We always order at this cafe, food is so tasty and always comes to the workplace quick. the staff members that man the phones are rude, when asking Karen about an order she past the phone to Shelia who started arguing and laughing down the phone, instead of going back and fourth all Shelia had to do was send me a jacket potato with cheese and beans because WHAT person in their mind would pay £8 for just cheese and beans, so to Shelia, learn some customer service cheers :)

Enjoyed visiting Sun Cafe for a Saturday morning Full English. Plenty of food. Wished the beans had been served in a dish or something, but otherwise very good. Good service ££

I was passing by this little cafe one morning. I wanted to buy a bacon sandwich which was full of fat and greasy, I put all in the bin.

Having just spent three long hours travelling to London by car and only 12 minutes at the Russian Visa Centre to get processed, we needed something to eat and drink fast! Just round the corner and the first place we looked at was this unassuming cafe. What a busy, cheerful little eaterie. We had two very good meals, well presented and prepared, and a lovely cup of tea and coffee. The team at this particular place would outshine many more upmarket restaurants I have eaten in.

Chanced on this café / takeaway at lunchtime and it turned out to be an excellent choice. Good and varied (by country & type) menu & excellent food. There are a good number of tables which are apart from the takeaway section. Very pleasant waitress and everything done to make us welcome and enjoy our meal. Cost for four of us: meal & tea/coffee around £25. A bargain.

Out I went, for a thoroughly intense knees-up with Janto, Chunger and Big Mervyn. After drowning our sorrows with Big Merv’s inheritance from his deid Mam, and ingesting some lighter fluid avec workerman’s glue, we headed to The Joker for a knees up. First in, Chunger got in the pints which were all exceedingly tasty and helped wash down the acrid tang of glue at the back of my throat. It was only after Janto repeatedly and brazenly kept impersonating a couple on a date next to us, by doing the young man’s lovely, soft posh accent that things really got funny. ‘WHAT IS SO FUNNY?’ He boomed. ‘Please let’s just leave, these men are savages and I think they’re on something, they’re out of their heads!’ said his date. We laughed some more and Merv said, too right, we’re out of our heads on good times, and also a heavy dose of my deid Ma’s dosh. ‘You sick freaks’ intoned the gent. ‘You think you’re so funny!’ It was then that Chunger stood up and roared with the strength of a hurricane into his own pint glass - ‘I AM TRYING TO HAVE A LAUGH. MY FATHER WAS NOT VERY NICE TO ME’ We fell about the floor laughing and ordering more pints which flowed as fast as the beautiful currents of the Arno. Things became decidedly ugly when I took a gulp of the young gent’s gravy which was on his plate, but Big Mervyn settled accounts by leaning on the man’s shoulder and whispering a few sweet nothings. Overall, I had a cracking night and the craic was 90 as we Ho Ho Ho’d all the way home with the young couple’s umbrella which they very kindly gave to us, as well as £50, which was very generous.
