Ah where to start, from the minute you walk in the atmosphere is perfect! The food is perfect, and the staff make it even more perfect! Especially babel and misba! They always go out of their way to accommodate, and all the other staff member also. Great value for money and the food never disappoints. If we don’t eat in we often get a take out and it’s just as good! Thankyou

Walked in at 5 when it opened after spending time at Hampton Court and bus ride back to Twickenham. Group of 5 we were the first customers and within the hour it was packed. Small and cozy space, the staff accommodated several large-ish groups with reservations. Great food, all the dishes were fantastic, Garlic Naan was delicious, mix shahi platter was a great appetizer for hungry tourists, Butter Chicken, Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Balti all excellent. The chef came to our table at the end of our dinner, very nice touch. While we were there the restaurant did significant takeout business with the delivery "drivers" staying outside to wait for the meals without interrupting the indoor customers. On a better weather day it would probably be a nice place to eat outdoors.

We are from the US, visiting our son at St. Mary’s and came here for dinner. It was fantastic. The garlic naan was amazing, and I loved the tandoori chicken but everyone loved it all. The mixed starter plate was generous and the prices were very good. Only empty outside because it was windy and cold- it was a full house inside.

We had an amazing experience. Sid, the head chief suggested a fantastic combination of flavours. We will be coming back soon!

Came here to celebrate my grandads birthday whose a pescatarian, the chef came out and asked for our dietary requirements and then made a special off menu dish for my grandad of king prawns and spinach but in the traditional bengali way. Was perfectly.spicy and tasty. I had the paneer naga tikka masala and it was also really great. Food here was epic and the staff, the chef and front barman especially were really helpful, kind and co.siderate and sorted out the cake.for.us bringing out and singing happy birthday. Great night for.my grandad and the family.

Amazing food, I had the dry meat and it was absolutely delicious as well as the king prawn tawai. Customer service was excellent too made us feel very welcome. Mr babul was a legend, very nice and helpful.

Great authentic curry - appreciated the recommendations from staff. I took a friend from the US and it didn’t disappoint!

Three of us managed to get a table on England match day as we got out of the stadium pretty smartish. Food was very good and service was rushed but you kind of expected it. Got the bill and was itemised but thought it was a bit steep as none of us had anything special. Madras, pasanda, chilli garlic chicken, 3 beers, nan and rice. Came to £128.19!!! I check today on regular prices and Chicken Pasanda is £10.95 (as marked on web site), we were charged £17.95. Same for the other dishes. Now I know match day is special and we'd had a few but in the light of day I think we were ripped off. Almost double markup for match day is a bit too opportunistic to feel comfortable. Will come again as the food was excellent but will check prices again on menu against what we paid. Disappointing.

Baboul was a fantastic waiter who made us feel like the only two in the restaurant!

This is my favourite local curry house. The décor is gloriously traditional and every time I return, I am treated like an old friend. Babul is particularly attentive and he always does a great job.

I’ve been coming to the Twickenham Tandoori for over 20 years. I’ve eaten in many a curry house in the Twickenham, Richmond, Teddington and Hampton area and it’s the best by far. Best food and best service.

Such lovely service!! Our friend was vegan and even without reminding our waiter when ordering extras he remembered without even having to ask! The food was soooo tasty, I never usually ask for things takeaway but I wasn’t going to waste it! My only tiny tiny thing was the lily’s behind me, this is a personal preference but I hate the smell. To be honest though, never put me off my food as it was toooo good.

Excellent food and service. The Tawai house special (I had the Lamb Tawai Jalfrezi) was the highlight. Lovely fluffy naan bread. Delicious king prawn puri to start. Great evening out all round!

We’ve been visiting Twickenham Tandoori regularly over the last two decades even-though we live at the opposite end of the country. Words can’t describe the warmth and hospitality we’ve received over the years and the cuisine just goes from strength to strength. This restaurant is our ‘happy place’. I don’t want to recommend it because I want it all to myself! : )

It’s a good curry house to be fair. Decent food and prices so can’t knock it. Always a few tables outside for those inclined for a cold wet country but each to their own! Been here many times and the prices get hiked up massively in rugby days so be careful. Don’t like the whole qr code now to get a good review so buyer beware. Good advice and good good will see you through. Don’t be quite so aggressive with customers guys.

Everything is a 10/10. Wasn’t sure what to order but the waiter gave us a great recommendation (including the beer - we loved the Bangla). You are welcomed with an amazing array of dips and Poppadoms. Portion sizes for everything we ordered were super generous. We had the butter chicken and lamb balti with rice and a garlic naan - everything was delicious and food came quickly. Service was so warm, welcoming and efficient - we were very looked after. It’s clear why this restaurant has stood the test of time.

We visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday, it truly was remarkable. From the minute we walked in the waiters were all so friendly and helpful. We were shown straight away to our seats and given the menu. There was so much choice it was hard to choose and when we ordered we were asked did we want any spices added. Which we have never been asked before in an Indian restaurant. The food was delicious and piping hot which is just how I like it. It truly was the best Indian I’ve ever tasted and I’ve had quite a few. We will definitely go back and when we do we will have extra spices added

Had my 77th birthday at This restaurant with14 people last night It is well known by me and my friends for many years. As usual the quality of food, service and ambiance were outstanding. The lamb jaflong was exceptional. There is no doubt that Twickenham Tandoori deserves all great reviews that others have expressed. I will add similar comments to a trip adviser review to hopefully guide people in search of a great curry at a very reasonable price with thanks to the staff who helped making a memorable night👏😋

We come here every week (almost) after playing badminton and we love the team! The food is always brilliant, they cater to all our requests (vegan food, wine, rum) and always find a table that is big enough for our party. I can't recommend them enough 😊😊😊
