Subway in Monmouthshire

Ordered 2x Footlong and the Furious Chicken was incorrect size and was nothing but salad that got thrown away due to how nasty it tasted. If you can't be bothered do it correctly should of just left it off the order.

Didn't even deliver my stuff I ordered. Tried calling after waiting an hour no one tried contacting me either to let me know what had happened. No refund abit of a joke

Yesterday I visited in Stoke beach near railway station subway and staff were very disappointed and very bad behaviour I just also ask for extra sauce because I like spicy and they rejected and tell me you are not allowed next time in subway what is this rubbish ? I m very disappointed with your staff that boys are told me I am supervisor and you not allowed next time . Why? It’s not free I paid so why that guy was told me this thing. Please I request you subway team that staff to leave please . We not order next time

I general think, customer service skills can be improved for the young ladies who work behind subway. Also one young ladies went on there phones and after did not wash there hands which was disgusting. Which in my eyes it would be called Food safety Pratices and handling with care.

I had an awful experience at this Subway . The server, Mani, was extremely rude and unhelpful. When I asked about a 50% off offer on a footlong, he told me to download the app. After downloading, I asked for help navigating the app but he ignored me twice, prioritizing cleaning tasks despite there being 45 minutes until closing and no other customers. When I asked for help again, he rudely told me he was busy and to just order if I couldn't find the offer. He then insulted me, questioning if it was my first time at Subway and why I didn't know how to use the app, which was incredibly embarrassing. When I inquired if he was having a bad day, he admitted he was covering someone else's shift. To make matters worse, he made my order with minimal chicken and sauces, resulting in a dry, unappetizing sandwich. Avoid this location at all costs.

Wow! Must be the only subway in the area that gets the order right, delivers in fantastic time and to top it off the delivery guy was the most friendliest person which makes all the difference. Thank you!

Driver was super polite and friendly and delivered extremely quickly, he varied who I was quickly as well, very good service.

Cold food and hour late delivery

Serves until 10 but the seating area closes at 7… didn’t fancy eating outside in the cold because they wanted to close their seating area three hours early!

food was so terrible and the customer service was so disappointing the bread was run out and then the chicken tikka was cold the way they served it was awful . all together i hardly giving 1 star to this place

Didn't toast my sub, gave me the wrong cheese, and surprisingly for the shop known for it's customisation, very limited customisation options. Every other just eat seller does better with customisation.

Bad Subway food. The seating area is clean, however the two girls behind the counter were rude to customers and making nasty remarks about customers between themselves.

Bread was stale, meatballs were freezing cold but the rest of the sub was warm, not sure how? Lettuce was extremely soggy and limp. Garlic cheese bread had no garlic on, and the tiniest sprinkle of cheese on and again it was stale. Seen a better sandwich made by a 5 year old which is impressive because as soon as the wrapping came off everything fell out. Never ordering from this store again!

Courier not reading the request I put it to call my phone

Had a chicken teriyaki from here which gave me a touch of food poisoning, not surprised looking at the place its not the greatest in cleanliness but when you're in a rush needs must, when getting served the lad on the till was quite alright, but the girl serving was a nightmare she was so rude and obnoxious, I asked what drink I could have with the meal deal and she said any cup drink or water, so I said it doesn't matter I wanted a robinsons and the girl in a very rude manner said "I just said that", she clearly didn't as the lad on the till rolled his eyes and said she's having a bad day..not my problem I'm afraid, you took the job so try doing it properly..I will not be visiting this subway again after this experience!

Missing items, but what came was fine

The food was okay.. It was cold when it arrived and one of the sub's weren't even toasted!! The delivery driver was fine except the predicted time was at like 9:40 however it arrived at like 10. Apart from that everything else was fine.

Driver didn’t deliver my food! Said it has been delivered when it hasn’t paid money for it and not received any food at all. Disgusting

Delivery was fairly quick, but when I ask for toasted I expect it, hence the reason for quick delivery I guess!

Quite like the subs here. Like the ham with cheese and poached egg. Tried the gravy for the first time and thought it had a peculiar taste so wouldn’t buy again. Also tried the pigs in blankets and they were ok. Edit/ just received a bad sub. Not using this place again. Whoever made this doesn’t care. Much worse than the others Despite saying I wouldn’t go back, I did! 8 months later. Haha. 6/10. Ok.

I have been in a pit of misery and all I wanted was a good sandwich. That’s not always achievable, but Winton House managed it for me and whoever is there thank you so much. I needed that good sandwich.

Food was fine as always. But I told the poor girl I would tip her (she was polite unlike most drivers!) here but don't see any option to?! Now I feel bad about it.

