Subway in Amber Valley

My favourite sub to order is a BMT - salami pepperoni and ham, yummy. Staff are polite and are helpful with menu. My favourite Subway to come to always do the best!

I come here alot tbh and never thought to leave a reveiw until today after seeing the new lady there doing a order for uber eats, she carefully decorated It nicely with the food , taking alot of care to make it look perfect, I really noticed her which is lovely see , the man there is amazing to, very polite and lovely staff, make the sandwiches to a perfect standard

One very polite member of staff the rest appear to he completely indifferent. Nobody knows the menu and ordering feels like an ordeal. Won't go again.

Alright,this Subway is AMAZING! The food took only 5 minutes to make!The staff were very kind and also gave us a free cookie!I highly recommend,my little girl loved it defiantly go! (And its very cheap!) Only spent £7 ona footlong and a bag of crisps!The staff was so kind they showed me the app for Subway! And I got a free sandwich for my little girl!

Some of the slowest service you will ever see! Avoid if you want subway drive to Swanwick services

Went to alfreton subway for a quick bite to eat after a day out and the service was shocking. We were waiting around 20 minutes before we were served but there was only one person in front of us and they were paying. Couldn’t understand what the server was saying and it took around 10 minutes to make two basic sandwiches without salad or sauce. Absolutely rubbish

Friendly staff, perfect sandwich, Will call again! We were served by Amy and she made 2 footlong sandwiches that she filled perfectly One was vegan and she correctly changed her gloves as the other was chicken, tasted as good as they looked! The place was spotless and lovely and warm.

The staff was completely untrained and spoke bad English and messed up my order and charged me seperate for my drink aswell as a meal deal along side this the sandwich was not what I ordered this was at around 2pm yesterday also I saw her pick up somthing off the floor and carry on making the sandwich I will not be coming back again

Absolutely terrible shouldn’t be working with Deliveroo if they are unable to keep up with the work. waited over an hour for my order to not even be accepted. have now canceled my order and taken my custom else where.

Staff always arriving late to open up. You walk in to dirty looks on staff face like your disturbing them. The sub they make is a mess. they just throw it on. Hang your heads in shame subway. Definitely give this place a swerve

Food ok but soul-less staff who seem annoyed that you have turned up and disturbed them from using their phone. Little product knowledge when you ask questions. I suppose when a sandwich costs what the gal making earns in an hour, that's why you can't expect much. She also played with her hair a lot, which is either poor hygiene, poor training, or both

Fair price, fab staff, tasty food

Shocking! Once again only 4 thin bits of ham on a footlong sub! (Should be 8) and only 2 triangles of cheese! Manager blamed ‘new staff’ last time, but it is obvious that staff are told do this to save money! Absolute rip-off, especially when I don’t have any salad.

Lovely sandwiches and salads but this place is too small and understaffed for the demand in the area. They constantly get orders from the food apps like Just Eat, Deliveroo etc whilst juggling customers in the shop. Lunchtimes can be horrendous. I waited 25 minutes the other day just to get served, and there were only a couple of customers in front of me (a queue quickly formed though), but were overwhelmed by the food app orders. One poor delivery guy had been waiting 30 minutes in the shop to pick up his customers order and was understandably getting irate. If Subway are going to accept these orders and work with the food apps, they need capacity to do so, both in terms of space and adequate staffing. It didn't help that it appears staff are constantly in training. They must have a high turnover and I can see why. Sort it out Subway.

Walked in for breakfast through an open door at 9:10am, door had a sign that said "we are open" lady in the back eventually spots me, I say "I'm waiting to be served" to which she replies that they're not open! Lock the door then, perhaps remove the "we are open" sign until you're actually open and don't treat customers as though your mistake is theirs.

I called on Wednesday 21st October to collect a meal for someone, regarding the meal it was fine and was enjoyed by the recipient.My moan is about the staff, I've never witnessed such a dis-interested pair of workers in a customer facing role like these pair especially the older lady, it was such an unfriendly, unwelcoming feeling portrayed towards customers, even the communication asking what we want was as if she was forcing herself to ask. The staff need major training in customer service.Some might say it might be because we are currently living in uncertain times, aren't we all but it doesn't mean you have to show unfriendly approach towards customers.

