They always over charge and you have to be careful when you order and when you pay. They always try to play with bill and don’t give you any details just charge you.

Pros: Authentic flavours, freshly made, friendly staff Cons: Overpriced, bad service, quality of food seems to have gone down. Great place to go in terms of starters (paneer samosa is my favourite). But the last two occasions I've come here I've noticed the quality isn't quite the same - Daal Makhani is very runny with less lentils than usual. Food still has good flavours, but not worth the price. 3 people ordered here and the bill was £70. Don't mind paying extra if its worth it, but the service was lacking. Though the staff were polite and friendly, service itself was a disaster. Don't expect fresh plates between starters and mains. Don't even expect cutlery, you will have to ask for it. You are provided with one very thin tissue each. Previous dishes, and empty serving plates from the starters aren't cleared from the table, so you end up with a waitress approaching you and asking you to make space for her to put more dishes down. The entire table was cluttered beyond belief, and we ended up moving the chutney containers to another table and stacking the dirty plates ourselves at the edge of our table. I'm only leaving this review because there is a need for improvement. Whilst the food is of decent quality, it seems to be less so than before and service definitely needs improving. All in all, a nice place to go, but not quite worth the price. Best things on the menu I tried: Mango lassi, paneer samosa, butter naans Worst things on the menu I tried: Punjabi samosa, raita, daal makhani

I go to this vegetarian Indian restaurant regularly. The food is always tasty but the service is so slow. We ordered a take away and it took over 40 minutes to arrive. The service was very poor, no one to attend the customers or pay attention to. We ordered dal makhani and garlic naan, daal came way before naan arrived and by the time naan arrived, daal was cold. Veg biryani was actually veg pulav with big chunks of potatoes. No cutlery or paper napkins on table, you have to ask for it. Samosa was okay. Dal kachori tasted fine. Rest of the order was below average in taste. Would never recommend or go back.

3rd visit to the restaurant. All 3 times has service issues. First visit waited whilst they served the queue of takeaways and was told to sit on any table. Made ourselves comfortable then another person told us to move from that table even though it didn't have reserved sign on it. Then another person came and sat us on the same table from which we had been moved from. Then they started arguing amongst themselves about the issue of seating us even though they weren't very busy. Had to wait a long time before our food arrived as they had large paratha order..then they forgot about our coffee. We thought maybe they were having a bad day. 2nd visit almost very similar. We were pointed to the table. We sat down and 10 mnts passed not even menu given to us. We had to Hunt for the menu ourselves..no one came to take order. The girl kept drying glasses and chatting to a young male.. finally after chasing up finally order taken food arrives but they forgot coffee. Again had to chase them. No apology no smile. No acknowledgement. I wouldn't have gone there 3rd time but my son gave us treat as he know how much I used to love going to thier Heston branch..so 3rd time just as bad. Such a negative atmosphere, staff don't have clear roles, no one bothers about regular customers, one of the customers made a comment while they were being seated "oh you changed your hair style" the server didn't even acknowledged and walked away without saying thank you or having any kind of interaction. Then While hes taking thier order , kept talking to his colleague. Rubbish service..Trip advisor reviews are old 2014. If they are reviwed again probably get 1 star..

I chanced upon this place and it seemed that they were not at all interested in running their restaurant business. There were 4 people at the front, and they ran like headless chicken in that shop. No coordination, no communication, no clear roles, they just coasted along. We had to wait for 15 mins before somebody came to clear out a table for us, and then again had a long wait before anybody took our food order. While the guys who came after us, were already getting their starters on. We waited for 45 mins before our food came out, after repeated chasers. A family (who had a reservation) walked in and were told that they don't have any tables, while nobody took note of a table asking for their bill. I think the establishment should close their restaurant and focus on their catering and sweets business, the whole thing looked like a hassle to them and was not worth their time. I can't believe such a poorly run place was still running to its capacity. Must be the food because that was the only saving grace for them.

