Sunrise is beautiful. It's a little gem in the middle of chandlers ford. The food is all cooked fresh and is absolutely beautiful. The staff are all really friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant is fantastic. If you choose to dine out they offer a click and collect service. If you're a fan of Indian food and are in the chandlers ford area then sunrise is a must

Food quality was top notch.. Food was halal.

Family of 9 had a reservation on a Tuesday night. We were served quickly, the food was amazing (recommend the paneer pancake and Bengal Flame) and the staff were lovely. This is a bit of hidden gem for me as it was my first visit but certainly not my last. And we will switch our takeaways to them, too!

Love this place. Only reason for 4* on service is that they are often so busy with in-restaurant diners plus takeaway that there can be a bit of a wait...but worth it!

When I visited, there was only 1 man working in the restaurant on front counter to take orders and the orders were late, this is not good and I was left unsatisfied

Really sad about this curry, I ordered a garlic chilly chicken and asked for it to be spicy and instead I got a sweet but tasteless chicken sauce 😭. I was so excited for this curry too as I’ve not had one in months. My prawn puree tasted like it the prawns were days old…. Sad. I hope this was a rough night for them. My partner had a korma and his curry was nice. Please listen to your customers when they ask for something.

The Ceylon dishes were amazing! Highly recommended. Everything tasted so full of flavour. Really friendly staff. One of the best Indians I’ve been in for a long time.

Pleasant surroundings. Service was very slow, but in actual fact worked out well for 3 friends catching up after a very long time, creating a no rush experience. Food lovely. Not a cheap night but not bad for special occasions

They seem to be skimping on ingredients in the cost of living crisis. Watery Prawn Jalfrezi, only two chillies. 2nd bad order in a row. Won't bother in future. Chicken Tikka less meat than usual. Long wait for takeaway collection. Hairs in the Jalfrezi sauce. Customer lost.

Chicken pathia with 6 pieces of chicken smaller then a t spoon., spoke to owner and his reply was it is what it is, deal with it, wrong attitude, We KEEP U OPEN AND PAY YOUR BILLS.

Reviews looked good so thought we'd give this a go, however this turned out to be a big mistake. Delivery took an hour and half to come and part of the order was wrong. We could have forgiven this as it was a Saturday night and probably busy, however then we tried the food... Bag is came in was literally dripping with grease/oil to start with. The curries were also extremely oily and were bland with no flavour or depth what so ever! Meat in both of them was also dry and overcooked. Daal was also extremely bland and very watery. Not usually type to write reviews but felt I needed to on this occasion.

Good Asian restaurant in the area. We tried Tandoori items and they were all good. Decent quantity in the sides. Can’t complain at the same time can’t say they have many pieces in the plate. Parking: Good parking space at the back of the restaurant. Space: Not a big restaurant where it can hold 100 ppl. Decent size restaurant with good spicy food

Firstly I looked online and added my menu to the bag. Had a couple of questions so rang to place an order for which they tried to charge me £1 more I asked why and they told me it's an old menu!!????? Anyway placed the order online. Was told 45 mins picked up after 35 mins and it was cold. There was a black hair in the bag and the food tasted quite nice but there wasn't enough for two and it was swimming in what looked like water but was in fact oil. Very off putting. Also my naan was overcooked and had a burnt taste underneath. I will not be returning!!

Came here for a belated valentine's meal with the missus, service was good, great range of choices on the menu and it was all super tasty. Reasonably priced, we had a great meal. One thing to note is that there was a large group that came in halfway through and the acoustics with the covid screens meant we didn't even think about asking for the dessert menu... While the group weren't noisy, and it was fine for me, my wife found that certain conversations from the other table were beamed right at her, so we decided to leave after our main. It's likely this is an unusual situation, we'll likely go back since it was tasty :-)

Service was excellent but both of the curries we ordered (motor paneer and chicken tikka madras) taste weirdly sweet. The selling point of chicken tikka madras is it's spiciness but it tasted more like a dessert, with sugar instead of salt. Very disappointed by the food and I unfortunately will not be eating here again.

Had a lovely meal here with friend as halfway point between Basingstoke and Poole. Very tasty, nice staff and pleasant atmospher . Will come again!

Disappointed. Came here for the first time in months recently. Firstly I was not really welcomed as I came in. 4 members of staff were all chatting with one customer who seemed to be advising them on repairing something. He was obviously such a well liked customer, no other customers were really acknowledged. Eventually they took my money for my pre-ordered food. I had a chicken tikka patia... Used to be 5 star delicious here. They are either making cutbacks or they have a new chef since I was last here... The sauce was watery and lacking several ingredients. It was also very expensive. Really gone downhill on this experience. Once bitten twice shy. I won't come back.

Shopping around for a good curry, and I wasn't disappointed when I tried here. Couldn't find menu online so turned up and it was ready to go in less than 20 minutes. Tasty food. Definitely be back

Tasty food but let down by young lads trying to be waiters.

Unfortunately we never had a great experience here. Popped in for a takeaway and 30 minutes later we were still waiting. Someone whom arrived long after us started complaining and low and behold his food suddenly appeared, which just so happened consisted of all the same dishes that we had ordered. Some of our dishes where a little tough suggesting some of the meat may have been recooked during this palaver. Needless to say we won't be returning anytime soon.

Always a good meal here only dont go on friday night they are more interested in serving takeaways so takes ages to get your meal completed

The employee spat in my food, there was phlegm in my chaval, bloody penchod. Joking best restaurant it has every indian cuisine 10/10.

Consistently great food. Have been coming here regularly for years. Always have either chicken & mushroom madras or vindaloo. High quality. Really tasty. Lots of chicken. Lovely sauce. Very friendly staff. Has always been a family favourite. Highly recommended.
