AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH. We ate at Herman Turkish yesterday — the chicken and lamb shish tasted off and clearly wasn’t fresh. By this morning, we were suffering from diarrhoea due to food poisoning. We called the restaurant to inform them, but they got extremely defensive and offered no apology or compensation. Absolutely unacceptable. I will be filing a formal complaint with health and safety authorities. Think twice before risking your health here.

Delicious Turkish BBQ cooked over coals, giving the chicken a rich, smoky flavour. The takeaway is slightly pricey but includes the same high-quality sides and attention to detail as dining in. The bulgur wheat is perfectly cooked, infused with a tomato base and a hint of spice.

Now has a card machine which fills in my main complaint. Great tasting food, Pizzas, kebabs, grill and fried chicken. Sauces here are what make the food so make sure you go in heavy with the chilli sauce and sweet chilli sauce. Store is basic, so more of a takeaway then a eat in. Very store so staff can be under pressure at peak hours.

Yummy & very generous portions. Reasonable priced. Friendly staff.
