I haven’t been for years but was in the area today. So pleased to taste the same good quality tasty food. Like a home cooked meal but professionally put together. Also was warmly greeted and served. I asked for coleslaw and they’d just run out so they quickly made me some more and gave me a freebie for waiting. These kind of local businesses have done so well to survive so long and need to be supported. Amazing restaurant! Thank you

Food is very salty. Please try and cook with less salt. This is not the first time I noticed this . I did let it slide thinking ok the cook was having a bad day . But come on now it's every time I buy curry or stew it is so salty I can't eat it.

I came and spent £19 on 2 lovely dishes and i absolutely loved it . Full of flavour and great portion sizes . For the price and service I received I would 100% go back again to eat . 10 out of 10 .

Some of the best oxtail I’ve had in a while. The curry potato was just perfect and the chicken curry was also great. I used to get the rotis and dumplings when I was at the high school next door. 5 years later I still come here. The lady behind the counter is so sweet. I’m a Lebanese guy with a different pallet, however this place never fails to enlighten me to what good Caribbean food is

We hired sunjam for a wake and they were top drawer great customer service really friendly people but above all really tasty food we ordered rotis,curried goat rice and peas macaroni cheese plain rice vegetable curry and fried chicken all so tasty served with love all quality food do tasty i wasn’t really hungry at the time but had food later loved it definitely recommend you can’t go wrong. Lovely people who work hard to serve the community.

I just ordered a Red Pea soup and it was lacking in flavours, substance and was watery so I won't be ordering that again! I wish the owners would take note of their customers reviews and make the necessary steps needed in the New Year for this place to thrive and for customers to want to return.

Not impressed. I ordered Jerk Chicken & was given this instead which is clearly oxtail. I notified the shop and they advised that this is their chicken apparently.

Genuinely really disappointed and feel as if I’ve been scammed. The amount of oxtail in the portion of oxtail and rice and peas is so pathetic it genuinely makes me angry. There’s a marginal amount of oxtail and underneath that amount there is still rice. Putting unseasoned cabbage on top doesn’t make that any better. The rice and peas doesn’t even look or taste right down to the type of rice they’ve even used. It’s like they only care about profit and not the customer at all and it shows by the food I received today. I’ve heard family say they go here for rotis and so hope thats better but what I ordered I genuinely feel as if I’ve been scammed or deceived. I was looking forward to eating this after a long day only to find that the portion of the actual oxtail isn’t even large enough to satiate my hunger at all. As I write this review I’m literally sitting here trying to wrap my mind around how someone can portion out pretty much 2 tablespoons of oxtail and charge someone for that and think it’s ok. 😂

Best Beef patties, truly homemade and delicious taste. People complaining about portions are wrong in my opinion. Easily enough food for 1person and very reasonable prices. Service is also friendly and polite! Great place for a quick lunch or takeaway

Went to this place on 20th May 2023. Placed an order for oxtails with rice and peas and curry goat with rice and peas. Three beef patties and two Gunness punch. Oxtails absolutely disappointed to find it dry tasteless the rice and peas was not rice and peas more like jollof rice and peas. Curry goat was pretty much the same tasteless. The patties was very, very dry. This restaurant has gone down in ratings within providing decent cooked meals to enjoy , now it's not worth attending or wasting your money on. I am so disappointed as i haven't been here in a few year's and back then the food was decent. I was looking forward to a nice meal however I had no choice but to throw it away( the taste was so bad). I wouldn't recommend this place however everyone is different. Never again for me .

Ordered some curry goat and chicken curry. Daylight robbery. Each portion was specifically designed for a child. Yes, a child's portion. Absolutely ridiculous and overpriced for the child's portion. The flavours was okay. I've tasted better. Mass production cooking. Gravy was watery, not so flavoursome but peppery. All I can say, if you're looking for a spicy child's portion, its the place to go.

Avoid at all costs! Very rude customer service. No hospitality and there is a button you click to get the women’s attention which is awful!

