An insult to the long tradition of greasy spoon cafs in the capital. The visual shock of clusters of chairs & tables hemmed in by crude boarding left me stone cold. So did the welcome, or lack of it. The man & woman were unseeing, unsmiling and unfriendly. Good mug of builders tea. Ham & cheese omelette was so overcooked and dried out that I left half of it on the plate . Never again.

Just around the corner from Marylebone Station and the Travelodge, at 59 Lisson Grove. Traditional style greasy spoon type cafe, except it’s definitely not greasy and has a 4 star hygiene rating! The food is prepared fresh to order. Their bacon and fried egg roll (with added mushroom) was amazing, and their coffee is about the best you can get. I will definitely go back when in the area. Open 6.30 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day except Sunday. Very reasonable prices indeed. A great little find.

Worst Cafe I’ve been too. Food was atrocious. Avoid this place as it isn’t cheap and you’re left feeling rubbish. Not good food.

Cerca de nuestro hostal se encontraba esta cafetería con unos 15 desayunos estilo inglés y más platos para desayunar o almorzar. Por unas 6 £ cargas las pilas y vives la experiencia del desayuno inglés en Londres.

Finally got round to trying this cafe and wasn’t disappointed! Friendly staff and decently priced breakfast. Will certainly be. Ack!

Café perfetto per una colazione inglese molto buona. Frequentato da gente comune, personale gentilissimo. Prezzi niente affatto londinesi quindi decisamente accessibili. Se abitate in zona è perfetto.

Always use this Cafe for Breakfast when staying in this part of London. Clean, no nonsense, good quality, quick, great value, good atmosphere and great cross section of customers.

A traditional English "Caf" and perhaps the best thing you can say about it is that it is cheap! I visited for breakfast which was edible, but canned tomatoes? How long does it take to grill or fry a tomato? Obviously too long for this place!

Legend has it that this is where Mick Jones and Paul Simonon asked Joe Strummer to be the lead singer of The Clash. Although Bernie Rhodes reckons he delivered Joe to Mick and Paul at 22 Davis Road in Shepherd’s Bush and told them he was their new singer. Depends who you believe really. But Joe used to sign on at the labour exchange just down the road, so it kind of stacks up. Anyway, this is one of a very few cafes that featured on the old ‘Classic Cafes’ website that are still trading - most have fallen victim to expiring leases, spiralling rents, or just the original owners reaching retirement age. It’s exactly what you’d expect from a greasy spoon. I had liver onions bacon and chips and it was great, and at half past two in the afternoon, the tea in the urn was pretty stewed. You wouldn’t want it any other way, really.

Came across this place as we walked from Marylebone station to Lords on the main road. Very reasonable prices as we managed to secure a table. Seemed very popular, food was good.

£9.20 for a sausage, bacon, scrambled egg, beans, chips, toast and a tea. It’s a greasy spoon not The Ritz. There’s much better places round the corner on Church Street market.

Just went in this morning (27/03/18) to buy two bacon & egg sandwiches and a Ribena and the owner himself charged me £9.10. I'd noticed the dodgy look he gave me while quoting me the price, I didn't check the price, as I was rushing to work (Westminster Council) until I checked the price listings online. Each sandwiches cost £2.70, so does that mean the Ribena I'd bought cost me £4.60? I'll never go there again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A genuine, unfussy, London cafe. Great cooked breakfast, tasty tea and fast service. I would highly recommend visiting if you would like to experience an authentic London "caff". Very handy for Marylebone station. Can't go wrong.

This is a gem of a place in terms of atmosphere and history, has been standing in Lisson Grove for decades. Standard English breakfast and beverages and sizeable portions, not that refined expectedly.

It all looks OK but service is poor and the bar food served is cheap frozen food at prices that should require a far better quality. There are far better options in London

Caja de almuerzo muy saludable y abundante. Me tomó mucho tiempo terminar en realidad. . Servicio agradable, no demasiado pretencioso, relajado. ¡recomendado!

I used to love this place, but haven't been for nearly 10 years. I'm glad to see it hasn't changed too much, but with the downside that it is now apparently owned by BrewDog. Luckily, it appears they let them continue without having to follow the "taproom by numbers" you get out of most BrewDog bars, so not only does it have it's own look, but there is a much more interesting selection of beers. It was easy enough to get a seat on a Saturday afternoon, which is always a bonus in a decent location like this.

. . HORARIO DE APERTURA De lunes a viernes: 6. 30 a 7. 00 pm Sábado: 7. 30 a 7. 30 pm
