Very friendly staff, very reasonable prices We shall definitely be back next time we are in Scarborough

It's a great cafe which now a days is hard to come by. Super hot food, lovely service and also table games to enjoy. A definite must.

The war ended 80 years ago. There is no rationing any more. We don’t have to eat like this.

My son and i like to go for breakfast when on holiday. We tried a few places but this was by far the best. Friendly efficient staff, lovely well cooked food and games on the tables so we played draughts together. Excellent place so we didnt go anywhere else after we found this cafe.

Wonderful food, nice environment, reasonable price

Terrible experience. Only and last time to visit. Staff were bullying of my elderly father who sat at table for 2 and ordered 3 meals at counter(as I was arriving late). Staff were abrupt and made him move. Initially refused a glass of tap water for him to have tablets with meal. Refused to keep my meal warm as I was late arriving. Two staff members behaved like matrons clearing tables to usher people away/out too soon. After my farther had left, me and my brother were told that he was no longer welcome and barred him. I spoke with the proprietor and raised my concerns. I highlighted that a customer could choose to buy as many meals as they wanted and also asked where the table for 3 people was? No staff member could explain how my farther had been 'rude to staff'. Two staff members went onto 'bar' me from the cafe. I said that if they carried on barring customers in this bullying way they would not have a viable business to run. As I was walking out he shouted across at me 'get a life'. The rest of the customers were cowering in fear as they were eating as abuse was shouting from staff. Would never step foot in establishment again.

Very warm and welcoming cafe, with staff that go above a beyond always. Food is absolutely amazing and prices are by far one for the best if not the best in Scarborough.

Great food, great price, friendly service

Amazing food, spotless environment, games on tables, good prices, make your own breakfast. However the lady on counter never cracked a smile to the 20+ customers whilst we were there which was the only thing that let it down, service with a smile makes people want to return rather than a tense atmosphere that doesn't, hopefully she was just having a bad day as otherwise the place is great.

Steak pie was lovely, unfortunately the quiche was dried out and tough.

I was told any substitutions on the breakfast menu would be an extra charge. It was highly rated and recommended, but I don't like egg or mushrooms - if they would have swapped both for a slice of black pudding then I would have stayed and eaten but I left and went around the corner instead.

Unbelievable sized supreme breakfast wow. Nice staff very busy with most of the tables occupied with happy customers. Value for money although I didn't have a drink because I was heading for a coffee elsewhere shortly after. I'll definitely put Sunny's in my best breakfast list. As an avid breakfast man I can honestly say this one truly was a belly buster and seriously I have a big belly.

Quite simply it's outstanding. Home cooked perfection. The steak pie is amazing!! I've also been for breakfast which is equally as good. Then throw in the scones and cakes. During lockdown I drove a three hour round trip for takeaway and it was totally worth it. Sunny's is an excellent cafe with excellent, affordable food.

Very well presented by the hosts. Nothing too much trouble. Everything laid on, towels, soaps, tea n coffee making facilities, fancy kettle, beautiful bed, nice size room, guest lounge downstairs. Free parking included. Can't fault anything. All good. Definitely return at a later date.

I ordered here found hai in is my food to time call the owner say sorry for tha nothing I can do , this individual very rude to me not wanting to help me out evin if the war hair in the blood food

It's our go to cafe for breakfast every time we are on holiday. Love the option to build your own. Great food, great price. Just wish you were on our doorstep when we fancy a cooked breakfast.

We popped in for 2 small breakfasts with lattes ,Everything was hot and freshly prepared. Delicious 😋. We definitely be back ..

Really nice breakfast with lots of options, prices were good and the service was really nice. They have some table top games to play if you want a little extra something to do.

Faultless. 100%. Amazing. Perfectly cooked, delicious 😋. The supreme cooked breakfast is a banquet for 1. A huge amount of Perfectly cooked food, 2 sausage 2 bacon 2 eggs Beans large scoop Tinned tomatoes lots Mushrooms loads 2 Black pudding 2 hash browns 1 Fried slice 2 toast and butter I am so glad I found this place. Can't wait to return. But first I need to digest this mornings feast. Friendly staff Clean Cafe Pricing is very good considering the portion size. Thank you 😊

Extremely delicious food made fresh with little to no wait. The prices are very reasonable with a meal for 3 people being £21. We had the jacket potato, the omelette and the steak pie and all of them were really good. 10/10 recommend

Breakfast okay but they don't do drinking water to take tablets which is illegal, they charge for bottled water instead.

