Haven't been to a subway for two years and the food and coffee was fine but £6.28 for a six inch sub and a coffee is a rip off. Won't be going back. Greggs bacon roll and a coffee is half the price.

Walked in to collect my order and me being my jokey self I said “ can I be a little annoying and..” The worker on shift then stated “ what? What do you want?” I said “ please may I have 3 pots of chipotle sauce”. The worker then said “ oh you have to be that annoying” I then was checking my order ( 2 similar salads) and asked him “ is this chicken tikka it doesn’t look like it?”. The worker then said “ yeah it is” I said “ no it’s not this is chicken”. He said “ what? Do you want me to make it again? Ugh” I said “ yes please - let me just double check with my partner” He said “ I can add Tikka to it too” but as we wanted our order made correctly in the first place we asked him to make 2 fresh salads”. He then proceeded to make them, I thanked him. I then got home and seen one of the salads was wrong again, missing items and added items that shouldn’t be there. I took it back and he said “ what’s wrong now?” I said “ I’m sorry but it’s not right again, and explained my partner likes her food a specific way, she has got autism ” he then said “ how autistic is she?” I said “that Is not the point, we just expect our food made correctly”. I then asked him to remake my cheese bites as they were so cold. He made them but was very rude in his body language. The other worker who was not on shift ( very polite lad) nipped in to check on this worker to see how he was doing, he said “ I just wanna go home, I want to shut the shop” and again was very rude and made me feel very uncomfortable.

Staff were polite enough but the salad looked awful, cucumber was frosted, coke was flat and the whole place felt dirty. We went upstairs and were surrounded by flies so left and didn’t eat our food - actually put us off eating for a couple of hours. Very disappointing as we love Subway as a rule but will definitely not return to this branch. First negative review I’ve ever written but truly a terrible experience.

I shall be taking my complaint to the local newspapers the local authority environmental health trading standards and Subway head office. Between midday 12.20 to 12.50pm on Thursday 14th March 2024, I became victim to the most extraordinary outburst from some jumped up evil lowlife repr*bate, I could not believe the display from some disgusting unprofessional VERY aggressive staff worker who had the nerve to bad mouth me to different sets of customers visiting the store the entire time I was sitting in the upstairs dining area at the venue. He had the audacity to loudly slander me to all the customers who walked through the front entrance downstairs which I could hear him blatantly doing. He was telling customers a pack of lies, distorting the truth, embellishing and twisting the truth and flatly abusing me, just because he disagreed with me taking down a few chairs stacked up on tables upstairs, I did not understand why it would be such a big deal????? Who the h*l* does he think he is???? So when there was a gap between customers coming into the building, this nasty piece of work came upstairs steaming in a temper and started lifting those heavy reinforced steel metal chairs back on the tables and yes you guessed it..... banging them on the table tops as angrily and as hard as he could. There was NO signage to avoid causing confusion to customers to let customers know the reason why the upstairs dining area cannot be used, it wasn't under any refurbishment and there was nothing to suggest why the upstairs dining area wasn't in use. The pathetically behaved worker told me "it was obvious the customer dining area wasn't to be used by customers, and told me that he "wasn't going to argue" and "it wasn't up for debate" he proceeded to state I was in the wrong, interrupting me so I couldn't get a word in edgeways, before heading back downstairs. He was so obsessive about it, that he actually left the store, upon abandoning the store unstaffed, while a single female customer's bread was burning in the toaster, yes you read that correctly, he even left the store to go outside to tell someone on the pavement, i suspect it was someone he knew, bearing in mind the same story he already told approx three to four sets of customers he previously served inside, as he continued his pointless, outrageous and nonsense rant. This raving l*natic worker was told if the area cannot be used it should be blocked off or it needs to show a sign. But the simpleton wasn't listening, he made up his "mind" that he didn't have to engage with a customer or be civil with me, therefore it was easier for him to get a few laughing, giggling, biased and unassuming customers ordering takeouts / takeaways downstairs to take his side and let him convince them ( not that it took much convincing ) that I was the problem, the burden, that I should somehow feel guilty, exploiting me like I'm some sort of dangerous criminal vandalizing private property, which of course couldn't be further from the truth. The reality was, he is a trouble causer, he was the one being difficult and problematic, his behaviour was threatening, provoking, intimidating, unsafe and thoroughly reprehensible. He had NO BUSINESS behaving in such a way, and NO RIGHT to speak to me or be discussing me to complete strangers who were none the wiser of the situation they 1.could not see, 2. were absent of the facts and 3. Ignorant, with regards to company practices. I travelled to the Fleetwood branch of subway, the same day, furious. I consulted with with two subway staff management workers over this young man's behaviour in the Market street branch and they both confirmed he was NOT ALLOWED TO STOP CUSTOMERS EATING UPSTAIRS WITHOUT A VALID REASON OR EXPLAINATION. I was also advised there should not be broken discarded machines and large plastic wheely size bin bags full of miscellaneous junk dumped on the floor around customer seating area. Subway supply chain, employ better quality more suitable staff, who are trained to work in hospitality food service.

