This is the nicest cafe I have ever been in London! The cafe is a hidden gem at the picturesque Camden passage and there is plenty of outdoor and indoors space. Indoors the space is cosy with a nice corner overlooking the garden at the back, and in the basement there is extra seating space with Ancient Greek decoration, leading to the garden. The coffee was also great. Don’t miss if you are in the Angel area!

I waited a year before going in because it attracts a rather pretentious looking crowd, glad I finally tried it though. The coffee is superb and so was the tea my daughter ordered and the cakes. The staff were super nice and friendly and the pretentious crowd didn't make me want to slap them nearly half as much as I thought they were going to. Hopefully I never needed to go back to London, but if I do then I might just pop in here again.

Very good coffee, food, and service. Just wouldn’t go back to work from there. Has wifi that worked well and comfortable chairs, however I wouldn’t call this a super work friendly cafe. Mainly due to its rotation heavy, background music, and I coudnt find plugs (although I didn’t ask as it was packed) Food is one of the bests in the area for cafe and coffee is good!

The coffee here is great. The staff is nice. The pastries are average compared to what is available around. The food.. I guess it depends on the chef’s mood that day. Went here as my wife had a class nearby and we were early. Ordered a couple of coffees which were quite expensive for the size and also it's self service so we had to sit down then wait for your name to be called out and then go and get your order. My coffee was bitter and luke warm so I asked for another coffee and explained it was Luke warm to which I got a look of disbelief. The next coffee was still bitter and my wife had a croissant with cheese and tomato which was just OK. The chairs are like school chairs very uncomfortable and you cannot really sit down for a long time. The toilet was not very clean and there was a hint of urine smell there was also no hand-wash and I had to come out and ask someone for hand-wash and when they came back I was told someone had stolen thier hand-wash bottle and never offered to get any soap from their kitchen. Loads of better options in the area and I for one won't be going back.

4.40 for an iced Americano decaf??? Are we serious??? So a double espresso + 3 ice cubes + tap water = 4.40??? Re think your pricing!!! Great coffee though 😛 EDIT after the reply below: I know that decaf is 0.5 extra, I do understand that. But I will challenge you to this; according to your menu online, double espresso is 2.8 + 0.5 decaf = 3.3. How does the price soar to 4.4? If you know math, this is a 33.3% increase in price, for what? some ice-cubes and tap water? It doesn't make sense to me, but this is my opinion.. The coffee was nice but it is self service in terms of carrying your tea cup mug with latte art down a flight of stairs. I’ll definitely give another try but just a warning to my fellow students out there as midterms and finals approach, you might want to take your studies elsewhere.

I will say though that paying £3.80 for a very small coffee in a paper cup is a bit of a liberty. I got given a paper takeaway cup the first time and thought it was odd so this time I even asked if I could have it in a mug as I was sitting in and the man behind the till told me they are only doing takeaway cups at the moment, even though I could see mugs on the side and there were other people around me with mugs lol. Might sound petty but I just feel like having your coffee in a mug is a basic requirement in a cafe. It also feels like needless waste. If I wanted a paper cup I would go to Costa. It’s a shame because as I said, lovely place

The coffee was pretty good. Unfortunately the pastries were truly terrible. You can buy better at the CO OP for a third of the price. I bought a pan au chocolate - it was soft and stale. At around £3, they sell you a soft and stale pastry? I literally threw both pastries in the bin on the way home after taking one bite. The other was for a friend - I decided that also had to be binned as I would not wish it on anyone. They reminded me of a shop bought packet of 8 pan au chocolats in a plastic wrapper with a 3 month shelf life due to all the chemicals they pump into them to keep 'fresh'. I wish I had gone back and demanded a refund. If I had just tried the coffee I would have given 4 * - as I wasted around £6 on two pastries that were truly disgusting they get 2 stars as they should not be selling them. Who ever is in charge of that really should have a rethink. I will never go back again.

Not great... Using the "Too Good to Go" app I purchased a sandwich, got home and there was mold on the underside bread of the sandwich. I know it should be last moment as food is going, but this is too last moment. Please consider the timings a little more carefully and not to push that hard on the limits of food going bad.

There was a problem with the card machine. After trying for 5 mins still not fixed. Manageress came to tills and started shouting at staff and then at me(!). I left and ate elsewhere and will never return.

Ordered for delivery a best of both worlds meal deal and a pastrami steak box. Turned up stond cold and the pastrami in the combo was miniscule compared with the other. Considering it cost 24 pounds for a single burger chips and a tiny little piece of pastrami I feel ripped off and disappointed. Wont be returning.

Completely dead despite it being a busy night out. Menu prices are only visible if you hold the page at a certain angle that catches the light - maybe that's why it was an £80+ meal for one?? Food completely underwhelming- starter calamari (three rings) rubbery and a dip that was way too glutinous....for nine quid!! Main course steak served on a cold plate - tasteless and uninspiring. Blue cheese sauce like nothing blue cheese related that I've seen before...I think it's out of an Aldi squeezy bottle of 'blue cheese sauce'. Also really glutinous and unappetising. Wine was mediocre, cocktail was meh, service good but felt like they wanted me out asap. No surprise it was so devoid of customers.
