Really disappointing some of the staff are incredibly rude and hostile Having spent over 2 weeks working nights in london using this hotel during a work stay it was very annoying to encounter 2 rude members of staff one at the front desk and one at the concierge after long night shifts The company booked this hotel so we could park the work van here during the day while or teams worked over night and so we could sleep in the day. We specifically requested the stay for sleeping in the day and safe parking the second booking we made was cancelled for what the hotel called a no show but this was due to the fact we where working nights we needed to sleep during the day and our check in was supposed to be that night not that morning This was specifically requested at the booking stage like the first booking we made with no problem so goodness knows why this happened. The front desk were extremely rude regarding this matter and eventually we got it sorted after quite a heated argument and accusations our card had been declined when they had taken money for a no show over 20 mins to resolve front desk person was damn right rude. Then after this the manager called the room while we where sleeping to apologise waking us up you have to be stupid to not realise we where trying to sleep after all the hassle lit felt like this was done out of spite as they know we where trying to sleep. Then on a second occasion while trying to park the van the concierge where again very rude when we arrived at 5 am when the was clearly space to park the van saying the wasn’t a space eventually the person apologised but this was too late again another argument when tired after working all night. And it was easy to park the van with plenty of space. This person tried to blame other staff saying they hadn’t done things properly. Previously on other nights a woman called Nina was really helpful and made space to park the van and went out of her way to assist us so very frustrating on the next night it was a problem all of a sudden. very disappointing experience all round and on top of this The room was hot and stuffy AC didn’t work the was a horrid stain on the carpet and room service chose to ignore the please do not disturb sigh banging the door with the hoover and knocking the door saying they had to check the room again waking us up. No plug by the bed for a phone Shower was an antique the toilet need about 10 flushes to work. The corridors smelt of mould The breakfast was a mixed bag a lot of over cooked food and the plates whipped away before you finished your last mouthful making the whole experience very rushed and not relaxing. Staff just need learn to treat all paying customers with respect even if we are working and don’t fit the normal tourist guest box and perhaps don’t look as clean cut and the average punter. We spent a considerable amount of money to be treated like second class citizens Hilton Honours you can do much h better than this.

I was a little excited about the hotel and the rooms because I only read a few reviews after booking and then I was a little annoyed with myself. My expectations were therefore somewhat tempered BUT I have to say, I was VERY satisfied. Yes, of course, the hotel is no longer the most modern and you can see that in the windows, on the bathroom door, in the hallway... etc We didn't arrive until midnight and had a smaller room for the first night with the advice that we could change the next day. We did that too because the bed was really small for two people. But we slept well and our requests for the larger room were easily accommodated and at no extra charge. We got a room at the back (much quieter at night) with two large single beds. The bed linen, cushions and blankets were very pleasantly soft. The towels were also plentiful and fluffy. The carpet may not be to everyone's taste, but in my opinion it fits the ambience and flair perfectly, and provides sound insulation. The walls are a bit thin and you can hear the neighbors in the room when they are loud or someone in the hallway - but we were so tired from our daily trips that it didn't bother us or we didn't notice anything. Breakfast was plenty to choose from, nice service and no “traffic jams” at the coffee machine etc. The location is great. We felt very comfortable, welcome and safe. I would book again :)

4/10 not recommend for personal preference. ROOM (4024): rating is 2.5. Average and smelled like elderly persons (mothballs). Rooms definitely need a renovation/upgrade. No USB or wall outlets near the bed. No full size mirror. Bed was comfortable. Pillows too soft/squishy for my preference. No noise issues during our stay. BATHROOM: Tub/shower combination very outdated. There is a cloth shower curtain and paint peeling around door and tub. Small size but there is enough counter space. CLEANLINESS: room was clean but with it being outdated there definitely are noticeable areas of “grime”. SERVICE: Nothing special and average at the check-in. Service wasn’t friendly from the lady checking guests in during breakfast (did not say good morning or smile or was not in the slightest welcoming). We did receive an average bottle of wine in the room for special celebration which was a nice gesture. LOCATION: Nice and easily accessible to buses and trains. Within walking to several restaurants and shopping as well. Felt safe during our stay. Overall: This hotel gets the job done if you just need a decently clean and comfortable room/bed and a good area to stay in. Conference was happening during our stay so it was pretty busy. Would request and updated too if they have them available.