I collect a veg samosa order from them at least once to twice a week and live locally. It comes with TWO delicious sauces! Staff are ALWAYS friendly, casual, relaxed but hard working which makes for a tranquil environment every time I go in there. It is so disappointing to see this restaurant being targeted by someone using the same photograph of a yacht in the sunshine, but using DIFFERENT names, to write nasty negative reviews on Tri Advisor. Just ignore those because it is not constructive. I love Dehli Wala's inexpensive, but tasty vegetarian samosas! And I am always greeted with a smile too. Fab.

We had the samosa chaat, special dosa, aloo gobi, chilli panner, vegetable biryani, chilli naans, onion bhajis and salad. It was too much food really but we enjoyed sitting in and ordering The service was good and we didn't have to wait long for our food. It's a BYOB which is good to know for our next visit. We had started eating before I took photos!! I really like it here. We only ever get take away rather than sit in. The chilli naan and onion bhajis are the best. Unhygienic, unprofessional and unpleasant experience. We came in for lunch yesterday (21.08.23), our food came out plate by plate with a gap of at least 10 Minutes between plates. My main course came after my sides - when the main course came my sides were cold, my partners food came 20 minutes later and when we instructed them to cancel the meal, suddenly it was ready. Meanwhile, other customers (and staff) were ordering pizzas from domino’s with pepperoni on it. This is supposed to be a vegetarian restaurant. To top it all off, the girl by the till sneezed on her hand and didn’t wash afterwards. What a let down. It was awful.

We went for dinner at this restaurant and had a miserable experience at the hands of this guy serving us. Firstly, he didn't bother to come to our table to take the orders for at least 15minutes. Kids started starving and i had to go their bill counter to ask if anyone was planning to take the order. Lady at the counter asked to go back & nothing happened as he was busy having chat with other staff. After several attempts signalling from the table, the guy showed up in some sort of frustration and was very rude (not sure why). Best part is he was too happy serving the English customers. It was quite evident this poor old person is not trained on how to treat and manage all customers equally. Food was good but customer service was pathetic. If you are forced to get food from here, best to order a takeaway as neither the ambience or the way they are organised will make you feel having a good time at the dinner. Especially a big avoid for those with kids as you will regret for being here. This old man definitely needs some advice and training on how to treat customers. If this old person happens to be the manager or owner, you can help yourself by giving up customer facing and allow others to serve. Remember that if you dont treat your customers well, some else will. Worst part is this is much different to the DelhiWala in Southhall, where it was fanstastic experience. This franchise of Delhiwala is really a big let down!

We've been for eat in meals over a number of years and, although the food is good, the service is extremely poor and criplingly slow. Today, we had to chase the staff FOUR times to first get the tea we'd ordered and then, again and again for our food which, after 30 mins of waiting, we were told we might not get because they were 'short staffed and the lady who cooks that dish isn't in today'. Our mains finally turned up without any condiments and only one set of cutlery, and then, almost 50 minutes after first ordering them, the starters arrived. The staff are not interested and obviously don't care about their customers. After today's experience we have decided to never go back. In future we'll go somewhere that values our custom.

Few places sell Dal Makhani, Deli Wahla's is excellent. It's spicy, good value and a perfect take away with breads(they have a good selection). It's worth eating in for the Masala Dosa, a big crispy lentil pancake rolled around a potato curry, with bowl of spicy samba. It's wrapped in foil to take away but it goes soft very quickly, much better to eat in. Service is slow. Very slow. I'm sure a lot of love goes into the food, but it sometimes feels like Steve Austin is cooking and serving, in slow motion. If you're not in a rush, it's a great little find for fans of Indian food, not just vegetarians. Gets an excellent rating just for the Dal and the Dosas.

We went for the first time about a month ago, service and food lovely and price very reasonable. Since then we have had two takeaways including tonight (15/09/2024) Once again fabulous food and so reasonably priced. From now on this is our favourite place to go and get our takeaways. Jackie
