Subway in Warrington

Food was average at best, tables and floor were disgusting

Called in tonight and I thought I would try the new foot long peperoni and cheese dipper and was shocked when I got home and saw what I had been given there was just a small amount of ingredients in the middle and the rest was to hard to eat because it had been cooked with nothing inside. See the picture on the menu what I was expecting and what I actually got, i also ordered the subway steak it was ok but not great

After going through the tedious process of making a full footlong and a kids sandwich, I got to the till to be told the free kids meal offer only works with the subway app. I haven't got the app installed on my phone and the phone reception in the shop is really poor to install the app. I was advised by Bradley and Peter to go by the window and install the app while other customers were waiting in the queue. I had another look at the free kids meal offer sticker in the shop window and it doesn't say anywhere you need the app to access the offer (not even on the small print nor subway website-see photo attached).When I challenged this, they insisted I need the app even though it doesn't say on the advert, because these are the rules. I then turned down the order and left. Really disappointing service as they didn't even try to resolve the issue. The sticker with the free kids meal for every footlong bought is still in the window and might mislead other customers in the future. Shame for the wasted food and above all, time.

Never received any order, restaurant not answering the phone

Sandwich was really nice but sadly the cheesy garlic slice was rock hard and inedible which I was looking forward to won’t be ordering that again but would definitely have the sandwich again

Been here a few times, when you're in the restraunt and see them making your butty and make sure it's right it's great. They have gone a little stingey with portions sizes especially if it's delivered. The staff are ok, new staff all the time some happy and some clearly not! Some staff take care when making the food, others don't. If you have it delivered then the fillings will probably be wrong, it's rarely right. I didn't ask for a certain filling because I have reactions to it and surprise surprise.... it was on my butty and my other half is veggie so couldn't swap. If I do order a subway I make sure it's not from Birchwood, not because of the food but the ability to get the order right.

They have changed the policy after over a decade such that you are limited to only a few salad/veg items. One used to be able to select whatever they wanted - insane they would remove this. Really poor especially considering you’re spending almost £9 for a sandwich.

Order arrived sealed in the bag all seals intact. However there was no cookie in my meal deal. I contacted the restaurant only to be told they packed it in the bag and since the seals were intact they were unwilling to help me.

food arrived hot and driver was polite and presentable 👍

the delivery person left our order outside the house without knocking on the door leaving our food to go cold and soggy

Absolutely appalled how it has arrived, had no ketchup on and hardly any salad that I asked for. Absolute disgrace. Not happy about it. Definitely not worth £15.

Delivered wrong order, when the right one arrived they were stone cold and 2 were on the wrong bread

Nachos were lukewarm at best. Ordered twice from here and has been late both times.

My food was sat waiting at subway waiting to be picked arrived cold because of this and we didn’t eat

The nachos were cold and the cheese wasn’t melted. The wrap was tiny and disappointing.

Gets busy but that's a good sign!! Had a few things my grandson also likes their kids choices....if you download their app you earn points too....double points til end Jan 24.... Entrance for a wheelchair n public toilets ,usually spend 45 mins depending on our meal,can also order from the app ( follow info on how )to collect or sit in ,just go to front of queue if ordered on app...

I only ordered a salad…. How hard is it to get it wrong? I ended up with vegan steak and cheese when ordered normal steak and cheese, I asked for no lettuce and I ended up with a box full of lettuce and I ordered a margarita slice and you sent garlic bread!

Was told it would be ready for 12.30 I arrived on time and showed my order at the collection point and was told it was being made. Waited 9 minutes and watched numerous walk ins come and go, before asking again. A conversation took place behind the counter and my order was then ‘found’ and started. Got it at 12.45. Too long for an order that should have been ready for half past!

Seating is not great but adequate

One of the people who served me and my friend was OK. Although he gave her a foot long when she asked for a 6 inch. My main gripe was with the women who did the salad and the checkout. Her communication skills where poor, as she mumbled alot. That on top of giving me a face of thunder.🤨 This subway just can't seem to get it right in recent years.

Staff we’re really nice and caring for my gluten intolerance.