Staff rude in manner and seemed irritated that I ordered something off the new menu even more irritated when we had a voucher to redeem. We went upstairs because we were eating in and there was nowhere to sit downstairs and although some chairs were on tables it was evident others had been eating there so we used the facilities and were about to eat when we were told abruptly “it’s shut up here” not excuse me I’m really sorry this area is closed but there is some room downstairs now. We had to re wrap our subs and squash onto a table with little room downstairs. The lad serving was loudly slagging off poor Dave who is crap at closing up so he couldn’t understand why he gets that shift. The sub he made was less than average with way too much pesto which was mostly oil because he didn’t shake the bottle and the other sub was swimming in sauce my son left most of it. All in all a really unpleasant experience as a local. I will stick to our regular Subway in future on Whitegate Drive; far superior to this shambles. I guess this is more of a tourist shop where they don’t expect return trade so it doesn’t matter about customer service, manners or general decorum.

Went for some lunch before going to Blackpool Tower Circus. When we got to ordering the drinks having had the subs already made was only then told that there was only Tango in the drinks machine (none of the 4 of us like Tango), we were offered a bottle instead out of the fridge but all of the bottles were warm (was advised they only filled up the fridge 10 minutes earlier!). Went upstairs to eat and it was frankly disgusting (we went in at 12.30pm!). The ladies toilets were closed and the gents was so bad you could smell the foul odour in the seating area.

Although the food was good and staff were courteous. When we went to sit down upstairs, due to the downstairs being busy. All chairs stacked on tables bar the two seater we chose, The table was dirty and I cleaned this myself with my hand sanitizer and baby wipes. However the floor was filthy. This was a holiday visit from Chesterfield and we are not used to this poor standard of cleanliness.

Quick service and plenty of seats available but did start to fill up while we were eating. The two lads serving were polite and friendly. My wife used the toilet but when she came back she said the floor was swimming and the toilet roll had run out but someone had put a spare one in which was on the floor doing its best to absorb what ever was slopped on the floor. The dinner area and service are good but you are being let down in other areas.

I used to love to call here for lunch always spotlessly clean and friendly staff however for what seems months now the coffee machine has been unavailable with a plethora of excuses from running out of milk to its being cleaned to just plain “it’s broken “” come on guys sort it out ! You are losing lots of money and inadvertently ultimately your jobs

We dropped in for a quick bite to eat during our visit to Blackpool in October half term and although the subs were great, can't really go wrong with a subway mind can you. Down side no drinks and no crisps. Ended up going elsewhere for the rest of our meal.

We visited as a family of four for an early lunch as we had an early start and a long drive to Blackpool. Arrived at around 11.30am. There was only 1 member of staff serving (credit to him - he was doing a great job). However there was only a limited selection of fillings available for the sub (there was a sign-up) and then when we got to the sauces we also found out that they had hardly any of these either. Did not have our choice of cookies and when we went to pay and redeem our sub points, we were advised that they did not permit redemptions of sub points and we would have to pay for our meal in full!!!!! We did eat in and the premises were very clean, however we would not return to this branch of Subway again.

We'd spotted this as we parked in the Central Car Park and so came back for a lunch Sub after we'd been up the Blackpool Tower. It's the usual Subway stuff - service a bit slow as it was busy and not a lot of seating but we all had our favourite Sub and a drink and it set us up for the afternoon walking the promenade.

