Happy had great customer service and the atmosphere was very nice. Food tasted very fresh and good.

I ordered a plant based patty sub and it arrived with some sort of dry vegan meat replacement instead and was also missing the cheese and cucumber and barely had any sauce in it. On top of that, the bread was stale and tasted like it had been left out for a day at least. Also received the wrong cookie. Really a complete waste of money, I usually love subway but what I received from this branch was very unsatisfactory.

I went to eat at Subway today... Large and super full sandwiches... Helpful staff.. And the lady at the cash register was very sweet, helpful and prepared... With all these ingredients I will be back soon with my friends and family .... Very good

The older lady is super lovely and does a great customer service, proposing extras cookies. Kudos to Subway for hiring people of diverse ages and supporting them in the work market 👏

The person who served us was very unpleasant, we arrived at 11 a.m. and there were already missing ingredients even though the service had barely started. A piece of advice Go your way.

I went to this store 10 times out of which 6 times they were running out of plant based patty and vegan garlic sauce. I wonder if they intentionally keep a low stock of their most popular item. I ordered a plant based patty meal online and they put vegan steak instead. That was a waste of my £10.48. I literally chucked it into the bin. Staff is amazing and very helpful but I think the store manager is useless.

Would never ever go again walked in and was told my service dog wasn't allowed in unless it was a guide dog I have type 1 diabetes and have to have my service dog with me at all times due to my sugar levels flutuating and I do not appreciate people like the 2 woman in subway today (27/12/23) telling me I had to leave and wasn't allowed the dog in the shop well in future state this on your website

The store is supposed to be open till 7 p.m. but the store is not allowing anyone to sit in after 6 p.m. that too during December cold :( Whats happening Subway? Disappointing to face this after walking 15 mins to get here.

If you’re used to subway in the states… this is not that. Very low-quality ingredients are thrown together by kids who obviously have somewhere better to be.

Today i ordered from the app, when i went into collect one of the staff members told me they don’t actually have the ingredients for the one i ordered so they can make me a new one, the member of staff, unsure of name, was really kind about it and i have social anxiety hence ordering on the app but she was patient with me when i was trying to order something else, she was extremely kind and helpful.

Serously poor service and bland food, inside cold outside hot zero taste, ordered a latte i got one inch of coffee in a cup when i complained they topped it up with milk, well i say topped up they did put some in.

Absolut ineffektiv und langsam.

Fast and efficient. Can't falter the subway system they got going on. The menu is a big complicated though if you don't know what you are after.

The very definition of slow. 2 out of 4 of Staff unable to communicate effectively with customers and seemed completely disinterested in actually working. Avoid this place if you are hungry because you are likely to die of starvation before getting served! Management...what are you doing?

Partner bought a B T Sub for breakfast. Staff were great, sub was tasty and he would have it again. Clean environment and a nice subway. Opposite the gardens which would be a nice place to eat it as well but there is seating inside

I love Subway, but why is it that vegan choices are always limited? There is more chance of seeing an elephant flying than walking in a subway and finding a vegan pattie sub. Give more vegan patties and halal choices subway!

While sitting there eating, I saw one of the members of staff picking their nose - unfortunately it was the same person who had made my meal. I couldn’t finish my food after that 🤢

Visited a couple of times on my lunch break and each time it's been very slow service. This time there was no queue in front of me and I was waiting at least 15 minutes; my order was started (just the bread was cut) before the lone server moved onto doing another order and I was left waiting until another member of staff arrived, and even then it was still slow service. There was also only one type of bread available today. If i do want subway in the future I'll either be going to another store or ordering via the app.

I go to this store roughly every day.But not from today again. I was in the store this evening at 7:50. No customer service and very rude. some guy was in the store he is very rube that .. it’s closing time so he want to close the store before time. So didn’t serve me when the food is ready. Visited my local Subway while on a quick 30 minute lunch break, hoped to be in and out quickly however ended up waiting 35 minutes! Upon entering there was only 3 people waiting so expected to be served quick. There was one serving and a queue of people stated gathering. The girl seemed stressed, lacking knowledge and slow at serving. There was another Subway staff member sitting having a lunch break at one of the tables but she had no intention of finishing early to help her colleague out. Terrible representation of teamwork. Clearly the store is under staffed and needs more training urgently. Also there was limited bread options, only Italian was available - nothing else. At peak lunch time this is not acceptable for a busy central city store. Most of the tables were dirty and needed cleaned and the floor was filthy. The store manager need to address these problems promptly or they will have no customer soon! With improvement I do believe this Subway could be a really profitable store due to its prime location.

Extremely disappointed, my thought are you can never go wrong with a subway however with this branch. Not the case ! None of the tables had been cleaned the staff behind the counter were rude, extremely slow and never seemed to know what they were doing. Our subs came out rock solid and was no enjoyable at all!! Also the cherry on top, all addition tables and chairs against the front door ! This will be limiting disabled access and is a fire safety hazard !

