Completely dead despite it being a busy night out. Menu prices are only visible if you hold the page at a certain angle that catches the light - maybe that's why it was an £80+ meal for one?? Food completely underwhelming- starter calamari (three rings) rubbery and a dip that was way too glutinous....for nine quid!! Main course steak served on a cold plate - tasteless and uninspiring. Blue cheese sauce like nothing blue cheese related that I've seen before...I think it's out of an Aldi squeezy bottle of 'blue cheese sauce'. Also really glutinous and unappetising. Wine was mediocre, cocktail was meh, service good but felt like they wanted me out asap. No surprise it was so devoid of customers.

Service was below standard, we had to ask for EVERYTHING besides the food we ordered and dessert menus. We were constantly pressed to hurry up and order. Their attitude wasn’t welcoming at all, this is by far the worst service I’ve received in a restaurant. The food was alright.

Ordered a lunch deal to takeaway. Very very happy. £14 for all of this. LOTS of hummus, very well marinated chicken and lamb skewers. Great quality.

Sick of restaurants that advertise a price to lure you in but put on this mandatory 12.5% forced tip that they pretend you can ask for it to be removed. This practice has got to stop. Add the 12.5% to the price otherwise stop forcing this service charge. We aren’t in America and you hourly wage is significantly more.

It’s ok here, but nothing special. The meat, whilst a good portion was hard to cut and slightly over cooked. Could’ve done with more chips. Service was great.

We stumbled across this restaurant while looking for somewhere to eat after work, it was fantastic. We had planned to stay for an hour but were there for over 2 hours. The food was delicious, the ambience of the place really nice and the service excellent. There was no pressure to rush but we knew they were available if we needed anything. A real gem of a place that I highly recommend.

Went at about 3:30 on Saturday, easy to get a table, wonderful meal, very good for the price, got the T-bone steak and a mac n cheese to share, brilliant service and memorable meal for our trip to London

We went here because it was the only place open near our hotel. We ordered burgers which was the only thing they were serving that late. It was OK. Not amazing, not terrible. Just OK. I would say it was a little bit better than McDonald's but nothing to write home about.

We really enjoyed our meal at Tettos. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the food was tasty and reasonably priced. The cocktails were particularly good and we will definitely return. They also take taste card bookings if you ring in advance.

While the staff are generally okay, there was a moment of dissatisfaction when a waiter's response to a request for a recommendation between two types of tacos was perceived as unhelpful. Additionally, while the staff is friendly, their execution in managing orders and customer interactions could use some refinement to avoid coming across as too intrusive when they looking for you or disorganised when they looking and don’t know what to do, I felt like „ok go eat and bye, we are tired”

Went to the Farringdon Branch and will never go back. Tomahawk Steak was very disappointing and so was the T Bone Steak. The only plus point was the guy who served us was very nice. Brought us dates for opening our fast and also arranged for our prayer. Giving 5 stars for service only because of the guy. Waste of £200!!

Not Usually write review but the food and the flawless service was amazing….how neatly and cleanly was prepared for our amazing work lunch….everything was fresh and tasty specifically it made al the stuff finish there food with pleasure….it was worth for the price thanks ever so much will definitely re order this food…🙏🙏🙏

Food was average, but the service was really bad. We went for dinner on Feb 24th, and the guy who was in charge was rude and showed no hospitality. I would not recommend the experience

This is one of the worst restaurants I have been to. I went there a couple times, hoping that the second time will be better than the first one, and I really wanted to give them a second chance, but unfortunately, the second time was even worse. The food was quite bland and it almost felt like some products are expired. Same thing with drinks. I’ve never tried coke with such a weird taste. Are there any special ingredients in there that even the creator of Coke is not aware of? The restaurant looks nice from the inside, unfortunately, the smell of, I don’t know, clogged pipes maybe (?) is awful. And now, the worst part of the entire restaurant, the owner. Always on the phone, talking loudly and ruining the mood, making other guests uncomfortable. The second time I went there, he got into an argument with another customer and he slapped him. I was so shocked, that I promised myself to never come back there. Seriously, how is this restaurant is still running with such management?

