The most horrible people and place to visit. Not kids friendly, disgusting frozen food. They don’t make fresh Italian cuisine and are shutting in Richmond for good this month. Avoid

Fairly cheap, but food was lukewarm and I was forgotten about after receiving the pudding menu. There was paper strewn across the toilet floor, so presumably not cleaned or checked particularly frequently.

Took party of 11 including 4 under 7s for lunch before theatre matinee. Courteous and efficient service, good choice of kids food as well as adult. Reasonable prices. Would recommend highly

I went in and left without eating anything, the place had an unpleasant atmosphere, it was not a good place to spend happy hour, the staff had an attitude like why did you come, the prices and menu on the internet were not the same as in the restaurant, we traveled for hours and were disappointed. I do not recommend.

Carluccio’s Richmond is a stylish restaurant with a great choice of food. We enjoyed a lovely start to our birthday celebration, and our waitress Adriana made sure everything was served perfectly. I highly recommend Carluccio’s and if you can always ask for Adriana if you wish to have a 5* service.

Really nice restaurants with good vibes and very attentive service. The food is delicious and well presented. We enjoyed a late breakfast and our waitress Adriana was very friendly, kind, polite with a great recommendations for drinks and food. We had smoked salmon and eggs royale – everything was cooked and prepared to perfection. Will definitely be back soon! ❤Thank you for a great time.

Had brunch, good choice of food, caters well for vegetarians

I've visited here before for brunch which I really enjoyed, so decided to go again. I ordered the smoked salmon, poached eggs, and avocado. The eggs were slightly underdone as parts of the white were 'snotty'. Unfortunately, the plates were also cold when we were served, which didn't help, so I found this visit was disappointing. But, the service was very good and the staff attentive.

Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and her recommendations were spot-on, adding a personalised touch to our dining experience. Mitra’s attentiveness and professionalism were exemplary, ensuring that every detail was taken care of with a warm and friendly demeanour. Her suggestions from the wine list perfectly complemented our dishes, enhancing the flavours and our overall enjoyment.

A restaurant that offers a bit of everything, everyone should find something they like to eat. The food is average TBH, but the portion and price are great. A perfect restaurant from quantity, not quality.

Today I went into carluccios for a small drink and food, i welcomed by Mitra who made sure I was accomidated too. The waitress Niamh was very helpful when I was being served my food. Definitely will be returning :)

I visited Carluccio's for a coffee meeting with a colleague. Honestly, I couldn't recommend Carluccio's more highly as the best place in Richmond for coffee. The service is outstanding. Sam took my call before arriving and was simply the most pleasant and efficient person...he really cared about my needs. Vanessa prepared the best coffee I'd tasted in years! I let Colette, the Manageress, know how much I enjoyed my visit...she's a lady who knows how to serve and lead her team. Can't wait to go back!

Went for an early dinner with my brother in law. He had the sirloin and I had the ribeye steak. Seasoned and cooked to perfection. The roasted potatoes were fantastic as were the sides of tenderstem broccoli, spinach and green beans. 10/10 meal and Colette was a great host. Would recommend and will be going back

Came to Carluccio’s Richmond for some lunch as we were in the local area. We were greeted & served by a lovely young woman called Keiana. She was very friendly & super welcoming (which was a great start), allowed us time to look over the menu & then took our orders without any issues. We had a couple dietary restrictions & Keiana was very accommodating & patient with us & even recommended particular dishes. Once we received our food, she checked in with us again to make sure everything was ok & correct (it was) & continued to serve other customers with a smile. Such a lovely young woman & the food was delicious.

I had 2 excellent waitress’s, Keiana and Mitra was both so so helpful, and my food was amazing.

Took the risk and walked in at 7pm with no reservation. Mitra found us a table very quickly and the rest of the team were so friendly despite being busy. Shout out to Ayah for being such a sweetheart!

I had a wonderful time here, wonderful staff including our waitress, Ketsia, who served me and my friends well. The manager, Mitra is amazing! She made us feel welcomed which we greatly appreciate. The food was very enjoyable, the taste of the seafood linguine is something that I will never forget!

Made a booking for a group of 4 last Friday for 7pm. Waited by the door to be acknowledged for 20 min! Our table wasn’t ready. It took 20 min to take our order and 60 min for the food to come. The food was average, neither good or bad. Im glad we had 50% discount code as this made the experience just about bearable. Won’t be returning.

Great night at carluccios. All the food was great but the sea bass was a knock out! Service was fab too.

Fantastic food, Lovely staff! I visited carluccios richmond for my friends birthday. We particularly enjoyed the antipasti (the calamari and mozzarella focaccia were our favourites) our waitress Ayah was so friendly and the manager Mitra brought over a free glass of Prosecco for the birthday girl. They made the night so special!

