Subway in Milton Keynes

taste is very good. Regardless if its Indian or British. They never fail to bombard the different flavours in your mouth!

I think with all the machine system they’ve put in the store has created a big mess, there are long queues always nowdays and people are always complaining about their orders being late and mixed up. I personally think there was no need for automated ordering system as it was better and quick before.

We had 20 minutes before our train was going to leave, so I thought I'd treat my kids to a Subway (also it was the only place open). We ordered on the touchscreen. 10 minutes later, the staff hadn't even started preparing our order and we were only the second order on the board! We had to leave without any food and £18 out of pocket or we would miss our train. Horrendously slow staff. Don't waste your time or money here.

Ordered on screen and paid, 10 minute wait, zero staff engagement, no food provided and had to leave or I’d miss my train. Appallingly slow service. Avoid.

The slowest subway I've ever been in. Machines to order don't work and staff avoid taking orders at the kiosk.

Food quality need to be improved

I ordered two foot long deals and one only delivered? The man told me one was cancelled which is not true! I’ve paid £32 no refund so how have I cancelled not good enough

Love this subway because it has touch screens from which to order the food instead of having to shout it across the place like a barbarian. This is very convenient, much quicker than speaking, makes sure my order is accurate and keeps the overall place nicer, quieter and more enjoyable throughout. Never thought I'd want to go to subway for good service of all things, but here we are! Oh and a major plus is it's open late! I often forget to eat and by then everything else is closed so major kudos 🙏

Self-Service makes ordering so much easier + staff are quick to make orders ensuring food is warm.

What a joke, trust me avoid this subway branch , absolutely disgusting behaviour. Order just a Cheesy bits from these new machines around 8:30 , 13 min later no food and staff just laughing at the back taking long just to sort other customers. Left without even taking my food and yeah of course they will keep the money . What a joke and waste of time , if you coming from the train station don’t waste your time here 🤦

Just tried to order, i was told i can only order on the machine, struggled to sync my app with the machine stood around for 5 mins trying work it out then asked a member of staff and she said it should work and rather than coming to help or getting 1 of the 2 members of staff from the back she turned around and ignored me.

The best subway I have ever had. Staff were friendly. Food was so fresh and steaming it was so warm. Perfect amount of everything on the sandwich. Juice was perfect - crushed ice and had Diet Coke available!! Staff were constantly keeping on top of cleaning the shop. 10/10

They took my order, they took my money, then they took the piss. My order is now nearly an hour late. Do not tip the delivery driver via the app, give them cash I'd they are on time. Maybe that way they will stop working for this sandwich shop. To be honest, it's partially my fault because I know from attending this butty bar in person that the staff are incredibly slow movers.

Not impressed with the staff who are forcing us to order via the machine instead of making our life’s easier by ordering at the till.

The food was fresh and well-made. Spoiled by one of the members of staff - a grown man, not a teenager - on his break blaring videos and music on his phone the whole time I was eating lunch. When there’s already music playing in the shop, this clash is horrible to listen to. I don’t expect Michelin star treatment at Subway but just have some awareness of people who’ve paid for food. Just use headphones.

I ordered for 6 inch Mexicana Beef Crunch with double meat, i only put red onions and pickles down for the ingredients, But It contained sweetcorn in my sub. As I was eating after couple of bites I noticed sweet corns in my sub. So went to the staff to make sure I made the order right. He checked for the order to make sure I didn't opt for sweetcorn, after confirming it his response was outright rude. Saying there is only one or two sweet corns in there, so we can't do anything about it. So i was not happy, because I've worked in subway as a sandwich artist before, I know that's not how you reply to a customer. So i opened the sandwich and looked for sweet corns I found 5 more sweet corns and when I confronted them about it. They were like ok we'll make you another sub and I sat down. Few minutes later another staff came down to me and talked with me explain that and Mexicana Beef already contains sweetcorn. But that was nowhere mentioned in their menu. So it's a problem with their menu system as well. But they refused to give me refund or another sub. I paid 6.49 pounds, very disappointed, If it was not for the staff that who came and talk to politely I wouldn't even give a one star.

One of the fastest and good service around CMK tran station . I was late for my train and had around five-six minutes. The staff was quick, specially the person name"Sagar." He was super quick and friendly. He was a star. Because of him I was able to catch my train. You guys need more employees like him.

I work next door at Starbucks , I ordered my food , went to subway and they refused to make my order because it wasn’t on there screens , so I showed them my order , there was a glitch and it said arrive by 10:30 when the time is 11:52 , so I said probably a glitch so I showed my bank that I’ve paid 5 times may I add and still did not believe I ordered , then showed the app with my order and number and still didn’t believe me , quite annoying my break is now fully over and I did not get to eat or have a break and now have -4.75 out my bank and did not give a refund

New electric menus are great as you now have all the time in the world to decide what foot long feast you are craving lol😂

Not impressed knowing I was in a rush deliberately put my food a side whilst serving another and then telling me I can't sit in to eat at 7pm despite closing at 11pm. The attitude was bad 👎 if I could give a proper rating it would be -5 star....absolutely shocking

Wrong sandwich delivered to me. after calling the store they told me it’s not down to them and I had to go through the just eat app. However all of the rest of my order was correct, just one sandwich was wrong and had multiple different toppings on, one of which I am allergic to.

