I love Twiga in Monte-Carlo that’s the place where I always go with my Friends. So I decided to try out one in London, I would give it 7/10 because the restaurant and the bar itself is small, in the wine list there are not so many choices if you will compare it with Monaco one

Ok so I've been to most popular London restaurants and I always end up feeling like it was ok nothing to write home about, however this was very different. I originally had a booking during the lockdown period so the Resturant called me the day before the lockdown to reschedule my reservation. At the time I thought look at these greedy people trying to get me booked in ASAP to get my money lol. well I have to say boy was I wrong. upon arrival there was a long queue and I had already told mysel that they are going to be rude and arrogant again boy was I wrong. The security men are the nicest I have ever experienced helpful respectful and polite. Then there is Suki the hostess with the mostess she honestly went above and beyond to accommodate my group. Our table was perfect the every single waiter and waitress was so delightful and there if a floor manager who has such a lovely energy he even gave me a large free bottle of water as I had already paid my bill and was still enjoying the evening. The food was delicious and such great value for money, not to mention we didn't have to wait a million years for it arrive. I had the chicken and vegetable rice yummy. Even the lady in the bathrooms was nice. I just can't fault this place, did I mention you can park right outside on a single yellow after 6.30. I would highly recommend it. Resturant of the year for me in fact id go as far as so say that all things considered this is the best Resturant I have ever been to in my life anywhere in the world. Whilst the food isn't Michelin Star it was delicious and the service was exquisite I could go on and on but honestly go check it out for yourself, you won't be disappointed I promise. lots of love and Corona free kisses Chantall

When I visited SumosanTwiga, I was reluctant to go in as it was very busy and I didn't want to wait long for food but considering the restaurant was packed, everything came very quickly. The sushi was some of the best I've tried and the contrast between Italian and Japanese food worked surprisingy well.The music and dancing created an amazing atmosphere adding to the whole experience.Will definitely visit again.

We visited Sumosan Twiga last night me and my husband! For my birthday. The door team were very welcoming. We ordered from both Italian and Japanese food. I can tell that the price is absolutely suitable to the high quality of food. Especially the Paccheri with Lobster and the Wagyu. The service was perfect and the manager took care of us. The atmosphere is one of the best ones I have ever seen in London after COVID-19. I have visited the restaurant before COVID with friends and we though it was only for big groups and parties. After the experience of yesterday I totally changed my mind. The atmosphere is great even for couples or families and during the week days as well. I will definitely come back soon.

Visitamos el 17/10 para el cumpleaños de mi pareja, inicialmente estaba muy descontento con la elección de la mesa, considerando que era un cumpleaños, casi me sentí como si estuviera en una fiesta infantil con una mesa baja. Sin embargo, después de hablar con un miembro del equipo, pronto nos trasladaron a otro asiento en otro piso y esto hizo que nuestra experiencia fuera mucho mejor. La comida era increíble y el ambiente vibrante. Sin duda recomendaría el entrante de patas de cangrejo y el principal de bacalao negro. Los cócteles eran muy agradables y definitivamente vale la pena el precio. Definitivamente visitaría de nuevo y definitivamente lo recomendaría. Ojalá tuviera el nombre de los miembros del personal, fue extremadamente atento y brindó un excelente nivel de servicio al cliente. ¡Definitivamente una joya de Londres!

Cené en sumosan twiga el sábado pasado por el cumpleaños de mi esposa. Puedo decir que una comida de muy alta calidad tanto italiana como japonesa, especialmente el cangrejo real y la carne wagyu. El servicio fue profesional y la camarera fue muy servicial. El ambiente era tranquilo y se convirtió en una fiesta especialmente que sorprendieron a mi esposa con los destellos en la parte superior del postre. Es una experiencia increíble y definitivamente regresaré.

