Pleasant to enter, the food is presented nicely. Prices about average. There are only limited non alcoholic drinks available. the starters hummus and ciack are served with no bread to dip just a spoon which was a bit odd. We were given complimentary tea and bread before the meal.

We came for dinner last night as a group of 6. The platter was unreal! The breads and dips and OMG the feta salad! Unreal! I’m usually reluctant to visit Turkish restaurants in Milton Keynes as often I find them to be really dry, bland and unauthentic however this was such a pleasant surprise! Meat was so tender and fresh, the decor was very grand and nicely done! It was brilliant, staff were so so lovely. Highly recommend, will be coming back very soon !

I visited for a weekend and the atmosphere was pleasant. The staff is very friendly, the food was very generous and they have some great collections of non alcoholic drinks. The best spot in milton Keynes for turkish and mediterranean food.

What an amazing experience! I went last night with a few friends and from the start till end, the service was impeccable. It l felt like we were really being cared for by the staff and owner. The restaurant itself looks beautiful and the food we ordered was very delicious! Great presentation and taste. Price was actually quite reasonable too! For a peri peri burger with chips and a pint of mango juice, I paid £19. They provided some appetisers before the food came, free of charge. It was like a soft bread with some toppings on it along with dipping sauce. Very nice. Well done! I will be back with family!

Above all, the waiters are very friendly. I would like to visit again. I can speak in English, but this review is more fascinating in Spanish!

We went last year and we’re so happy decided to go back this year. Mistake….it has now changed hands, notices on the door to say it is an alcohol free establishment, a shame, I enjoy a glass of wine with my meal. One of our party went to the bar to order a non alcoholic meal, it didn’t arrive and had to ask for it again. The meat was dry and nowhere near as good as before. They automatically add 10% service charge. Our waitress was very good but won’t be going back, there is a lot of competition and this was overall a poor experience.

An impeccably decorated restaurant, the service is exceptional from before you open the door (as they'll open it for you). The staff are attentive but leave you to enjoy yourselves. The menu is large enough to give you a range of options but not so big as to dilute the quality. The food is something my partner and I have returned for. The range of drinks is good and the range of non alcoholic drinks is exceptional. I would recommend them for lunch or evening. Great service 5*

I went on a family outing first time dining at the Sultan restaurant. Ahad and his colleagues made us feel extremely at ease. They were courteous and went above and beyond to make our meal more enjoyable. The cuisine was flavourful, perfectly cooked and delightful. This is a spacious restaurant with downstairs and upstairs eating areas and the design is stunning and vibrant. The ground floor has an accessible washroom. I think the desserts and platters were outstanding. The location is hidden this restaurant is behind premier inn hotel opposite to the building Xscape entertainment centre in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. Walking distance to the main shopping centre.

My family and I were there for Mother's Day. The quality of the food was very poor. The staff were not properly trained. The toilet was very dirty, and one of the toilet locks was broken. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Was violently sick and I visit 2 to 3 food establishments a day for the last 25 years

Unfortunately our experience was very poor. We asked for lemonade and it turns out to be sparkling water with slice of lemon. The main was a mixed platter and the quality of the food was hit and miss. The food was not fresh and very dry. Definitely not on the favorite list.

We recently went for a friend's birthday. We can honestly say that the food was delicious. The setting is really beautiful. The team are very friendly and courteous. A big thank you to Ahad who is the restaurant manager. He was warm and friendly and makes the best mocktails.

Disappointing experience - we love the Kingston branch, but this one falls far short on all counts - the only plus was that we were served in time to make our theatre trip. The two biggest hold ups were getting the wine we ordered and catching the eye of staff to pay the bill at the end. The atmosphere was affected by the thumping loud music - certainly not easy listening mediterranean background music! Need to significantly up there game to win over a discerning crowd.

Nice restaurant with standard Turkish/Mediterranean food. The food was well presented and was good quality. Large restaurant with plenty of seating. The staff were friendly. We had mixed grill and lamb chops and both dishes were good.

