Sushi Daily Kendal in South Lakeland

Stopped to have a tea, latte and a slice of carrot cake. Great service and a huge slice of cake that we shared. Great value for money.

It’s a nice property, exactly opposite to Wordsworth Museum. We stayed in the Suite with Lake View, quite spacious but exactly suite. Essentially, just a big room with a sectional sofa and bed (no separate living room). Although the bathroom was huge, with separate shower, bathtub and two sink with vanities. You get great views of the lake and enjoy the serene location. Food was okay, I personally enjoyed their afternoon tea spread. The swimming pool and sauna were the highlights of my stay.

Great food at sensible prices halfway round the lake on a walk back to Ambleside from Bowness. Smoked haddock chowder was outstanding.