Я отказалась и заказала бокал Ruinard. Принесли бокал из бара уже ( не при мне наливали), а там вообще нет пузырьков. Оказалась бутылку открыли 2-3 дня назад. Пришлось и этот бокал отправить обратно. Следующий наливали из новой бутылки и в моем присутствии)). Начало вечера не задалось сразу. Никаких извинений, комплиментов...., ничего. Первую закуску принесли только 1 человеку, не всем сразу, что странно для ресторана такого уровня. Потом носили все по готовности. Не понравилась еда: много соли, масла, жира, перца. Мнение такое про кухню и официантов:::: им абсолютно пофиг на гостей. У них аншлаг, гостей полно в любой день недели и они вообще не стараются. Чтобы вы понимали уровень готовки, расскажу про десерт ещё. Фондан принесли холодным через 5-7 мин после заказа ( хотя в меню написано, что готовится он не меньше 20 мин). То есть Ничего под вас там не готовят и не пекут. Фондан был накрыт куполом из сахара, который ( по идее должны растопить тёплым ликером или горячим шоколадом))), но нам предложили просто разбить его ложкой. Есть потом фондан было невозможно из-за острых осколков сахара. Вообщем, полная хрень, а не ресторан. Не уважают там гостей.

I don’t recommend this venue to anyone who has high standards on client experience. This venue needs a lot of training on good customer service especially at the security and reception. The restaurant service was excellent!! For a good night out and Itaian food, I would advise you try Novikov or Nobu Mayfair. Excellent see at the door to the reception and restaurant. Good value for your money.

Yes, the food may not be the most amazing you'll ever eat but the service and ambiance of the place is worth it.I visited Sumosan last week with 10 friends to celebrate my 30th Birthday and i can honestly say, one of the best nights I've had in a while.The waiters are attentive but not over attentive to the point you feel uncomfortable, the food is delivered within good time (which can often be an issue with 10 people eating) and the ambiance is like nowhere else in London.If you're looking for somewhere in London which is a bit of a party where you can also eat good food, this is your place. Great cocktails also, I cant wait to go back!

Mientras planeaba el 30 cumpleaños de mi pareja, quería reservar un lugar especial y único. Escuché de Sumosan Twiga a través de colegas en el trabajo y decidí seguir adelante y reservar, había hecho una pequeña solicitud ya que de hecho estábamos celebrando. ¡Sin duda uno de mis restaurantes favoritos en Londres! De principio a fin, no podemos culpar a la experiencia. El personal de recepción nos recibió calurosamente a la llegada y nos llevaron arriba al piso del comedor. Debo decir que el personal fue extremadamente atento a todos los detalles y toda la noche fue impecable. Probamos algunos cócteles encantadores y tuvimos una buena botella de vino, ps gracias por la recomendación. La comida nos fue comprada rápidamente y fue simplemente deliciosa. Lo alegre en la cima era la atmósfera, vibrante, activa y mirando a su alrededor parecía que todos estaban teniendo una noche encantadora. El toque final fue un postre que nos compraron para mi pareja, realmente apreciamos el esfuerzo en los pequeños detalles.Definitivamente regresaremos en el futuro y lo recomendaremos a todos para una experiencia gastronómica sensacional. Gracias a todos por hacerlo especial.

Visited last night to celebrate my friends birthday. Our table was booked for 10pm which we felt was very late to eat, but this was the earliest time in order to keep the table all night. DJ was really good and played good music all night, really good atmosphere everyone up dancing. Food was nice and got a desert brought to table for my friends birthday. Drinks were extremely over priced, £62 for a bottle of prosecco & wasn't a big bottle! Bottles of wine were £68 + Unfortunately the service was quite slow and waiters were extremely rude.

