Fabuloso lugar, ambiente súper relajante e inspirador! Personal maravillosamente soleado también .. y un desayuno absolutamente delicioso. Sin duda volveré! Encantadora ubicación justo cerca del mar, con un montón de otras tiendas y servicios independientes en esa franja también.

Desayuno perfecto a mi pedido. ¡No es un menú! Café siempre bueno. Lo visito una o dos veces por semana. Disfruta de la cocina. George Curzon.

Qué bonito lugar. El personal era encantador, especialmente Ed que fue más y más allá para mí y mi amigo hoy. Buena elección de comida y bebida. Tenga una selección de tarjetas y cuadros, etc. para la venta también.

Primera vez en el Sunshine Café con mi amigo que ha estado allí en varias ocasiones. La comida está muy bien cocinada y presentada. Personal amable y servicial. Sin duda volveré a visitarlos de nuevo!

Gran café porque no es caro. Quisiera ver más opciones de carne en el menú. Tuve conejo galés que era muy sabroso y me reuní con amigos a principios de este año. Creo que este Café es diferente a la mayoría.

Exactly what the 'bucks 'ros 'stas don't offer. A Little gem of a local cafe, welcoming staff, good coffee and good choice of breakfast. Lots of locals which added to the cosy feel.

I love this café. Delicious food, promptly served, helpful friendly staff. Reasonable prices, great light airy environment. I often go here with work colleagues, it is our favourite lunchtime café in Hove! Thanks guys for looking after us so well, every time we come in xxx

This is the sort of place you know must exist in Brighton and Hove but you have not yet found it. It is a spacious cafe using two floorspaces linked together. Tea and coffee is very reasonably priced. Food too, but we didn't have anything. There is a variety of seating available inside and out. The staff are very friendly, but naturally so, not falsely greeting you as you might get at other overpriced establishments throughout the town. Tables full of artists have been seated whenever I've visited, and provide an interesting backdrop and make this a friendly place too. If you just want to sit alone, there is a very varied range of books to read whilst you do. It is the antithesis of Starbucks, Cafe Nero, Costa and any other pretentious place that overcharges. Long may it last.

We just wanted a light lunch and it was raining - what a great find this place was! It was busy but we weren't rushed. The people working there were friendly and engaged with each other, regulars and drop-ins which told us a lot about why it was busy! The range of food options was broad enough to please most people and the price point about right I'd say. Our large bowls of soup with buttered brown bread felt good value for £5 and both were very tasty. We've told local friends about it and hope to go back there ourselves.

Lunch was fantastic a slice of cranary toasted with fresh advocado and 2 poached eggs Beautiful cooked eggs with wonderful running yokes Staff and service was amazing after finishing no rush to push you out so nice and relaxing atmosphere Will definitely be back sometime or when you open again in evening as Turkish restaurant 10/10 Keep up the good work

Everyone's food was excellent,They have 2 large rooms ,so they can accommodate a large group like ours,I will be returning.

I enjoyed my lunch here with a platter of bits and pieces. The vibe is definitely sunshine, the corner of art and shelves of books amplifies the mood of the place. The coffee was also top notch. Enjoy it even more because I can come with my dog! Will come again!

They took humble egg&cress sandwich to another level, the best one I had in a long time. Very generous filling. So good! 😋😋

Around the corner from our hotel,this place is great for coffee and a quick bite. Art covered walls and and a large selection of paperback books,make it interesting as well.Service good and always enjoy the food

I visit this café regularly for lunch, breakfast and coffee. They do the best coffee and the most nutritious, organic and fresh food. The prices are very reasonable and the staff are so attentive, lovely and friendly. (Their decaf coffee tastes no different to their regular coffee. )

Love this place! Lovely staff and food. Inside the cafe is beautiful, interesting and welcoming. Love the artwork, cards and jewellery for sale. Lovely to find a dog friendly cafe but a water bowl for the dogs would be a nice touch please.

Love coming here, they have great menu, use good quality ingredients, we love the bread. Great staff and all at a great price.

Excellent food but not sure whether it was waiter service or not, as some people were being waited on but I had to order my food inside. Not very clean outside and I had to clean my own table!! Some members of staff were a bit sullen and unfriendly. Staff could do with using a tray, as our waitress made several trips with teapot and milk, then cups and saucers and finally condiments.

Quick service and good food. The cafe is light and airy with lots of space. Portions are generous and so we shared a Sunshine breakfast which was very tasty. Although it was busy we didn't feel rushed at all. Lots of dogs but plenty of space inside and out. Didnt find the staff over friendly but when I wanted a cake with my tea I didn't have to queue again and it was brought to the table. Will go again. Found nearby parking for 2 hours for £2.50 which gave us time to walk along by the sea.

