Absolutely revolting, tasteless and cold and don't bother complaining because they don't care! I dread to think what their kitchen is like.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE, ordered duck pancakes, just a load of inedible fat with small bones in it. Phoned the restaurant and the woman who answered the phone was beyond rude and put the phone down on me, wasn't interested that the food was appalling

Awful. Will never use this outlet for takeaway again. Food was inedible and we complained. Staff were reluctant to provide a refund at first until I mentioned that I had taken photos of the issues and would contact the local EHA. Then I got a refund!

Might as well gone to McDonald's at least you get your food over 2 hrs still waiting little business can't cope but want your money

Normally use a different restaurant for a Chinese takeaway but thought to try this one as hot and sour soup, one of my favourite dishes was on the menu. Big mistake. All I can say is that it was hot, watery, tasteless it was thrown away. Special fried rice was soggy and mushy, flavourless and had broccoli in it. Sweet and sour sauce tasteless and watery. Chicken balls more batter than anything which was soggy and the chicken tasteless and inedible. Prawn satay tasteless and watery. Never again. After tasting the dishes, they were thrown away.complete waste of money.

Ordered a from here when it was located in fore street, always good. Now moved to cowick st- even better because they’re right by my house! Always fresh, not too much salt & oil. Most Chinese’s stick thickening agents into sauces etc but not this one. It is superb. They are aware of the wrong telephone number on google and are trying to sort it. It is their old branch number still listed.

We ordered a takeaway on New Years Day. Received hot, tasty food, delivered earlier than predicted and have no complaints!

Lesson learned to check reviews before ordering. Paid for drinks but didn't come with the order. Phone line not working. They rip off people. STAY AWAY.

We have ordered from here lots of times in the past and normally been very happy but tonight’s meal was awful. Firstly every item we ordered was stone cold - maybe the fault of delivery company, not the restaurantBut also we had beef & broccoli that had a really strong fishy taste. The batter on the sweet & sour chicken balls was limp & soggy, the chicken inside had a crunchy texture like it had been cooked from frozen but not cooked through enough. The crispy beef was not crispy, it was soggy & limp. Prawn toast was good but again stone cold. I wonder if it has recently had new staff as not the quality we used to from here. Will think twice before using them again.

Terrible quality - dripping with grease, tasteless and bland yet had the strangest burnt aftertaste. Rang to complain and was faced with an incredibly rude woman who told me ‘I do not believe you’ tried telling me how good is supposed to be; explained my partners parents owned a Chinese restaurant growing up so I am aware of how this food is supposed to taste and this was not it. Rude staff, terrible food. Will never order from here again

Had some tofu dishes that were really tasty and some fab deep fried mushrooms. Amazing taste and great to have plant based options for a good price. Would definitely come back here!

Eat here alot and would fully recommend it to anyone visiting or living in Exeter. The food was delivered on time and also you can collect.

I’ve tried a few Chinese’s from all over Exeter but this is the best one. There food is always fresh and ‘clean’, the vegetables are always fresh and vibrant in colour, the meat is from good cuts and the ratio of meat/veg is always spot on. The food doesn’t taste ‘salty’ like most Chinese’s do. I don’t order from anywhere else now. The delivery can be problematic if they’re busy (which is inevitable because the quality of food is so good), so it’s best to collect but definitely worth it.

Well what can I say-ordered food for my birthday-came minus the chips-which were to go with the sweet and sour.Rang the restaurant-staff said was delivered-I didn't like being accused of lying!!-Was told could not deliver but could have free next time-don't think so-will not be ordering from here again!!!- So unhelpful and rude!

As a family of 5 we ordered at 6pm to be told our food would be delivered at 7.30At 9pm our food still hadn’t arrived so my partner drove to the shop to collect... it still want ready. Very poor customer service, reading other reviews it appears this is common for sunrise Chinese. We won’t be ordering again, poor quality of food and customer service.

Waited 3:30 hours for food that never came, cancelled the order and refused to pick up any calls. Terrible customer service, vanishing manager?? Worst sun rise I’ve ever experienced. As useful as a glass hammer.

Instantly sick as soon as I finished eating. And I’m never sick. It tasted old and wasnt too hot but I was hungry. Never order from here!

Ordered form here every week for around 3 months. 23rd December ordered and never came, paid online tired to get my money back but they’re not interested. AVOID !!!

Ordered from just eat and must say I WASNT disappointed! Delivery time was good! Food was hot when delivered! Very tasty! On par with the Chinese takeaway I have used for years! Will defo use again!!

Terminamos haciendo pedidos desde aquí, ya que era uno de los pocos restaurantes chinos que abren los lunes. Desafortunadamente, fue la peor comida que he probado en mi vida. El rojo curry tailandés no sabía nada como el tailandés, y era sin sabor y salado. El arroz no estaba tan mal, pero un poco demasiado cocido. No hay quejas con respecto a los rollitos de primavera vegetales. El restaurante en sí es increíblemente sucio, y lo habíamos visto primero y luego no habríamos pedido desde allí. También era un poco más caro que otros lugares también.

Ordené a las 6. 30 pm, la comida debía llegar a las 7. 40 pm (solo ordené 4 artículos, 1 era una salsa y otra papas fritas) así que pensé que era una larga espera, la comida no llegó a las 8 pm, así que traté de llamarlos, sin respuesta. Hablé con solo comer, quien me dijo que la comida estaba en camino. Llegó a 8. 40 pm y todavía no hay comida. Hablé para volver a comer y ninguno de los dos pudo llegar al amanecer. Sólo comer trató de llamar al propietario, pero tampoco hay respuesta. Una chica llamó a mi timbre, así que la llamé para que la entregara a mi puerta como lo hacen normalmente, pero después de un par de minutos, bajé a la puerta y ella se había ido sin comida. Solo he comido, ahora he tenido que reembolsarme mi pedido ya que he estado esperando 3 horas en total. Peor servicio recibido desde el amanecer. He ordenado desde allí una o dos veces por semana durante mucho tiempo y nunca tuve este problema. Ahora han perdido un cliente regular. La comida es adecuada, pero se puede mejorar en cualquier otro lugar, solo pedimos ya que era el único chino que entregaría a nuestra ubicación, pero a partir de ahora, conduciré a otro chino y esperaré en lugar de ordenar desde aquí nuevamente. Usted pensaría que querrían mantener el negocio. . Los llamé y todo lo que pudieron decir fue "estábamos ocupados". ¡No acepte pedidos si no tiene la capacidad de entregar! ! ! No me ofrecieron ningún tipo de compensación ni siquiera para intentar conservar mi costumbre.No volveré a ordenar. Yo le daría 1 estrella. . . 0 estrellas.

Hasta ahora he usado Sunrise como mi comida local tres o cuatro veces en los últimos seis meses. Cada vez que la comida ha estado caliente, la comida ha llegado un poco temprano y el repartidor siempre es educado y alegre.La única razón por la que les di cuatro estrellas en lugar de cinco es que sus precios son ligeramente más altos de lo esperado, pero solo marginalmente. Incluso el cargo por entrega ha subido a 2 pero vale la pena, especialmente después de lo malo que puede ser el servicio al cliente de los clientes potenciales.Los recomiendo a cualquiera que esté buscando una sugerencia para llevar, no hay necesidad de buscar en otro lado.

Charming cheerful delivery man. But downhill once we opened food packets. It all looked the same. Even the 'Thai Green Curry' wasn't green! Rice undercooked so like small bullets. Deeply disappointing.

Everyone of my friends who ordered commented how good it is here. Best Chinese take-away in town by far.