When I'm in Greenford I like to buy patties.on this occasions on 6.1.23 I bought 4 patties 2 for me and 2 for my daughter. We where both food poisoned it was awful we were both on toilet for 3 days. Never again !! 12.01.23

The food and the hospitality in store was great. It’s not a fancy big store - rather, a very cosy small take away spot. But the experience made it exceptional. The owner (Lyn) was one of the sweetest person we’ve met so far! Definitely going back for more - not only for the food but for the hospitality and conversations which made it a lovely lunch!

Will never go Sunjam again… Rude staff This is somewhere we go regular and support our community. Today big disappointment with them the owner very rude to my daughter refused to use the card machine which they have as I’ve used before. Said oh well if you don’t have enough cash then go elsewhere. Why have a card machine and refuse to use it especially in these times we living in. This is not how to treat your loyal customers being rude and because she see a child she thinks it’s ok to be disrespectful. I will never spend my hard earned cash in sunjam again. The food is ok nothing special but as I want to support our community chose to support them but no more.

The nicest lady I ever met she’s very welcoming and the food is always delicious and good portions. Been coming here for years never disappoints and always tastes the same !!!

At first my order was accidentally given to someone else , then I decided to open my container to see the food where I was greeted with two long strands of hair. The lady become very confrontational,absolutely terrible hygiene and customer service.

I am a long standing customer of Sunjam. They have authentic caribbean food, they have catered for my mothers wedding, my grans funeral, my stepfathers 60th birthday and many more events. They are efficiant, respectful and generous. The ladies that work there are so kind, so loving and you can tell they put love into what they do. Including the owner. They are very loyal and I recommend them more. The food is to die for. Thank you xx

I am a long-standing customer of this shop. The food is excellent , however , the Jamaican lady is rude and has very poor customer service - it is stereotypical almost laughable and makes me embarrassed to be Caribbean .When she is in the shop it reminds me of why Good Caribbean food shops like hers aren’t as successful as rubbish establishments like Turtle Bay. Also the portions are Tiny ...I paid £7.50 for a roti and it’s barely filled me up lol Whenever I go to the shop I dread to see that it’s her serving , my heart actually sinks . In future if I see her serving I will not go.

Fantastic food and great service. Sun Jams have catered for us for two parties, just had my 50th and it’s great to know that the food and catering is taken care of. Fried fish, curry goat, rice and peas, fried dumplings, coleslaw and salad. Would go out of my way for their Oxtail it’s just so delicious. All tastes amazing. Guests loved the food and always ask where it was from. Really good value too. Always on time, they set up and you have the option of the food being served which we always use. Very professional and polite. would happily recommend to anyone needing an event catered for.

Roti's to die for! Absolutely tasty and generously filled roti. Excellent priced. I haven't tried anything else in their varied menu. Friendly staff. Small and clean on site dining area.

My favourite Carribean spot in London. Better than Brown Eagle in tottenham! Food is delicious every time. Me and my husband usually eat in as the portion sizes are bigger compared to when you order take away, and we usually come atleast once a month. The cheesy beef patties are our favourite! But like i said, everything on the menu is delicious.

Roti wraps. My goodness! I visit London from Swindon on occasion, and I can't return without ordering a bunch of these to take back with me for the family. We had them for tea tonight, and I wish I'd bought more back with me so I had some for supper and tomorrow's breakfast too. So so so good. 😍❤️🙏

Google maps said I was here but I never have been. I give this place 4 star's because it is probably very good. I give Google maps half a star for being as useful as nappies on a dog.

Family run business...own very friendly. Staff very polite. I have been going since they opened. Highly recommended if you want authentic jamacian food. Keeps me going back time n time again.

Went to a play in Greenford on Saturday with my mum. We wanted somewhere to eat afterwards and I noticed Sunjam on Google Maps. As we both like Caribbean food, I called up. It was open, so we went along. Am I glad we did! The food - jerk chicken and ackee & saltfish - was very nice. Tasted homecooked plus the jerk sauce had a sweetness, which I like. The lady that served us was very pleasant, explaining they had been in business for, I think, nearly 17 years. Excellent experience overall. Now I just need to engineer some more trips to Greenford.

I love this place, it's authentic they have great cus toner service and the prices are good. My favourite order is a fried dumpling with akhee and saltfish and soursop juice 😋

Love the food very very good avant say enough as with any place avoid early hours as you stand a chance of getting stale or one day old roti skin
