Disgusting!!!!! cold food when it arrived fit for the bin ,also took a hour and a half we live 5 min drive away also missing a can of Pepsi .

Tried the pizza and pasta last night and they was unbelievable, they was the best I have ever tried, I got the cajun chicken pizza and the spaghetti bolognaise and they were so fresh and piping hot, the staff were helpful and I did not wait too long for delivery. Amazing place

I enjoyed the donner calzone very nice and big pieces plus i enjoyed the milkshakes. I really would recommend thus takeaway.

If I could put 0 stars I would. Delivery time said 60 minutes. Took over 2 hours. Food completely wrong. 2 burgers and drinks wrong. Refused to give a refund. Offered to replace the food, but would have to wait for another delivery time. Absolutely rediculous. Will not be ordering here again.

Great place for pizzas, onion rings, chicken dishes, slice of cakes mmm all very nice and the also do 20 inch pizzas staff great as always plus I had to help my client as I am a P.A. for Personal Freedom Ltd and my client ordered from here and I had to help get his order to him and the Delivery Driver helped, he was amazing and fantastic as always

Ordered through the website, easy enough, 2 hours later had to call to see what’s happening, they guy was clueless on the phone then said 15 minutes and hung up still waiting nearly 3 hours later, AVOID THIS PLACE

Absolute dog poo, food average if it turns up, waited neary 3 hours now still not here, only 2 miles down the road, could have got a delivery by donkey from china quicker, rude when you phone to ask where your food is. AVOID

The worst food experience i have ever experienced in my life!! The pizzas and garlic bread looked like they took a detour on biggun at Blackpool before they came here definitely not edible (my son tried scraping it off the box lid and sides dirty beggar) Sauce tub lids were off so sauce was everywhere except the pot Chips said skin on in menu didn’t include not cooked either Garlic mushrooms were more like the consistency of a water balloon including the amount of water It was all cold! Only give 1 star because 0 wasn’t an option and when i rang them they offered to send replacement pizzas, they’re currently on their way (be about 2 hours mind) delivery driver wasted his timed because they’re going straight in bin! Lady on the phone is lovely though can’t fault her at all.

Ordered just a salad and hummus at 6.30 still not arrived two hours later at 20.35. Last time I ordered a tagine which was swimming in oil no veg pretty inedible and rice was dry and hard. Won't try ordering again.

We received a leaflet through the door and decided to give it a try, we ordered on the Euro cup final evening so expected a wait, it took 1.5 hours, the food was cold and the order was incorrect (chips missing). i called the shop and they said they would send the chips straightaway - 40 mins later they hadn't arrived to i called them to cancel the chips and asked for a refund - obnoxiously i didn't receive a refund for the chips! We decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and tried them again on Friday 26th July, awful service, takeaway delivery took 2 hours - yes you read that right, 2 hours. I called after an hour and was told it was just going out of the shop (obvious lie) i called back after a further 20 mins and was told it hadn't left and was next out (because they were busy). The food eventually arrived cold!! Sorry but you have had your chance i wont be using you again!

Waited 2 hours for an order turned up freezing

Absolutely shocking, ordered 5 meals at almost 7pm on a Tuesday (not exactly rush hour) waited OVER AN HOUR, forgot one of the meals, I phoned straight away and was told they would bring it it wouldn’t be long, 50 MINUTES later still nothing. Meanwhile someone is sat starving without their meal. Offered a free garlic bread but I’m sorry that’s atrocious, it’s over two hours wait for a relatively small order.

Very Bad for delivery it’s says it takes 45m but every time i order it’s delivered after an hour and half that’s not good at all.

I came to the UK for a vacation and decided to order some food from a couple of restaurants during my stay… and honestly not to exaggerate or anything but this restaurant is HANDS DOWN THE BEST restaurant ive gotten my food delivery from. Theyve got multiple options of traditional food cuisine which makes you more excited to try out different kinds of food, and thats exactly what ive done. The prices are beyond great for that kind of food, so i 100% recommend this restaurant for anyone whos a picky eater like me. :D

The best restaurant i’ve ever been to, the service is very fast and easy, everything is very clean and healthy unlike other fast food restaurants. The food is freshly cooked and is absolutely delicious! i truly recommend this place to anyone who wants freshly cooked meals! The best!!

