Great place to get food .Curry very good.

I found this amazing take away restaurant by chance. I was extremely impressed with the quality of their food, very delicious. The customer service was excellent too. I will surely be a regular customer.

Great place to get food, we really challenged them and had a massive order. Two huge boxes. And they done fantastic. Didn't forget a thing, and we even think they added a little extra. Highly recommend

Curry seemed watered down it was tasteless ,very poor all round ,would not return . Extremely poor value for money

Chicken curry plus chips, beef curry plus chips, with sweet and sour chicken balls. The curries had very little taste for both styles, very little chicken and not much beef in the sauce, no other veg other than onions too, the sweet and sour very little flavour to this sauce too. Chips were chunky and nice Very disappointed, hot meal as we ordered and speedily served to us.

Things have really gone downhill at the Sun Wah. Lemon chicken, the batter was soggy, the chicken cold, clearly it was cooked and frozen and then reheated on a busy Friday night. Shame as it used to be the best in town.

Still good but not like it used to be Jimmy's curry used to be good chunks of fresh chicken , chips were to die for and his pancake rolls were awesome, its a shame they didn't keep to the same.

Just had the very best lemon chicken with rice I’ve ever had! Hot, moist & absolutely delicious & delivered by a very polite driver, Thankyou, ordered, paid & delivered all in 25 mins flat. 5*

All 6 dishes were excellent. This was one of the best Chinese meals that we have ever had. We are looking forward to our next meal from there.

Standards did slip I agree with a previous review however had one the other day and wow wow wow just like it was in the 1990's / 2000s. Did the chef come back from traveling or did Jimmy pop in... It was out this WORLD just like it always used to be. I can't wait to come back

What a waste of my time first they got my order wrong and then said I didn't order it I didn't mind paying the over priced food even though I can get it 5 pounds cheaper else where then to top it off I have need beef in black bean source in different Chinese and never had my mouth burned so much from what ever spices they used never again would I use these don't recommend anyone too then to top of off I ring up and who ever answered phone was quiet happy to lose a customer than to fix the problem not happy 1 but

I've lived in littlehampton just 3 months i have tried 5 chinease and sun wah is the best .quick hot nice food never been disappointed with sun wah highly recommended thankyou .

We used to get our Chinese food from here as a weekly treat but unfortunately the standard dropped so stopped going. Returned a year or so later & am sorry to say it is even worse! I had special chowmein which had hardly any meat & vegetables compared to past vists & the prawns had an off taste ! I wish I'd gone elsewhere because simply didn't enjoy it! So will not be returning am afraid.

Used to be beautiful, forever. However, now the noodles are wet & tastless and the currys are FULL of onions

They brought the beef back to normal hooray !!!!!! Last Sun Wah of the year before the diet. Huuuuge gut bash and it was blooming awesome as always. The chicken balls and curry is always a winner. My other half really enjoyed the chow mein

Lovely as always I adore sun wah. But I have to say they've changed their beef supplier and I'm not the only one to notice. Used to be proper roast beef in their dishes. Now wobbly slimey jelly like beef like every other Chinese out there to save money as it's so processed. Jimmy the old owner would be devastated as it is what separated sun wah to be better than all the rest. Please go back to the old beef please don't follow the others :(

Well worth waiting for !! Just had the best chips EVER and enjoyed a prawn chicken and beansprout meal - lovely!!! Go back again -thi k it was no77 but check !!!!!!!! Highly recommend!!! Give it a go .

Great Food, highly recommend, especially their Chips, and yes I know its a Chinese, but a curry with chips (which are big wedges of potato) can't be beaten.

Four years on since my last review - it just stays at the upmost quality and quantity. Superb tasting food, will no go anywhere else. The curry is still Chinese curry number one. They are still HEAVING on a friday night and the wait is fine. This is my go to when i need comfort food.

I've been a customer of this restaurant for years but yesterday I had my favourite noodle dish which normally has big different chunks of meat & prawns but this time I found it difficult to even find anything other than prawns and bean sprouts! Very disappointed!

Wow whats happened to sun wah used to go here lots a few years ago popped in tonight as our local chinese is closed and what a mistake that was had basic chicken chow main and a pork chow main portions were good size but what one was what we couldnt decide meat looked the same was completly tastless 2 uneaten meals ordered sides aswel bit better than the mains but still had to smother in the sauces to get any kind of flavour shant be going back there thats for sure.

