Subway in Carlisle

Been ordering the same meal for roughly 40 years, but these clowns said it can't be done. Had a meal as i was hungry., next day, went to another subway, got my usual with no issue. Love subway, but don't go to this one in Carlisle, near the lanes.

Staff were miserable. Food was thrown into boxes. Not a good experience. Won't be going back

The customer service is really terrible , there is lady who is least bothered about the customer or what I would want I had to ask three to four times on making my sandwich looks she doesn’t even wanna work there . Never going back ever again such rude behaviour wouldn’t recommend at all

Old man and teenage girl behind counter today laughed at my 13 year old while she was ordering her food today .no need .if you dont have customer service skills find another job.disgusting behaviour

A very good subway. The queue can be long but the food is always high quality especially for the price. You can take out your food in a paper bag they provide, or eat in on two floors. The upstairs dining area is a little cramped but nice, and has some seats with a window view. It has two public toilets, a ground floor accessible toilet without need for a radar key, and one upstairs gender neutral toilet. Both have always been quite clean.

This place needs shutting down.....its filthy

Lesley clearly has a disgusting attitude problem and thinks it's acceptable to try and argue that when we ask for just cheese and pepperoni actually, that means cheese, pepperoni and sauce. We said no sauce, very clearly. "No this is cheese and pepperoni" before then throwing the sandwich ingredients around like a child having a tantrum. Like I said are you actually for real? Then left. Someone needs sacked. I take it that Lesley is the manager or supervisor and don't expect anything to come of this. Setting the example of awful customer service 10/10 for that.

Lesley shouldn’t even be working there she was very moody and unhelpful with teenagers in the shop , very disappointed Lesley sort it out.

Tasty food and wonderful customer service from Lesley. Highly recommend.

Very friendly lass on duty, showed alot of patience while I dithered with what I wanted to order. Although, being back paprika bread!!!!!

Called late in day,wife and I, two nice ladies serving,food always good and consistent, coffee much nicer than the other fast foods, very pleasant on a sunny day.

Always have room to eat a subway and my tip is to get A subcard plenty of perks and free food/drinks to be had

IT IS GETTING WORSE WE HAVE BEEN IN OVER THE LAST FEW MONTH BUT 3 WEEKS AGO ON SUNDAYS WE HAVE SEEN YOUNG PEOPLE IN THERE THROWING MILK AROUND ALSO FOOD AND I COURT ON BOY ABOUT 15 HE HAD GOT A FEW CONTAINERS OF MILK HE WAS THROWING IT ALL OVER THE TOILET WALL AND FLOOR I TOLD HIM TO GET OUT AND HE WENT OUT SIDE AND THROWING MILK ON THE PAVEMENT OUT SIDE ON THE 3 SUNDAY I TOLD THE STAFF BUT SOMETIMES THEY ARE ON THERE OWN WHEN OUTHER STAFF ARE FINISHING BUT GOT TO SAY THE STAFF ARE VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL SO PEOPLE WHO OWN IT NEED TO GIVE STAFF BACK UP TO HELP THEM WHO BY THE WAY ARE ALL WOMEN THAT NOT TO SAY THEY DON'T SAY SOMETHING TO THESE WASTE OF TIME YOUTHS SO UN TILL THIS IS SORTED WE WILL NOT BE BACK IN THERE IT THE ONE NEAR THE TOWN HALL CARLISLE WE STILL GO TO SUBWAY BUT THE ONE IN SHADDENGATE CARLISLE WE LIKE THE TOWN ONE BECAUSE YOU CAN HAVE SOMETHING TO EAT AND WATCH THE WORLD GO BY BUT UNTILL THIS IS SORTED WON'T BE BACK HOPE THIS DOES NOT FALL ON DEAF EARS AND OWENER HELP THE STAFF OUT WITH THIS PROBLEM

Always a great choice of food options. Filling options are just as good with you options of bread, filling, salad filling and sauces. Some give you grated cheese as well as cheese triangles for cheese sandwiches (kids) and some don't. Meal deals are good as well as kids meals.

