Such lovely service!! Our friend was vegan and even without reminding our waiter when ordering extras he remembered without even having to ask! The food was soooo tasty, I never usually ask for things takeaway but I wasn’t going to waste it! My only tiny tiny thing was the lily’s behind me, this is a personal preference but I hate the smell. To be honest though, never put me off my food as it was toooo good.

Excellent food and service. The Tawai house special (I had the Lamb Tawai Jalfrezi) was the highlight. Lovely fluffy naan bread. Delicious king prawn puri to start. Great evening out all round!

We’ve been visiting Twickenham Tandoori regularly over the last two decades even-though we live at the opposite end of the country. Words can’t describe the warmth and hospitality we’ve received over the years and the cuisine just goes from strength to strength. This restaurant is our ‘happy place’. I don’t want to recommend it because I want it all to myself! : )

It’s a good curry house to be fair. Decent food and prices so can’t knock it. Always a few tables outside for those inclined for a cold wet country but each to their own! Been here many times and the prices get hiked up massively in rugby days so be careful. Don’t like the whole qr code now to get a good review so buyer beware. Good advice and good good will see you through. Don’t be quite so aggressive with customers guys.

Asked for more spice and dude brought out a delicious curry with maya chilli’s would highly recommend. Love this place

Everything is a 10/10. Wasn’t sure what to order but the waiter gave us a great recommendation (including the beer - we loved the Bangla). You are welcomed with an amazing array of dips and Poppadoms. Portion sizes for everything we ordered were super generous. We had the butter chicken and lamb balti with rice and a garlic naan - everything was delicious and food came quickly. Service was so warm, welcoming and efficient - we were very looked after. It’s clear why this restaurant has stood the test of time.

Had my 77th birthday at This restaurant with14 people last night It is well known by me and my friends for many years. As usual the quality of food, service and ambiance were outstanding. The lamb jaflong was exceptional. There is no doubt that Twickenham Tandoori deserves all great reviews that others have expressed. I will add similar comments to a trip adviser review to hopefully guide people in search of a great curry at a very reasonable price with thanks to the staff who helped making a memorable night👏😋

We visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday, it truly was remarkable. From the minute we walked in the waiters were all so friendly and helpful. We were shown straight away to our seats and given the menu. There was so much choice it was hard to choose and when we ordered we were asked did we want any spices added. Which we have never been asked before in an Indian restaurant. The food was delicious and piping hot which is just how I like it. It truly was the best Indian I’ve ever tasted and I’ve had quite a few. We will definitely go back and when we do we will have extra spices added

We come here every week (almost) after playing badminton and we love the team! The food is always brilliant, they cater to all our requests (vegan food, wine, rum) and always find a table that is big enough for our party. I can't recommend them enough 😊😊😊

A brilliant Indian tucked away on a side street. The staff are always friendly and always suggest new dishes that they think we might like and tailors the spice levels depending on preference . Food is delicious and we would definitely recommend

Visited this restaurant after a recommendation from a friend. Food was excellent and the service also great. Had a couple of questions about food choices which were answered without any issues, and the staff really understood my requirements. Can’t fault the food or service and will definitely visit again when next in the area.

Had food from hear the other night it was ok nothing amazing as enjoying with the family until it was ruined by the manger Hussain!he was very rude to us and only just wanted to take the money and not value our customer even though I had been eating hear for the last few years it really puts your off !!! Avoid at all costs

Awful service from Hussain one of the ownership absolutely disgraceful! I work in the hospitality industry and the way he spoke to us tonight was awful my mum who I was with wasn’t happy with her seat because yesterday we booked a seat for two online and then I called up to check and they said yes it’s booked when we got there our seat wasn’t ready was a different seat fine then we had drinks our meal and then we refused to pay the service of it because they kept taking out starters away and double charging us and then the service when he brought the wrong stuff out for us and then the table. We brought it up. With the manager Hussain who shouted at my and said well don’t come here again I said I have been eating here for over 10 years and didn’t care and carried on disrespecting my mum it’s an awful experience and don’t expect anyone to ever go there !

Always a great treat to visit here. They remember customers who may not have been for a couple of years. Food is always freshly prepared, well spiced, seasoned and lovely herbal aromas. Great value, too. Recommend any fish or prawn dishes.

It was first time we ordered and very bad experience by ordering from this restaurant they talk to customer very rudely we order tonight and it was no good taste in biryani they are giving more salad and less rice I talk to them but they talk very rudely they don’t know how to do customer service never ever order again from this restaurant

Tasteless biryani. Who puts chickpeas in a biryani? Huge portion, no raita and waste of money.

I went in there with my siblings looking to have a lovely family dinner out together. We had mixed grill, special butter chicken and chicken Makhni. I always have garlic naan and peshwari naan with my curry. It was amazing! We ended up having a lovely evening with tasty food and left completely satisfied. One thing I have to say is the portions are big! We ended up taking some home so you do get value for the money. Excellent! We will be coming back. The staff is nice and quite attentive. Something I always look for when I am out eating in restaurants.

We had lots of issues with order: 1. poppadoms missing 2. Pathia - ordered lamb but got chicken 3. Naga - asked for extra chilli but was no hotter than the pathia 4. Odered mushroom bhaji veggie dish but got mushroom rice (disappointed child had no main) 5. One of thr onion bhajis was burnt and inedible At least most of the food we got was tasty. Honestly, this is the most mistakes I've ever had in any takeaway order ever in my life.

Really great takeaway: -Lamb Chops were tender and beautifully spiced -Chicken Tawai Jalfrezi was melt in the mouth tender and packed a good level of heat, -Special Butter Chicken was a great sweet and spicy experience and -Naan was lovely and doughy. The only thing that wasn’t great was the Tarka Dhall, it lacked garlic and or seasoning, please fix it ;) Despite that we will be sure to order again