My wife and I went to subway on Tuesday 9th August at around 6 pm and the store didn’t have anything! I mean anything, only 1 type of bread, no meat except ham and no lettuce, olives or tomatoes, it would have been fine, but why have the store open then? We returned on the following day because wife had serious cravings of subway and guess what!?!? It was the same thing only this time they didn’t even have cheese and it was earlier (5:30 pm). To top it all off on both days they only had 1 person behind the counter and they look seriously under pressure, poor people, I felt bad for them. So basically, it never has food and the place is seriously understaffed. AVOID

I like subway, You always know what you will get . Great sandwiches snacks and drinks at very affordable prices. Its a pity that the surroundings you have to eat the food in are so basic and spartan. Great place for a quick fix if in a hurry. Snack stop only.😳

We arrived at 7:30 p.m., there were very few ingredients and the employees were cleaning up the place, when it closes at 9:00 p.m. They treated us very badly, with bad faces and in an unfriendly way. not wanting to work. We were not allowed to sit on the premises. negative experience. 0/14/2022

Food quality was almost nice but service was terribile. 20 pounds for a really little slice of bread with chicken and a pepsi. They even gave me an half wrong order. Avoid it. Sub fans should grab a bite, value for money and more options for vegetarians and vegan people available now. Toilets are clean and you can sit inside and enjoy your meal. The staff is quite new so be humble enough to guide them.

I used to really enjoy my meal however now you have to ask the staff to change their gloves before they serve you. I also had to ask for more lettuce as not much was added to my meal.

Came here today. To wait in a 15 minute queue, only to be told they didn't have meatball marinara. Some signage would save people waiting unnecessarily these lengths of time when no product availability. Best of it is had travelled from the gyle because that's another one that NEVER has meatball marinara either!

Subway, as in all cities, is a good place to eat a healthyish sandwich at affordable prices. On the downside, this store didn't have any coffee options to drink, which was odd as the other franchises offer it.

The staff doesn't know what to do. Charged me separately a footlong+ drink + cookie when I always order that as a meal deal. Also, had to explain what a footlong is. They have no clue.

Visited whilst staying in Edinburgh. We were served by a great member of staff who was very helpful. I have forgotten his name but it was Thursday 27th of January at about 10.00 am. Just like to say thank you again. Will definitely return.

Had better subways in the past. The bread was really hard/tough. Not sure if stale or had been toasted for too long. Filling was ok.

The food was okay. Ice cream was melted, brought back to exchange for another one. Staff member in black shirt was extremely rude, believe her name was “Hajal”, didn’t even apologise for the melted ice cream, just bluntly stated “They are all the same.” The drinks with our food were child size, didn’t give us options on what size drink we’d like. Unsatisfactory, would not recommend. Staff need to check the temperature of their freezers and be reminded of courteously service.

Went to subway had the spice Italian did not have the meat for it asked for white coffee no milk rediculous for early Saturday lunch time and with the market on .Who ever is ordering the stock is incompetent .

The manager was a bit with attitude and not organized as the food came not very hot as usual. Staff didn't know what to do as they where asking each other what to do. It was actually the wrong place to be at that moment. Not the usual fast food subway.

Food was OK but toilet was very dirty I don't think it had been cleaned for days and the table I was sitting at had stains on and there was a dead wasp on the floor and the floor was very messy

No notices any where about not accepting scottish notes waited in line for 10 mins to be told its company policy not to take them. Presumably their scottish outlets give food out for free?

Delicious food, tables available inside and outside, unlimited drinks, polite staff, everything is clean and fresh, toilet inside. Great place to fill you up! The Subway app is very useful, with lots of offers and bonuses.

Worst subway I've ever had. Women couldn't cut bread to save her life

Start off with chicken salad box, went to park to eat had to go back as chicken was still frozen! Walked all way back complained and replaced. Thought I would give them another chance so visited again chicken salad ordered ready to pay asked for cutlery was told cannot give any out and should have been advised of this before ordering, server tutted and looked for a fork, muttering under her breath. Third and definitely final visit, 2 servers making up pre ordered food, not once did either look up and acknowledge the waiting customers, no apologies etc to use all, so I walked out. 3 strikes and out. Found alternative subway near Greyfriars Bobby. Eat at Subway due to certain foods / ingredients I can only eat. Will never order from there again, the staff are very rude and unhelpful with a dirty environment

I wish I hadn't. I ordered a meal deal, I was told the next server would deal with it. I payed and said it was a meal deal only to be told I should of asked a second time. The girl was very rude. I will not return

Friendly staff and the order was ok. I asked for a footlong and they helped me how I can order it in the best way. I guess there are no toilets there but this was ok. In general taste was really delicious and I would come again. Buy the total price of 8.40£ for a drink sub and cookie is compared to other foods just a bit expensive. The location is good and you have enough space to eat inside. All in all I would prefer this place and I would come again. Its directly in the city centre and its a good location to make a stop for a meal. See you soon

Avoid at all costs !!! Terrible management, far too many people in charge !!! Supervisor called Gagan refused to give me a paper cup for my child saying they cost money!! Would have gladly paid!! Toilets?!?! OMG full off Sh*t absoltuely disgusting!!! Again gagan claimed its customers Who have done this... her words were 'what can I do?' Put an out of order sign on the door !! So customers don't have to witness that !!! For food place to have such a disgusting toilet right next to where they serve is well out of order !!!

Waited 20 minutes to move 2 places in the queue. No fault of the staff, management for some reason had put only 2 staff on a Saturday lunch time first weekend after being allowed to open! Ridiculous! They were rushed off their feet with deliveroo drivers piling in. No manager in sight so we walked out!

We wanted a little snack as we we were on a shopping trip and happened upon this little place.We decided to try the little toastie rolls.We really enjoyed them.They only come in four varieties and you get limited salad and sauce but they are a perfect size.So if your not a big eater or a child they're really tasty.We also had the nachos which were also surprisingly good

Just been in this store ... the staffs attitude is disgraceful.. a homeless person harassing my son at the outdoor tables and staff refusing to make more Tuna for our rolls ... I won't ever be back at this particular subway !!