Celebrating our wedding anniversary at Carluccios Richmond couldn’t have been a better idea. The staff looked after us so well, Ketsia was an excellent waitress and looked after us brilliantly. Thank you! We will be back soon

Popped in for lunch, the service was amazing! I didn’t realise the tuna comes pink and our server, Mitra, changed my salad straight away. The staff were all really friendly and approachable, I will definitely be back in the future.

Well Carluccios Richmond was the Jewel in the Crown for me. Always excellent service staff were passionate attentive and always went above and beyond omg how times changed. Visited on Monday evening with some friends and quite frankly the service was awful 😖 Arrived at the restaurant stood by the door 🚪 wasn't acknowledged so went and sat down at the table waited 15 minutes nobody even bothered to ask if we wanted drinks or to take our order ( it was Monday and the restaurant was dead 2 tables I counted). Finally prompted a member of staff she took our order but with zero enthusiasm. Countless items not available due to lack of delivery ( but this I could deal with ). It just really seemed like the staff didn't want to be there one staff member did say they were short staffed but the restaurant was empty so no excuse really. A gentleman from a table next to us even had to go to the bar to ask to be served. The only saving grace was the food which was amazing. If I could give zero stars for service I would. Certainly will not be rushing back in a hurry.i also refused to pay the service charge. Such a shame carluccios service has now become like witherspoon. Maybe it's cut backs but I certainly won't be going back with this level of service Very sad

Absolutely dreadful service on a Sat eve. The restaurant was not particularly busy, however we were completely forgotten about on several occasions (after waiting ages after finishing our mains, we then had to ask for a dessert menu & even then nobody came back). We then decided to skip dessert (due to being forgotten about) & ask for the bill. Nobody came back with that either & we just went to the reception area to pay instead. Staff looked totally disinterested & absolutely no sense they they were doing anything wrong. Initially when we arrived at the restaurant, virtually all the tables were empty inside. When we tried to request a particular table we were told that one wasn’t available! Also when asking for tap water they frugally poured a glass from a jug (& didn’t leave the jug on the table). Food & wine were below average & I would never, ever return here again. Dreadful!

I haven't been in here in a few years, thinking the chain restaurants were getting tired. I was wrong. I was surprised at how good the food and service was. 4 of us ate dinner early before the theatre. Everyone was happy with the high standard of food

I hadn't been to Carluccio's in years but my step daughter decided to have her 15th birthday dinner there. I wasn't expecting much but how wrong was I? The food was lovely but what made the evening was the staff. Best service I've had in a long time. They really made the night special. I will definitely go back.

Service was amazing, it was only Matra’s (name might be spelled wrong) second day and she handled our large group amazing! Food was underwhelming, signature pasta dish was a very small portion, watery and little flavor. Tiramisu was mostly frozen so that made it less enjoyable. Overpriced glass of mediocre wine. Overall good experience though!

Three of us each had a delicious main course - sea bass filets, saltimbocca and a burger. The wine was lovely - a Sauvignon blanc - and the food was hot, fresh and well cooked. The service was excellent and all the staff were friendly and efficient. It’s a great place for good quality food at a reasonable price in a pleasant environment in the heart of Richmond, which is actually quite rare these days.

Good range of dishes at reasonable prices. Good coffee too. Forgot two of our dishes but were quickly brought out when we asked. Cannoli shells were a bit stale but all other desserts very good.

Delicious food and a buzzing atmosphere. The only difficult thing to swallow was the service charge automatically added to the bill. Given that the service was slow, and staff weren't that attentive, it didn't seem justified.

Too few servers for a busy Saturday. No one checked on me. I ordered a second glass of wine that never came. The people next to me ordered after me and finished eating before I got my food. There are too many other Italian options to deal with this.

The staff were very polite and friendly, however the food we ordered was not so nice, My chicken was nicely cooked and presented , but the sauce was rather watery , and my potatoes were very salty my wife's beef steak was tender , but considering the price we were paying , I felt that the portions were rather on the small side.i can't really give this place my hole hearted recommendation .

Went here for a meal with my boyfriend last week. The food was really lovely, and the staff - Elisa and Ricky - were very attentive. Unfortunately, the kitchen forgot the prawns in my seafood linguine but Ricky quickly (and very apologetically) saw that this was resolved and took the cost of my dessert off of the final bill, which was really lovely and completely unexpected. I will likely return again soon, especially as my receipt has a '20% off your next visit' code if you return within 14 days! Thank you for a nice evening.

They hadn't had their delivery apparently so nothing on the menu with large tomatoes was available e.g. salad caprese), nor was the arancini and a couple of other dishes. We were only informed of this once we started ordering. Workmen wandering in and out of the dining area repairing something out the back. The food we did have was tasty.

2 x large glasses of wine and a small bowl of pesto nuts = £30. Service indifferent/moody. So many better places to spend your money.

The worse diner in a very long time. The service was very slow and disorganised to a point where we had to ask 3 times for our food and go and get our drinks ourself - I normally never do this btw (ok that can happen, maybe new staff). But the food was horrid. My chicken looked old and tasted like fish… all with too much oil and salt (to probably mask the poor quality and lack of freshness of the food). It’s a pity, because I use to love this place!