Nipped in with kids for a quick bite to eat...all was going well till the girl behind the counter asked if I wanted my sub toasted...I replied "yes"...she replied sorry what was that? I replied "yes" for a second time...to which she replied "do you mean yeah"...erm no...I meant yes...because "yes" is the proper word. How can someone be confused by the word yes...but understand "yeah" I'll admit there wasn't anything wrong with what I ate... My other issue was there being no actual bin inside the shop to place rubbish in but thats a different issue, my point is for god sake don't correct me with slang when I'm using the right word to start with.

Slow service and lack of proper stock management often leads to disappointment at this branch, and well most branches in Carlisle.

I sometimes visit my local Subway and was pleasantly surprised when I noticed this Subway in Greenmarket, Carlisle. Yes, it was a Subway and it has a set menu but it was clean and the young lady behind the counter was friendly and efficient. I was slightly worried as on a short holiday break in 2016 a visit to a not so good Subway resulted in a really nasty upset stomach. No call for alarm here-- all was well ! Thank you.

Pretty much the same as all the other Subways. There is some seating an an upstairs and it usually isn't very busy except at lunchtimes. Nice place for a sandwich and the service is very good.

I have never seen a subway run out of any type of bread. I found it strange that they didn't have any pictures of the types of breads like most subways. A guy in front of me asked for any brown breads, they had run out, then he asked for another type of bread, which they had also ran out of. He then said "maybe its better if you tell me what you DO have", there wasn't much options, so I left.

second time to this subway now and this experience was worse than the first. thought the service couldnt get any worse but with one girl serving for the 10 minutes i was stood for and some other in the back playing i was gonna be in for a long wait with 15 peeps in front of me. thank god the mrs came down from the toilets disgusted and been put of her food. i said it couldnt be that bad but when i went up for a giggle the place looked liked it had a riot run through it. tables full of used papers cups etc etc aswell as food is enough to put you of sitting but when you inspect the loos and realise your sat 10ft from one pee infested paper covered toilet with S~@T floating and around the bog then its time to find somewhere else to eat!!!the counter looked like it hadnt been cleaned down since the store opened that morning and she was making peoples butties in what looked like used second hand lettuce and dried meets. all she needed to do to finnish it of for me was pick her nose and and wipe it on someones itallian. always been a subway fan but the stores are going down hill all over the north from what i see,they need a make over and soon cos they are making mcdonalds look like a gordon ramsey resturant and that takes some doing.this ones deffo on the ban list and i reckon theres more to come unfortunatley im gonna have to boycot my meatball butties till you guys pull ya finger out and i advise others to do the same cheers,bigdave

Just what you need when you're hungry and you want a quick bite to eat. The staff were courteous and helpful and made a good sandwich to your taste - good fillings - the only downside was the mess of other people not being cleared away.

No hay pan en absoluto en la mitad del día de hoy, siempre de algo. Suerte si vas el día que albóndigas. Tiene una zona de estar arriba, pero siempre así que pueden 'encadenada utilizar t incluso cuando los pocos mesa abajo están llenos. Claramente no se molestó horrible. No te molestes en ir.

Nos encantan los metros. Hay 3 en Carlisle y los bocadillos siempre son buenas en todas ellas. Algunas veces la limpieza es deficiente, pero es probablemente debido a la alta rotación de clientes. El servicio del personal es siempre bueno y es rápido. Ideal para un almuerzo rápido cuando compras.

Friendly, helpful staff. Food was delicious as always. £3 lunch time deals. We had chicken tikka sub and turkey and ham sub between us. Great value for money!

I have absolutely no complaints about the food at this branch of subway well not if you can actually get any. Due to what would appear to be penny pinching by the franchisee this branch never actually has everything no meatballs one type of bread on offer no steak lousy choice of crisps or cookies are all common here oh and today no grated cheese!.we actually now use the Shaddongate branch as its generally fully stocked.I appreciate food premises have to minimise waste but its getting seriously pathetic.

Mi marido no pedir para cambiar sus guantes antes de que hagan suya al no comer carne (que normalmente no manipulación después nuestros pedidos de carne) y nunca tuvimos ningún problema con esto.El personal es amable y alegre.Recomiendo una visita aquí.Siempre parece limpia y ordenada.