Words can’t describe how amazing this place is! Honestly you cannot find this kind of food anywhere in runcorn or warrington! I went to the place myself to order a takeout and the place is so clean which made me want to eat, because i genuinely feel like if the place is clean that means the food is clean too and that’s exactly what i got! The food is top tierrr and the place is beautiful. Definitely will be ordering more in the next couple of days

Came all the way from london for this restaurant with my cousin.. and it didn’t disappoint!! The food is so delicious and it’s even better than i’ve ever thought.. i’ve seen a lot of traditional cuisines in London but none of them are like this one!!! The best of the best, only place i recommend if you want to get traditional cuisine in runcorn/warrington

AVOID ordered food online, for a call to say one option wasn’t available so swapped to another and offered a free drink. Waited 2 HOURS for delivery, no free drink and food was cold and like rubber!!! Not the first time this has happened to us from here!!! Will never order of these again

If you order on-line they take your phone number and you get marketing texts that you can't stop!!. The food took ages to arrive and wasn't great. I had the chicken supreme and it was basically tasted like a breast of chicken dumped in a pile of cream. I love cream but this was too much even for me.

Not been for a long time, stopped going as you were waiting 2 hours plus, food hit or miss

Food arrived in a reasonable time. We ordered the 3 x 9inch pizzas and a donner kebab. The pizzas were soggy and toppings had slid to one side of the pizza and fell apart upon holding. The kebab was stone cold pita was rock hard and inedible. Shame as previous experience good.

Will never order again, ordered food at 7pm, delivery said 40 minutes, it got to 8:30pm still no food, called at 8:45 they said food will be with us in 10 mins, it got to 9:30 still no food, called 13 times no answer straight to voicemail like they had turned the phone off, drove there myself to complain and get our food all he done was call the driver and told us he’s 2 minutes away, no sorry, nothing. got our food 3 hours later at 10pm. they claimed to be busy but when i went to chefway myself they were stood there doing nothing. never again.

Not recommended if you have an allergy or dietary requirement. They will charge you extra for an change to a pizza. Request removal of mozzarella to add feta cheese. So yes an extra toppings which on menu shows as 1.50 I was charged 4.00 for this with the rude explanation that feta costs more. But your menu states 1.50 for extra topping were do you get 4.00 from? Manager was rude and did not listen to a rational explanation. I will not go back this was a test run for a bigger future order which they will now close to a competitor.

Tonight we had a carbonara pasta instead of ham we asked for chicken which the staff was really helpful with, the food was delicious and really enjoyed it really would recommend🙂

This is the best food I’ve ever tasted. The staff are so helpful in deciding what to eat as their menu has tonnes of different options to choose from, I’ve never seen a menu with a variety of foods that they sell in Runcorn. It’s honestly the most amazing food I’ve ever tried and is now my new favourite spot in Runcorn. Very quick service, happy staff and huge portions of food. What you get is more than what you pay for, very generous with their portions. I got 1/2 chicken and rice with medium peri sauce and the chicken was so soft and tasty and the rice was fresh and hot. My friend ordered the Texas bbq pizza and they make it fresh in front of you like you are in Italy, everything about this place is amazing, very clean and spotless 😊😊😊

Took over 2 hour to come and the food was cold would definitely not recommend told me my food Will be here in 20 minutes 1 hour later it arrived freezing cold. The staff are very unprofessional and have not manners whats so ever

Given a plain burger rather than what was ordered. Delivery driver was sent back with refund, asked to check the food (presumably to ensure we weren't lying), then left with the food. Not the first time an order was wrong either. EDIT: Gave them another chance. Absolutely messed up the order again. Wrong and forgotten items despite collecting and asking the staff to confirm. Wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Dead fly found in food and then unresponsive

First of all food was rubbery freezing cold salad was left overs ask for th to pick food up and refund was button rang back said drivers on his way back out then rang bk as no show and he refused to give money back. We ordered for the first time via the app for this lovely looking menu . The order went through and said 45 minutes for delivery on a Monday evening. I phoned up after 1 hour asking for an estimate and nobody answered I tried about 20 times over nearly 2 hours with no answer. After two hours the driver came and I asked why is the food so late. He said its busy and we live far away. So why post menus through my door if I live far away. The food was nice but never again.