Looks very dirty i wouldnt eat after seeing a person serving without gloves after picking spots on their fsce.....eyuck

Visited on sunday the 18/09/22 served by a lovely young girl my only issue was then speed of service it was explained to me by the male member of staff that they were really short staff I can't fault them for it they we both helpful however however is running it need to get more staff

I met a lovely young women today as I came in for a 6 inch sub. Nice and fast service no fuss and she complimented me on my outfit which made my day. Great start to the day and amazing way to sell food. Her recommendations were well educated thank you very much

Ordered a click and collect which got told was ready to collect and when I got there it wasn’t, the girl who served me looked around for a good few minutes before asking other staff who said oh we’ve been too busy to even start it. Fair enough it was busy but staff don’t seem to know what they are doing. Maybe some training needed? She then found the receipt and started to make them slowly. Assumed I’d be given the right sandwiches and headed off. When I got back to work and opened them was greeted with one correct sandwich and then this mess. See picture. Ordered a coronation chicken with red onion and mustard sauce. Clearly not this. It looked grim. Service is poor. They can’t get orders right and then they said they’d given me free cookies to make up for it but they never. This store needs sorting out and turning around. Constantly advertising for staff and you can kind to see why.

If I could give the customer service in this place less than 1 star I would. On the 11th May my Dad and I visited here at around 7:40pm. I work in hospitality and understand that customers coming in right before closing can be very irritating, however we entered 20 minutes before the store closed. If it was too much trouble, we would of preferred to have been told to try somewhere else for food instead of being given the poor, rude customer service the man behind the counter gave us. My Dad and I haven’t been to subway in a while so when we arrived we were reading the menu for a couple of minutes. The man that served us on our visit made both me and my Dad feel extremely uncomfortable. He was abrupt and passive aggressive. His approach took me aback, because he should not be working in customer service. He was impatient, and it seemed like a big inconvenience to ask him for anything. He was obviously very annoyed at my Dad and I for coming in as my portion of crinkle wedges included about 5 pieces? Neither of us will be returning😃

Just ordered uber eats. Sent a 6 inch instead of footlong and missed 3 cookies off the order. Employees struggle to read a very simple receipt, pay peanuts you get monkeys I suppose.

Don't know their own menu, refused to make wrap as wanted as they stated they don't do it despite it being on their menu. Very rude, made my partner upset. Will be going to different subway in the future.

Went in for breakfast only be told they dont do it, was very disappointed as was picking it up for a family who was ill at home.

Not been there for ages in birchwood mall

Visited thursday 6th of january 2022 at 5.00 in the evening and was met by Friendly and helpful staff...credit to their company!

You know what you are getting at any Subway. If you like Subway, then you will like this one too.

Very popular place. I do enjoy Subway food as it is always fresh and tasty. Staff also very friendly.

total disappointment, asked for a cold tuna fish, and they gave me tuna without any mayo added, so it was dry as hell, ask them for heavy dose of mayo, and gave me very little. I only ate cause I was starving other wise I would have ask for my money back and gone to a competitor

This is a typical Subway, what you get is in clear view, good portions but if you want a little more salad item, no problem. Meal deal is good value & staff friendly.

It's always busy in this branch so be prepared to queue, but the staff are very nice and efficient. They have GF bread and vegan meatballs, all of which were very nice. So glad Subway are offering these alternatives!

When questioning staff about food they have no clue what in what etc. If you're going to have kids work for you subway you need to educate them

I didn't visit a week ago silly google but you can't beat it for a good 12 inches dripping with hot meat

Very clean and plenty of fillings to chose from, I personally felt quite rushed when choosing my filling so didn't enjoy that experience, I've been again at what I thought was a quieter time but it's the same thing, again I felt rushed, I enjoyed the food and hot drink but now I'll know exactly what to order

The sandwiches were perfectly fine, although actually communicating the order to the staff was rather difficult as none of them seemed to speak English properly. One staff member kept trying to give me hearty Italian instead of regular. He only seemed to understand the 'Italian' part of my sentence. Another member further down the line was adamant on giving me sweet chili instead of sweet onion sauce. But as I said, the sandwiches were fine in the end.

Clearly stated that it shuts at 9. Turn up at 20 past 8 to everything shut up. Wouldn't have minded but not the first time it's happened.

Overall food is good with some great deals and good loyalty card. Staff are friendly and will always change their gloves if requested. However as a strict fish eating vegetarian at times I have seen that some of the meat products accidentally fall into the tuna container which is off putting for me. More needs to be done to prevent contamination of the tuna filling.
