wrong drink delivered , meant to be 1.25L and got 500ml and wrong flavor

we ordered food and when it got close to delivery time it said delived but no food. we rung up and they haven't even prepare the food said give them an hour. hour went by rung again still hasn't been prepared so ended up going down there and picking it up personally. didn't even get a phone call to say it would be delayed just a update saying it was delivered when it clearly hadn't. a whole 2 hours from expected delivery time.

I would have been waiting nearly 2 hours for my order

ordered 2 hours ago. 3 phone calls made every time said be 10 mins. Got food eventually and hardly any meat. not worth waiting 2 hours for.

I ordered my food on Uber Eats at 2pm and my food didn’t arrive until 4:10pm over 2 hours I had to wait, and when it arrived it was cold and stale, I called the restaurant multiple times to see where my food is and I contacted Uber Eats aswell, they both didn’t help me in any way whatsoever, I definitely won’t be back and this is not the first time it’s happened to me either, Subway and Uber Eats clearly don’t care about their customers

Delivery took over 2 hours, but the staff were helpful and even threw in a free item

Waited nearly an hour before got my food

Contact restaurant. Given a number of excuses ( busy restaurant, driver back late from previous delivery, driver on his way). It was 20 minutes later driver arrived. No apology or acknowledgement of being late. Food was cold and soggy. Disgusting.

My order came 1 hour and 40 minutes after I ordered it, I contacted the restaurant via text but did not hear back until hours later.

Didn’t get the 75% of my other order

Order did not turn up, called the restaurant and they lied saying they tried to call me. Turns out the guy delivering was in a camper van and didn’t think he needed to get out of it. I left notes on how to find my address and they wasn’t even looked at.

Took over 2 hours to arrive and was cold would advise to order from else where.

Very very messy. I'm shocked, I ordered 2 subways and a side of hashbrowns and I got a very messy order, I had to wait a long time as there was only one guy attending everyone, I've only seen at least 2 people working for subway, but not here. All the wraping paper had sauces and it was stuck in the sandwich and the hashbrowns had part eaten ones!!! I had to bin this food as soon as I got home. I demand a refund.

the food arrived late, but unlike all the other times I have ordered from subway the food was great, maybe this is a step in the right direction.

Ordered food over an hour ago and it still hasn't arrived. App told me the order was out for delivery. Call subway who said it hasn't even been sent out yet... if that's the case my order probably won't arrive for another hour or so.... waiting over 2 hours for a subway is a little ridiculous. And the fact no one from subway called to say they only have one delivery driver working today trying to get out multiple orders, is very poor customer service.

Absolutely disgraceful service. I have waited almost 3 hours for my food. I have now cancelled it over the phone but as it say’s delivered I don’t know how to cancel it on here?

Rang shop told it was coming out with the next three to have missing items and sloppy food that we had due to having kids for holiday all said they would not have one again 😢😢😢

my order was not delivered on Time, when it arrived it was cold and there was no sauce and barely any meatballs and the bread was soggy, I am extremely mad as this was my pregnancy craving and am extremely disatified with my services and products that was received

We ordered at 12:30 and the order did not arrive until 1440. Especially when there was a 30minutes estimated deliverThe food was not great with barely any filling and it was cold. Bitterly disappointed and great impacted on our day in a negative way.

Ordered at 13:56 with delivery time between 14:30-14:50. Food arrived at 16:33! Absolutely ridiculous! Took 5 attempts to get an answer from the restaurant. Spoke to a very polite guy who explained they were short staffed and only 1 driver. If an order is going to take over 2 hours then just eat should advise this at the time or subway should stop accepting orders!

Called restaurant an hour in to which I was informed the person was on their own. Still waiting an hour later. Items not toasted as requested. Cookies incorrect too.

Visited this store today, to find there was only 1 person left on his own to run the shop and serve all the customers , and prepare the food. Despite the wait, Craig carried on with his job in the most upbeat, professional manner, and was helpful and kind to all the customers in the shop while he served each one, and to the others waiting in line. He’s an absolute credit to the shop, so to the management, please don’t treat your hard working staff this way! Well Done Craig

Received estimated time of 14:00-14:20 at 14:20 I rung the restaurant and asked for an update and was told it would be 5 minutes. 15 minutes later I rung again and again asked for another update and was told it was now being prepared and sent out. Reckon two free cookies as compensation but order once arrived over an hour late

Over two hours late and orders where both wrong

Spent £30 for my order to not even show up. Phoned numerous times for them to say it’s on its way and over a hour later still not arrived. A hungry daughter as well as being pregnant and needing to eat myself. Disgusting wouldn’t even attempt trying this place.

The sub was as expected, but the two side dishes were soggy, cold and inedible. We had to throw them away.

Our delivery was an hour late. When it did arrive there was no salad in one of the rolls. A drink from the order was missing and the food which should of been hot was cold. Overall extremely disappointing and unsatisfactory.

Order was confirmed at 14:07, expected delivery time 14:40-15:00 Order turns up at 17:00. Food had obviously been sitting around for a while but it’s a sub so not an issue. Not good enough, obviously providing a service they can not cope with.

