We've ordered from this place multiple times, the food is good quality and tasty. That is where the good news ends, the delivery service is nothing short of terrible it has been late every order. Sometimes the food has been cold.

The order didn’t arrive on time, it was 10 minutes late when I got an update saying that it was due at another time (about an hour and ten minutes after I’d ordered. The sushi was smashed all over the box and the gyoza ramen thing didn’t have gyoza in it; it was £10 lukewarm vegetable noodle soup. Really disappointing as it was expensive too. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

I understand I live some distance from the place so I expected a bit of the delay however it was much longer than suggested time and longer than I thought it would be. The sushi itself didn’t seem fresh and unfortunately has given me a runny tummy, I won’t be ordering from here again

Very tasty food and they delivered exactly when they said they would. Very happy customer; I will be returning, there are other items on the mouthwatering menu I will have to try. (On a side note I like that I can have my sashimi with a hot seafood rice on the side; it may be unusual but I like this combination!)

Terrible service — waited 2 hours, called 4 times, kept being told “5 minutes.” No updates, no courtesy call, and food arrived cold. Eating at 10pm is unacceptable.

Fantastic food as always, food that was hot arrived hot, they didn't skimp out on soy sauce, wasabi, ginger etc. Came with cutlery & chopsticks for all - overall wonderful, will continue to order from here.

Food said “delivered” and never came. not pleased.

Nice friendly staff, helpful with menu, some vegetarian options (although we didn't have them so can't comment). Went with my son who wanted it as a birthday treat. Perfect for two people to sit in but it's not a large dine-in restaurant, just a few tables.

Food good but wait hours and hours for delivery

Delivery was very speedy and the driver was very kind- I am so sorry if I appeared ungrateful when taking in the food. The cat that entered the house was not mine so I was rather distracted haha

Edit: the restaurant is now closed and the order never arrived Ordered via deliveroo. Delivery hasn’t turned up after 1 hour and 20 mins. Contacted restaurant who said it would be delivered in 5 mins and then were unable to contact resultant for the rest of the evening as it said “user busy” everytime we tried to ring. Avoid at all costs

I spent £13 more than I wanted as wouldn't let me order without a meal deal on 2 items. it was late and I needed food so just ordered.

Lately quality and service went waay down. Over 50min late on delivery, for a 3mile distance. Cold and soggy food, and almost no customer service when ordering over deliveroo. Shame...

This is the second time I've had food at Sushi and Bento House, however it's the first time I've been in person. The shop is lovely and clean and the staff are very enthusiastic and friendly. Sushi is amazing and came out very quickly & the prawn katsu was delicious and crispy. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good fresh Sushi.

It such a shame because the food is good but the service is shocking. 3rd time of delivering the wrong food not sure if it is the restaurant or driver. But after it being late getting the wrong food is disappointing!

Sushi rice has lovely flavours and rice isn’t hard, warm enough as sushi rice needed to be , (real sushi rice isn’t cold rice) fish for sushi could have been more thicker

Food was lovely!!!! Server had very little command of the English language which was really disappointing because I had several issues which couldn't be resolved. I don't know what I ended up paying for as they didn't give me a receipt and couldn't communicate it to me.

I took my mum here for some lunch (we love Japanese food) and we we're not disappointed. The staff were friendly and the food was very tasty. My mum is a good critic as she was brought up in Japan! We will be visiting again.

Ordered 10 pieces for prawn katsu sushi but only got 5 pieces

Low score because of the bao bun abomination £7.99 I’ll let you compare the photo on the menu and what I got delivered- also I hate lettuce 🥬 not in the menu pic but the bao buns were full of it - gross

The wings n beef tray was fine but the bao buns were an abomination- in the photo they are nice looking with rocket n pink cabbage / onion - what arrived was just the beef shoved in with a load of stinky lettuce I hate lettuce why is it in there ?

2nd time ordering from this place! Food is so good and customer service was 10/10. First time i ordered i didnt have the best experience but they gave me a voucher and everything was perfect after that. Will definitely be ordering a 3rd time!👍

Delivery time is always late, but I really enjoy their food, so I now just make sure I order early.

Food was delicious! Unfortunately they missed off one of our side dishes, but I won't let that stop me from ordering from here again. Prawn crispy rolls were excellent.

Delicious, fresh sushi. Really friendly service if you engage in conversation with them. Have been going here for over a year and it’s always consistently great. Delivery and collection both good. My son gives it 11 out of 10!

Food was freezing cold. Called the restaurant and they didn’t care, weren’t interested in resolving the issue. Was also missing an item and they just ignored that. Weren’t willing to refund me for the missing item or have the driver send it to me. Food was late and lied when they said they were calling the driver as I was still on the phone to them. Please avoid.

The food in this Japanese restaurant is absolutely amazing! It's the best on the high street, so tempting to taste and enjoy. Recommend to others to visit there shop… friendly atmosphere.

AMAZING food - quick delivery, def order again

The lady on the phone was really apologetic however I ordered at 18:13 delivery was supposed to be between 19:00 - 19:20 it didn’t arrive until 19:48!!!! If I had know they were under staffed would have waited to order for another day rather than wait over an hour and half.

Got this for my 4 and 3 year old as a treat tonight and they loved it! They loved that it came with chopsticks too and to my surprise they knew how to use them very well! I know where to get our sushi cravings from, from now on absolutely lush x
