Sundarban Tandoori Restaurant in Ealing

Been eating at Sundarban over the years. Never fails to produce good food and lovely friendly and efficient staff. Thought we'd try their Elvis night. We arrived early as didn't want to eat late and it worked well. As for Elvis.... Don't expect anything but a good laugh and songs you know.

The Sundarban’s been my go-to curry house for ten years but I hadn’t been for a while so it was a great relief that it’s still excellent. Tasty, fresh and different food, attentive service, reasonable prices. I’ll be back sooner next time.

I visited the Sundanan with my husband my daughter and my mother-in-law I was extremely disappointed in the food I had to send my main course back I ordered a butter chicken when it arrived it looked and tasted like a korma chicken which I could not eat, everything else was very bland too, when it came to paying my husband produced his taste card it was a Sunday 6th of November. The manager said we don’t take those anymore i said it’s on the tastecard website no we told them to take us off he would not honour the fact they were still on there he brought the bill and put some little chocolate mints which were wrapped when we opened them they were off . all in all we had a very unpleasant experience and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone

We had a delightful evening. The staff were very professional and friendly and the food was excellent. I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.

Came here after watching England at Wembley, what a great little restaurant this is, staff extreamley welcoming, polite and couldn't do enough for us, nice little machine on the table where you cab press the button to get the waiters attention (even though I felt a bit rude pressing it) Starters where superb lamb chops came out sizzling fresh and tender melted in your mouth, onion bhajis and somosas equally nice and fresh, lovely minced coconut chutney was also a nice touch, curries where lovely I had king prawn madras which was nice and spicy and my partner had lamb tika massala also very good nice and sweet, overall fantastic night also was given a free bailys at the end and given some coconut chutney to take home next time we go down south we will defo be making another visit here.

The staff, especially a huge shout out to Shane, were excellent. Knowledge of all ingredients and very much able to cater for allergies. Food was amazing and flavoursome. Naans were fluffy. and they have kept their prices to pre covid where all other restaurants in the area have gone so high. Very child friendly and accommodating in every way.

My friends and I visited the restaurant for the first time for a post Covid-19 catch up on Saturday. We were warmly welcomed and escorted to our table. I was impressed by the bright and warm decor and friendly staff. The food and drinks choice was extensive and great value for money. I particularly enjoyed the lamb biryanie and garlic nan. Overall great food, service and value. We will be back soon.

I regularly go to Sundarban and I must say this is one of the best Indian restaurants. I love it! The atmosphere is nice, the staff are really friendly and the food is AMAZING!! I have tried a few different dishes and I love them all. The quality of the food is always good too! I definitely recommend going to this restaurant. You will definitely have a good meal.

A bit far away now for us as we now live in Hatch End. Still very good if you want the standard Bangladeshi fare. Great prices, good service.

Visited this restaurant recently for a reception. Terrific service from all the staff and the food is great. Will visit again when next in London.

It was a family dinner there. Our plan was to dine elsewhere but waiting time was over the top. So my brother found this place online. I have to be honest that I was not sure about the quality but the restaurant manage to surprise me with its food. Real Bangladeshi restaurant and food is like homemade food. I'll got to this restaurant without a word.

By far the best Indian restaurant in London. How lucky are we by living just up the road from it! Our regular Friday night treat .

I was there with my client after meeting. The restaurant is wow factor. Service was fantastic. I will visit this Restaurant again very soon.

Service here was really sweet. the food was tasty, and cooked to perfection. Lots in a portion and loads on the menu for choice! Never knew this place existed but I am glad I found it as not many good Indian places around ... hidden in corners of Sudbury! Def return :)

We used to be regulars here and then we moved. We ate here with some friends and really enjoyed the food. We have not been for a long while but we will come back again.

Amazing food to good to be true and wonderful staff and they are always friendly. I recommend the chick tikka masala and the chicken tandoori.

Los amados y yo hemos estado yendo aquí por más de 20 años (no se lo digas a la mujer ... jaja) y nunca me ha decepcionado. Siempre recibidos con una sonrisa (creo que es algo que ponen en el agua!) y las nuevas instalaciones han hecho de ella un lugar mejor para visitar; el sistema de iluminación es entretenido y relajante y ha añadido al ambiente.

Buena comida para una celebración de cumpleaños.pilau de arroz muy agradable y mi cordero al curry era muy sabrosa.excelente samosas y sizzling pollo.lo recomiendo, tuvimos que esperar un poco para nuestra mesa, pero la comida estaba muy bien.

Quiet Tuesday evening in Greenford and a couple were having a quiet meal out found their restaurant invaded by twelve ancient cricketers celebrating a unlikely first victory after 4 years. The restaurant coped well and was sensibly priced , good range I had fish which was ok, liked the Mutter Paneer . Everybody had a good evening , not sure about the couple!

Booked in on a Saturday night and waited nearly an hour for our table.They did have two big party's in but obviously couldn't cope with the amount of people and over booked,as well as probably taking too many take out orders.When the food turned up was amazing and service was great.Next time down in London visiting friends we will go back to give a second chance as again food and service after we got table was great.

We stumbled upon this place after asking a taxi driver if he'd find us and Indian restaurant on the way from Wembley to The Bridge Hotel in Greenford (reviewed separately) and boy were we glad to have discovered it.It looks a notch above most other Indian restaurants once you're inside with an attractive bar area and welcoming seating arrangement. That's, of course, no good unless the food can match it and I can categorically give it a massive thumbs up. I'm into the really hot stuff and I always like to see the Phal option on the menu and it is on their menu. The problem is with really hot dishes is they can be tasteless and just too hot. Rarely do you find one of real quality where the mix of heat and taste is perfect but this place absolutely nailed it.The less brave also agreed that their meals were also top notch, (two Jalfrezis and a Balti, for the record ;-)). Our meals were preceded by fantastic starters too. Drinks were very reasonably priced, a pint of Carlsberg for less than £3 in 0208 land that isn't from Wetherspoon's is most unusual.There were devices on the tables for calling the waiter for service and that was a quirky and effective touch. The staff were fantastic. We must have had four of five different lads serving us, all smiling and pleasant and some pretty authoritarian when it comes to debate about football! Great staff, real credit to them.Probably the best Phal I've ever had and the rest of my party unanimously agree with a five star rating for this restaurant.

Great Indian restaurant, we eat here a lot and get takeaways and it is always good value. They are always putting on shows on Saturdays and the staff are very friendly. The food is the best and always good and hot. It is very clean and the manager is always welcoming.

My first time being at the restaurant, the vibe I've been getting was so nice. The place was very atmospheric. Definitely a good place to bring family and friends for their delicious curry. Its first class customer service with first class food. Upon entrance the waiter would greet you with a smile. On our table we had a waiter calling service. With a touch of a button, the waiter would be with you in no seconds. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a good curry and in a nice clean and friendly place.