So...... Me and my Wife to be had been shopping for our wedding rings. We called in for a bite to eat. They were closing in 2 hours so plenty of time. We ordered and then asked if they had toilets. Yes they did...Amen as my pregnant wife to be was desperate. We was told that the toilets had just been cleaned and now couldn't be used and this was Subway policy..... Surley not? Even a policeman will tip his hat for a pregnant woman to release herself. I can not believe the extent the modern day worker will alleviate work load for an easier life even though the retail industry is suffering through bad customer satisfaction. It's a disgrace and if I run my multi million pound dealership like this we would not ever do business. Subway get it sorted this is wrong and inhuman.

Asked for cheese and ham. One slice of ham was a funny colour. Said I didn’t want it so the server put it back in the tub! Eeek not great! Asked for 2 coffees was told there was no milk?? This was about 1pm - think she couldn’t be bothered to go and get a new milk from store room. Only 2 staff seemed to be working so they were busy. Had gloves on - but same gloved hands made sandwiches, took cash etc

I use this subway the most in blackpool and i always get great service , the assistant manager is a credit to subway. A worker there said to me she couldnt redeem my subcard points so this meant that i had to buy my meal , when i could of had my sub from my subcard. This was completely dissapointing but as i said the assistant manager sorted this out the bext time i went into the shop.

Visited here for a mega melt breakfast sub , advertised at£3-20p with a drink.When the lady finished my order she said it was £3-40p , when I told her it was advertised at the lower price she said she’s only just started and that was the price. My wife and I used the Subways both in Fleetwood Freeport Monday 16th July and Blackpool Tuesday 17th July. Both clean and good value and clean toilets and tables. Very handy at lunch times if your peckish. We both agreed the coffees were excellent and the meal deals hit the spot. Staff at both Subways were friendly.

On the board it said you could have a 6inch sub and a drink for £3 i ordered 3 for the journey home.when i went to pay the girl on the till said that will be £9.90 i said why it says £3 for sub and drink the reply was you've had the drinks in plastic bottle so its 30p extra doesn't say that on the board i know its only 90p but that's not the point it should be made clear.

Such a shame that they opened this here as it's far too small. They have two single tables that make the place look cluttered and cramped and when it as about five people in there it is crowded. This puts people off and I watched around 10 people walk in, look at the queue then walk out again. They only have a disabled toilet which is hard to access due to the single table in the way. Apart from that the place is a typical subway store. The staff are helpful and friendly enough. The food quality is as it should be. I would use this again but if I walked in and more than 5 in line I wouldn't hang about either due to the cramped feeling.

I ordered a chicken Tikka and i said i wanted a meal deal with it and they did not give me a meal deal at all! they gave me mayonnaise when i wanted bbq sauce and they gave me black olives when i wanted onions! They were Cocky and arrogant, I will not be going back there ever again it was the worst experience of my life and i will tell my friends to go somewhere else except SUBWAY ON MARKET STREET BLACKPOOL!

This was very much another Subway. The staff were young and friendly. Be careful on the timings though. They claim to be open until 11pm. When I called there at 9.30pm, they said I could only have a take away. This didn't bother me as that's all I wanted anyway, but they were clearing up and mopping the floor at 9.30pm? It's in a very handy location for a bite to take away.

Very clean friendly.ny nieces always have a sub wayat least twice a month,this is the first time i have had one.My subway was a veggie deli.the young man had done my family's first,then changed his glove ,which i was impressed with.i think they have made a new customer of me.

Just been to meet a friend for coffee at starbucks in the main entrance .where I was served by Matt . What an absolute delightful, helpful and extremely cheerful individual. He made a horrible wet and windy day turn into a ray of sunshine. Look forward to being served my coffee by him again ☕👌

Went to get some shopping, no staff on checkouts, I had to ask for one to be opened, after some excuses they opened one. straight away another customer joined the queue. Staff member said Kim the manager did not want customers to use checkouts to keep staff numbers low in the morning (9am). A third person joined the queue and was told checkout was closing due to management and use self checkout.

Used to go here decades ago when it was called “Winmarith”. car park was empty so didn’t bode well, however, very pleasantly surprised. Called Saturday lunch for a quick bite whilst out and about. Tried some tapas off the menu and was very tasty. The lady who served us was very nice, explained some things on the menu and was attentive, but not overly so. Will certainly pop back again for a drink and tapas.