Exactly what you want from your local cafe ! Enjoyed a lovely breakfast here - perfectly cooked and good value for money. What more could you ask for ! Highly recommended.

Stumbled upon this cafe by accident so glad we did.Had a full English brekkie and as soon as it was put down you could see how fresh it was.Was very tasty and well worth the money would totally recommend we had one in wetherspoons the day before and there's just no comparison was even cheaper as well.

First time visiting this cafe as we’re away and my partner said its the best breakfast he’s ever had while we’ve been away, definitely be visiting again before we go home on Friday…. For the two of us breakfast cost less than £11.00

Well what can I say.the food is 10.out of 100 excepitonal.the price is well fantastically cheap..staff are so friendly.very very clean.you cannot fault this establishment.toilets are clean.tables on the outer edges of the café have board games on the tables.cards and mini.chalk boards.keep up the fantastic food.so if you're staying in a hotel or just passing I recommend you pop into this cafe that does a little more than breakfast.

Very good, found after was recommended to us. Had steak pie chips and mushy peas. Good prices, cheery staff and clean premises. Only on day visit but would come again. Tucked away but worth finding.

Cheap and cheerful a proper cafe. All food freshly made and absolutely delicious. I had the hot beef sandwich and it melted in the mouth. So good. Highly recommend

Came here yesterday and had 2 of the biggest breakfasts I’ve seen in my life and a cup of tea, the staff are friendly and the food is value for money!

Someone recommended this cafe to us and I'm so glad we went! The staff were lovely and the breakfasts were great value and soooo tasty! I had a vegetarian breakfast and it's one of the nicest ones I've had! My only issue was that the cakes looked amazing but I was too full to squeeze one in!!

Great little cafe with excellent food. We had full and suprime English breakfast and both were really tasty, especially becon and black pudding.

I would travel miles for their steak pie with mash and veg. The best. I had a side of chips to use up the tasty gravy too.

Popped in for a coffee while waiting for the bus. Good brew for a good price in nice surroundings There were some kind of kiddie games on the table, if I'd had longer I reckon I could have finished that wordsearch 😁

Lovely staff. Reasonably sized menu at good prices. Lack of atmosphere as no background music etc & felt quite stuffy as no doors/windows open so the ‘cafe smell’ sticks to your clothes.

Just been for an afternoon tea. The service from the ladies was spot on. Nothing was too much trouble. There was even little games on the table to entertain my grandchildren. The food is highly recommended. Had to bring some home in a box as there was so much. Will definately be back again .

Fabulous breakfast this lunchtime! Love that you can choose what you want from the menu. Food was delicious and piping hot.just what we needed after camping last night ☺️

Underwhelming to say the least. The food was average. I ordered a cheese and mushroom omlette and the mushroom were cut way to big and the cheese seemed more than the egg. The lady who took my order didn't seem very welcoming either.

Staff were so polite and helpful, they couldn't do enough to make sure we were alright. They were brilliant with the kids even had games on the tables for them and the food was lovely would definitely recommend A+++

Been here a few times now for breakfast and really enjoyed it. The table games are great while your waiting. Staff are always helpful and friendly and the home made cakes are amazing especially the rocky road and i think it was a blondie with jammy dodgers in it which i bought the other day to take home.

Bacon was chewy cheap sausage mushrooms not full cooked Reply Yes the breakfast was eaten but not finished The bacon was cooked but chewy The mushrooms was not cooked fully as they where chewy i had to get the train so didn't have time the fresh orange juice was not chilled

Been a "regular" at Sunny's for a few years now. One of their breakfast's will set you up for the day and all it throws at you. The staff are friendly and the prices are just as friendly to the purse. Thoroughly recommend popping in to see for yourself.

Great little cafe this , just off the main shopping street , all tables well placed out , good cleaning practice in place , breakfast was lovely and the build your own a good idea if you don't like certain foods , really good value for money and the games on the tables to keep everyone busy while you wait for your food is a great idea , will return on my next jny to Scarborough

Although Sunny’s Cafe is renowned for their hearty Full English... have you ever been lucky enough to be there when their White Rocky Road is available? If you have you are in for a treat. Discovered during Lockdown and enjoyed many times since, it is all your favourite childhood memories mixed into one slab of loveliness. A traybake like no other and with a big mug of hot tea it’s an experience you will remember.
