Superfry Fish Bar in Wiltshire

Ordered a delivery tonight, arrived on time, piping hot. Chips were perfect and the chicken was perfectly seasoned.

Last night I ordered a delivery of fish and chips , I have never had such an awful meal delivered in all the time I have had deliveries . The food was stone cold and the chips looked like they had been fished out of a dustbin they definitely were not fresh and the fish was tougher than Mike Tyson , I must say I was more than annoyed and even my dog turned his nose up at the food. Sorry to say you have lost my custom !!

Deserves 10 stars! We had the 1/4 cheese burger and it melts in your mouth, the popcorn chicken is better than kfc!!! And the cod tastes so fresh! The chips well I've ordered from other chippys and I will say hands down you can taste the difference, the chips are crunchy yet fluffy in the centre! I love the food here! X

My husband collected our food and the guys accidentally forgot a bit of the order. Not only were they absolutely lovely on the phone, they delivered it all the way to ludgershall and gave us some chips too. The food was absolutely wonderful, cod was flakey and the chips were so nice. I never leave reviews but this place deserves one!! They are so friendly and the customer service is always on point!!! Thank you, I won’t go anywhere else now.

Tasted amazing as per usual. Chips were crispy and hot, and the chicken was juicy and well seasoned. Havent had a bad meal yet.

Delivery was late, but food was piping hot and tasted amazing. Would definately order again.

I’ve never had a bad meal from this place. The staff are really friendly and polite. The only thing I would change is the batter used for the sausages, it’s not as fluffy as other places.

Been coming here as a regular for many years. Never fails to impress 🙂

Chips are so good, ordered 6 peice chicken and gave me an extra the guy at the till is very nice even let me have a monster as a drink with it 5 stars

The food itself was okay, nothing to write home about. Packaging was all wet through by the time it was here, paper was falling apart and bottom of box nearly gave out.

Cannot fault it the fish and chips are freshly cooked and are of high quality will not use any other now highly recommend them

Something not right about the oil. Place smells and doesnt feel very clean. Friendly owners. Spider in box young girl was going to put my fish in. She did correct thing by apologising and finding another box. Didnt enjoy fish or chips.

This place really went up in standards when it changed hands a couple of years ago, so I was really disappointed when trying again after quite some time. Many of the chips were a mouldy green, the burger was so greasy the bun was disintegrating in the box. We asked for the skin to be removed from the cod (you can leave instructions when ordering) and this was ignored. Shame really.

Today. Great customer service. Lovely fresh fish and chips, good value for money. Highly recommend.

In my excitement at getting Gluten Free fish for my daughter I forgot my mushy peas and curry sauce... hopefully I can pick up another time as will definitely be back again. Fantastic Greek owner and great experience of service and Greek hospitality, offered vine leaves and meze dishes to try on arrival... loved it... Cash only preferred but cash machine close by

Fish was very thin, but chips are cooked perfectly. Portion sizes are huge, too much for one person. Family run and has a very friendly atmosphere. Got myself a free math lesson from the little girl while waiting 😆 Would recommend

Made the journey down to drop a family member of at camp. Me and my cousin was looking for a place for some grub and come across this chippy. Excellent service ( Especially from the old guy with the beard ) lovely food aswell 👌

We enjoyed a large piece of Haddock with super light batter and a well cooked chicken portion. Have always had lovely service here and the new owner is keeping up the tradition of quality take away food and friendly service.

Cod Roe not cooked properly. Awful smell to it and although batter was hot the Roe was cold. Never even took a bite as you know when something is not right. Eaten here for many years but new owners and staff. More training needed I think

We recommend this place, fresh food, Nice, friendly service , always smiling, the owner will talk to everyone wishing you a nice day. He know some customers by his, her name. I recommend milk shake different flavors strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, banana, and few more. My daughter and I like strawberry. They taste like real mixed fruit. The ice in its entirety is much tastier than they serve at McDonald's. The price for June 2022 is £3.80, a large mug. Very recommended

I normally love this place but was very disappointed tonight 😔 I ordered a large haddock which was super soggy and actually inedible as every bite had bones in it! One of them was really large and I actually thought it was a piece of plastic! The chips were fine but half way through I found a very black hair that wasn't mine 😩 hopefully just a one off

Ordered a piece of plaice, had to wait 15 minutes instead of the 5-6 minutes stated, although it was a nice size, it had no taste. The fish tasted very watery and batter too greasy. Not worth £6.70. The battered sausage was ok, although a little soft.

Brilliant! The staff are amazing very friendly and talkative no awkward silence while waiting. Food is really high quality. This is one of my favorite chippys the only other one what is close to it is back in Birmingham.

Most expensive chip shop I've ever been to in my life. The food was dry and overcooked. The fish was the only thing that wasn't too bad, but still just ok. Portion sizes were excellent as well to be fair, but you'd expect a lorry full of food for the price. 2 of the staff weren't wearing masks. The one who was wearing one decided to leave their nose hanging out. Also no covid safe queuing / entry plan to speak of. Staff looked so bored that death would have been preferable to working there. One of them drank from a straw then rolled the part of it that went in their mouth between their hands, and then served the food without washing or sanitising their hands. Thankfully someone else served our food. Gonna give it a 2 because of the ok fish and good portion sizes. Otherwise pretty poor and pretty pricey; two things that shouldn't ever go hand in hand.

So I'm giving a 5star because I never had bad meal from here untill last night its always been top quality food I love the bloke that owns it he is such a frindlly kind man but my delivery last night chips wasn't cooked quite alot hard and the battered burger was soggy and the batter fell Of not sure if it was because it was mashed in with sausages which I wouldn't of done all squashed. Hoping it's just one of as we love ordering from here Stephanie

Always missing parts of my order. What's the point of having a "note for the kitchen" box if it's not going to be read by the staff. And it's not an excuse either. I now have 2 very upset children for the second time because of my orders being messed up. So their treat has been messed up yet again. There's no email to contact you because I want a refund.

I have been there and I cannot praise enough the professional and friendly and welcoming approach of the staff members of the staff. Price is good too, amazing size of fish.

The fish (cod) was ok, as was the scampi (I assume, as my kids ate it) but the chips were barely cooked, soggy and anaemically pale. It's a shame, because the online ordering process was really good.

This place used to be amazing. Unfortunately the food quality has dropped and the male staff can be very rude / helpful. My last time I send my money here.

Went last night for the first time staff very friendly and professional. The best cod and chips I have had for a long time delicious! The portion was very generous the fish was white and flaky and the batter was thin and crispy not soggy which seems to be the problem in a lot of chippy’s this is definitely our go to chippy from now on . Thanks guys.