The best Chinese takeaway in Littlehampton when Jimmy owned it. Nowadays pretty run of the mill. Still yummy food but not as it was in it's heyday.

Very disappointed, ordered a chicken curry the sauce was like water, egg fried rice was salty, bbq ribs were salty and fatty. That's the second time I've had a bad meal from there will not be going back there disgusting..

The food here is delicious especially the special fried rice and crispy shredded beef. You can also never go wrong with the curry sauce. We have ordered here for over 20 years and no where else compares.

The Menu is a standard Chinese Takeaway that we have used several times. Delivery as promised and always hot and reasonable value. Would be better without the huge bag of free Prawn Crackers!!!!

You always know what you get from the Sun Wah plenty of food for the money but the quality has dropped over the last couple years in my opinion, always polite and good service.

Decidimos llevar chino para mi cumpleaños para 9 personas y nuestro siempre estaba cerrado, así que pensamos en probar sol Wah que hace años he usado mucho y fue muy bueno. No utilizamos por años, así que esperaba que fuera muy bien y nos registramos su clasificación, que era de 5, así que seguimos adelante. Pedimos una mezcla de comidas y me dijeron que 20 minutos, lo cual me pareció que fue rápido para 9 comidas además de unos cuantos extras. De todos modos cuando lo conseguimos casa parecía horrible y poco apetecible y de hecho no pudimos comer algunas de las comidas ya que sabía horrible. Mi pollo y un montón de setas estaban bien, pero el zumo era como agua marrón con un toque de salsa de soja para dar sabor. Otra comida de carne era como si hubiese sido huevos duros y el sol Wah especial Chow Meins salió en un nudo sólido como un ladrillo y los fideos eran muy gruesos mientras que los fideos de Chow mein suelen ser muy finas. Me dejó mucho que afortunadamente fue dustbin día la mañana siguiente y, por supuesto, costó casi 90 libras. No puedo creer lo terrible que era especialmente cuando se usa tan bueno cuando "Jimmy" estaba allí. Un lugar para evitar en el futuro!

Never Ho hungry with the geneorous portions you receive. Would recommend anyone who hasnt tried them already to give Sun Wah a go.

Great duck and pancakes also love the Singapore rice/noodles...ask for "extra spicy" if you like it hot!...keep going back and there are plenty of other Chinese takeaways in Littlehampton so they must be doing something right!

Ordered over £60 worth of food last night and was told a 50 mins wait will occur, my daughter went to collect the food and she was told they had run out of Spring rolls (we had ordered 3 portions) so after after while on the phone we ordered an alternative. The overall amount of food was not to feed everyone. Very poor service and value for money

After a disastrous attempt at getting a Chinese delivered by the inept Great Wall (see review)I decided to pick up one from the sun wah,I'm so glad I did the food was perfectly cooked with perfect taste quick and efficient.What it also did was made me realise that what I thought was adequate before certainly was not,having relied on delivery ones for so long due to convenience I had forgotten how good the others were the sun wah being a perfect example of this not only was it perfect in taste the price was good and the portions larger than delivery ones.Will without doubt be using again.

I love this place. Whenever I come home to littlehampton this is a must. Pancake rolls are massive, chips and curry sauce yum, beef and tomatoes lovely.

This is by far the best Chinese takeaway West Sussex has to offer, friendly staff who always remember you by name, fast cooking time and exquisite food. My Granddad gave me my first meal from here when I was just 2, at 24 I wont go anywhere else for an extra hot King Prawn / Beef Curry and fried rice. Huge prawns and lots of them, lovely beef not like some Chinese places where the beef can be slimy, this is proper beef. Never tasted a chinese curry recipe quite like this one always top notch. Sweet and sour Chicken in batter is amazing crispy tasty and huge. Special chow mein is a must, also the spare ribs are like half a cow. It wont be disappointing!

What a great find! On holiday locally and have had two takeaways from this Chinese. We're from London so have quite a few takeaways to choose from at home. None of them come close to the quality of food at Sun Wah. Huge portions and absolutely delicious food. It's really top quality. We will be ordering again before we leave. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Despite the departure of the fantastic Jim, this is still an outstanding Chinese Take Away. Go and try it yourself.