Nothing of note. The girls in there were friendly, they made the food quickly, it tasted fine - like any other subway (not my first choice for food but was all that was available in a town I'd not been to before and was hungry and in a rush 🤷🏽😁)

i come here a lot. the food is subway so you can’t really complain about it , the staff are usually very friendly. but today was awful , i ordered my sandwich and it was a set sandwich , i then asked for a few salad items to be swapped which clearly isn’t difficult but the staff member decided to say “could’ve just said that” when repeating what salads i wanted. i then went to pay and i asked to scan my subcard and the woman proceeded to say to her colleague “could’ve just said before hand” and then left me to pay without saying thanks or anything. i don’t know their names but they are twins i think , they’re so rude and impolite everytime i come here. they make me not want to come anymore.

Food was lovely as it always is but but today decided to try the new big breakfast sub. This was sent with no bacon. Little disappointed as this was not the correct sub.

The food was lovely, as usual, but I ordered a tub of meatballs, wedges and a garlic bread slice; all of which were completely cold, not even lukewarm. I appreciate that the food has to 'travel', but maybe it would be an idea to have an insulated bag for warm food?

Rubbish service here says you can only have hot side for your free side even though I have been to both in Hanley and they said I could get any snack, pathetic ruined my day

Everytime I order from here they always get my order wrong, today orderd a tuna sub and they put bbq sauce all over it and killed the sub absolutely disgusting why they would do that idk was told to request a refund and reorder but refunds take upto 5 days.... I'll just never order or recommend this place again Should of just sent me a replacement sub as it was your screw up not mine. Delivery was quick only good thing

Small portions, burnt bread, mid taste - not the worst food in the world but not been consistently good here by any standard. The vegan steak was pretty decent.

Stale bread, mixed the order completely up and didn't eat any of it. Straight in the bin!

Listed closing time as 10pm which was confirmed by the owner a week ago, I arrive at 9:40 and the door is locked.

The food was horrendous. The wrap was toasted - however, supposed to be toasted without the salad on. The lettuce, tomato and cucumber were really hot - as you can imagine it was horrible and I had to throw it away. The salad box my colleague had, was horrible the lettuce and spinach was wilted and was just not enjoyable, half of this was thrown away.

I'm not really bothered too much about the late delivery time it was the lack of respect that I received from the driver. He could not find my address so kept driving around my street, I ended up going outside in the snow to find him to which he started yelling at me and blaming me for him not finding my house. He did not attempt to call me and I was in shock as to how he treated me, I will be very cautious to order from here again if this is the behaviour of the drivers.

I have honestly been to most subway stores in Staffordshire, this one is now the worst. Multiple bad experiences

The girl seving us was lovely, polite and curtious, however, the manager on the other hand was ranting and swearing at her, said the f word multiple times and said she was stupid. Absolutely appaulling bullying behaviour and needs sacking!

Good location, not much else about. Reasonably friendly staff. I think they changed the layout and the queueing area feels very claustrophobic and narrow. The drink machine was out of order so I had to pay extra for a bottle, that's not right. When I got the bottle it was warm, and I asked for a different bottle, but it too was warm. They may be trying to save on electricity but it's just annoying for customers and leaves them with a bad taste.

Teriyaki chicken overly salty than normal as this is what I usually have. Unable to eat the sandwich due to the salty taste. Requested sensations Thai chilli and they replaced with doritos cheese which I dislike so I have wasted my money on that.

I waited ages for my food so I called the restaurant and they told me how the food has been ready for about 20/30 minutes they are still waiting for someone to pick it up

Overall a terrible experience; Staff were incapable of listening to the fact I couldn’t have cheese and I had to request multiple times to have it taken off, The nachos were cold and staff attitude is terrible from the two women working the main station.

It's subway, you cant dislike a subway. The place has really turned a corner since my last review, staff here are wonderful. Very helpful and they go the extra mile for complicated orders, the food is great and it's somewhere good to go when you miss a train.

The delivery driver gave us our food, but when we opened the bag some items were missing. The driver drove away before we could ask. We phoned the restaurant but they said they couldn't do anything and told us that we had to contact Just Eat not them, despite them being the ones who made the food. When contacting just eat for our problem, all we could do was email them and not phone them, and were told we would get a response in 2 to 3 days. How is that going to help when the food is delivered today? Despite the food being nice, we didnt get all the items we paid for, and the overall service to amend our problem has been poor.

Staff seemed ready to close the store even though it was supposed to be open for more than another hour after our visit. The footlong sandwiches we rushed and not cut in half as is usual at Subway stores.

It’s a subway so you get what you get nice food but my review is 2 stars because of the obnoxiously rude worker who, when I was deciding what to have, made me feel like she was rushing me because she can’t be bothered to do her job let alone put on a smile. Dark hair, didn’t get her name but not a good look for customers, actually sped ate my food just to get away from her, think she even muttered something about me to her colleague which I didn’t catch.
