Totally herbal and chitter £2:70 in corn chips to small like babby chips 20 pieces only and to bad person,,,,

The fish and chips are well worth a try, lovely.

So sad as our last order was lovely. This one however went back when my husband got home with it and we unwrapped it. The order was quite simple with fish & chip , 2 curry sauces, 2 fishcakes and 1 sausage. We never got the curry sauces so can't even comment on them other then at £1.50 each it's not hard to see how they make a profit at cashing up if they just don't bother to dish up what's been paid for. The chips were honestly shocking , think slightly fried mashed potato! The batter just fell off the fish and the portion size wasn't the best . On returning the order we got informed that as they were new season potatoes that was normal and the fish was fried at a high temp so the batter would fall off ! Wouldn't mind so much but after 30 years of cooking for customers I might have an idea of how it works. We did get a refund which is great but it doesn't solve the issue of badly cooked food and missing stuff. Get it right the first time and then customers would be happy

Visited today for chips and pie... The main man who serves the food is an absolute disgusting man ! He wipes his sweat of his face with his hands and touches my food before wrapping it... I had no choice but to bin my food when leaving the shop. Be very careful. Make sure you watch what he does before ordering your food. Also, the cheeky monkey charges 20p extra for card transactions on top of your food cost, which he shouldn't be doing that. I don't believe his food 5 star hygiene ratings on his shop think it should be a 2 star rating place.

The wife and I decided to have a takeaway last night. As Dominoes was around £40 for the 2 of us (and very basic), we decided to try Superfry chip shop. We had really low expectations based on other chip shops in Leicester. Upon entering, I was greeted by a friendly enough chap, of whom took my order. The total of the entire order (fish, chips, curry sauce, large sausage, fishcake and a kebab) came to just under £25. Once I got the food home, we unwrapped the packages to see supreme deliciousness... The fish, freshly cooked and flaky with non greasy and crisp batter. Curry sauce was sweet and a little spice on the back, absolutely delightful. Chips were well cooked and fluffy inside. The kebab was huge, packed full of flavour, and the doner was not greasy like other kebabs. Overall, we expected the same quality of fish as everywhere else due to being miles from the sea... I am glad I was wrong. This is easily the best chippy in Leicester!!! Well done Superfry on delivering such a well presented and tasty meal for us!

After reading the reviews, we decided to give this place a try. We were pleasantly surprised by our experience. The first thing that struck us was how clean and spacious the place was. It had a couple of tables / chairs, providing enough seating for customers. The staff members were incredibly friendly, nice, and polite. They made us feel welcome and attended to our needs promptly. The food was absolutely lovely, and the menu offered a wide variety of choices. We opted for fish and chips, curry sauce, peas, and a pie. The best part was the price, which was surprisingly affordable. The total bill came to around £16, whereas at the other chip shop, a similar meal would have cost us about £25. One thing that made our visit even more enjoyable was the ample free parking available outside the establishment. They even had designated parking spaces for disabled customers, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, our experience at this place was excellent. Thank you for the great service!

Really nice place, excellent kebab meat. Never had any issues with the food or service. Very quick with service, always nice and hot. The staff are excellent, and we are now at the point where I am recognised when I walk in and my order is known. Absolutely lovely to my LO, who now wants to go with me all the time. Fabulous quality food and given I drive about 6 minutes to get here - must be good. Give them a go. You definitely won't regret it.

Charges fee for payment by Card. Realised they hadn't charged for some of the order, charges remainder of the meal cost and adds another card fee!!!

it's a pity that this place has gone so bad, it's getting more and more expensive and the portions are getting smaller, in Birmingham it's the same price and the portion is over twice as big

Our family had a fantastic dining experience at Superfry today. We ordered meat doner, chicken, and three pizzas. What made this visit extra special was the return of the previous owner, and we were pleasantly surprised by the reduced prices. It's wonderful to see everything back to normal, and we're thrilled that they're back! Highly recommended.

Everything was fine except the fish, not very fresh.

Not the best but it could have been an off day. My 1st visit, I waited some time, I ordered regular fish and chips and a fish cake, the fish cake wasn't great (over cooked) the chips were undercooked and the fish honestly was tiny!Overall not a great experience for me.

Decent chip shop never had any problems with the food if anything the portions are to big, recently changed owner's however food has remained the same.