They saw my girlfriend was pregnant and gave us a free garlic bread but we go all the time , the food is lovely and price is really good for nice food , we will be back

Food was quite nice, perhaps overpriced for what it was but I appreciate everything has gone up. The place however was dirty, the small seating area had food/debris on the tables & floor & surfaces were very sticky... The bin was rammed full & the two staff members were just stood on their phones. It would have taken one of them 5 minutes to wipe the surfaces & empty the bin but they obviously couldn't be bothered or didn't care.

Order from here quite regularly food is always amazing would give 5 star as it’s the best fast food place in Runcorn out of kebab shops however sometimes when I order peri chicken they’ll lack on chips or sauce sometimes. There was a consistent period of my orders not turning up for at least 2 hours. Was advised to order direct from the website to save on cost of delivery but that’s when deliveries started turning up late but if I order through just eat paying for the delivery it’s normally early or on time... so hit an miss at the minute. [update] Seems like the longer the customer you are the worse it gets. Placed an order in which some chicken was out of stock they called immediately which Was good of them however it had been about 15 minutes when I realised I used the wrong address so I called back up to change it and they told me all the chicken was out of stock however if I had not called what would I have gotten? I had to give them my not so safe card digits just to get a refund and I was left hungry with no food as it was too late to order anything else. This is honestly the nicest place when it goes right it’s massively frustrating. Website is inconsistent with other food providers one thing will be out of stock on Uber eats but in stock on just eat feels like it's going downhill especially since the hygiene update too shame I still like this place. 2023 it’s gone great again really lovely food folded garlic bread with cheese is to die for however closed this evening for some reason unfortunate wanted to order again lol!

Food was awful! Haven’t ordered from Chefway- since last year, after awful service and food - - I was informed they had improved - don’t bother - didn’t get what I ordered ! Food cold -burger has no spice no Mexican cheese -- bland to say the least - etc etc - total waste of money! certainly won’t order from Chefway again !

Food took about 2 hours to arrive. Yeah it’s a Saturday night, so I get it’s busy (that’s why I put 2 stars instead of 1). When it came the sweet potato fries were cold and soggy. The chicken was really tasty. The cheesy garlic bread was slightly warm but the chicken in the kebab was mostly lukewarm at best but a few pieces were stone cold. Really disappointed.

Used to be ok untiil they took themself off just eat app I loved The greak salad from here tried calling many times to order but get sorry mailbox full and the website they own is far too basic to use Go back to just eat owners! Much easier for customers

Food good but delivery is shocking

Ordered 2 hours ago and still hasn’t came, told me they’d call back twice and didn’t.

Late , late , late !!!! Over 2 hours after the order was placed! No contact from the restaurant, unable to get through on the phone . No apologies from the driver on delivery. Absolute shame really as when the food did finally arrive after I had gone to bed it was actually nice .

Got the meat halloumi burger and the hot dog deal. Unreal scran, chips have red salt without any extras.

Got a call at the time the order should have been arriving to be told they had run out of chicken wings, waited around half an hour longer for the food, the 1/2 'Peri Chicken' was abismal, like it had been cooked and reheated, no peri peri to be seen on the 1/2 chicken and maybe waved past the grill... certainly not cooked fresh on grill at all, dont knowhow it was cooked but tasted awful - its gone in bin. The 'spicy rice' was awful, nothing spicy about it.. like some sort of microwave or packet rice..disgusting. I asked driver where the drinks were? he said in his car ... he left for some time and thought he had gone... came back about 10 mins later with the drinks which I suspect had been purchased from the local shop but could be wrong. The 'Peri Peri' strips I got to replace the wings were great, really fresh and cooked nicely, which is why I cant understand the half Peri chicken being so dreadful.

Beautiful food and fast service

It's difficult to get a pizza wrong. There is just no consistency, we always order the same thing but every time we get different pizza, guessing it's a different chef every time. Sometimes we get so much cheese on the pizza it makes us feel sick. Other times it's the best pizza we've ever eaten. Basically we are debating whether to order or not

Just ordered 10 chicken wings and rice always been great in the past but unfortunately bad rice was good but the wings slimy i feel as bit sick now gutted always enjoyed the food was always good hope if I order again it will be better but no time to order again soon

Love the Texas bbq and the burgers are soooooooo fittttt!!! I also can’t get enough of the hallumi and houmous. Always fast delivery 🚚 and nice staff ❤️ #chefwayisdelicious 🎉

Don't waste your time - order elsewhere. Waited 2 hours for food, when I rang to chase the girl was so snotty. Food finally arrived and it was stone cold. Called back 2 mins after delivery to request driver come and get the food and give me my money back. Half an hour later, no driver. Called to chase as up early for work in morning, the girl complained she was up early in morning too. I'm not arsed hun, I just wanted my money back. She hung up on me. Finally got my money back but throughout this 3 and a half hour joke not once did I receive an apology or goodwill gesture. Boycott!

