Just been for the nachos after seeing them on right guys, to find this shop run by unhelpful kids the shop wasn't the cleanest of places ,the customer service was none existent I had to ask for my box to be opened again to add some sauce which I wasn't offered, the girl was just miserable and mumbling, won't be going to this shop again...

Absolutely horrible experience, I arrived at 16:45 (4:45pm) when it says online that it shuts at 18:00 (6pm) I tried to order a couple of toasted sandwich for my children. I was rudely informed by the young female that the place was still open but if I wanted a sandwich toasted I should have came earlier as the toaster needs cleaning before they shut the place. I queried the time it takes for them to clean the toaster and was basically met with if I didn’t like it, I could leave. I won’t be returning, lucky for me the one in Widnes town was open and they served me with no problems and a smile. I would recommend the owners do some training with staff (this young female in particular) about customer care and general manners.

I asked for the world record number of jalapeños on a sandwich and they didn’t disappoint. Literally so funny and made my brining working day better. Freya was the staff member. Thanks so much. No other local subway have ever understood the assignment.

I received great service every time i have come to this store. It is well kept, always very clean and the service is faster than usual. Thank you to Freya (i think her name badge said) who was really helpful with my autistic son. The girl with red hair (You didn’t have a name badge i’m sorry!) was also really lovely and delivered excellent service. Thank you Girls i will be coming back soon😄

I visited Subway on Sunday 30th January and i am pleasantly surprised at the great service. I Went there earlier that year and it was disgraceful!! I Was Served by Freya and her customer service was outstanding and willing to help everyone who needed it. The other staff where helpful and friendly. You can tell they store has really been turned around by all the staff. Will be coming back here, Thank you.

OMG who is the Manager of this place, all’s you see in here is a bunch of school kids running it, I visited here on Saturday 13th November, there was 1 very young girl doing everything behind the counter, making the sandwich, taking the payments, obviously quite new to the job, while 3 other young girls all congregating in the back, obviously in there own little click, as not one of them came out to help this young girl on her own, who I might say was doing the best she could under the circumstances, the place was very messy, tables with food all over them, I would not be surprised if this young girl who was doing everything already was also left to clean this up as well. I won’t be going back into this subway until it’s run by adults who care about customer service, clearly whoever owns this subway, clearly does not care about the standards of cleanliness or customer service, probably employing these kids for buttons. Good luck young girl who was DOING everything, hopefully you won’t be there too long, get a proper job, with proper nice people and a manager who also cares about there staff.

Food ordered online for delivery, took them 40 minutes to make two subs before it was ready for driver to collect. Food was cold when it arrived, barely toasted and the salad on the sub looked like it had been sat out all day. Avoid

Terrible service, had to wait a while despite no queue. Quality was even worse, subway was nearly inedible, over toasted, too little meat and salad may as well have been given in a seperate bowl to the sub. The bread also had holes in the bottom and the subway was wrapped horrendously causing all the salad dressing that was already hanging out to fall out. Not to mention the scouse fella that seemed to be a manager that was extremely rude and unhelpful

Ordered on line 3 sandwiches and 1 drink, every sandwich was made incorrectly and even the drink was the wrong one, I had to visit the shop to get the correct order remade! On arrival there was no one in the shop and 4 staff just stood around so it couldn’t be blamed on being really busy! Unbelievable!!

Hi. Terrible experience with this Subway store, Widnes, Fir park, Queensberry way. We ordered online to collect in store. When we arrived to pick up order it wasn’t ready. Then the lady making the sandwiches had a mask on but only under her chin not covering her mouth and nose. Then other customers came in not wearing masks, disgusting. The sandwich I ordered was totally cut through instead of halfway so when I picked it up all the filling fell out everywhere. Will definitely not return.

I go here regularly before work and the staff are always lovely, great service and good food. However I always dread walking in and seeing what I believe is the owner, he's rude and constantly berating his staff. Telling them how to do things in a really condescending manner in front of customers when there's nothing wrong. To top it off, he's made my sandwich twice and both times it was sloppy and awful, not a patch on the staff! Such a shame he brings the place down or it would be 5 stars!

Went to get lunch for me and my partner and the food was vile!! Didn’t have any heartily Italian left so I got a different type of bread which was so crusty and dry that it wasn’t even edible after it had been toasted. Majority of the staff were rude and didn’t even have the decency to say hello and welcome you in which is just poor customer service considering it’s a nice area!! Will not be ordering from this place again and none of the staff wore masks or hair nets despite COVID. And they didn’t even offer me a bag to carry my food in which is just out of order considering I had 2 footlong sandwiches, 2 drinks and snacks and made me pack my own stuff despite them having 3 staff on and them not being busy. Don’t even bother coming here because the people that work for this place obviously lack basic customer service skills and shouldn’t work in a food chain if their not gunna store food properly and not wear PPE.

