Nice clean place first time there and the food was really nice and great service

I had to write a review about stale bread a few years ago and I find myself doing the same again now. I just purchased a sandwich and had the same stale bread experience. Did they think I wouldn't know the difference between fresh and one/two day old bread?

Got orders wrong and didn’t listen properly when making the sub, were unhygienic while making the food too.

This is the best subway in Canterbury and it’s always a pleasant experience to eat here. The staff is extremely professional and co-operative. The quality of food is well maintained! You would want to visit especially when the manager Akash is there, he makes the best subs! Highly recommend this outlet!!

The surface is so good, specially for the 2 guy from India

Ordered a tuna wrap and the wrap had green mould over the wrap. Obviously a lack of fresh ingredients used. I Phoned and they refused a refund and was told to request it through just eat. No replacement offered. I won’t be ordering again.

It was my first time of going to there it was a bit pricey all together the food was delicious the service was good everything about the place seemed really good

Went for a quick meal just before going to the theatre. I asked for a chicken ceasar as a salad. She had to asked someone out back what it was. She then put lettuce tomatoes chicken cheese and bacon on it. Packed it up and gave to me. Not once asking me what salad, bacon or cheese I wanted. Then called colleague to do till even though nobody else in. I said the problem and was no reaction. Took it as was in a rush.

Absolutely pathetic service and staff without knowledge. Visited after a couple of years; ordered a sub like usual and staff charged more than the price of the sub. The reason for the price as said on checkout was that the veggies and sauces would be the ones "they recommend rather than my own choice" even though Subway's selling point is "I can make my own sub". So if I order a vegan philly steak, they are going to add a non-vegan sauce they like. No thanks.

I went to subway this afternoon and the BULGARIAN GIRL who was VERY RUDE ,SHE took my order and start to SHOUT at me because she said that I pointed to pickles but asked for CUCUMBER . That was Very bad customer service . NEVER GO BACK ! The staff are normally very nice EXCEPT this Bulgarian one .

I really enjoyed visiting this place on a nice sunny Saturday. I ordered a Veggie sub ( plant based) and it was delicious. Value for money.

This branch was very clean and staff friendly. Eating in is upstairs and it's a very old building I thought it was great but could be a challenge for those with mobility issues.

Half our order was missing when delivered but Subway weren’t interested in refunding or replacing the missing food, very unhelpful so won’t order from there again!

Having a fussy eater, we called in here to get a cheese sandwich. £7 for a bottle of water and a 6" sub with 2 cheese slices in it. Absolutely nothing else in the bread whatsoever, just 2 cheese slices, for £7. Wow, just wow!

Good service, seating upstairs makes it tricky for access with a pushchair. Stairs are also steep but over all a nice place to grab a quick bite to eat.

Food is pretty average and can be quite expensive and confusing. Staff didn't really seem like me asking a questions, and all I asked was "is it ok to make that a meal deal". And I'm sure the selection for the salad bar has been reduced?

Slechtste Subway waar ik ooit ben geweest, onvriendelijk personeel en vieze uitstraling. Personeel kan amper engels, niet communiceren. Bestellingen verkeerd, mensen kruipen voor omdat het personeel het ze niks uit maakt en niet luistert. Enorme teleurstelling.

Small takeaway BUT Sizeable upstairs seating in traditional Elizabethan looking building. Recommend Was quiet Christmas period but pleasant enough.

As always Subway is a great place to go they have lots of variations of filling to go on your baguette, from Ham, tuna, cheese, etc and plenty of salad can be added as well. The staff are great - friendly and helpful, the shop is clean and tidy and the staff clean the tables when people have finished their meal. The toilets are clean. Great to visit with friends and have a chat while eating good food.

Most excellent choice of breads, fillings, crisps, extras, hot drinks and biscuits. Served by a young lady, who you can tell, cares about the customer 1st.

Nice Subway, but unfortunately suffers due to lack of space and efficient use of it. The upstairs area has a large enough space for seating, but all avaliables are placed against the walls, leaving the centre empty. I have never suffered from a lacking of seating, but its an observation I've noticed and could help improve.

I stop over for quick sub with kids it was nice, like always reliable and nice. It’s a cheap option for kids when you don’t want to spend a lot and just want something quick and don’t have to think to much.

Not the friendliest place but it does what you expect

People would say a Subway is a Subway, but it is the staff that make the place really good. The staff here were very friendly and helpful. I very much enjoyed my meatball sub meal.

The staff was absolutely terrible. Got served by two men and both of them looked like they hated their jobs, spoke as quietly as they could and looked at me like at some sort of a freak when I asked a question.

It's a Subway, so you get what you pay for, but there is seating upstairs though so that's a bonus to get away from the noise of the high street.

First time in Subway... and better than suspected. we had two different sandwiches with spicy chicken , both of them where good. The friendly man who helped us was very enthousiast and helpful to make our choice of toppings easier.

There are better branches of Subway around, I like the food on offer but this one doesn't have a great atmosphere compared to others I've tried. The food I've had here is up to standard.

We went here in a busy Saturday. We joined a queue that went down quickly. When I reached the front I advised the server that one person in my party had an allergy he removed his gloves quickly and put on clean ones, he also pointed out the wall chart that showed which subs contained nuts lactose etc. I was extremely impressed and our food was tasty too

Back in March we had to order some lunch for 20 people for a meeting and thought we would give subway a try. It was easy to order and all was ready when promised. We went with a meat selection and it went down well with everyone . A nice change from the norm.

I know it's fast food and cheap but you could do so much better than to eat here. Some staff try hard but it's still Subway. Popular with drinkers late at night so manages to make money.

I'd never had a Subway before so my partner said we should pop in. The first thing I noticed was that this branch only has four of of five stars for hygiene. As a chain, I'd expect five out of five. I let that fact go and went inside the shop. I waited until one of the girls made eye contact with me and I asked her for what I wanted. She told me I had to order from the other end of the counter. There was no queue and the other end of the counter was about three steps from where I was standing. I moved a little way forward dragging my son's pram behind me and got eye contact with the other lady. She was standing next to the one I had just spoken to and she had clearly heard my order but I had to ask again for what I wanted. Not a single smile from either of these two and it was like they really couldn't be bothered to be working there. My sandwich was delicious but I wouldn't go to this branch again!

we often use Subway as we enjoy fresh salad with a variety of meats or Tuna , YOU choose what and how much salad,you can turn into a meal deal for an extra £2 .the service was friendly and polite, clean surroundings and all @ a very good price. It doesn't take long to collect and in most you have a choice to take away or eat in.

Went in for their lunch offer of 6" sub and drink for £3. Perfectly acceptable food, quite tasty in fact, very reasonably priced. Lots of seating available unlike some of the Subways which has limited seating areas. The staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Good all round experience !!