Had very high expectations for this place but unfortunately that was not the case. Me and my boyfriend came here for his 23rd birthday and we weren't impressed at all. Firstly on arrival we got into their front reception area and nobody noticed us. About 5 people from their staff were dealing with an underaged guy who was trying to get in with all his friends... I mean one of them could have at least said welcome to us and not payed so much attention to the underaged person. When seated on our table we waited about 15 minutes for someone to again come and welcome us and give us the menus. The menus which they gave us didn't have the wine list, so we sort of assumed there is no wine in this place and went for their overprices £20 cocktails which are not worth it at all! We were left to read those menus for a longggg time to the point where my boyfriend had to try and get their attention so we can try to order. The food was served fast which was good but the starters were extremely average and again the calamary is not tasty and not worth the £20,so don't bother with it. Regarding the mains - we both had pasta and again very average for the price. While eating the staff were always asking whether I was finished when it was obvious that I hadn't and I was enjoying the music. One of the staff actually started taking my plates!Regarding the atmosphere - it is good! The only thing I would say is that I felt the place was full of individuals who like staring and comparing to other, so if this is not your scene then I don't recommend. When we requested the bill it took them a long time to bring it and then someone else came and took that bill without saying what they were doing and when they came back our bill was changed (assuming they missed something out) but again no apology or explanation of what they did.... all of that took them another probably 20 minutes and that was quite annoying as we had somewhere else to be. To conclude, it is a very average and overpriced place which I don't think I will run back to especially if I was the one paying for the bill.

Came here with my partner we both loved it, food was brilliant, service was top notch and the entertainment really made the night. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for full experience or a special occasion. Already made another booking to go back with a few colleagues from work.

Sorprendido¡Comida, servicio, entretenimiento al mismo tiempo! ! !Este lugar ofrece los 3 al más alto nivel. Llegamos temprano para nuestra reserva y nos llevaron al bar a tomar una copa. Los cócteles estaban deliciosos. Una vez que nos sentamos, le pedimos a nuestro camarero que nos eligiera la comida, ya que tiene dos menús completos, italiano y japonés. Cada plato que salió fue una sorpresa y el sabor era una locura. En el momento en que comenzó la fiesta, es cuando puedes apreciar el trabajo sin esfuerzo del personal.Fiesta y trabajo al mismo tiempo impresionantes.Volveré pronto, no puedo esperar para mi cumpleaños :)

Great music and atmosphere. Dj was great, the service was good. The servant were dancing around which was fun to see. Highly recommend this place

It is a very posh place located in a very nice area. However, the food there was average, if not below. When the music began to play and people started dancing, we were so limited in our movement and wouldn’t be allowed to go to the bar, while dancing around the tables and on the chairs was fine.

My husband booked a table for my 50th birthday. They were told in advance it was my 50th birthday and they did nothing. Apart from that the lighting was dreadful. There were holes in the banquette that looked like cigarette burns, The food was awful - I sent the miso soup back because it was stone cold. The sushi was mediocre at best. I wont be returning and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. Dreadful experience!! Massive disappointment for such a milestone event.

The experience was last week that we went to sumosan after a friend of Mister Briatori recommended.

If you are going to a birthday meal just forget it!! Paying an arm and leg for table food to be sharing with other people on the table and some basic plain spaghetti with tomato sauce on the side to mix. Didn’t even touch an inch Of the food after the first taste. waste of time and money!!!

We were welcomed by the smiling Italian lady and then ordered a few different dishes. The pasta was no where near Italian standards it was a big disappointment especially for the price that’s being charged for...

Went there for an early dinner and we were greeted by big smiles at the front door.

We were told that the restaurant is fully booked and that the only table they can give us is at 6:30pm and they would need it back by 8pm, which was totally fine, except the fact that the restaurant was absolutely empty, even at 8:45pm when we were leaving. Secondly, when we were booking over the phone they didn’t mention anything about £80.00 per person minimum spend.