Popped in for Brekkie before the rugby the other week. I had the cooked breakfast and it was great, the sausage was the standout highlight. Shoutout to the ketchup too, it wasn’t Heinz, it was better a lovely balance between sweet, sour and a dash of Unami. A fresh OJ to wash it down with, delicious. I treated myself to a breakfast dessert of brownie, it was 5 stars, like eating chocolate butter it was so gooey. I was mildly confused when the smiths “please let me get what I want” came on the hifi system but my mood was soon improved when nightmares on wax came on. It had me dancing in my seat. The staff were welcoming and pleasant and service was prompt despite it being a busy service

Popped in for breakfast before the rugby on Sunday and had a delicious breakfast and coffee. The staff were very attentive and accommodating (particularly Alex the manager) even though it was busy. Would definitely visit again!

As they had run out of nearly all wine couldn't someone have gone to sainsburys and restocked while awaiting a delivery.

We had to dine quickly and leave. Food and drinks arrived quickly. Service was great. We got out in time and it did not feel rushed.

The food was great. The disabled toilet was blocked by chairs so luckily I was taking extra painkillers and walking because if I was in my wheelchair I wouldn't have been able to get into the toilet. That is why it lost 1 star. Panna Cotta a definite win however a little too lemony for my taste but eaten with the raspberry sauce it was good. The starters and main everyone agreed were delicious.

Food is ok but only 1 guy was trying to cover all the service on a Saturday night. The empty plates were not collected for 30 minutes and we finally had our main dishes after waiting more than 70 minutes.

Far from a great experience. We arrived for breakfast in the morning at around 11:30am and were given breakfast menus. After 30 minutes of waiting, we were still not served and by the time the waitress actually took the time out of her day to serve us she said breakfast was no longer an option. To our dismay, we had to order lunch and were left to wait for an unacceptable amount of time for our food to arrive. Food was decent but way too overpriced for what it was. On top of this, we were charged over £5 for the service fee...but for what? We had to flag down the waiter every time we needed something which was harder than drawing blood out of a stone as they paid us no attention. This was my first experience here and I don't think I will be returning. Sort yourselves out and hire more staff.

Disappointing experience. I went to eat breakfast, however the staff took over half an hour to notice our table and by the time they did the kitchen stopped serving breakfast and we were forced to eat from the lunch menu. On top of that my food came cold. The staff continued to take really long to serve us, or give us our bill. Overall just horrible staff interactions, very long waiting time. Not happy at all.

Food, wine, and service were excellent. However, I found the tables a little too crowded together and it was very noisy, so, not the place for a romantic dinner.

Enjoyed a family lunch here, menu has something for most tastes, the atmosphere was relaxed and unhurried, the service was attentive without being intrusive and the food was good. A great location for a family or couples dining.

Abysmal I have left a message but no one has got back to me I didn’t even eat my food so I shouldn’t have had to have paid for it.

This was a mediocre but expensive meal. Tasteless seafood pasta and sea bass plate, both like warm. Nice waiter but overworked and distracted staff serving several areas. Great disappointment.

We had an incredible lunch. Fantastic - I had the bruschetta with Parma ham starter and a seafood lasagne main course. I had first thought the portions would be small based on their kcal estimates but I was mistaken. The main dish was very generous in size and I guiltily couldn't finish it all despite it being very tasty. 5 stars.

Everthing from the waiter service to the food & drinks was great, we spent a nice relaxing birthday celebration in there.

We had a great experience as a big family. Food turned up promptly and the team working there was so lovely and helpful. The spaghetti veganese was particularly nice, as was the sauvignon blanc. The pistachio & white chocolate beignets are a MUST. I'd definitely recommend for big groups, good vegetarian options and a super well located restaurant!

Excellent experience, especially with 8 of us

Restaurant was not busy, but staff interaction was very limited. We were sat next to a family whose child was coughing despite there being other empty tables This there was no easy chance to let them know the chips were cold. Also no easy opportunities to order more drinks or deserts. Food (other than cold chips) was good.

Christmas 3 course menu excellent value, 2 visit in a few day. Lovely, kind attentive staff. 😘

Dreadful experience. There was only one waitress for the entire place. My guess is that she forgot to order our lunch, because after 40 minutes she came to apologize. Took at least 10 more minutes and we were annoyed from so much waiting. Penne giardinera, same dish that I order for nearly 10 years, was gruesome. Penne was raw and chewy, spinach balls were so burnt it look like charcoal, and I think that the chef realized the meal was so s**** that he added way more chilli so I wouldn’t notice. Yes I did. On the top of it, I found a spaghetti on the middle of it (???). My daughter’s lasanha was burnt too. Can’t believe I spent my money and time here. Sort yourself out, Carluccio’s Richmond.
