Sunbury Take Away Chinese Food in Spelthorne

First time getting a takeaway (delivery) from New Sunbury. The food arrived bang on time and was absolutely delicious and tasty. Will definitely use New Sunbury again!

This is my favourite Chinese Takeaway in Sunbury. Its not dine in, but takeaway and in my opinion fantastic. I always seem to get a friendly voice on the end of the phone and although I am always told it will be 45mins for delivery, the driver always has turned up early. The menus extensive, but my pet favourite with anything I choose is their Egg Fried Rice. It just seems to taste better then anywhere else I've tried. It also brings back a memory. Me as a toddler being fed egg fried rice with sweet and sour sauce by my Dad as he didn't know how to cook when my mum was in the delivery room giving birth to my sister. Classic, classic male behaviour straight from the 1970's...!

We tried New Sunbury Chinese takeaway for the first time after their menu came through our door. The chow mein and dry spare ribs were ok to be fair, but the pork chop suey and crispy shredded chilli beef were very disappointing. Both had the same incredibly sugary sauce which made the dishes inedible. We know Chinese food tends to be mostly fried and sweetish but this was the extreme. We couldn't see any beef in the shredded chilli beef so we assumed it was a ready made frozen produce just deep fried. Also no cheery/ friendly communication when I collected the food. The staff and food just didn't make us want to go there again.

We have had food delivered from here a few times now, the process is fast and efficient and service is excellent. Speedy delivery, hot, fresh and delicious meals and never any mistakes or problems. The best Chinese takeaways we’ve had, thoroughly recommend.

Lovely food , freshly delivered , but the delivery charges , suddenly applied are just too top heavy for a take away delivery. Better options elsewhere.

We dont often get takeaway but usually go to Lemon House if we do have a Chinese, but this was recommended by a friend and wow, we absolutely loved it and will be back! Their noodles were amazing. Their chicken balls were huge and so so good, not greasy at all. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Piping hot, fresh and fast delivery. Thanks!

Just used this place for the first time and I was amazed at the speed of delivery, quantity of the food and most importantly the quality of the food. Certainly the best delivery Chinese I have ever had. I can’t wait to try some other dishes off the menu, but can strongly recommend the Singapore Chowmein 👍

We usually go for a different Chinese but this was recommended by a friend and they didn’t disappoint. Very good quality, very good taste, very quick at fulfilling our order, and the prawn roasts in particular were excellent. Enough to make us consider this next time we want a chinese

When most take away business are a let down ie most fish and chip shops are inedible at best imo .New Sunbury Chinese are well worth a go, we found the food exceptional in a take away narrative, well worth the money and the experience

Following recommendations on local social media, we gave this takeaway a try and have now enjoyed several deliveries from them. It is actually now called the New Sunbury Chinese. Ordering and paying on their website is really easy and it remembers your previous orders, which is handy. Delivery isn’t of course instant but it does come well within the wait time advised when you order, and the delivery drivers are very pleasant. Hubby always has dumplings and duck, and is very happy with these, and for me as a vegetarian there is a huge amount of choice so I’m having a different thing each time and working my way through everything on the menu! I’ve been extremely happy with all my choices so far. Also reasonably priced. A regular treat for us now.

This takeaway is absolutely amazing... we just had a mixture of dishes and it was better than most restaurants in the area! Seriously you must try it .. you won’t be disappointed... Will be our takeaway from now on👍

Had a lovely takeaway from this establishment. I believe it has just been taken over by new management.We had Lemon Chicken,BBQ Spare ribs, King Prawn Chow Mein. Delicious.

Stayed nearby and tried this takeaway for the first time. Ordered a Hong Kong style special fried rice, and a beef & onion. They were very good, even better than many Chinese restaurants.

This is our local Chinese takeaway and we are always pleased with the quality and price. The staff are always helpful and cheerful, nothing seems to be too much trouble and my partner is really fussy so that's a huge help !

This is my local Chinese takeaway. I love coming here even got a few dotted around me. I had Sweet & sour King Prawns Hong Kong Style with extra sauce & Mushroom Fried Rice. I didn't wait long & really very yummy. Packing outside row of shops. Would recommend.

I have been here before, but only do take away's. Good choice on the menu. Didn't take long to wait, seats to sit down & papers to read while you wait. Off street parking outside. Very friendly staff, think its a family run place & come from Honk Kong. I had Sweet & sour King prawns Hong Kong style with Pineapple & chicken fried rice, pipping hot & very yummy indeed. I tried to put the hours that they open on site, but didn't work. Opening hours are: Monday & Bank Holidays 5-10pm Tuesday-Saturday 12 noon-2pm & 5-10pm Sundays Closed They welcome telephone orders & do large parties. They do allergy advice too. They do cash, cards & all prices include VAT. Would recommend.