Sold me pie from night before , he swapped and put another pie on that was from night before I did fish n chips 15 years straight for a living I won't be back waste of money pie was dry ,sunk lid , shriveled.ended up in bin .never again

Ordered a large mixed meat with naan and salad separately they gave me what looked like a small kebab meat which was dry and tasteless with a dry pitta and stale salad and two cold naan breads I understand there is a cost of living crisis right now but undercutting your customers is not the one since the new owners took over the food quality is diabolical and the portion sizes are under half the size of the previous owners the prices are ridiculous and the staff are rude I’ve ate here for 20 plus years but I will not be returning to this shop any time soon im absolutely disgusted manners cost nothing and they need to start using them the guy serving in the shop is rude and has no people skills 🤬🤬🤬

Just had fish and chips and mixed meat Dona very disappointed with the meal. Chips very poor discolured, fish no where as nice as it use to be with the previous owners. Dona meat was very dry it had been prepared and in warming dishes barely warm very disappointed

The shop wall full of yobs with foul mouths, the staff generally are really nice, my kebab was awful not there usual lovely stuff, the spice potatoes were dry and got thrown away not the best experience 2 stars is being generous.

the girl who takes orders always forgets or makes the wrong order both when ordering at home and when collect. girl, if you don't know how to do your job and forget orders - quit your job. Chips and fish are fried in the same oil and the chips taste like fish, disgusting. There was no meat on the chicken doner pizza, only cheese, kebabs are not edible, chips always uncooked. There used to be a good team there, the current team doesn't know how to work

Have used these guys for around 5 years now and never had a bad meal. Portions are huge, especially the small chips? Cannot find better tasting kebabs in Leicester and with a naan and fried veg added, amazing!! Delivery is crazily quick, drivers all real friendly too. You cannot go wrong with these guys, competitive prices too.

Think it's under new management. Used to go there all the time but not so much now. They've definitely changed the recipe of how they cook their kebabs. Certainly tasted different last time I went. And the potato fritters were mediocre at best.

Do not recommend, with an autistic family we can be picky. We asked for a tray of chips per family member with salt vinegar sauce on top and other bits of food. When it arrived, there was no salt, no vinegar, no sauce, it was all mixed together and had no taste what so ever all wrapped in soaking wet paper with no trays. When we called up to say that we can’t eat it and we didn’t ask for it like this; the manager was very rude, shouted over me, did not allow me to speak and didn’t take any care into understanding what the problem was. He refused to help. I will not be going here again and this is not a friendly business especially for families on the spectrum. What a waste of money.

Awful ordered chicken and chips. Had 4 chips and 1 bite of chicken and put it in the bin. Chips not cooked and don’t know what the chicken was, but did not taste like any chicken I’ve ever had.

Absolutely amazing food, never get an order wrong. Combo burger my husband recommends. Pizza is amazing always fully loaded. Highly recommend the doner kebab in a naan with onions mushrooms peppers. 5 stars

BEST SERVICE EVER! I usually buy food from Superfry and their service and food is very delicious. Fresh code and chips and big portions. Nayim and Kaya's customer service is perfect, very fast and always friendly and positive vibes. Home delivery is very quick and always comes fresh. I honestly recommend this place!!!!

Absolutely do NOT recommend.. ordered a lamb doner meal and chips.. firstly chips were more like scratchings, secondly the doner meat went in the bin, hardly cooked and nearly as white as the pitta bread.. called to raise my concerns and got the phone put down on me!

Great food, friendly staff and good value for money

We ordered 2 pizzas, about 1 week ago, they were not as hot as normal. We use Superfry regularly and are alway more than satisfied. I rang to let them know, I was asked what did I want them to do, I said nothing but just to let them know what had happened.

Good fish but sometimes inside is too much oil honestly i recommended. 😉

I work at a distribution centre opposite from Superfry and 10/10 services 10/10 food. The pizza is always on point, donner is always on point, jumbo monster burger to die for. And the customer service and staff are the most genuine fully hearted people ever 💳💳💥💥💯💯👍👍

Worst food i have had in a long time. The kebab looks like it came out of the bin. The chichen is dry. The pizza soggy. Even the salad is not to fresh. I rang them to tell them and there no interrested. I now have a bin full of food and £30 down. I feel like iv been robbed

I’m American and used to amazing burgers from California. In 20 years of living in the U.K. I’ve never had a burger that wasn’t dry and cremated. The burger along with an extra free pizza (done on Tuesdays) and sides was amazing. Just like back home. Juicy, warm, made exactly how I asked and I still have a whole pizza we can have for lunch today. Our family will never order from another chippy again. I’d give them 20 stars but it only goes up to 5. Highly recommend this awesome chippy 😀. I’d add a picture but I already ate it lol.
