Awful service bad attitude towards customers

There was a hair in my sandwich 😳

Staff aren’t friendly and look almost annoyed at the customers didn’t feel very welcomed and the food was basic

Very rude staff. Make you feel very unwelcome. The place is filthy, one lady was using her nail to scrape the dirt from in-between the metal salad dishes. No please or thank you. No patience at all either.

My local subway is due to close at 9pm each Tuesday, however today they decided to close their doors early. I arrived at 7pm and realised the door was locked, reading the opening and closing times sheet stuck to the door it said the store was open 7:30am-9pm, after reading this I had to ask the woman present in the store if the shop was closed to which she replied yes. I appreciate we all enjoy an early finish, but two hours early is taking the piss a little. Update your opening and closing times both online and in store thanks.

Usually I have great service when I'm here

The place is filthy, tomato sauce up the side, grime, debris and leftover food left all over the counter, the glass top was smeared with sauce and grease stains, the lady serving was coughing up all over the place and took her 15 mins to serve one person. The worst subway I've ever entered, sorry not sorry 😐

Recently moved to the Bishop Auckland area. Tried this subway 3 times. The first time the lady was absolutely lovely and could not fault her whatsoever. The second time literally the same week the second experience wasn't as friendly I.e no please or thank you but the woman did perk up a bit in the end. The 3rd experience was the worst yet and unfortunately I would not be returning. The guy didn't even know how to make the sandwich I wanted and I noticed at least 3 flys where the meat section was. What was even worse the more senior member of the two just went out the back. Honestly how can a place go so downhill in the space of 2 weeks? After reading the comments on here I can see numerous people have had the same complaint.

First visit to any Subway. Lovely food...granddaughter enjoyed hers too. Thank you Place was looking a bit tired but that was the colour of the decor. Maybe a rethink??

Worker nicola made a sandwich before mine wich contained peri chicken without changing her gloves I could then taste it against my sandwich

Very slow subway infact the slowest I've been to but I just put that down to bishop Auckland everything seems to be slower here. What's more disgusting is I've found a hair in my sub it was in my mouth so obviously I've had to make myself sick now I wouldn't recommend this particular subway because I've been in afew times and every time there has been something wrong with the order but after finding a hair in my mouth I'm sick to my stomach I'm attaching a picture of the hair

Nice quick sandwich, handy if your out and about and want something quick and healthy.

What is the point of opening at 10 on a weekend and 9 during the week to late for breakfast for me

Arrived at about 4:20, only 2 types of bread left, no cookies or donuts or anything like that. Food was fine, staff seemed to struggle to understand the order but we for there in the end.

Service and quality is always as expected. Only 4 stars as they've usually no stock of at least one of the meats, was ham this time.

Worse subway ever, rude staff, sandwiches thrown together no care or pride. Arrived at 10:50 stood for 10 minutes while the staff prepared take out orders with no communication at all, finally had my order taken at 11:01 to be told breakfast isn't served after 11:00 the stuff was still sat in the counter. Last 3 or 4 times I have been in this store its been total joke

DON'T ORDER FROM SUBWAY IF YOU ARE VEGAN. I watched a girl making a meat sandwich and she was messily dropping meat into the veg trays. I would also be very careful if you have any allergies or intollerant as I wouldnt trust Subway.

What can I say disgusting meatballs were like cardboard never again

Used this many times and I have been happy with it. HOWEVER we went in today and a man I took to be the franchise owner was training a new girl making up to go orders. He asked us to wait for a minute which we were happy to do. However, after 10 minutes and him continuing to make up orders and TOTALLY ignoring us we decided that his rude manner was too much and we walked out. I have always loved the friendly welcoming atmosphere in every Subway so I believe that this ignorant rude man is not fit to work for Subway. Needless to say we will not return to this outlet!

25 minutes to get through a 6 person queue to find the filling we wanted needed replacing and wouldn't be available any time soon as they weren't keeping on top of them. Slowest Subway I've ever been to. Terrible service.

Love a sandwich from here and the hash browns

I ordered on the app 25 minutes before I arrived. When I got there I stood in the queue for a further 10 minutes. Finally when I got to the from tof the queue I told the lady I ordered online and gave her the code. To which she said it would be another 5 minutes. Upon receiving the sandwiches the lady didn't give me the option of a bag so I walked out holding two sandwiches that were poorly wrapped. When I got home I realised they didn't give either of us the correct bread and had toasted the one that wasn't suppose to be toasted. Overall I will not be using this subway again.

