Sunshine Kebab House in Merthyr Tydfil

Ordered two chicken shish kebabs and two chips last night. They took 1hr 45 mins to arrive instead of 45 mins as advised. The kebabs were cold and no garlic sauce and the chips didn’t arrive at all. Called the shop spoke to Mustafa (who must be owner/manager) who offered fresh meal either then or today. As it was late we said tomorrow. Rang this evening changed mind and only offered free chips which were declined by me. No thanks you can keep your chips but there will be no more orders from us. Really poor service

Usually love sami's but I ordered a large mixed about an 1 and a half ago and it was the smallest large I've ever seen. Even waited over an hour for my food. Not worth the money or time.

The best chicken doner meat I've ever had. It's homemade in shop😋 the fried chicken is also moist right through. Great little takeawy

Been coming here for 30 years. Used to be the best kebabs house any where. The best tasting meat and sauces. Plenty of portion and food value for money. Used to buy 2 on a night out one for eating at the end of the night and one for the morning .Lately been awful meats seems different taking the piss with portion size and prices. Went there last week. Meat was crispy and well overcooked and the amount of meat was absolutely shocking and I was charged over £7 for a small kebab. I won't ever go there again. Poor food and daylight robbery prices. No wonder it's dead. They've run the place into the ground.

Disgraceful attitude and appalling service x 3. I should have known better after our previous 2 experiences. However we ordered food again this evening bia food app. 1hour and 10 minutes later we rang Sammi's Kebab House who stated the food was on its way. 2 hours later at half past 10 our food arrived. The attitude of the guy when we rang the shop was disgraceful but the drivers attitude was even worse. Honestly try Sunshine Kebabs house. It's got to be better. Will make an official complaint to the food hub and trading standards re food quality

Very poor experience asked for certain thing on our order and completely ignored chips were awful chicken burger still trying to find the chicken then called up to ask to rectify owners attitude was terrible will never order from there again

Food turned up after waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes and it was freezing. I’ve had food from here in the past and it’s always been good up until tonight. Very disappointed

Ordered from them tonight and they messed the order up but when I phoned, the owner claimed it was correct. I ordered 2 chicken burgers and 1 pizza and they only sent 1 burger and charged £25 for 2 items. The burger was soggy and my daughter wouldn't eat it. I would avoid sami's. I wish I'd read the reviews as they're all bad.

Caught food poising from a chicken kebab!!!

Wanted to order a large pizza cheese and tomato and just av pepperoni on 1 half as my 1 child won’t eat meat and they refused to do it ,, y I do not know wen they have to make a whole pizza any way ,, yrs I’ve been going to this place but since new owners they refusing to do loads shame on u as a restaurant

Don't even bother with the chicken shish!! It is the driest chicken I ve ever had in all my life nearly coughed my guts up! Use sunshine or Jack's kebabs. Worst kebab I ve ever had!!

Absolutely shocking just had a delivery 2 kebabs and 1 kids kebab meat £19.50 when I opened them up there was hardly anything in them .I know cost of food has risen but this is Absolutely unacceptable phoned to complain was told 'that's the size of the potions ' !!! Won't be ordering here again 😒

Wow this was my kabab shop when I was younger. I’m so disappointed with the poor quality of food. My wife’s chicken shish was inedible and she wouldn’t even give it to the dog. The mixed kabab was not good and I had to throw half in the bin. I have not called to claim a free one next time, I just won’t go there ever again. Sorry sami you’ve lost your way

Another Friday night off from cooking, taken care of by Sunshine Kebab. Tripple burger was great with plenty of onions, and the kids shared their kebab meat and had a bite of me burger. Garlic as requested in a pot and we all ate and enjoyed what was delivered on time and still warm. Thanks.

I asked for only tomatoes on my kebab and got everything apart from tomatoes. I spent 5 minutes picking carrot and cabbage out of my food so I could eat it, and didn't get any tomatoes either, Not happy.

Great bit of grub, kids enjoyed and gave me a night off. will def order again.

First time using just eat for Sunshine as I normally go to the shop or phone directly. Pizza and kebab meat and chips is our usual order and was fantastic. Same as always never had a bad meal from there

Took 3 hours for food to turn up. And then it was cold. Use sunshine a lot normally, not usually this bad but very disappointed this evening.

Supposed to have come 8.35 I rung the store 2 hours later to be told it was with the driver waited another 25 minutes rung back to be told its now being made got to wait another 30 minutes shocking only said 60-90 online!!

Easy to order, was given an estimated delivery time was pleasantly surprised when the food arrived a hour early.

Stopped here on my way home. First kebab I took back as it was cold they appear to be cutting the meat and leaving it in the tray below (which they are not allowed to do for hygiene as the uncooked juices drip onto the cooked meat) they cut fresh meat doe me but that wasn't cooked properly and as I was in a rush it went in the bin. The portions were small for the price and even if it had been edible it would of been poor value for money compared to other Kebab shops.

Sunshine have really up the chip game. They were Less soggy stringy Fries and Crisp and perfect. pizza was great food was hot and quick delivery. Always good food

Ordered 4 x kebabs and 4 x chips. Kebabs arrived but only one portion of chips.

The chicken shish was very overcooked, looked like I was served charcoal. Could not even chew it. The two burger meals were very good though. Instructions were followed nicely.

Food was cold when I received it. Not really edible.

I have always been happy with the food great service very friendly and great prices. il definitely be ordering from here again.

I cant say much about kebab and other food, as I have only had pizza there. But staff are very friendly and the pizza are lovely, it surprised me as I have tried other pizzas in kebab shops and have been very disappointing, however the pizza here are amazing!

Before I give this review I have ordered from there before and it was ok still had the order wrong mind but food was ok. I ordered tonight and it was so bad when I opened my food it when straight in the bin,, i phoned them my salad looked 5 days old my partner found something in her food I have never put food on the bin when I ordered food this was the first time. And I waited a hour and 15 mins for it . They said on the phone they busy very busy but to me that's no reason to send food out cold and stale,, will never order from there again and they said the next one is free but still I will not take them up on that

I orderd food from Samis, not only was my order wrong but it was freezing cold, they did apologise and send out new food to me but I think they should be on top of their game

On time and hot, chicken shish wrap quarter pounder with cheese, quater pounder, chips onion rings and cheesy garlic bread. Arrived 2 mins early driver was polite. We enjoyed the food, good stuff

Kebab was ok, chips where horrible and not very tasty, requested delivery for 8.30, resteraunt pushed it to 8-55, turned up at 7-50. Resteraunt refused to do anything

All my food was wet and soggy even the sauce pot that was wrapped up was wet, the chips and nuggets had to go in the oven to crisp them back up

The actual kebabs in xl size have been much bigger And have more salad. Didnt order for a while From so its definitelly changed.
