Subway in Leicester

Worse take away Iv ever had delivered. Bread stale/jacket potato not cooked through - customer service at shop itself is appalling. Save your money and order from elsewhere.

10/03/2025 Received lovely service during each of the last couple of occasions that I've visited here. Quick, friendly, polite service. I was a walk in and was able to get served promptly without any issues.

Food came late and cold, items missing throughout the order which were payed for, jacket potato was dry without the beans I clearly payed for and turkey missing from all star chicken sub!! The only thing that came right and didn’t get wrong was the cheese rolls, but with just cheese and tortilla, it would be a skill to get wrong!!

Ordered a sub for collection. Order number 26ADC75C-24 . I asked for cheese and toasted.... she toasted it... with no cheese. Also asked for crispy onions and mayo... none of both. Extremely disappointed in this service

Food took an hour to come, and it arrived cold and soggy!

Editing ✍️ this review as I was served by lovely 😻 Nisha today who was very friendly, calm and helpful. We briefly talked about food She made a good quality sandwich 🥪 It’s extremely frustrating and disappointing when an old staff in this place were shouting, banging items such as sauce bottles. I had to ask her please calm down as her behaviour was unacceptable. I think 💭 she’s now gone… replaced by ladies who speak with manners & excellent English 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 language skills. Thank you Subway

Toasted bread yet it was freezing cold. The chicken was hard.

Revived the worst service today at subway in this location, i have Ben in plenty of subways but this is the first time i revive the worst service/food ever. i went in around 12:50 and was the first person in line and 2 staff where working in 1 order, i waited exactly 7 min before one of the staff took my order, i told her i want clearly spicy cachepot and mayo she adds mango? like WTF? it took her 10 min to make the sandwich and when i went out because i was in a hurry the sandwich was broken in many pics and all the sauce went on my hand and clothes. i did not enjoy my sandwich and regret going in to that location it took around all together 20 min to get my sandwich this is wast off time, i paid £7.19 and they did not even bother to give me any discount, they offered me a replacement but then i had to wait all back in the Que winch was pretty long. this service that i revived from this location, made me Late to attend my lesson which meant i got late attendance winch effect my attendance and punctuality, angry, unsatisfied and i regret choosing subway for a quick sandwich.

Good nature and service by Mr.Raj at the store and very good food.

The attendants on site are very friendly and kind. I loved my experience at this Subway.

The place was dirty and the service was taken to long and the manager was rude and its taken a fall in this place was good before.

Food is good but service is terrible I order click and collect and it took 45 min before they gave me my order as I argue with them. I kept telling them that they took money from my account and I have my order number but this is just horrible the manager started shouting at me this is just unacceptable.

There are couple of subway that servers halal food. And this one is the top among this one in liecester area. There Notorios BMT is a show stopper. Everything is halal. So enjoy. Hard to find parking.

Didnt get my food now £35 out of pocket

Staff is so slow they took almost 20 min to finish one order. We were waiting for 40 min and still couldn't get our order so we left.

Mediocre service, very slow by Subway standards. I came in & waited a couple of minutes before hearing "next please" & ordering, but it turned out I had jumped the queue: 3 of the 4 people in there were waiting to order, & only 1 was waiting for their food (this is unusual for Subway as they have to wait 2 minutes while each order is in the heater, during which time they can take someone else's order). This queue moved slowly, & it was several minutes before I actually got to order. Then they took so long to actually serve me that by the end they'd forgotten that I also wanted a coffee. I usually go to Subway when I am in a hurry. When it came, the coffee didn't actually taste of coffee & I suspect the machine had run out of coffee & made a cup of hot water & milk. The submelt was on stale bread, as a result of which it fell apart in my hand as I tried to eat it. I haven't been going to Subway for very long, so I'm not sure what's going on here: either this is a terrible Subway, or this is a mediocre Subway and I got lucky the first few times. Either way, there are plenty of other branches of Subway in Leicester for me to go to instead.

Sweetie is a lovely member of staff at the store made the sub as per my needs, so polite and helpful. Great experience

The men who did my order for a salad did a good job 👏 looked lovely, then the useless woman on the counter chucked it around trying to get it in a bag looked not good at all she stood the box up shaking it! Making it a mess what's the point it making it neatly and then let her bag up on the checkout, she is useless, won't be using again very scruffy and not clean seating area, but she would rather just stand and talk to someone while serving me! Iv I'm paying 7.50 for a salad meal don't expect it to be shaken about before hand.

Staff are extremely rude accusing me of trying to steal cookies when I just paid for a sub and messed my order up with another customer then tried blaming me. Worst customer service I’ve ever encountered.

They haven’t delivered my meatballs

driver was absolutely useless stood outside calling me brother, couldnt see the place even though i was stood right outside next to him. blind as they come.

Service is too good and The way sweeti communicate with me to be honest it is very friendly and she makes excellent meal for me.