We were staying at the Best Western Princes Marine a few steps away from this brilliant cafe and went for breakfast there yesterday. I cannot fault the place - absolutely amazing with examplary service and great food. Had to be one of the best breakfasts ever. I had scrambled eggs which were absolutely perfect, with bacon and there was plenty of toast. They also have a great selection of teas and coffees. You really should go - it's amazing. I can't recommend highly enough.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely breakfast experience at Sunshine Cafe this morning whilst visiting the area. It offers good value and nice to be able to sit outside on a sunny day. Thank you!

Friendly staff, healthy food, air-conditioned inside and plenty of tables to sit outside when weather permits. Very Clean comfortable and easy & friendly surroundings. Recommended at any time with healthy lunches especially and good value. Closes at 5pm but the Turkish restaurant Sini which is connected to The Sunshine Cafe opens at 5pm for delicious evening meals and Meze.

No almorcé hoy, así que en mi camino de regreso a la oficina pensé en venir aquí para ver si preparan sándwiches para llevar (anteriormente disfruté su delicioso queso macarrones cuando comí).Salí con un sándwich de queso, ensalada y chutney.Normalmente no me molestaría en escribir una reseña, particularmente para un sándwich, ¡pero esto fue justo!El pan (granero) era suave y esponjoso y la corteza tenía un sabor encantador, el queso venía en una buena rebanada gruesa y la ensalada estaba fresca. La cantidad justa de chutney lo terminó perfectamente.¡Para los menores de 4 años estaba muy contento y disfruté mucho mi almuerzo!Sin duda recomendaría este café para comer o para llevar.

Visitamos hoy después de pasar un día y disfrutar del aspecto acogedor del lugar. La comida era deliciosa, hecha con buenos ingredientes. Hay asientos cómodos y encantadores, personal amable y alegre y muy buenos precios. Incluso compré una tarjeta de cumpleaños. ¡Ojalá hubiera vivido localmente, ya que sería mi local!

Ci sono stato per provare l'english breakfast: tutto buono(forse una fetta in più di bacon!!). Niente da aggiungere.

Lugar encantador pero mala comida. Huevos escalfados sobre cocidos. Tengo huevos de reemplazo. . . todavía sobre cocido.Tocino tan seco y nuevamente cocido. Lo suficientemente duro como para romper los dientes de mi perro.Para ser justos, se reembolsaron todos los alimentos, por lo que al menos un reconocimiento de que los alimentos eran pobres, sin embargo, el reembolso fue otorgado por el gerente sin ninguna disculpa significativa.Una verdadera lástima ya que quería que me gustara este lugar

He usado esta cafetería para el desayuno o el almuerzo regularmente desde que se mudó a la zona hace dieciocho meses. Comida bien preparada, servida con prontitud y con una sonrisa cada vez. La opción de desayuno vegetariano es muy buena, y todo tiene un precio muy razonable también. Estoy muy feliz de recomendar!

Visitó durante su estancia en la zona. Los desayunos aquí eran muy buenos, y había una cálida bienvenida en la cafetería. (También hacen comida para llevar)Mesas afuera para cuando hace calor. No muy lejos del paseo marítimo y de las salas de jengibre también está cerca.Hay varios artículos de artesanía y regalos para la venta de artistas locales, compramos una tarjeta única y encantadora hecha de flotsam y jetsam. Hay tarjetas de felicitación, pinturas, fotografías, joyas interesantes y textiles.La cafetería estaba llena, pedimos en el mostrador y no tuvimos que esperar mucho para comer y hay opciones vegetarianas disponibles. Definitivamente vale la pena una visita y parecía ser muy popular entre los clientes habituales / locales, lo que hizo que para un ambiente agradable.

Quedarse con amigos que viven a la vuelta de la esquina y decidieron entrar. Quedamos tranquilos cuando llegamos poco después de las 9 am, solo una familia con niños pequeños que desayunaban. Tomé un café y me senté a leer un rato. Hay varias obras de arte para mirar y artículos que puedes comprar. Buena selección de materiales sobre la escena artística de Brighton y Hove. Muy frío comenzó a volverse más ocupado cuando nos íbamos. Sin duda volveremos de nuevo para el café.

While living locally this was our first visit. The food and service was excellent and the prices reasonable. We went there for breakfast and a big choice was available. Some comfortable armchairs for those who don’t want to sit at a regular table.

The breakfasts here were excellent, and there was a good and comfortable atmosphere in the cafe. Came back the second day for porridge after having the full English the first day, and both were very good, and a good sized pot of tea was also provided.

This a great place for coffee or afternoon tea. The staff are very welcoming and the food is great for a light lunch, and very reasonable prices. I specially recommend the homemade hummus and pitta bread.

Loved this cafe,we had just arrived and asked someone local where was good for breakfast & this is where she recommended,so glad she did as we had breakfast here 4 out of 5 mornings,service was brilliant & all food lovely & freshly made ,place was spotless. Restaurant next door was also delicious meals.