The bathrooms had room for improvement, the showers had poor pressure and the shower stalls might leak onto the toilet floor, so you should ask for several large towels. Try to get a view somewhere other than the courtyard and other people's rooms. The location is excellent - quite quiet, even though it is right next to the center. Sightseeing buses and other buses practically leave from the parking lot.

Negative points: The rooms are very old and really need renovation. No heating in the room. The hygiene is terrible (several hairs found in the bathroom, on the toilet bowl and on the floor), the bed is as hard as concrete (hello the aches and pains I had during my stay in London). Positive point: The hotel is well located and well served by transport, the staff is correct.

Great location not so great hotel. Honestly I’m shocked that it’s even hit as good eating as it has. This is the 2nd time staying here this week. Unfortunately this was booked for me. The first time I stayed here I had a room Road side it was noisy all night I had a early start so was not as rested as one hoped to be. Also there was only 2 sockets in the the room and my plug wouldn’t fit so had to get an extension lead. The rooms are dated. Honestly I rather a travelodge or premiere inn. You would just think Hilton would be at least a little nicer. Unclean mugs Pokey room on 2nd stay the other price you pay for wanting a room that’s not noisy. Shower base shipped and grubby - 2nd stay- I have no desire to stay here again

Room nice and clean beds were comfortable enough, although bath needed a deep clean and the seal around top of sink dirty and needed renewing. Vent in our room dripped annoyingly all night whilst A/C on and left a big wet patch on carpet. It was reported, someone came and put a towel over wet patch had same issue 2nd night but knew they were aware and maybe it would take time to remedy so did not pursue it. Breakfast was really good all nicely prepared and plenty of choice for everyone, the meal we had in the evening was really nice too. Couldn't fault the service we received. All staff members were very pleasant. Location was ideal couple of mins to huge shopping centre places to eat and transport links. Wonderful weekend. Would stay again.

Check in was fine but the girl checking us in was quiet as a mouse. Had no idea what she was saying and she couldn’t make eye contact. But ok. Room was comfortable, could’ve done with a power outlet by the bed but it is what it is. Breakfast and service at breakfast excellent. Only complaint is with housekeeping. We left the sign in the room from 08:00 but room wasn’t cleaned when we returned at 14:00. When we finally came back at night, only the most minimal “cleaning” possible had been done. Dirty cups were left behind, most towels were taken but not replaced. So overall not bad but with some small issues.

Date stayed: July 2024 Room Booked: Double Guest Room (Rm 7086) Pros: + Location: The hotel is a 5-10 min walk from the Shepard's Bush tube station, which has Central Line going to it. + Breakfast: The buffet has an amazing selection. You've got the typical ingredients of an English breakfast (sausage, 2 types of bacon, black pudding, beans, mushrooms, scrambled and sunny side eggs), but there's also a deli section, a vegetarian section, a small salad bar area, a yogurt bar, fresh fruit section, and an entire section for fresh pastries like croissants, muffins, and various types of bread. The drink section was also very impressive, with plenty of juices and coffee machines. Cons: - Room desperately needs a renovation. The paneling of all the furniture had plenty of scratches and worn areas, the desk glass had lots of stains, and the ceiling tiles and vents were very dirty. - Air conditioning did not work. I went down to the front desk after the first night and asked for maintenance to check on it, but when I came back, there was no indication that anyone has looked at it, and also there was no difference in temp. - No plug sockets by bed - in fact, the only outlets were by the desk, so no way to charge your devices near your bed - Refrigerator constantly overheats because there is no ventilation built into the cabinet that the fridge is in - My room specifically used to have a balcony, but it's since been closed off and the condition of the space is awful. - Bathtub floor is much higher than the bathroom floor, which made getting out a potential slip hazard for those without the best coordination (also there is no shower curtain, only a small piece of glass near the front, but I'm seeing that be a trend in London hotels) Overall thoughts: It's obvious that this hotel is in a major need of a big renovation, both inside and out - this has been known for several years, but it appears that management is ok with leaving the rooms in such state of disrepair. If this was under the Hampton badge, I'd give it a pass, but this is under the Hilton badge, and it just does not deserve that. It's a shame, because the location is decent, and you'd think a Hilton hotel named after one of the wealthiest parts of London would reflect the surroundings, but this is the worst hotel I've stayed at in the Hilton portfolio, both in the UK and in the US. I did have dinner at the restaurant, and the food was decent, albeit pricy (but to be expected). The restaurant had a no-takeout policy though. The gift shop was an absolute rip off, which again, shouldn't be a surprise, but 5 GBP for a can of Pingles and 12 GBP for a small double decker bus was still a bit of a shock.