Extremely rude staff, tried to make me pay twice, due to there error! cost me 1000 sub points and left with no food, disgusted and upset A disgrace to the food industry

Great sandwich however £10.58 for 2 footlongs is a little expensive

A pleasant enough restaurant in a great location. Unfortunately, it isn’t very clear who’s in charge as all the staff look very young. The staff they have are always polite but I think they are missing out by not trying to up-sell. Many customers aren’t aware that they can have extras for a small charge or that all subs are available in a salad bowl for the same price as a sub. They also have a few side orders that are poorly advertised and often go unnoticed. The subs are usually well made and nothing is too much trouble for them if you ask. The cambros need to be kept a little tidier and the use of stock needs looking at for them to be able to maximise profits. This store would definitely benefit from clear and consistent management as they seem to be left to their own devices and probably need some more detailed training. Considering the age of the staff and the lack of leadership they do really well.

Had 2 days of sickness after visiting this place. To be honest it looks awfully unhygenic and run down. Staff picking tgere nose as you walk in does not help.

As always great food. But no toilet.

Small subway store, seemingly no toilet facilities and minimal seating and staffing. Average, but not terrible. Reasonable store cleanliness and speed of service despite minimal staffing levels (seemingly one person serving today). The staff member was polite and cheerful however!

Normally a great service, but I went there at 8:15 on a Wednesday (1 hour and 15 minutes after opening time) to find the store shut. Rather disappointing to be honest

Like the way all the food is freshly handled ( as all food should be ) clean gloves worn every time ...produce nice n fresh ...all at a great price ...even better sub of the day only £2.49

TBH can't expect anymore or any less from a subway. Better service than many and decent food. Might be a little small for sitting in though.

Create your own sandwich or wrap. Healthy alternative to other fast food options. Reasonable prices.

It would be nice if I could go for food without feeling guilty about asking for a sandwich as I can see the faces of the staff look depressed as hell and rude with a very bad tone when they ask “what bread!” Need to refine their customer service skills I think.

I have a lovely tuna salad and my daughter had a tuna sub, the staff was very knowlegable, polite and had a smile on there faces. Its only a little subway, but will be going back there again

It’s a subway. They’re all much of a sameness. Staff are polite and friendly. Never had a bad sandwich or bad staff. I use it all the time as it’s nicer than the other local sandwich shops. And cheaper.

It's a subway. I l love the subs more than Greg's, hills in or any other place you go for something similar.

Much too much bread for me = lots of different deals though and grandchildren like it = certainly not my sort of place even for a snack

What can you say , it's a Subway they sell sandwiches, Clean and tidy as most are , i just had a quick drink but food looked , well, like Subway food.

La primera cosa que me di cuenta de este lugar fue la limpieza del personal. Cambiaron sus guantes después de tomar el dinero de alguien y poner nuevos a servir la próxima al cliente. La comida era objeto de consuelo, la ensalada era agradable y fresco. Sin duda volveremos.

As expected, it's your usual subway but with one downfall. It needs updating! Everything in there seems old and tacky which makes the place seem not very clean.

Llamado para un subgrupo de desayuno con un amigo que era el desayuno de apetencias. Yo estaba un poco alarmado por las salchichas y huevos cocinados previas que fue montado delante de mí, a mi pan. Nos metimos en lo que creo que era un microondas. Fue extraño ver, y no me aguanta demasiado espero que sepan bien ... estaba equivocado, y estaba buenísimo. No grasa, y muy satisfactorio. Volveré en lo que yo considero que es una buena relación calidad-precio, abundante para comenzar el día.

Muy pequeña y compacta. Sucio en la zona de asientos, pero limpias y la preparación de la comida. Estoy seguro de que no puede perjudicar al personal para tomar un poco más orgullo en el trabajo y quizás un poco cuidado al tratar con los clientes. El sandwich estaba bien, pero yo recomiendo sentir que es demasiado caro para lo que te dan. Hay un montón de opciones para su sándwich y los rollos de pan son frescas.

As always food good kids love it here free re fills on all soft drinks never to busy bmt is my fav :)