0* I walked out after seeing the machines. REMOVE THEM.

Well… it get’s worse. We last visited this Subway a month or two ago and had a less than satisfactory time. Why didn’t we learn our lesson, who knows? This time really took it to the next level - did the top half of my sub magically disappear? Did it slide off in the oven and is now being burnt to a crisp? Well, this time we won’t be coming back. Do better Subway MK.

Food arrived stone cold. Delivery driver said he got pulled over by police. Delivery time very long. Just eat didn’t care.

If I could give it less than one star I would

Since the self service machines were installed (as the only way to order food) the service has become really slow and difficult. The staff are very confussed and don't really know how to use the system. They refuse to serve you at the till and tell you that you have to use the machines which are not user friendly. It's such a shame they have adopted this system.

The shop has changed how food is ordered. Food has to be ordered using screen. the screens block the counter so one cannot see what salad is available.

Angry manager to begin with, who took your order. Then, they were very specific about which salad you were allowed first and second (as if it matters!) and then false advertising with the meal deal. Trying to charge us twice as much. Bad customer service, can't understand the accent and not done properly. Any other subway I have been to has better service. Terrible

Absolutely terrible service ,wouldn’t even let a pregnant lady use the toliet even tho the staff had just been in there and used the toilet disgusting behaviour

Went here after work to try their new footling menu, it wasn't particularly busy, but the servers seemed a bit disorganised. However they were friendly and apologetic, which was greatly appreciated. I had the triple cheese dipper which wasn't overly cheesy and I had it with the mango and habenero sauce. The churro was limp! Fortunately I had it at home and stuck it in the airfryer to crisp up and surprisingly the sugar & cinnamon coating didn't melt. Once crispy it was delish. The cookie was also really tasty with just the right amount of melty choc chips. Very pleasantly surprised at how good it all tasted!

I visit the subway Milton Keynes very frequently , I enjoy the food & service by team every time . Ram the manager of store is always ready to help & guide for different options available . He is very friendly

The 3 staff on tonight are an asset to Subway. Attentive, friendly and quick. Really impressive service that I was not expecting. Sorry I didn't catch their names.

The guy name ‘Ram’ is arrogant and has some ego or attitude issue. Has no sense to talk. The staff needs serious customer relationships training. They dont even smile and look very sad. I hope the owner takes some serious action all these negative reviews.

A student here who had been regular customer in this Subway but thats going to change after todays experience. I needed to use the bathroon just to wash my hands before I get my order but a very wise looking Karen staff just came and stopped me and said I can’t use the bathroom as its only for ”customers” even though I said I am going to place an order after I wash my hands. So you guys can now thank this person that thought she is going to be very wise but instead just lost a regular customer dining in the restaurant on regular basis.

Ordered Chipotle cheese steak and hunters chicken, ended up with Chipotle sauce on the chicken and bbq sauce on the cheese steak, but still fresh and tasty

delived the wrong order gave the food back to the driver expecting them to sort my order, the driver never told subway and subway say its not their responsibility and its the driver responsibility and cant contact the driver so now I have spent £20 and got nothing

Food came with sauces and salad we didn't want or ask for. Very poor if they can't get a simple order correct.

I ordered a Pepsi Max Cherry along with my Sub but I got the standard Pespsi Max no sugar instead. That is the wrong drink.

One sandwich had the wrong bread so 4/5 for quality. Driver, was excellent, polite, followed instructions, and effective.

The staff at the store are so slow waiting 10+ minutes for a sandwich to be made it's stupid. The store can't handle a small lunch time rush. 3 people behind the prep area going at a snails pace while the manger is sitting down in the seating area on his phone. Multiple people walked out including myself due to the poor service. Will definitely not be going back. If you have a train to catch I would recommend popping to Costa/Starbucks or Greggs to grab something to eat less likely to miss your train.

Lol, can't rate my food since I never received it. Ordered it 2 hours ago, thanks lads. Tasted 10/10. Hope the driver enjoyed his subway - cost about the same as an airplane wheel. Hope the ratty driver and his ratty dog enjoy the sandwiches in their ratty little tent under the bridge near CMK. Hope he doesn't choke! :D

Terrible. Was here Saturday morning, Buying a subway here was like as if i robbed fort knox. Unbelievable place terrible attitude to the customer. This place is unhygienic flies everywhere especially on the drinks machine saw about 30 flies and im not exaggerating.This subway is taking the bee jesus. I ordered a veggie only salad. kid pack here today. Next thing you know they telling me what i can i cant put it. It salad . You can only put five times of salad in your sandwich...bee jesus i learn something everyday. Next she goes you can only have water or fruit shoot. You d think i never bought a kids pack before. Well i buy two kids pack à week and not from here. These lot taking the .... because location is great plenty of footfall Buyer beware they charge 30p for the bag too.