Hotel m.M. It's a bit old and sometimes louder at night when police or ambulances drive past with flashing lights, as it's on a thoroughfare. But since you have a program, you're only in the hotel to sleep and you're tired and you hardly hear it. The breakfast buffet is rich, there is something for everyone! Do not come to this hotel if you have a choice. The room had no AC temp control and it got hot in no time during the day in summers, the room had no door lock latch for additional safety and I had a horrible experience with the room 100 years old safe with locked my passport and valuables, causing me to cancel my plans for half a day as I had to sit in this shoe box size room while they had to physically drill to open the safe. The washroom and showers are claustrophobic, especially the shower which is way high from the ground and my arms hit the ceiling while taking a shower. When I went to the reception to complain about the issues, the lady at the desk didn’t even show empathy or apologized for the horrible experience. the overall experience was shocking and is simply unacceptable for a “Hilton” brand. By far the absolute worse Hilton I have been globally. Stay away!

Had to stay here last September due to a mix up with another booking. Unfortunately for me it was London Fashion Week which meant there were virtually no hotel rooms free in the whole city. I paid £560 for a double room which was very dated, looked like it hadn’t been modernised in 15 years. The staff were great though.

Bad hotel .. because They took the money from me because it was one of the rooms next to mine. He asked for a drink at night and a sum of money was withdrawn from me. What is this behavior? I will not book this hotel again. Do not put the bank card in their account in the hotel because it will withdraw your money and it will not be refunded.

Rooms are extremely small and smell so bad. The house keeping don't clean the room very well and the towels were smelly and unclean. At breakfast all plates and utensils smelled so bad. Front desk people are not helpful, rude and judgmental base on your race, age, or accent. I've been a member of Hilton hotels for more than 15 years and I've never had such a bad experience with Hilton hotels. Not recommended!!

I recently stayed at the Hilton London Kensington and had an incredibly disappointing experience. Their customer service is one of the worst I've encountered. When there is an issue, they never answer the phone, whether you're calling from your room or after leaving the hotel. I called more than ten times from long distance to follow up on a problem, but no one ever answered. It is impossible to follow up on anything with them. Avoid this hotel if you expect any level of customer service.

What I liked the most about this hotel was the location. It near the shopping mall and the tube station, and lots of restaurants to choose from. However, i must say i am very disappointed in the service and low standards of this hotel considering it is meant to be THE HILTON. I have stayed at Hiltons around the world and must say this is the worst Ive been to. The service is VERY POOR, i stayed 5 nights and NEVER was able to order room service because they never answered, even when i called reception still nothing. Calling reception is almost pointless because they rarely answer the phone. I called for a porter at check out and waited about an hour while calling several times. Rooms are basic 3 star to me. Toilet had a strong foul order. Bathroom definitely needs an upgrade. I gave a 2 star because, For the price, this hotel needs to do better, or charge less!

