Sunrise Caribbean Food Ltd in Manchester

First visit to this place and will definitely be back. The food is tasty and beautifully cooked - so good I'm still thinking about it three days later!

I love the broughton lane one more time but that moss side one is deaddd . the staff take orders over the counter whilst blasting loud (noise) wouldn’t even call it music and you can’t hear what each other are saying , had to repeat myself 3 times before the rude woman heard me . The young black girl she’s worked with sunrise for a while now and she’s got a bad bad attitude towards customers. Peppered steak is chewy 75% of time .. who wants to have to chew thru steak and I mean chew like it’s a rubbery dog toy . It should fall apart not make squeaking noises whilst chewing it between teeth 🤢.. fix up and start getting better meat from a proper butchers . Gonna stop going for a few months I think

We had yesterday quite big order, jerk chicken, oxtail, bbq stripes, bbq wings, brown stewed chicken. Every single dish tested exactly the same 🤨 That plac was highly recommended for a long time so we finally decided with few of my friends to finally try and be as amused people that recommended us this place, instead we all (6 people) are hugely disappointed 😞. Quality of food and service was good but different flavours non existing. I have experience with caribbean food, and this definitely was the worst 😫 We'll never go back and definitely won't recommended this place to anyone.

And yes it is surprisingly good and highly recommendable💪🏻! It certainly has to do with the slightly sweet and sour fragrance that goes perfectly with rice, plus the pleasantly chewy texture of the meat! I ate here with no food except jerk chicken and rice and peas because my normal carabean shop was closed. Never again as the following day I was having a very bad stomach ache and diarrhea. No star's. Martin. I have to leave a star which I shouldn't have to do but believe me it isn't worth one star

We ordered food to take away for 18 people for a family birthday. The food was FANTASTIC! The mutton was good quality. Often you find that there isn’t a lot of meat and all fat but not these guys. Family commented that often dumplings are greasy and covered in oil... not here. The dumplings disappeared fast!! We had great rice and peas, salad, coleslaw and jerk chicken. One only slight disappointment is that the jerk chicken needed more heat but it still taste good. I would recommended these guys. On top of that, we asked for the food to be ready for 12:55 and they were on time!!! They deserve the 5 out of 5 rating. Can’t wait to go back and maybe sample their patties next time.

Best Caribbean food in Salford the steak rice and steak rice and peas are a must just great products across all the menu always fresh and deliciously hot top place too get comfort food 10 out 10 stars

Sometimes you get lazy when it's time to cook but don't worry, get down to Sunrise in Salford for some real home food (Caribbean Style). There's so much to choose from stew chicken, fried chicken, fried fish, curry goat, rice & peas, dumplings (my favourite) and lots more (I've only named what I bought). This place is truly a god send. Just love this place, food and taste 5*****. Sorry no photos, I ate the food to quick 🤤😏

IF you are looking for TRUE , authentic Jamaican food, look no further. This is the only place in Manchester that can compare to mommas cooking!! Great staff, Great location. And stunning food. layers upon layers of flavours. Sunrise Caribbean Takeaway. 5 Stars

This place is amazing! Food is always fresh and tasty! The only annoying thing is if you go later at night there isn’t much left! Definitely recommend to anyone!

I didn't have the best experience the first time i came, but I love Caribbean food. So I decided to give it a second try. This time by myself. I just asked for a portion of chicken which should be £4 which I think is great value as I often try to find lunch for a fiver. When I could not make up my mind the lady said she could give me three different flavors of chicken to try, each one was good for a different reason. I am certainly glad I came back and would love to try more from the menu.

Passant régulièrement devant cette établissement pour me rendre au travail, les odeurs m'ont longtemps titiller. N'étant pas du style à garder du cash sur moi, je n'ai pas pu y gouter jusqua la fin de mon séjour d'une année. Et là, très bonne surprise, mon plat que jai deguster dans la rue car toute les places etaient occupés (uniquement 3 tables) le poulet que jai déguster fût excellent. Sans fausse note, un réel régal pour les papilles, une réelle chance et découverte de ce lieu. Seul grand défaut, le manque de place, je suis arrivé au bon moment car une foule de 10 personnes passèrent l'entrée juste apres moi, me bousculaient, prenaient ma place et me regardant d'un air voulant dire "tu nas rien a faire la".. mais mon repas me la fait presque oublier ^^ a recommandé, non en heure de pointe

Great tasting food, when I finally got some. Don't turn up here at 1830 on a Saturday evening expecting to eat, they may have run out of food. It is however worth getting down earlier and trying some of their grub. Really tasty.

Always go here when I'm in Manchester, very good and tasty food, service with a smile to, I've been to a few Caribbean places in Manchester too but this place tops the bill for me it's by far the best.

Hits the spot every time, very well prepared and authentically cooked, as the title says "it can't be beaten" for true Caribbean food.

I've been 4 or 5 times now and every time the food blows me away. I've had the Chicken Curry, Jerk Chicken and the Barbecue Chicken all with rice & peas and they've all been fantastic. My colleague has had the Pepper Beef and the Saltfish & Ackee and said they were outstanding. The Patties are also amazing.The large meals are about £7 but the small ones are £4-£5 and they are well worth it. The small portions are a very good lunch and the quality is outstanding so doesn't leave you with any fast-food hangover.Just awesome.

I had steak rise and peas and veg the best its a credit to the owner top cheff the food is fresh good staff clean and tidy

I tend to get lunch here once a week. I really recommend the goat curry and BBQ chicken bites. It can be busy at lunch time so expect 5 minute wait.

Always use this takeaway I travel from leigh about 40 minutes away just to use this shop. Good is spot on and fresh. Going to go there now