Went to this branch after going to the one in the town centre which was very messy and the server was obviously in a bad mood. Lovely experience at Upton rocks in comparison. Young chap serving both helpful and polite. Restaurant was clean and tidy.

I visited this morning for breakfast, firstly I waited 20 minutes while two staff members served one customer in front. When I was eventually served I was informed that they had no sausages. I can understand that this can happen, but it appears everytime I go there is an issue so I can never get what I actually want. On a few occasions they have had no bread, another time the till wasn't working so they couldn't sell anything. In these situations why would you even open the shop. Its fair to say that I will never go here again because i am fed up with there always being something wrong, and wasting my petrol.

I would have given 0 stars if it were an option . Before discussing my own experience I would just like to mention how a customer in front of me who incidentally had waited approx 20 minutes to be served was informed by staff that they had ran out of Tuna. There was no apologies despite him being stood waiting with his young daughter, when he left I observe somebody else asking for a Tuna sub, again the server Luke I think is name was said that they had ran out of Tuna , another assistant female wearing glasses ( really rude) overheard him and informed him that there was tuna in the fridge so this customer ended up having his tuna sub . Feel sorry for the poor bloke who left with nothing after waiting 20 minutes despite the fact that they had a fridge full of Tuna . Right on to me :I ordered a 6” sub ham cheese with garlic butter . When paying for it I noticed that the girl had put it in bag with no top on the sub so just the bottom half of the bread . I asked her where the top of the sub was and she looked at me confused at me asking this, the other server (glasses) came over with an attitude and questioned me what was wrong . Due to her appalling attitude I asked her was it me that was going mad and why would they be confused about them thinking it was ok to put the bottom half of a sub straight in a bag with the cheese sticking to the polythene bag . Again the woman with the glasses was extremely rude and left me waiting for a new order , in the end a server girl with hair in plaits could see me waiting and redone my order . ( Server with the glasses defo not cut out for working with the public absolute appalling behaviour . If I were subway head office I certainly wouldn’t want somebody like this promoting the brand . I’ve come on to write this review only to find similar reviews of really unhappy customers. This is an absolute disgrace for people to be treated in such a way . The assistant in the glasses I have also witnessed in the past shouting at her colleagues in the kitchen in front of / loud enough for customers to hear . Needless to say I won’t be returning to this store until the staffing situation is resolved .

Would give 0 stars if able to .Ordered from here at weekend through ubereats. Ordered gluten free bread as suffer from coeliac disease and wheat allergy. Sandwich came clearly cut from a foot long bread. Had no reason to believe at this point that they would be stupid enough to disregard an allergy. I became very ill with severe pain. Have since found out that the gluten free bread only comes as 6inch and they totally ignored the allergy advice given with my order. Tried calling them to complain but all phone numbers listed are incorrect. My partners order was also wrong. Absolutely disgusted that they would think it ok to disregard a customers allergy....incompetent and dangerous!!

I Ordered a family meal for £17 via Just Eat, it still had not arrived 2 hours later. Subway Upton would not answer the call after repeated attempts. After waiting 40 mins on hold to Just Eat i told apologies they will assign it to a new driver? It's a sandwich how long does it take to place items on a baguette & deliver less than 2 miles away??? Needless to say i would not recommend the Non-esistant delivery service with Just Eat or any other delivery company they use as the communication is terrible. Now have to wait up to 5 days to be refunded, if this would happened in the street it would be theft taking money under false pretencies. Avoid at all costs.

Been here half a dozen times for convenience, it's almost impossible to actually get what you ask for, customer service is awful and the place is absolutely filthy all the time. The staff never change their gloves from one sandwich to another, the knives don't get cleaned properly and the staff shout from one side of a counter to another.

Terrible service, extremely rood member of staff was swearing behind the counter. Very dirty, spilled sauces on the counter not been cleaned up so it was getting on other sandwiches. You could see into the back room prep area and that had trodden in paper, napkins and food on the floor.

went in for a chicken and bacon flatbread and a coffee, really great polite friendly staff effiecient and quick service. even though it was evening. pleasent and clean resturant to sit and enjoy the meal, and catch up with friends over a brew. definately recommend a visit.

Went here on way home with my daughter around 6.30 pm. Awful service. One person serving. Took over 20mins to order then never had sub of the day ! Rubbish lying round on tables. Nobody to clear up. Couldn’t get WiFi so no points ! Won’t to back in a hurry.
