We had a very high quality nigiri sushi from Chef John. Fish were fresh and the size or balance of the sushi was perfect. He explained about the fish and was very interested. Very good service and atmosphere. We had a very good experience ,Thank you !!

Very good service, the waiters and cooks are very kind. But the portions are ridiculously small, and the sushi is very very mediocre for how expensive they’re priced at. They don’t have a rich or rare flavour to them, the taste is very mediocre

We used to go to the Oyster Bar at Harrods but that's long gone and the whole dining Hall has changed. Now we were seated at Sushi by Masa to enjoy the seafood. Service is very atte time and friendly. Selection OM the menu is very well selected with some signature dishes ( oysters with caviar for £250 anyone?). We had Oysters and Champagne and I ordered 2 sushi as I wanted to try them at least. Oysters we're great and decent sized. The Snapper sushi was excellent. Sitting in the middle of the dining hall is my favourite as you can watch people and take ot all in. For sure it is a bit on the pricey side of things but you know that when you eat at Harrods, and you get very high quality food and service. Looking forward to come again.

The star of the night was undoubtedly Chef Lorenzo, whose nigiri-making skills are nothing short of masterful. Each piece of nigiri was a work of art, bursting with fresh, delicate flavors that danced on the palate. The Toro Toro Rolls were a revelation – rich, buttery, and melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The Salmon Roll was equally impressive, featuring the freshest salmon that paired beautifully with the expertly seasoned rice. We also indulged in the Miso Aubergine, which was a delightful surprise. The aubergine was perfectly cooked, with a savory miso glaze that added depth and complexity to every bite. The Black Cod was another standout dish, tender and flavorful, with a miso marinade that complemented its natural sweetness. A special shoutout to our server, Beata, who made our dining experience truly exceptional. Her attentiveness, knowledge, and warm personality enhanced our evening, making it a night to remember.

The sushi experience is wonderful. It is fresh, the seating is comfortable, and the service is excellent, as always at Harrods. The prices are somewhat high.

Perfect light meal for us as we wanted to try different restaurants in Harrods, what we had was perfect! Wagu Beef and black cod was cooked to perfection, and the sushi was so fresh👍🏻 Really really nice😊

Where else can you get freshly grated wasabi, the rice bubbles warm in your mouth, the freshest and best quality fish - it's worth every pound!

We stopped by for a light lunch. The cucumber and avocado salad had decent taste but was over salted. Salmon roll serviceable. Toro and salmon nigiri OK, but I have had much better in over a dozen other restaurants. We decided to try the maitake mushroom roll with truffles. This was by far the biggest disappointment. Lacked any flavor. Do not order this. We ate two pieces and had enough. You'd think that they would ask why we didn't finish this, as it was one of their most expensive items at £90, but the waiter just took it away. No one inquired how our meal was overall. They then botched the check, as we requested to use our Harrod's points to cover a small poetion of the bill. It took several minutes to sort it out. We left there feeling it was a bad experience. I'm not 100% sure this business in a part of the legendary chef Masa. I feel he be quite upset knowing how they run things here. Too many better sushi options in London to waste your time here.

Set tasting menu was great, the fish was very fresh and all delicious, tried both starters and both deserts - all fantastic and can’t go wrong with a glass of champagne to start. Good service and the usual Harrods buzz, we were lucky to get seated immediately. Would recommend.

The only good thing was the sushi, but even with these it wasn’t great: fish good but the rice was cold. Ended up costing 700 for a mediocre meal that would have costed half that price at Zuma for a bigger and better meal. Staff is a bunch of incompetent and arrogant people. Half of the dishes are pre made but it still takes a century to get the food. The itsu at Heathrow t5 is a better deal. Don’t recommend. Waste of money and time. Watching a Mr beast video with some sushi ordered from nobu than bringing myself here. 😗💨👎🙅🏿‍♂️

Normal food, much better in other Japanese and better priced. Also normal service, they forgot a drink that they then wanted to charge us for. They charge you 12.5% ​​for service, in our case about 40 euros as a tip.

Great sushi and excellent atmosphere with the live music. Matthias gave us great service and recommendations (if you’ll pardon the pun). A little on the pricey side but would definitely come back next time we’re in London 🇬🇧.

I always have an amazing dining experience at Harrods food hall & now after they renovated I really enjoyed dining at Sushi by Masa! Not only the food is so delicious & fresh. The manager Patricio was very hospitable knowing how to look after a guest, good job at introducing about Sushi by Masa & gave great ecommendations on sushis 😊 Staff Rodell & Konstantinos were attentive always made sure things were fine. Also the dining hall hosts Tadias & Celesti have always been so welcoming. I'll be back for more for sure :)

When in Harrods prefer Masa over the rest restaurants on the ground floor . The food is remarkable and the service impeccable!