Chicken is good, milkshakes are substantial and hit the sweet spot, halloumi fries are all batter and expensive. If you order at weekend, you'll be waiting a couple of hours for delivery and get no answer or a voice message when you call them.

Ordered at 5Pm it came at 6.40 cold fries ordered large there was about 5 fries, pizzas all upside down and a sloppy milkshake sent them back now 7.15 still nothing to eat

It's been over 3 hours and my food has still not arrived. I try to call the restaurant and I get an automated message saying 'this mailbox is full and cannot take any messages' then the call ends. I paid on my card and now have no way of refunding the order since I cannot call them. Terrible service.

Ordered on a whim when I saw them on UberEats. Delivered within the time stated, and the food was top notch! Chips were super tasty and crispy, and the Nutella & Strawberry waffle was out of this world! Only downside was that the tomatoes on the burger made the bun a little soggy, but I selected to have tomatoes on the burger. Will certainly be ordering from here again!

I ordered Halloumi Fries and a Pizza at 9pm - by 11pm nothing was delivered - unable to contact the restaurant as they were closed by then. No contact so far and no refund. I didn't receive any product so I am entitled to my money back, but nothing has been forthcoming so far. Another one off my list.

Always go to chefway for food. Best takeaway in Runcorn. Always fresh food and taste amazing. You pay for what you get, portion sizing is amazing always filling. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Top pizza and reasonable prices

After generally giving positive reviews on Just Eat and on Facebook, I literally don't know what went wrong tonight. Pizza are normally amazing. Verde pizza literally burnt. New one being sent Grande Meat pizza with BBQ base, was tomato base with BBQ squirted ontop. Literally looked like everything just thrown in middle not anything like normal standard, I have recommended you to so many people. I can safely say that won't happen again. New chef or what I don't no but not good, replacement pizza was frozen broccoli.

What can I say, Chefway truly stand out on their own. Order a pizza from any other 2 places down the old town and they’ll pretty much have the same toppings on offer, served on similar bases and with very similar tastes to boot. Ordering The Old Goat” pizza from Chefway has given me the closest Italian flavoured pizza experience I’ve had in Runcorn where it comes to toppings but on a New York style base. We also ordered the folded garlic bread (crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside) grilled salmon and chicken princess which were amazingly portioned, (3 steaks of salmon!) and cooked beautifully. And if that wasn’t enough, the friendly staff even helped us out to the car with the food as we clicked and collected. Food was THAT good, we all had a nap afterwards. Will definitely order again, but not making any plans for after dinner 😂

Absolutely awful, left your number for my mum and brother as they was baby sitting and thought chefway was a trusted company to order food, the management didnt want to know at all, the burger was full on burnt and the chips soggy and witches fingers and the hot dog stone cold. Not only that the customer service experience is awful and shocking and the manager was rude and not understandable!! I will never ever return to chefway again!!

I want to give 5 stars but food isn't always delivered straight from the oven! Really good food, tastes amazing. Best milkshakes in Runcorn! Pizzas are amazing, but they do let your pizza cool off a bit due to delivery times. Still warm enough to eat but would be better if it was delivered hot. Good, high quality food. The tagine is also brilliant.

Just ordered from here (on a Wednesday) food took over and hour to come and was cold by the time it did. Don’t think we will be ordering again. Waste of money most the food went to waste.

The problem with the place is that they think they can take on the world with orders and then let deliveries down. They need to stop taking orders when they have to many and when they have caught up then start taking orders again. This is not the 1st time deliveries have taken a very long time. Lady that answered the phone to me was very rude and put the phone down on me twice. Its a shame as the food is very good. They need to manage deliveries a lot better instead of taking as many orders as they can.

Order arrived over 2 hours after ordering. Food that arrived was cold and undercooked. Entire meal was missing. Really disappointing!