Still no delivery and over 30min late

Awful experience, over two hours and still no food. The delivery driver has marked my order delivered and apparently stolen my food because it’s not here.

waited 2 hours and 20 minutes. app said delivery within 45 minutes. repeatedly called restaurant but no answer. finally got through to lady who said they were very busy, would be with me in 5 -10 mins. ONE HOUR later still no food.2 and a half hours received two cold soggy sandwiches that had clearly been sitting for ages as they said they only had one driver making multiple deliveries. bread fell apart and the sauce had soaked through so the bread was a soggy congealed mess. threw it away.

Over an hour from ordering and still haven’t received. Delivery times abysmal from this Subway branch. Happens every time regardless of traffic and conditions. Only a 15 minute drive so unclear what the issue is.

Order: 6978 Avoid this massively. We ordered this on Xmas day after they claimed to be open from Deliveroo, we rang up multiple times with no one answering. We claimed a refund on Deliveroo but they refused it as Subway claimed that they was open and knocked on door multiple times throughout which ring doorbell footage shows that no one attended. Rang these a week after once Deliveroo rejected a refund they said they wasn’t open and none of that was said and will issue a refund, it is now July and still no refund. They are a fraudulent company our order was £41.12. Never ordering from them again. I held from a bad review but people should know never to order from here.

it was over two hours late and was stone cold when I received it.

My order was marked down as delivered when I didn't have the food. when I called the restaurant they said they sent it out and that's all the heard. the food was cold and soggy due to the condensation of my drink which was in the same bag.

It said it would be delivered in 50 minutes which is far too long and then it was 15 minutes late on top of that.

My order was said to be delivered between 12:45 and 13:05, I sent an update request through just eat and no reply, I called subway at 13:20 and they said it left 5-10 mins ago and they were sorry. It arrived at 13:35 and 2/3 drinks were incorrect. The sandwiches were good but I’m not happy with the service

The driver didn’t even get out of the car. I had to leave my busy work desk and go out to the main road and get it. This was after I rang them because they had forgotten my order

Ordered a meatball sub with nothing else in it - came with letttuce cucumber pickles and mayo? That was for the other sub (that was correct) ordered a foot long cheesy garlic slice, I’ve got bread with melted cheese and I ordered a margarita slice again just bread and cheese?

Ordered at 12.51pm. First estimated delivery 13.10pm to 13.45pm second estimated delivery 13.50pm to 14.10pm then come up with enjoy your food. Was delivered at 15.23pm

I ordered a create your own classic BMT. I chose no salad, and added caeser sauce. I got a sub filled with veg, with sauce i didnt choose and no meat. When trying to inform them i had the wrong sub i got told "you ordered the BMT" yes i know i did but i didnt recieve it i reveived a completely differnt sub. driver turns up and starts having a go.. not calmly either, literally having a go saying to specify i didnt want veg. yet it doesn't state on the menu it came with veg

I ordered a steak salad 1hr 45mins ago and still have not got my food spoke to the restaurant and they told me another 10 mins. Waiting nearly 2hrs for a salad to be delivered is a joke

Ordered four drinks and only three different drinks were delivered. Delivery driver said these were the last three drinks in the shop, which seems unlikely. The subs themselves had half crumbled to dust in the wrappers, very disappointing.

No chicken tikka so offered to send cookies. Accepted an alternative and no cookies delivered 😡

Order was very late and after calling the restaurant to find out where it was they couldn’t really tell me anything said it was down to Just Eat. When the delivery driver arrived he told me the restaurant was lying and sent it late. Order was also missing cheese from both subs and wrong crisps supplied. Disappointing

During my visit to Clacton, I found myself hungry and stopped by a Subway restaurant. Despite arriving at closing time, Jay, the staff member, graciously served me without hesitation. This hospitality immediately set this experience apart from my previous encounters in London. I entrusted Jay to craft a foot-long sub with a unique Indian flavor, giving him full creative control. Initially skeptical, I was pleasantly surprised when I took the first bite. The sub was bursting with juicy, flavorful vegetables, leaving a lasting impression on my taste buds. Jay's attention to detail, particularly in maintaining hygiene by changing gloves between handling my veg sub and non-veg ingredients, was commendable. His dedication to accommodating my dietary preferences made the experience even more enjoyable. I believe Jay's exceptional service merits recognition from his manager, perhaps even a raise, for consistently delivering outstanding dining experiences. I look forward to revisiting this Subway location when I'm in Clacton or nearby areas in the future.

Waiting an hour delay for them to call to say they don’t have the sub we ordered, awful customer service with no communication

food at least half hour late, everything was cold and the food was over cooked and dry.

After being an hour late the food was cold, there was things missing (like the sauce for the bites, the cheese and olives in one of the footlong), the bread was soggy and disintegrating. The salad was spilling everywhere.. just absolutely inedible. After spending so much money on the order I ended up eating the bag of crisps. The cookies were missing and the chicken bites were stale. Horrible

The delivery man was sat on the phone ourwidw my house, vaping before he decided to finish his phonecall and get out of the car to knock on the door and by this time, food was stone cold.

Chased the order an hour and a half after I placed it to be told that even though just eat said it was delivered, they had a problem with bread so it hadn’t been sent yet. Said they would make it straight away and send it straight out. Another half an hour later, they said still problem with bread & it would be another half an hour! Told them to cancel it. Terrible customer service, should’ve been advised. 2 hours wasted for a roll that didn’t even turn up!