The most terrible place I’ve been to in my life. Usually, when i go to a subway they provide excellent customer service and quick, efficient production of food. However this was a monstrosity. We went to pay for the food first before letting them know what we wanted on our order and they simply didn’t know what they were doing. A few moments after paying we informed them that they had terrible customer service and asked for the managers name. The manager was refusing to give her name. The worst customer service I’ve received in my life and will not be going back there ever again. A subway is my go to place however the way this manager treated us and her employees was outright disgraceful.

Hard bread, cheese burnt, sauce on top of the sandwich. Made horribly wrong!

They were using cleaning products and making the sub at the same time, and she accidentally touched the sub. It’s a hazard.

I had received a beef subway and I had veggie delights and as a practicing vegetarian Hindu I do not even allow beef in the household let alone eat it.

Clear discrimination against Scottish people with a big sign at cash register saying that they do not accept Scottish bank notes. This is UK legal tender and has to be accepted. Spoke to manager about this and hope it has been rectified now

Hello I even don't want to given 1 star .very rude staff I have seen ever in my today visit .I don't know his because no name plate on his t-shirt .they don't know how to talk with customer I requested to owner give some lesson how to talk with others ..I will never come again here .thanks

The food was cold by the time it’s reach me

I’ve given this subway numerous chances but I won’t be going again. Everytime I go in (around 6pm) I’m immediately told “it’s takeout only” despite the fact they don’t close until 8pm. The staff are abrupt, verging on rude and tonight it felt like I was at Aldi she threw my sandwich together so fast! I’m done with this store.

Ordered a large meal deal for 1. Generally can't go wrong with this subway but when the sub arrived it was stone cold with the cheese unmelted. It obviously hadn't been toasted. I had to go to the effort of firing up the grill to cook the food myself (I burnt it). There wasn't an option to have it toasted on the Uber eats app which is something that needs to be fixed.

Had meatballs from subway in the past, where the sauce and meatballs come together in a box. This instance - had meatballs in a box without the sauce (when heated it was dry). Was told i didn't ask for sauce so thats why i didnt get it.. first I've heard of it.. when they did give the sauce, it was cold sauce on top of the dried meatballs.. they did offer replacements etc but I'd had enough by this point and asked for a refund instead and went to the Uppingham road subway. Staff were good, maybe just inadequate training.

1st Subway for quite a while. Have been looking forward to this, and although only a quick snack was delish.

Didn’t request cheese and jalapeños on the meatballs as they where for a 2 year old, came with both on there so I called the restaurant. Took my number and said she would call back, never did which the store is now closed and my daughter won’t eat as even after removing the jalapeños and cheese they still taste like it, so thanks for that😤

Even though it was late the food was absolutely outstanding. My food was delivered late but it was still warm and I was happy. I will definitely be a regular customer at subway belgrave gate keep up the good work.

Tried using my reward points to buy some food and was told that my points weren’t showing up on the system.They told me I would have to register to use my points and then I showed them email proof of the fact that I’m already registered so therefore should be able to use my points. Told me there was nothing they can do and didn’t accept my points- didn’t own up to their systems mistake and tried to blame me even though I should’ve been able to buy food. Just lost a customer over something that could’ve easily being rectified.

Ask for all the salad on my Italian and got the smallest amount on, I reckon they counted everything wont go there again

Had a pleasure of being served by Store Manager Rashmi. The sandwich was tasty and fresh. Social distancing is in place and the service was full of smile and happiness. Definitely recommend. Japaleno man Bartosz ;)

Order was all mixed up (wrong fillings in the different breads) and the fillings we did get wasn't exactly generous.

Staff in shop are absolute mongoles messed up the whole order got it so wrong disgusting want a full refund

We ordered for our parents who said that the baguettes were filled well. They didn't have the bread we ordered online but within a minute of ordering a lady called to change the order. Fantastic service.

The veggie delight was good but some veggies missing such as sweet corns and spinach. Hash browns were cold and not crispy. Such a shame to eat cold foot and not done properly.

Ordered a veggie delight but there was hardly anything in it (strange). Will be ordering something different next time or from a different subway.

Ordered Tuna sub which was very nice but the Tuna could do with some more Mayo in it as it was slightly dry.

Even with Covid-19 restrictions still in place, they're doing a good job to keep the service running, especially whilst being swamped with the 50% off offer in place :)

I genuinely think the CEO's at the top are earth angels trying to make people not eat at Subway... EVERY time I've ordered, from any Subway, it's been wrong. I specifically asked to kindly remember the patty in the veggie patty sub- what did I receive? A warm salad sandwich! No cheese, no actual patty..... EVERY TIME, EVERY SUBWAY. Pathetic, abysmal. Beyond comprehension.

employee told me to get out when i was queuing behind my friend deciding what drink to buy. she asked me if i was ordering anything so i said i was thinking, so then she proceeded to yell at me and tell me and my other friend to get out the store. well. one less customer, never going here again. would give this 0 stars if i could. people with this attitude shouldn’t be employed.

Little place staff were with unacceptable abrupt attitudes in tourist area ... It had several tables for eating all filled left over and wrappers, drink cups not disposed by previous customers or cleaned by the staff...Wish it was clean and hygienic like other subways I visited