Pricing is fair Food was good Service was ok but very awkward. We did not feel comfortable as there were a few waiters in a line just staring They seemed really on edge which was strange Really nice venue and great location

Great food! But the service was weird. At one point we were the only table and the staff (5 of them) stood in line watching us. You'd put your glass down and one of them would instantly be over to refill it. They struggled to take our drinks order (1 bottle red, 1 bottle white) and we had to order white wine again. Four people at table - couldn't put correct food in front of correct person. Brought 3 sides of veg when we ordered 1. Had to ask 3 times for bill. The staff were very friendly and attentive but couldn't do a pretty basic order. The table of 3 men huddled around a laptop at the back the whole time we were there was weird. Definitely staff not customers... At one point the table next to us ordered the tomahawk steak and it was a big production with the chef carving at the table. Staff were filming it, and then were filming us which was again a bit odd. So in summary I would highly recommend for great steak but maybe a little staff training needed!

Absolutely a gem of Farringdon. Was lucky enough to find a place like that. Got inside with some of my friends and everyone was so happy. Food is absolutely delicious. And the staff was so welcome and attentive (it looked like a VIP service). I’d be coming back again with more friends. Thank you Tetto’s for the perfectly spent time 🤩

First time I tried this place for lunch, and the lunch deal was filling and very nice. It cost £14.99 it comes with a starter main (I got lamb shish) chips, salad with sauces and was honestly very tasty and fresh. I saw a few other steaks and pastas I will go back and try with a few drinks at the bar they have with friends. I definitely will go again and recommend it.

Amazing service, very friendly. I had booked a place and requested a birthday surprise. They had taken this into consideration and presented cake with great presentation without me having to remind them. Food was really nice. Would definitely recommend them for an evening with as a couple or group 😍❤️

Wow! Came as a group and we all agreed we had some of the best steak we have ever had. I’ve been to most steak houses in and around London but this is up there as the best. Incredible service from everyone and the owners Ali and UG were just so great too. Will see me a lot here. Thank you everyone here. If I find my receipt I will post it to show what I got.

Dreadful service and good to match wouldn’t recommend this to anyone waiters ignored me to get a glass of water long delays to get the food to our table and when it arrived it was really bad

The food was ok, service not too bad but for long periods the plates were left and we were without drinks until we reminded them. Expensive for the overall quality, which frankly wasn’t great. I was drawn to the high ranking, but it’s way above the reality.

One of the worst restaurant I ever been to. I asked for a medium rare ribeye, the steak I had was well done and it was like chewing a tire, it was very dry. We also had a tomahawk steak and it was tasteless, I don’t think the meat is good quality and I don’t think the ribeye I had was fresh meat. The sauces were basically water and powder. Knowing the prices I felt scammed. But the worst thing is that they told us the meat was halal, and we saw that is the Google comments as well but it was not, they lied to us knowing we were muslims. Run away !

The waiter was very unfriendly and tried to cheat us by simply adding one more beer to the bill. When we pointed this out to him, he did not apologize. The food was good but overpriced. Therefore 2 stars.

Great steaks, great presentation, top class, could not fault anything

Great atmosphere and brilliant food. I ate previously at a different branch and didn’t have a great experience and completely written the chain off my dining out list. But gave this Farringdon a go and have to say it was completely different! Food was brilliant and staff were amazing. Service was very quick and we were able to dine in the private quarters at the rear of the restaurant.

Decent steak place. Interior is very swanky, and was not particularly to my liking. Appetiser portions were rather small given the price - only 2 small pieces of bread in the bruschetta.

Decent food with good quantity. Drinks were great too. But the staff was staring....a lot? Probably cus it was earlier in the evening only one other table was being tended to apart from ours at the time. Boredom, I guess? We weren't uncomfortable, but it was weird for sure.

Birthday meal on the same night as the ENG v FRA world cup match. Weather was bitterly cold outside (-3°C). The restaurant was cold and we felt a icy chill everytime the door was opened. The steak seemed really well prepared but was cold by the time I was half way through it which was a shame. They really need to be better prepared for weather like this and provide a more comfortable environment especially when you're paying a premimum price.

Had a lovely Dallas cut 400g steak here last night. Cooked to perfection. Nice fries to accompany. The restaurant is near both Smiths and Gauchos and if anything, tasted every bit as good and represented more value. The restaurant has some themed gold leaf add ons if that is your thing. Certainly not mine, but the steak was fabulous.