We waited 30 minutes and still didn't not have our initial greet to order drinks or food. We left as the service was poor and they were clearly overwhelmed with the amount of customers they had.

Atrocious customer service, took at least 45 minutes for us to even be seated just for us to be told that we couldn’t order from the menu. We had to order from a shoddily prepared paper valentine’s day menu with 2 options on it. Absolute pure incompetence from all staff members on the premises. Was looking forward to the food but never got the chance to eat it.

Absolutely amateur customer service. Took a booking from us on 12/2 for Valentine’s Day. Confirmed and reminder sent on morning of 14th. Cancelled our booking at 5.30pm on the day! Disgusting. Was looking forward to trying this place, but would not give them a penny

Had a lovely evening, staff were attentive but not oppressive. Best kalamari I've had for a very long time and the lamb shish was great. Only wish I lived locally so could visit regularly.

We tried sultans for the first time this weekend and it’s safe to say we will be back! The food was great, as a vegetarian I had delicious sounding options. I went for the makados which I would recommend! Also the baklava for dessert is a must! It’s amazing!!

Cannot fault this restaurant, the food was delicious and great portion sizes. Staff are friendly and polite. We had a great meal out and I would definitely recommend trying Sultans.

We had the pleasure of dining at Sultana recently, with a group of over 25 people, and we were absolutely blown away by the exceptional service. Despite being incredibly busy, the staff managed to create an unforgettable experience for us, always working with a smile. Ahad and Qasim, in particular, were phenomenal. Their attentiveness and care, even amidst the bustling environment, were nothing short of extraordinary. They consistently went above and beyond, ensuring we were well looked after throughout the evening. The service we received was truly mind-blowing, and we couldn’t have been more pleased. It’s rare to see such dedication and professionalism, and it left a lasting impression on all of us. Sultana not only met but exceeded our expectations in every way, making it an evening to remember.

We spent new years with the family. Had an amazing time. The food, atmosphere, service - everything was outstanding. Qasim the waiter was very friendly and had a lovely smile every time and assisted us throughout the night along side another staff. Ahad the manager assisted a very large crowd ( group of 25 plus) efficiently on new year days whilst it was very busy and we didnt have reservation.

Was missing a children's meal which wasnt a big size anyway and was dry in the one that did come. The chips were really hard and not nice. The rice was nice and some of the meat in the kebab special was. Blue cheese sauce lovely

Food was very good. 6 people in my group all having different starters and mains with no complaints. Service was good apart from having way to many "is everything ok for you guys" we got this from different staff members totaling 4 times. Unnecessary. Atmosphere is nice and relaxed and not overly loud. Overall a good experience apart from the aforementioned. I've added a photo of the menu as of 23rd Nov 2024.

Sultans is a great and clean resturant. Food was lovely but my issue is the presentation, There was a random half passion fruit on the cold mezze .. and unnecessary sauce on the hot mezze that made it all taste the same. The rice was a little dry i would prefer Bulgur rice it was not an option. There was no music or ambience. The waiters were nice and attentive but a little maybe too attentive where they kept asking if we were finished when clearly we were still eating. A customer is able to let you know or call if anything is needed - i didnt like it when they came every 7 minutes for no reason. I wanted to eat and talk to my family but we felt that we were rushed out. It was very irritating.

What a wonderful find! The welcome was warm and the staff so very friendly and genuine. The management team care deeply about building an excellent menu and experience. The decor is inspired, really striking and stylish, the lighting is brilliant too. A great place to celebrate a special occasion or for a Christmas get together. Every dish we had was more beautiful and delicious than the last. Vegans were really well looked after and halal diners too. We really recommend Sultans and we will definitely be back.

Sultans seemed like a lovely restaurant. Warm ambience. The staff were ok. The man who welcomed us in was warm. The other guy needs to smile a bit more though and the ladies too. The food was tasty. I'm not a fan of the sauces though but the bread was heavenly. The platter to share had salmon in it which was really good to see. My strawberry daiquiri didn't taste like it should though. They have an Instagram corner where you can take nice photos on the sofa.