Enjoyed a wonderful vegetarian breakfast today. Cook your eggs how you want them ; halloumi; mushrooms; beans; tomato and toast. All hot and well presented. Relaxing cafe with items for sale such as cards and jewellery. There are sofas as well as tables and chairs so great for coffee and cake as well as breakfast or lunch

Reasonably priced breakfast.. food was average poached eggs were pretty much hard boiled.. although service was good and it was a pleasant relaxed atmosphere.

Stumbled across this place seeking shelter from a storm. Don’t be put off by the steamed up windows, something to be addressed but they add to the charm of the place. A great range for either breakfast, brunch or lunch. Served at clean tables with plenty of art on the walls to enjoy or bookies on the shelves to peruse. Poached eggs were perfect which is always a good measure of the kitchen for me.

Always delicious on every occasion I've visited which is such a relief as many places just don't keep up the standard. The portions are generous, the sandwiches filled to bursting and the coffee really good. Get your loyalty card stamped each visit for a free drink on the 10th visit. I believe if you take a book along you get a free drink ??? Very comfortable sofas to relax at leisure and tables outside to enjoy the sun

Popped in here after a recommendation from a friend. Really fab great ingredients breakfast and lovely freshly squeezed orange juice. Lovely styling inside too, fresh and friendly. Would like to see if they do evening meals too as it is a lovely place to hang out.

Cheerful little cafe with reasonable prices and welcoming staff / décor, ( including books and crafts to look at or purchase) & it's close to the beach. We visit regularly for coffees, breakfasts & lunches and the food is always fresh and tasty. Good range of sandwiches and bakes such as macaroni cheese for veggies. Haven't tried the cakes but they always look good!

Popped in with the family after a swim at the local pool. Lovely welcome, 2 tables put together, high chairs provided for the toddlers, and a selection of lovely food to choose from. Perfick! Thank you

A busy little place with seating outside in the sun too. Second-hand books on sale, varied art/craft pieces and cards make it worth staying an hour or two - apart from the menu. All food is freshly prepared - I go for the hot chocolate - ssshhh!

Just get in to ask if My two kids could use The toilets, they were so friendly ! We came back 1hour later after a beach walk,

I popped into here with a friend for lunch. We both had the macaroni cheese with a salad. It was tasty and filling. The cafe was busy which is always a good sign and I will definitely go back again.

Keep coming back here for delicious breakfasts when in Brighton. Not only is the food always great but the customers all seem to know each other and are all friendly making a lovely atmosphere! Very laid back and relaxing and they even allow dogs which is brilliant.

I pop in here most days for one of their excellent coffees or quick lunch. The macaroni cheese is gorgeous! All the staff are lovely and welcoming and the atmosphere is friendly and warm. Dogs are also allowed which is a great plus.

This was the second time we have had breakfast here and it was as good as the first a Good variety to chose from well cooked and well presented in pleasant surroundings

my boyfriend & I decided to check out this café, having lived down the road and seeing it many times. the café provides a wide selection of food, of which I had pitta bread & humus, which was delicious! A selection of books, crafts, artwork and jewellery is on sale. There is seating outside and in a lovely location, amongst the ocean breeze...will definitely be visiting this little gem soon, and maybe treat myself to some ice cream next time!

This venue has very wide double opening doors with a ramp for easy disabled access. There is outside seating on the frontage bordered with pretty planting of flowers. A perfectly cooked substantial breakfast was served at a price of £6.95 seeing that the ice cream is supplied by a local farm it seemed like an opportunity not to be missed on this hot and sunny day, interesting choices were available, settled on the 'strawberries & cream' whole pieces of strawberry and very creamy, a great finish to a very satisfactory visit.

I've had breakfast here a few times and always been pleasantly surprised. A funky little cafe with local artisan crafts, jewellery and produce for sale on the sides and back. Plus secent portions, great coffee and attentive customer service.

Ate lunch in this place, a very good salad. Pleasant atmosphere and was able to work on Wifi while enjoying the food.

I have walked past this coffee shop numerous times and a few weeks ago decided to give it atry. We were 3 adults and 2 young children and getting tables can be tricky in other cafes with buggies etc takibg up too much space.

Today was my 10th visit to Kim's wonderful café. This is NOTHING like any coffee chain anywhere. Lovely spacious seating, walls covered in art from local artist and some wonderful work on display. Superb relaxed friendly service and away from the buzz of Hove and Brighton. Minutes away from Hove seafront this is a must do destination. Michel Roux Jnr recently said, 'a bacon sandwich is a bacon sandwich.' He hasn't been here. The seeded bread is one of the nicest bread's I have tasted, buttered, and the bacon is just on a different level to supermarket fodder. You will need a tissue from the counter to stop the butter dribbling down your chin. The Americano coffee is really good and if you want a breakfast treat, the 2 poached eggs with smoked salmon is to die for. Try a can of Cawstons Rhubard fizzy pop if you want a cold drink it's fabulous.This is my Saturday morning treat:-)