Loved this place! Been meaning to go for a while and finally got to go to take some clients out for dinner. The decor inside is quirky but brilliant. The level of service from everyone was outstanding and they also do great cocktails which was an added bonus. We all had the T bone steak which was simply superb, all cooked slightly different but to perfection for why each person wanted. Will definitely go back soon.

Very disappointed with this place. We had high expectations and were very disappointed with both the service and the food. Felt like the service was very overly done and they were trying too hard which resulted in them slamming drinks down etc. half of the food was good except the tomahawk steak. This was brought out, left, then the sauces were brought, then the chips, then the steak was cut. The bone from the tomahawk was then dropped onto the floor and the steak was cute into very large unmanageable chunks. It was very fatty and extremely hard to cut and just didn’t taste of anything. By the time the steak was cut the sauces were cold and just unpleasant. When we had finished we explained the issue with the tomahawk steak and the sauces where we were greeted by unacceptable customer service, rudeness and an attitude from the server which was extremely unreasonable. He could clearly tell we were unhappy and it took a while of arguing back and forth until that meal was removed from the bill. The service was shocking and nobody came over to see how the food was. The rest of the food was good but wasn’t excellent. Definitely will not be returning after the disgusting customer service we had to deal with.

Great food with good customer service. We visited the restaurant on a Thursday at around 2pm. The restaurant was near enough empty. I ordered the t-bone steak and a signature burger for the mains. For starters we ordered the beef tacos. The steak was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection and huge at 450g. The burger was also very tasty and juicy. The tacos were average, I found the meat to be very chewy. Lunch offer is currently 30% off the bill which was a bonus.

We dined here twice already with my family of 4. Professional staff with delicious food. with great portions. Pricey but absolutely worth it. Great choices and fully halal

Together with my wife, had lunch to celebrate her birthday on 27th Sep 22. Excellent food, friendly and attentive staff. Recommend the sirloin steaks and we will be going back when we are in that part of London.

I must have been at a different restaurant to other review! Staff were not warm and welcoming. Two of us ordered steaks cooked medium rare. They were both incredibly rare. We asked for them to be cooked more. They were fried over and brought back to the table. On the menu it said request bernaise sauce. I was told it wasn’t available. I then asked for Dijon mustard and the waiter said English mustard. I repeated Dijon he repeated English. They didn’t have Dijon. His attitude was not friendly just obsequious. Some other members of our group ordered burgers and were very pleased with them. I would not be inclined to return to this restaurant.

Went for dinner after work after hearing good things about the steak. Ordered lobster pasta and steak and couple of drinks. Food tasted good, loved the chips that came alongside. Service was great and loved the ambience!

We got an amazing deal here through Groupon, and didn't expect to receive nearly such great quality food and service. Our server Arda was fantastic and the food was amazing and he even tried not to take a tip from us, saying he was happy to serve us anyway, but he insisted as we'd had such a good experience. The cheesy garlic mushrooms and sirloin steak were beautiful, and even the house wine was really rather nice. Some of the best chips ever too. I asked for blue cheese sauce and got that as well as peppercorn and mushroom sauce for my steak, all of which were yummy. The decor was great too, even in the toilet. Would be a good place to take someone for a fancy meal. Don't hesitate to come here.

Came by this restaurant by accident ommy way home from Farringdon Station. I was pleasantly surprised. Food was good service excellent. Will be returning.

The biggest paradox of my experience eating the sirloin in this place was: They are trying to imitate the Salt Bae with videos on the tv from their service, additions of the golden steak on the menu but my food had literally zero salt. Was very bland and unpleasant unfortunately. Bruschetta: what's the point toasting dry slice of bread just to make it even dryer and then add tomato on top which again has zero seasoning. Portions were very good and presentation of food was nice. Service was all right.

Ordered lasange. It was served cold/luke warm.

Staff was rude, very short and snappy with us, said they closed at 11 but wanted us out by 10.30. Food was also bland. Not sure of it’s because its a Monday. Said Kitchen closed at 9.30 but when my friend tried to order before that time that he said it was already closed.

Drinks were well presented and their garlic bread was the size of a pizza (and delicious!). 🙌