We were not staying at the hotel but came to watch the Dortmund v Real Madrid UEFA Champions football finals. Lovely cosy atmosphere. We had drinks and food. And being a fussy vegetarian I must say I was really impressed with choice and quality. So tasty. The champagne was also very nice! Great customer service from both the lovely ladies who were working that night.

Bad breakfast, small rooms, small beds and small bathrooms, not a 4 star hotel. They didn't let me enter the hotel buffet and sent me to another room where there was almost nothing. The waitresses looked at me badly for asking for cutlery and didn't give it to me. Despite entering within the indicated time, the trays were half empty and they had no intention of replacing anything. The empty juice jugs. Bad experience . I would not go back .

The good: Location is close to the subway/tube. Beautiful area to walk around and a shopping mall around the corner. The included breakfast we had was really good! All the staff was really lovely! The bad: The rooms. We paid $400 per night in June and for what we got for that price was not worth it in my opinion. The beds hurt our backs and were so stiff. There was random white paint on the walls not matching the colour of the rest of the room. The shower head sprayed everywhere and we had to call for extra towels to clean it up each time. Looking back we should have asked to be moved to another room. The ceiling in the bathroom had major stains from water damage.We were in room 5070. I've seen people complain about the size of the room but that's what its like in London regardless of where you stay. Hilton I really reccomend a refurbishment in the rooms. You need to maintain some standard with having the name!

UPDATE: Following to my post office manager got in touch to resolve the issue. They looked into CCTV footage based on times i suggested and helped me locate. Greatly appreciate their attention and willingness to solve problem. —-/ Thefts in room so avoid please. My new tommy jacket got stolen from room and another colleague had his wine bottle opened and used by the staff. The jacket was on the hangers looks like they tried and liked to take it away. Sad about losing it.

Not as smart as other Hiltons I've stayed in though, in fact quite tired in places. Feels in need of some TLC. And the shower attachment had a mind of its own! Room freshened daily and everything topped up which was appreciated. Also handy to have the small fridge.

No sockets available, no USB ports, no charging points/plugs by the bed. Had to unplug the lamp on the desk to charge my phone the other side of the room. Was lovely and clean tho. Location was fantastic for what we needed. Smoking area on the roadside, surely there must be a small space “out the back” rather than have customers on the busy roadside?

Plus point is its good location being in between two Central line underground stations, Shepherd's Bush and Holland Park, which makes it easily accessible from Heathrow using the Elizabeth Line and then switch to Central line. But what's best are the two bus stops at its doorstep with bus 94 that runs 24h and takes you to/from Notting Hill, Oxford St and Piccadilly Circus; and bus 31 that takes you to Camden Market area. Toiletries are from Crabtree & Evelyn and bathroom fittings are from Grohe, and they provide canned sparkling and still water. Pls provide bedroom slippers, though. And the paper laundry bag is a bad idea..

The worst Hilton I have ever stayed at, rooms bursting at the seams, hallways with walls peeling due to humidity, the air conditioning in my room broken for 2 days without heating in winter until they "solved" it with the electric radiator in the photo , the last century. For the price, one expects minimums that are not even close to this hotel. Reception staff overwhelmed. In general it is seen that the staff is not well sized for the level of work they have. Breakfast is barely saved, but at the price of x2 full menus anywhere around. In short, to avoid.

This is a nice hotel, well located and very close to the tube and the large shopping centre in Westfield. A huge kudos for having a proper gluten-free section available at the breakfast buffet with a separate toaster and multiple options (see picture)! I wish more places had this.

👎 :Although the rooms have been renovated, they still appear somewhat old, and there are some stains on the bedding. Additionally, when lying on the bed and shifting positions, it makes unpleasant noises. Considering it is a four-star hotel, it falls slightly short of providing good value for the price. 👍 :The hotel has a great location, with a bus stop right downstairs, making it very convenient to take a bus to the attractions.

Old hotel, not very sound-proof rooms. Found a wet male’s underwear in my trash after check in. After providing extra cleaning for my room, i found hair in my bed (pillow and sheets as well). Room temperature setting was not working. My room was also missing a long mirror (other rooms did have it). On the other hand good breakfast.

