good reviews!

Not the best or worst sushi I've ever had. The sashimi and nigiri was really good. Unfortunately the rice to fish ratio was completely out and there was more rice than anything else with the inside out rolls. I won't order from here again if this is usually the case.

Very tasty food delivered quickly - This provider never fails to impress. We like to try something new each time we order - the softshell crabs were so good but the Yakisoba was amazing.

I had a take away, prawn 🦐 chill was good! But slightly uncooked inside flour. But enjoyed! And spicy tuna roll was good! And they have car parking. Staff are generally friendly!!!

Food turned up over an hour late, I had to chase the restaurant for a response - they didn’t know what was going on. When the food turned up it was Hot, however the Katsu Curry sauce had so much oil in it that it looked like it had split. Couldn’t eat the sauce. Overall a pretty abysmal meal and I would not recommend this place.

First time ordering, food piping hot. Tempura vegetables were delicious and crunchy. Will definitely be ordering again very soon

Sushi Manga is the best Place to eat , food is super tasty and Delicious!!!! You should try sea food rice 🍚 bife yakisoba , and salmon lover sushi’s (URA MAKI ) … I love 🍣 🍱 ❤️ They also have very nice selection of Sushi boxes . Thank you sushi Manga for your hard work to provide the best food .

Great sushi I must say, nicely surprised. Price was competitive too for how good the sushi were!!. The place is not the most modern restaurant ever and mopping the floor would help tbh, but despite this I will return as the food quality and execution was good

Tasteless, gloopy and clumsy. Such a disappointment as Hampton really needs a good take-away. Went by the reviews but can’t agree with any of them.

Portions are few and its not warm

Food was awful, teriyaki was syrup with a bit of sauce sauce, beef was chewy in the ramen, kaarage was chicken in cornflakes. Not good, certainly not authentic Japanese, better options elsewhere

So good and so quick! The tempura vegetables were some of the best I've ever had.

My Mrs has refused Japanese for over 10 years. This time I didn't tell her the country of origin and she absolutely destroyed it.

Had a lovely experience here. There’s parking next to the restaurant which is very convenient. I gave this four stars as we've had nicer and fresher sushi, and the dragon roll was cut pretty big so it was hard to eat comfortably without it falling apart. Overall, staff were friendly and we had prompt service.

Excellent food,service - I will order again and again

Food didn’t turn up, rang the restaurant who told me that they aren’t delivering because they stopped it and cancelled it but they can’t refund because they can’t cancel and happily took my money and order but just weren’t going to deliver despite telling just eat that it was on its way. Absolute joke and horrific customer service

Best japanese food restaurant in London. I ordered Chicken Katsu Curry and Chicken Katsu Udon and the taste was excellent. Taste 10/10 Quantity 10/10 Delivery Time 10/10 (Unbelievable) Highly Recommended to everyone. I look forward to taste sushi next time.