While the sushi and food quality was good, the portion sizes were tiny and it was very expensive for what it was, so therefore giving it 3 stars. Between the two of us, we had a toro (fatty tuna), sake (salmon) and hamachi by the piece each, spicy tuna cucumber roll and the black cod with miso butter. I was still hungry but spent nearly £80. The service was polite and one of the waiters incorrectly brought me a wine but let me have it free of charge.

I’m pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Even more surprised that they’re rented poorly on Google. I highly recommend the scallops and miso black cod! Accompanied by a glass of Chablis! Highly recommended! Also service was impeccable!

We ordered black cod sashimi and came with lots of bones, then they forgot to bring our sashimi platter! Two big mistakes with no action from the manager! Don’t recommend!!!

Loved the atmosphere of the place, but didn’t really enjoy the food. Probably had my expectations too high. Had the £85 Chef’s Selection Sushi Platter (7 kinds) Sushi’s were decent, but I definitely have had better You’d have better value ordering the ala carte rolls

The sushi at this restaurant was undeniably delicious, and my family thoroughly enjoyed the flavors and variety. However, it's disheartening to say that soon after our meal, all of us fell ill, which raised concerns about the hygiene or perhaps the way the food was stored. While the taste was exceptional, the aftermath left us worried about the food's safety standards and its impact on our health. In light of this experience, it's imperative that Harrods takes more stringent measures and enhances supervision over the restaurants they offer to their esteemed clients. Given their reputation for luxury services, ensuring top-notch hygiene and quality should be a priority to maintain the trust and satisfaction of their clients

Another shameful example of sell out chefs, exploiting their name to be showcased in disgrace at Harrods. We are talking rolls that are better done at wasabi for £22. One thing is being able to afford this, but when it is truly not on par with anything else in London. Then again charging $1000 pp in New York and still surviving is a joke, when there are 20 or so better places at 20% price within a 1 mile radius. AVOID.

Right. If you drop by in Harrods and want to spend a lot for sushi .. then this is the place. Sushi is freshly prepared right in front of your eyes .. fresh / well made and delicious too. Not sure of the prices .. we had 2 sets of sushi rolls .. spicy tuna and yellowtail roll and it was almost £60-70/ / Throw in 1-2 more dishes and glass of wine / champagne and you will easily spend £200/- Service was decent though they forgot to get our full order which isn’t a big deal. Champagne priced at £21 a glass. Normal Harrods / London prices… Verdict 4/5 Meal for 2 easily £200/- with 1 glass of wine each and a few sushi dishes… Good place for a quick snack/ drink unless you are loaded and prices don’t matter

The bar experience is really nice, quite on a Monday the chef wasnt so enthusiastic but the food was exceptional

Honestly DON’T DO IT. London has so many good sushi places do not waste your money here. The food is awful. Bad quality fish, chewy, tastes like metal, super over cooked sushi rice, messy service. I’m pretty sure I’ve had better sushi at Itsu. If they aren’t serving top top quality fish then I really don’t know what justifies the prices given it’s a counter restaurant in a food hall. The miso cod was pale on the outside and nuked on the inside - a temperature that can only be achieved by microwaving - and the miso was put on top like squeezy mayo. For 6 nigiri, one roll and a tiny portion of miso cod with just tap water we spent £160. Daylight robbery.

I was very excited to try sushi by Masa. He’s a 3 Michelin starred chef after all. Unfortunately the sushi served at Harrods by Masa are probably one of the worst I have ever had. I would say that supermarket sushi tasted and looked better. To pay £45 for a badly made roll that’s completely devoid of taste is shocking. I strongly recommend that you don’t waste your money here. The Grill at Harrods is excellent !

We stopped by and this restaurant had the shortest queue. The service was excellent, they were very attentive and had a nice chat with us. The sushi was delicious. 100 recommend!

We went to Sushi by MASA for the first time and it was excellent. The setting was really nice for a Thursday evening with the live music - and the counter seating was really comfortable with lots of space. The food was exceptional, really tasty and a really nice mix of unusual dishes you wouldn't find on a London Sushi restaurant menu. The service was very efficient . It's the perfect place for a fun evening with friends, a business lunch or dinner or just a romantic evening with your partner. Highly recommend.

Extraordinarily good Sushi in a wonderful location with exceptional staff. We had the Chef Masa tasting menu with paired Sake - highly recommend this food and experience.

We went for lunch on Saturday. A truly amazing experience, from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. The staff do not miss a beat, they are incredibly warm and welcoming, and the attention to details and guests needs is amazing. The food is even more than what you expect, delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. We had such a great time and everything was impeccable, from the food, to the atmosphere and the service. The Toro tartar with Caviar is a must try, so good! We had the best time, Thank you.

What a wonderful experience and a welcome addition to the London restaurant scene. The best raw ingredients, where the food is definitely the show. The A5 Wagyu is exceptional, and the spicy tuna rolls were to die for. The staff are new and still working to the official opening next week, but you wouldn't have guessed. Will definitely be back.