Probably the worst hotel I have stayed at in a long time! 1st room the power didn't work to half the room, switches missing of lights and a bed side light just wasn't there! Called reception to get some one to sort power out. Waited 30 minutes and no one came. Got moved to a new room and a complimentary upgrade. Not sure what the upgrade was. Must be a room with working electrics. Broken shower head in this room and electrical burn marks above the sockets. I didn't have time to complain on check out as I had to wait a long time for the lift, and the queue at reception was enormous. Defiantly won't be staying again.

Hilton hotels have never disappointed me until staying here. The staff are incredible and very helpful. However the rooms are in significant need of update and maintenance. The room we stayed in had signs of significant wear and tear everywhere you looked. Cracked tiles, damaged and gouged door jams, showed tubs that are not only unreasonably tall and a slip hazard but the slip guard on the floor of the tub were so worn down and missing in many places. The shower head that is able to detach from the wall hanger could not be set in place where the head would spay water onto the individual but instead the wall it was hanging off of and could not be adjusted to retension. The shower rods were rusted, the beds were old, squeaky, small and very uncomfortable. Back to the shower tub, it was so tall that as a 5’4” female I felt cramped and stepping out of it was a challenge due to the unreasonable height from the floor into the tub. Our sheets and towels had stains on them and pillows had little to no life in them. I could go on and on but you get the picture. We asked for another room but it was the same story in the new room as well. For the location you would expect so much more especially out of a Hilton. You are better off at another hotel entirely. Please get your renovation team here soon, the location is decent and this could improve the ratings of this hotel ten fold. We were very excited to leave even though we love London.

Booked 5 rooms for family, to be honest after paying over £600 i expected better, the rooms are very small and in need of many repairs especially in the bathroom I also added breakfasts at £15 which are good value BUT I had booked 9 people in the 5 rooms and was charged for 10 I phoned staff Monday morning to try and get £15 refunded but after spending 10 minutes trying to simply explain that I had 9 breakfasts but was charged for 10 who ever it was I was speaking to couldnt get the jist of this and cut me off WOULDNT RECOMEND AND WONT BE STAYING THERE AGAIN

Stayed at the Hilton Kensington and was completely taken aback by the staff’s cold demeanor. Even a simple ‘good morning’ was met with blank stares. Mentioned the parking discount I received during a previous stay, and the receptionist flat-out denied such a policy, rudely accusing me of lying. As a Diamond member who frequents Hilton hotels, this hostility was shocking.

We stayed during winter and the rates are relatively good. Room is tiny which to be fair was expected. However the shower cubicle was weirdly designed. You see the shower area doesn’t have a door but just a glass barricade which doesn’t do its job. Thus the tiny bathroom floor does get flooded somewhat. Otherwise love the great access to nearby mall and services. And it’s only like 20 mins to central London via public transport.

Don't let the name of the hotel fool you. If you are looking for a decent four-star hotel, look elsewhere. The rooms look very dated and are equipped with antiquated heating/air conditioning systems. I stayed there on a cold night in January and, as it turned out, the heating system in my room did not work at all. In the picture below you can see the state-of-the-art solution I was offered to solve the problem. If I may make a suggestion to the management of the hotel, your customers will probably be even more satisfied with a night's stay at your property if the elegant heaters are branded with a Hilton logo in accordance with the chain's standards. PS: the breakfast was very good!

Some of the most wonderful mouthfuls of food I’ve ever had, BUT the service really let it down. Not all food ordered received. Female server looked greasy and really struggled with basic English. Asked for a desert menu to be told they don’t have one yet because it hasn’t been printed? Brought the card machine over while I still had half my champagne left to drink. A real joke at the end of what was an enjoyable meal. Poor form.

This is the worst place ever in a good location. First of all they never open and close at the times displayed for opening and closing times. Sometimes they close early and in other times you will be lucky even if they Open for the day. Ingredients missing majority of the time. Worst experience ever and the worst part is it never change week in week out and don’t get me started about the staff.