I said to the hostess at the front desk that I didn't have a reservation when asked.That I saw what I wanted on the menu posted in the glass window in the alcove. I volunteered to eat at the bar. My shopping bag from Harvey Nichols was taken to a secure location and I was escorted up three flights of stairs to the bat/lounge. This area was pleasantly designed in Classic Mid-Century style, London Regency, a large, low ceiling recatangular space with mood lit bar at one end, low club chairs in a soft light green in color with dark piping and tables with seetees along the wall, rectilinear blinds on the picture windows. And glamour art on the far wall opposite the bar. I an Old Fashion and Ravioli in butter sauce with shaved truffles. It was served in a hot cast iron dish then partially scooped and plated to the China plate by my waiter. Excellent! For desert I ordered their special coconut sorbet served with a light chocolate sauce on the side with a small cup a tiny crunchy sprinkles. Delightful. When my hostess upon leaving asked what I had ordered and I described the delightful desert she replied that "you have a smile." "You are happy." Wonderful attentive service. Atmosphere medium-cool sophistication: sets on at ease. Clientele, animated, wonderful to people watch. Food Excellent!

Todos sabemos lo buena que es la comida del restaurante Sumosan, sin embargo, mis amigos y yo siempre visitamos el lugar, pero CADA VEZ que recibimos la factura con pedidos adicionales y cuando le preguntamos al camarero por qué la factura duplica el precio debido a los pedidos adicionales, él responde "AAW ESTE NO ES TU CUENTA LO SENTIMOS"

We went there for a birthday party. The food was very good but we were not able to tell if this was an Italian or Japanese restaurant as we got pasta and sushi. The music was amazing. A lot of single and pretty ladies looking for guys.

Had the privilege of spending a few hours in this fantastic place. The food is subjective, in my case was superb. The high end party atmosphere is a fact.

the old sumosan was lovely and is the place and location i used to love, this one in knightsbridge is very aimed at a knightsbridge crowd with looks over substance. The food was not great at all and sadly so cause the dinner vibe is fun

Bad experience had in this restaurant, we had to wait 15 minutes at our arrival despite we had a booking, after that we discovered a low-level of food, nothing compared with other sushi restaurant in London. Final disaster the bill, they increase the amount adding items we didn’t order. Very unpleasant night, so not suggested at all.

Él me dijo que esta es SU CASA y si yo espero tiempo extra o me voy. . . ¡Así que básicamente me echaste! . . . Sinceramente, no recomendaría este restaurante a nadie, especialmente a mis amigos o colegas. !

Restaurant is nicely decorated. Service is pretty good. Food is exceptionally good too. Also you can have great fun and even sometimes can dance around your own table too. They have two different floors, before you book in better to call and find out where the live shows going to be.

We made a reservation for thirteen people on the evening of July 11th. Over the course of the evening, the service was not up to par.

I have been traveling around the world for very long time and always looking for places with a boost. We visited sumosan twiga one night. I was surprised by such an energetic staff, entertainment/fun,frendly atmosphere while food was just wow on the table. Amazing display of the decor superb.dinner was boosting and fully crowded and loaded amazing vibrations in the venue This venue hypnotized us. Definitely will be back again

We’ve been visiting London one month ago with my friends and were recommended to go for a dinner to this place. I’ve been many times in SUMOSAN in Moscow and I love it, so I was very exited to check it in London. Food is to die for. We tried SUMOSAN tarde (same like in Moscow), wasabi prawns and some yellowtail with truffle. Highly recommend. Vibe is upscale. Manager Mattia is the best, made our night

I went there with my friends and it was an amazing night.

I was in Sumosan for a birthday of my friend, it was amazing! The food it was very tasty, from the Italian to Japanese side. I loved the burrata, paccheri Lobster, the tacos, Hamachi tiradito and many other dishes. The service was very attentive, the staff had a very good knowledge about the menu and the drinks. At the end the waiters came with the cake and the sparkles and they made a show for us. Very good ambience. I will come back!

Lovely place and nice atmosphere . I love them way of sharing concept from the buttata from the south of Italy until the Japanese plates . Service is great . Much better then before . Go and see the changes .

The meal was good but too expensive for what is offered (it is difficult to compete with expensive Japanese restaurants in London). However it has a very cool ambience and modern style. Good to party!