In the heart of the theatre district, this restaurant was a royal dining experience from start to end. The grand entrance with high ceilings and magnificent decor is very inviting. We were warmly welcomed by the team and offered a table on the balcony seating area overlooking the entire restaurant. We had clear views of the open kitchen, and the food was constantly flowing and served immediately to guests. The staff was super knowledgeable about the menu and provided top food recommendations. For starters, we had a cold mezze, a hot mezze, and garlic king prawns, all served with a generous side of complimentary Turkish bread and dipping sauces. The flavours were very fresh and clean, and all dishes had individual taste explosions. We really loved the chilli dipping sauce with the bread and even asked for some to take home; it was that delicious. For mains, we had the lamb ribs and the chicken shish. As you can see from the images, the portions were favourable, and the addition of the rice, chargrilled vegetables, and the array of fresh salads was again substantial in portion size. The unique blend of the chargrill flavour leaves you wanting more, that's for sure. It's a fresh flavour that you will crave forever more, and we are already planning our next visit to try more on the menu. We had a selection of Turkish desserts served with the most amazing Turkish tea to cleanse our pallet. The restaurant is experimenting with fine foods from around the world. We were delighted to be offered a taste of the new French cake patisserie joining the new menu. Very light and delicious. The new owners were out talking to the diners and appreciating every word of feedback. The head chef also took the time to come and ask us and other diners how we enjoyed the food. I loved that personal touch it added to our special dining experience. It sounds like the guys have big plans for this restaurant in 2025 definitely one to watch on my restaurant bucket list. We travelled from Solihull, well worth the hour and fifteen-minute drive, there are so many great hotels to stay close by. Congratulations to the whole team on a magical dining experience. We could easily see why you consistently receive five stars on Trip Advisor.

Five stars! We celebrated our niece’s 18th birthday here, and it was such a memorable experience. We initially came just for drinks, but after seeing the menu, we couldn’t resist trying a few starters – they were absolutely delicious! The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with gorgeous floral touches that make it stand out. Toward the end of our meal, we were surprised by the staff with a birthday song and a beautifully presented plate with a cake. The cake was not only stunning but also incredibly tasty! Thank you for making the evening so special. Highly recommend!

Okay so I went today with my family including a 1.5 year old and a 6 year old, we all ordered our drinks and then food everything was perfect, the my partner and her sisters asked if they could get thier starters with thier main meals and that was fine, cut a long story short no food, no communication, no complimentary bread... for the first 50 minutes.... I then chased them and they said 5 minutes. After we ate and admittedly the food is very good I'm not faulting that, the server stated after questioned that the bread didn't come out at the start like normal because when he puts all together on the ticket the kitchen take that literally, including the bread that's supposed to come out basically asap to tide you over, even though he was fully aware we had kids and made no effort to ask if that included the bread He did apologise but 0 communication and 2 very sad/hungry kids for 45/50 minutes was not the way I wanted to end my night Not the best experience quite disappointed

The lamb was chewy, and the only Turkish dessert was baklava. It was okay, but not the best. I would love to have more tender lamb and more warm and fresh Turkish desserts.

Lovely restaurant right in the middle of town. Decorated really nicely and as very modern. The flower features were really beautiful and gave the place extra charm. The service was excellent, the waiters really were friendly and attentive throughout. We ordered a sharing platter and some individual meals. All the food came out pretty much together which was good. Drinks served before food with house bread and dips. The food tasted really good, was seasoned and cooked nicely and overall we enjoyed it all. They gave us extra fries which we didn’t order but they didn’t charge for these which was very good of them. During the evening two birthday cakes were brought out and all staff joined in the clapping and singing which was nice to see. The whole evening was a vibe!! We couldn’t fault anything, the staff were great and food was lovely. Overall, a really lovely restaurant with good food and good ambiance throughout the evening. Would recommend to try. We will certainly be revisiting when we are passing through next time.

