We found here by accident when we were out walking our dogs. We sat outside admiring the view and drank a beautiful coffee. The best was yet to come though… the food! We were going to order a toastie but after seeing the menu we went for the chicken curry and the stir fry. They were AMAZING. So tasty and the best meal out we have had in a long time. I wish I could describe the flavours in more detail. You must visit. Our only regret was that we didn’t have room for pudding afterwards. Thank you for a beautifully freshly made tasty meal

Went to go into this coffee shop as it said that dogs were welcome, however we were asked at the entrance if we had been on the sands we said yes. We were then informed that the dog could not enter, I said we wanted to sit outside and the dog was not muddy but were told that the dog would have to walk on the floor to get to the balcony so could not enter. Again I said the dog was not dirty and she could check. We were refused entry. Why do they advertise that dogs are welcone when clearly they are not? I hasten to add in view of the owner's reply to my review that our dog was not 'dripping wet,' we had answered truthfully that we had walked on the bay, but that had been about an hour previously, therefore the dog was clean and dry and had been walked on pavements quite a considerable distance since being on the bay. I was certainly taken aback when asked if we had walked on the bay and to suggest that the dog was 'dripping wet' is not just an exageration but a downright untruth.

We live in Grange and visit the Coffee Pot several times a week. We always have an excellent experience of both the food and hospitality. Both customers and dogs are welcomed and I can fully recommend the Coffee Pot as cafe of choice. Jona and her staff work extremely hard and are open 7 days a week.

As a local I have been visiting the Coffee Pot Grange for some considerable time and the recent negative review is not in line with my experience of this establishment. I have always found the food of a consistently high standard with a varied menu from which most people should find something to suit their particuar taste. It is open longer hours than most other local cafes & restaurants (yes, even on Christmas Day!) and the length of time it has been here under the same ownership together with the many positive reviews are testament to the fact that it serves the local and visiting people very well. Many locals visit and support this establishment on a regular basis and my recommendation is that you visit and judge for yourself.

As a local I like to keep business close but this place really needs avoiding ! Order for 2 people Tuna salad Chicken curry & rice 1 pint of local ale 1 Mojito Tuna salad was bland, a bit of lettuce at the bottom, toms, cucumber & green olives just piled on top finished off with a dollop of warm tuna….. Waitress brought it out, didn’t ask if we needed any condiments so popped back in to ask. Chicken ( 😂 ) curry came 10 mins later, watery/greasy substance in a bowl with 3 pieces of small chicken, potatoes, carrots & greenery…. Rice was all stuck together, cloggy & lumpy…. A few fork fulls & left it. Beer weak & almost iced up ( its ale so should be room temp ) Mojito tasted non alcoholic No-one bothered to come & ask how things were…. Totally disgusting & best of it is you pay when you order….. no wonder as you’d certainly not be happy to pay afterwards !!!! Avoid, Avoid, Avoid 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Such a great place to discover! This cafe is so friendly and welcoming to all, including dogs! They serve the best fish finger butty I've ever tasted!! I also love that they have a balcony for when the weather is good with lovely views over the bay. The menu is very tempting and I'm dying to try the filippino options as they sound amazing. They have a small toilet facility too which is down stairs. I make an effort to visit whenever we go there.

Nice friendly staff and the balcony overlooking the sea is excellent on a sunny February morning. Only 3-stars as the food seemed quite expensive and has obviously increased substantially in price since the menu I found online from a year ago. The all-day breakfast is now £12 (up 25%), and the Filipino specials are also £12 (same increase). I ended up with the fish finger sandwich which, although tasty, was in a very small bun for the £6.50 price. I'd like to return to try the Filipino food, which sounds really interesting, but I hope the portion sizes are generous.

We visited The Coffee Pot today on Boxing Day. We drove 65 miles from Workington in the north of Cumbria as it's our nearest Filipino eatery. The Coffee Pot serves a mixture of English and Filipino food, with a range of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages available. The food and drinks were excellent, I've got to admit I've tried some Filipino food before and this time was the first I would actually eat a Filipino dish again. A sumptuous piece of chicken in soup with some beautifully cooked rice. My husband who is Filipino was also very impressed with the food. The Coffee Pot is located overlooking Morecambe Bay and there is a balcony you can sit out on to eat your food. The staff serving were very friendly, nothing was too much for them. The place is very clean and tidy run by a Filipinna who knows how to cook. Prices were very reasonable and they didn't hike the prices just for Christmas either. Five * all the way. Car park to the rear of the establishment.

Ordered off the Filipino menu - tried the Pork Adobo, Mung Beans Stew and Pork Bicol Express. Everything was good flavor wise, but the portions were a little small and underwhelming. Particularly the pork dishes, there were only a few pieces of meat served. Also ordered the hot chocolate and coffee - not sure if it was just for that day, but there was way too much milk added in both drinks. Unfortunately, it was also a rainy day and barely anything could be seen from the windows.

Really nice mid sized cafe with some great views if you can get an estuary view seat. Service very good and quick. Staff polite friendly and helpful. Food very good but slightly limited Cafe menu (having said that it IS an English / Philipino Cafe but just about all of the Philipino items were more of the main meal variety - but did sound very good). Overall, would definitely recommend. Been twice and both were equally good 👍 😁.