Eravamo in quattro la sera del 12 giugno 2019, abbiamo cenato presso il Sumosan. Lo stabile dall'esterno non rappresenta minimamente la meravigliosa atmosfera che invece percepisci appena sali le scale per raggiungere il primo piano. Cibo perfetto, abbiamo mangiato una serie infinita di sushi e anche dell'Angus. Cantina molto fornita, personale veramente molto preparato e adeguato al locale. La cena è stata allietata da un complesso molto smart. Atmosfera perfetta per un locale molto ma molto smart. Ci tornerò. Abbiamo pagato un prezzo congruo 553 sterline.

لم اكن اتوقع ان يكون الغداء به ولكن لان طعامه لذيذ وخفيف عالمعده والاجواء بارده فضلنا تناول الغداء به وطلبنا سوشس كالفورنيا وكريسبي شرمب سوشي ودجاج بالصوص والارز بالخضار وبراون رول تمبورا ولم يعجبني بصراحه لانه ملفوف بالاعشاب البحريه التي اشعر انها لايمكن مضغها بسهولهاما بتقي الطعام لذيذ جدا ومن الملاحظه الجميله بالمطعم انه بالحمام يوجد قناني للغسول داخل المرحاض مما يسهل لنا كمسلمين دخول الحمام والوضوء الموظفين رائعين والاجواء لطيفه ومريحه ومن المهم معرفة ان الاطباق صغيره كميتها حتى على الفرد الواحد والاسعار ليست رخيصه لذا على مرتاديه ان تكون لديهم ملائه ماليه والحلو المشهور الفوندانت وبخصوص الماء ممكن تختار الماء المجاني واقصد ماء الفلتر tap water الذواقه

Although not the most convenient location Twiga offers a Baggatele in the center of the city. The food is good and the drinks are better.

This restaurant has very good techniques to fool the customers. We ordered a bottle of wine and the waiter filled 3 glasses of wine and the bottle obviously had still wine. After a while, the waiter came and told us the wine has finished and if we want another bottle. The same happened and with the second bottle. So we understood that something is going wrong. Also, and to many friends of mine they have made “mistakes” with the bill. However, it’s true that this place is fun to be around until something like this happens.

Briatore decantata sempre la massima professionalità e l’eccellenza nel lusso , purtroppo ho trovato un servizio pessimo,cibo nella norma di un comune ristorante,arredo semplice e nulla di che . I was prepared to go there just for the vibe. I was surprised from the quality and taste of the food. Many italian and japanese options, cleverly combined in their amazing menu. Our party consisted of ten people and we ordered everything to share in the middle. Therefore I had the opportunity to taste at least 10 different choices. Every single one was fantastic! Note though that it is an expensive place.

Went there Saturday night, really pleasant staff and a nice crowd. Food was lovely and very well presented. Pricey but I fully expected it. Turns into a bit of a music venue later with some people not afraid to dance. Overall really fun and will be back.

Nos lo pasamos muy bien con mis amigos. La comida era increíble (aunque nos pareció raro que tuvieran pasta y comida japonesa) pero todo fue increíble. La banda cubana estuvo genial y nos hizo bailar toda la noche.

After not getting a reservation where I wanted, I saw this place with good reviews online so maybe the fact that it was easy to book should have warned me. Got there very late, tried to call them to ask for a reschedule but no one picked up, in any case they did honor my reservation as the place was almost empty. After you go through the good looking hostess with attitude, service is nice but the Asian food was tasteless, lacking spices, sauces, anything that would make a statement. Expensive as London is. Before leaving, I went to the next floor and that place was booming so not sure what was that first floor.

Sono stato in questo locale, consigliato da un amico, con la mia ragazza. Il menù si divide in due parti; il menù con piatti italiani e il menù giapponese con sushi sashimi e piatti vari. Noi abbiamo optato per la parte giapponese ma non si è vincolati, ognuno può ordinare alla carta quello che preferisce. Antipasto con tartare di salmone e avocado al profumo di tartufo bianco e ravioloni al vapore strepitosi!