Absolutely disgusted. I ordered roast chicken salad from subway but paid the extra £1.99 to include double meat The salad turned up it had absolutely no meat in it at all. When I called subway to complain the chap said he didn't deal with he was break, not good way to deal with customer so when I said what you going to do about he spoke to manager they said nothing they could do about it just complain to just eat. So basically I have paid £8.88 for Salad for nothing. As the main ingredient that costs the most missing. I would like refund and hope that other customers not treated the same way!!!!!! The staff were angry at the begining for no reason. They didn't even respond to my greeting. It ruined my whole meal. I didn't enjoy my meal at all because of their bad attitude.

Food was good but the staffs' attitude was really aggressive and all were angry. All the tables were dirty we had to clean them before we seat. I never come back.

From the moment I walked in, I was met with a lackluster and unfriendly demeanor. The cashier seemed disinterested, barely acknowledging my presence, and when I asked a simple question about the menu, their response was abrupt and dismissive. This negative attitude continued throughout my visit, leaving me feeling unwelcome and frustrated. Customer service should be a priority in any establishment, and unfortunately, Subway fell far short in this regard. The food was nice though.

I went here and bought a Pepperoni Pizza Toastie they cooked it and I asked them to Squirt a bit of Ketchup on Pizza they said no so I asked to see the Manager who was unfriendly and unhelpful he also said no. I explained to him all the other Subway shops have give me ketchup no problem. I told him to cancel the item which he was annoyed about. It's crazy over a bit of cheap ketchup the amount of money they make out of customers. I won't be using this branch of Subway again.

Horrendous service from a member of staff at the MK Train Station on Saturday 2nd September, around 9.30am

I ordered the Fin Catch and asked for a sauce and she refused as it was not on the pre-selected filling for the Fin Catch… ok then, fine. She then advised that I had already added an extra to the salad that was not suppose to be added…. I asked her to add SALT 🥹

Subway has introduced some healthier meal options to their menu but the Chicken BLT sub tasted like a chicken pasty bake you could buy from Greggs. I wouldn't say the quality has changed. for the better to be honest. The worker who served me was very acknowledgeable about the changes but very strict with the toppings. I really miss the Vegan Meatball Marina sub that was the best. The atmosphere did feel abit quiet and strange but its ideal if you need to grab a sub at the last minute before catching the train from MK Central.

Staff is fairly nice, however - disgusting sandwich! Undercooked and purpley chicken drenched in mayo, tomatoes and cucumbers taste like plastic. It actually made me sick after 2 bites and went in the bin...

Not worth for the money..staff is like being just making sure they are putting ingredients into a sub for the sake of adding..very less quantity compared to other subways.better go to some other place

The value for money was disappointing as the portion of salads provided by the staff fell short of expectations. This experience was notably subpar when compared to visits to other subway store.

I am a regular subway eater !!!! But today I meet a strange experience in Milton Keynes train station subway. Very worst customer service The store manager RAM Spoken to him regarding Coffee was cold so asking for a new one but he made 20 minutes to wait and not showing any respect at all …… No reply So I kept my coffee in the store and waked out silently .😞😞😞 From today onwards I have decided not to go any subway. Hope management will make sure not to happen any other customer in feature….. 🤞🏾

Wraps were perfect and arrived in sturdy packaging. Meatball sub was lovely and all the meals came as requested. Excellent ☺

Worst store in Milton Keynes. Rude staff and definitely not value for money. Asked for a salad…got a few lettuce leaves, 1 slice of cucumber l, 3 slices of tomorrow. Had to ask for cheese….the bloke hugged and puffed and threw a handful on. Won’t be going back….you’d be better off going the extra journey to another store.

Awful. Ordered toasted (wasn’t toasted) double meat (hardly any meat) and double cheese (no cheese) wrap. It was also tiny, with more wrap th anything else. And cold.

Accessibility is awful, heavy doors and a slight step in. This is a bit off putting to want to visit this subway store

Lovely more healthy option of fast food. It was busy due to the celebration this weekend but we were served very fast and I was so happy with my tasty choice.

Very poor customer service. My little son just 8 years old desperately needed to use the toilet, and I was abruptly told the he is not allowed as I didn’t yet buy an item yet. After such an unpleasant greeting there was no way I was prepared to purchase anything in this shop. Just terrible customer service. I went to the shop on Friday 22nd at about 6:30 and spoke to a male staff member.