Pretty quiet when I went in so got served quickly, forgot how expensive a bloody sandwich and a cup drink is though. Over 7quid, a full cooked chicken is only 6quid from asda and a loaf of bread for 80p and a bottle of water still would have cheaper.

Great place to go for a quick snack , never too busy , just pricey for a sandwich with im not to fussed about as everything is lovley and fresh

Ordered for the family three subs had no cheese even though we ordered it with extra cheese and one sub had the wrong salad

Food is fine as long as you don't get delivery, as it's frequently late. Phone calls to speak to the manager are ignored.

Hi I am highly disgusted how long this food has taken, I ordered at 1.30 and was told food would be here at 2.30, we are now on 3.33 and still NO Food, I have rang the shop twice to be told my food won't be long... Really... So why is hours late???

Quick delivery and food delicious

Queue was ridiculously slow with only 4 people infront of me. I finally got to the front and had to stand there for 5 minutes waiting to be served while the 3 of them did all their justeat orders. I get they need to complete them too but then maybe hire some more people. If im literally stood infront of your face, maybe serve me first. Id understand waiting a few seconds for them to finish something. But i watched them start and finish over 3 different sandwiches while I waited. There was also a fly hovering around and on some of the food which they did little to prevent.

Google are insisting that I was here! I haven't been to Subway and I have no intention of going there in the present climate. I will not risk my health for a sandwich and a tin of pop.

Waited over 10 minutes to be served when I was the only one in the store. The food is always good and great portions but today the portions were quite small for some reason. Not sure if this is a new policy but I would be wary to go back if this is the case. It may be an off day but I'm disappointed with my experience.

As always subways are great tasting, however the staff were quite clueless and needing some more training before hand, due to this the service was very slow.

Happy customer service, parking can be awkward.

Very good sandwiches but can get incredibly busy on a Saturday.

3 people training out of 4, drinks machine ran out of Pepsi so got a sour fizzy water

good price and nice.some breads Lways out of stock and staff a little stingy with the salads lile there pYing for a bit of lettuce.

Miserable staff that dont listen. Only one in the shop, ordered 2 identical sandwiches and had to repeat every part if my order 3 or 4 times. Too busy chatting amongst themselves to give a dam about the customer in front of them.

Staff seemed extremely rushed, and put more effort into trying to serve multiple customers at the same time rather than actually making the food I, and the gentleman in front of me ordered. Took so much longer than it could have, for a sandwich that was freezing cold, and didn't even get asked if I wanted extra cheese or a meal deal etc.

Took a while longer than most Subways I've been to. There was a few ingredients/items missing from the menu. Other than that it was fine.

I do not want yellow lettuce in my foot long BLT but it’s what I have to put up with when I visit this s*** hole !!!! Good thing the staff are nice or other wise I’d hockle my ‘sandwich’ right back in their face. Yet to try the chicken tikka but was not impressed by the BLT, will be back with another review once I’ve tasted what the tikka has to offer .

Sandwich was amazing. Wasn't much in the way of sides I.e. cookies, sweet treats etc. But clean and fast service nonetheless

Well organized and easily set out. My only issue is there’s not a big variety for vegetarians or vegans. Either veggie patty or veggies in general. There aren’t any other products. However they are clean and never cross contaminate. However one of the staff is slightly rude behind the counter and makes you feel like a burden when you pick your sandwhich.

Takes an age for the staff to serve although the quality and amount is good. Dingy Place could use some stronger lighting.

Staff are very flat, no zip, pan faced, no eye contact, just going through the motions. Food very very good, only reason we came back.

Won't eat them ever since I fixed a lady's boiler that works in the Bishop Auckland Subway. The house was crawling

Toilet light never worked and the floor just got mopped with no wet floor sign. Very dangerous. Staff were also arguing while serving me. My sandwich wasn't put together well and fell literally apart as i ate it. Worst of all my previous visit my cup split in the car and i had to get it valeted. When i went in he just gave me napkins and gave me a new cup to refill 😥 not the best but its closest to me. But apart from that I mean the sandwiches are alright when your marvin