Fue tan difícil obtener una reserva en Sumosan, ya que eran las vacaciones de Año Nuevo, así que lo mejor que podemos obtener es una reserva para la cena a las 7:45 pm, lo cual es muy temprano para que yo pueda cenar. El servicio fue bueno tal vez porque era temprano y el restaurante aún no estaba lleno. Tuvimos desde el menú de sushi y fue muy bueno. Es un caro que es quién restaurante!

Siamo stati ospiti del Twiga a capodanno. Per la modica cifra di 550 euro a testa ci hanno servito del sushi preparato diverse quante ore prima, 3 ravioli a testa e, in contemporanea col 'primo piatto' sono arrivati i secondi... ovvero una gelida tagliata wagyu e un pezzo di merluzzo... è la prima volta nella mia vita che mi servono primo e secondo piatto insieme... cenone di capodanno durato meno di una cena al fastfood... non ci siamo proprio.

Locale favoloso, praticamente tutto lo staff e’ italiano , camerieri manager baristi tutta gente molto capace e abile nel servizio, a dimostrazione di come gli italiani siano veramente i migliori al mondo in questo settore. Il cibo e’ qualcosa di diverso dalle solite cose, una cucina giapponese rivisitata in maniera paurosa, veramente ottimo. l’atmosfera è’fantastica con delle scelte musicali eccelse e vieni così coinvolto in una festa apparentemente inaspettata. Un plauso speciale al sommelier , di origini venete (ovviamente) persona molto colta che sa’ orientarti sul buon bere. Bravi e basta.

Pasé una noche absolutamente brillante aquí anoche para un cumpleaños familiar. Estaba un poco aprensivo después de leer algunas críticas negativas aquí, sin embargo, rápidamente me tranquilizó la cordial bienvenida en el vestíbulo. Luego nos dijeron que el resto de nuestro grupo estaba en el primer piso y nos indicaron a dónde ir. Una vez arriba, los techos altos, los cómodos asientos, la iluminación ambiental y el zumbido de la conversión me recordaron que estaba en un restaurante de primera clase. Estoy desconcertado por las malas críticas con respecto al personal, ya que encontramos que nuestros camareros y camareras eran amables, conocedores, serviciales, atentos pero no agresivos, y sobre todo, parecían que disfrutaban estar allí.

Un'esperienza come da previsioni, un decoro raffinato ed un servizio italiano molto gentile. Insomma andare al Twiga ma a Londra... buona cucina asiatica, una lobster salad come pezzo forte, un cod da applausi e così dicendo, ottimi cocktails. Però il tutto fatturato per la Jetset del Twiga.

Posto molto normale,ci si aspettava qualcosa di piu tipo monaco, ma va bene, musica divertente ,non certo adatto a una cena romantica! Il cibo? Non e certo il lato migliore

Restaurant does not respect customers, specially the manager Francesco marangi and Nula massigiri, I wait for table one hour and they didn't give me table and give people come after me table because they are two and me one !!! I wait for one hour and the coming after me and take the table!! And because they are women and me man!!! Not only this i saw him gave other people table because he know him! Is this international restaurant???

We had a horrible experience and left the place feeling anxious and used. Our server were incredibly pushy and almost rash and rude. We felt rushed and coerced as soon as we sat down and wasn't even given a moment to breath and study the menu as the waiters and the managers were hovering over us trying to push the higher priced wines and their special $100+/plate truffle menus.

I have only been in this restaurant once, and did not want to leave. The music is variated and suits the atmosphere, the DJ is great e.t.c. I loved it. If you are a foodie like I am, I am sure you will love the portion sizes. Also, they don’t keep the fish forever like some other restaurants. Overall amazing!!!

Nous avons très très difficilement eu une place mais nous l avons eu pour 23h30, nous sommes arrivé un accueil chaleureux, on nous conduit à l étage, on se rend directement compte que c est la fête presque tous le monde danse TOP !

Ottima cucina , staff eccellente tutto curato nei minimi dettagli, complimenti a Briatore per il suo ennesimo successo .

Siamo stati in questa fantastica location io e mio padre, nel mese di novembre 2017, per sorseggiare un soft drink e passare una serata diversa nella bellissima Londra.