"Our visit to Sultans in Milton Keynes for an 18th birthday on 04/08/24 was filled a series of disappointments. The long journey we undertook, expending a significant amount of fuel to reach the restaurant, only added to the frustration we encountered. Traveling with children heightened the challenges we faced, as their hunger and dissatisfaction mirrored our own. The service was lackluster, with disinterested and slow waitstaff failing to meet our expectations. The disparity between the online portrayal of the establishment and the reality we experienced was evident from the moment we arrived. The ambiance fell short of inviting, with advertisements disrupting the atmosphere. The food presentation and taste were equally disappointing, resembling leftovers rather than freshly prepared dishes. The shared platter, dominated by sticky and stale-tasting rice, had sparse meat portions carelessly placed atop it. The overall quality of the food was subpar, with only the children's meals offering any sort palatability. Despite engaging with the manager and receiving a partial bill reduction, the dissatisfaction lingered as the children were left unsatisfied and hungry. And the birthday girl was disappointed and miserable that this is how she spent her big day. And us as the Adults were starving as we left the restaurant. This experience at Sultans was far from the celebratory occasion we had hoped for

Was recommended this restaurant as a really good Turkish in Milton Keynes however, doesn’t compare to Olive Tree. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the decor is stunning but the service and food were a huge let down. It appears they don’t understand what vegan means as their “vegan friendly” options are served with rice which has butter in… There was a language barrier which meant the customer service was poor. I wouldn’t come back unfortunately.

It was my father's birthday and we decided to explore this lovely restaurant. The service was amazing we were greeted and attended to very pleasantly. The food can be a bit pricey. We were quite full with all we ate. The fresh bread was to die for. Everything tasted delicious. The decor was nicely done as well.

I've visited this restaurant a number of times when visiting Milton Keynes and have always been very happy. Simple Turkish food done well. Good selection of cocktails. Reasonable prices. Very happy to recommend.

Yo, so we hit up Sultan's for lunch, and let me tell you, it was a major letdown. We ordered pasta and chicken sarma, and both were straight-up tasteless. Seriously, I've had better meals out of a can. Now, let's talk about the service—or lack thereof. We saw a 2-for-1 deal on mocktails, so naturally, we jumped on it. Expecting two drinks, right? Wrong. They brought us four, and the waitress didn’t bother to explain we’d get double. We ended up paying for two extra drinks we didn’t even want. Total hustle move. The ambiance? Just meh. Nothing to write home about. Sultan's might look fancy, but they ain't got the goods to back it up. Safe to say, we won't be making a return visit anytime soon.

We went in a quiet time before the theatre doors opened, so got the 20% discount, then split the saving with the waiters as a tip. We each cose different dishes, and every one was delicious. Go before 6pm and also get 2 for 1 cocktails 🍸

Went out for son birthday for family dinner, we ordered the food as you do along with drinks the food all came, But one order never came, so after speaking to the waitress she said a few minutes, 10 minutes have now passed I then went to speak to the guy in front of the kitchen area and he then say that he forgot to make it! I said all the other food is getting cold! As we want to all eat together as a family would do! He says bring the food over and I’ll reheat it! What a joke, so we are paying for reheated food 🤦🏽 The forgotten food eventually came out, ⌚️ We just had the meal and then asked for the bill! That came with 10% service charge, I asked the waitress to remove this as I was not paying the service charge, it was then removed, But on a positive a slice of cake was given with birthday Music and a candle.. This was the FIRST AND LAST TIME AT THE RESTAURANT

Really lovely restaurant. The tables are not squashed together, there is a great atmosphere, staff are super attentive and the food is delicious. Lots of food for a very good price! Would highly recommend.

Never received my order, restaurant say they gave it to the courier, the courier I assume marked it as delivered on the App, as thats what it showed up as at 7.27pm, but me as the paying customer received nothing, my address was entered correctly on the app and on online receipt, so no mistake there, unable to ring and speak to anyone, so had to make do with a tin of beans for my dinner and have to wait to receive an email response which can take up to 2 days, consider this very unacceptable

This is a very lovely restaurant and the best Turkish restaurant I have ever been. we have been so many times and they never disappoint, the staffs are so welcoming and food is always top notch and freshly served, the bread they serve is the softest thing ever. Is better to go during the week when is not really busy
