McDonald's in Amber Valley

I went to Macdonald's get a meal for myself and some friends and they had nothing in stock, the staff continued to audibly bicker in the background and it took a ridiculous amount of time for a fairly small order to be completed

It’s a shambolic place to be honest. Everytime you order, the orders wrong. Order for collect, it takes an age. Staff are beyond incompetent

Super clean,bright friendly staff,and always like to see just eat guys ready to feed people with their bags at the ready🤙😎

Food fresh and most items available for a service station. No milkshake availability.

Was quite slow when we went, which caused a big queue in the middle of the night

Absolute shambles of a place ordered 3 things and was told to park up and wait..... 20 mins elapsed and still no order food finally arrived after 25 mins and was cold arrived this place at all cost.

I had to wait over an hour for my delivery. Apparently according the driver they didn't even see the order on the screen at their end and deemed it a "technical issue". No fault to the driver of course. When it did arrive the presentation of the burgers was as if someone just slammed it together and shoved it in the box. I get it's fast food, but when it looks like it's been thrown against a wall or overly saturated in sauce (the McRib, which btw, highly overrated) it's just not right. Ever since this place had it's refurbishment it's gone down hill massively. Again I know it's fast food, and not fine dining, but there are standards for McDonalds and this place is falling incredibly short of them.

Food was nice, chips were nice and crispy , food arrived hot and nothing was missed. Didn’t have to wait too long. However, we customised 2 burgers to make them plain, but they came with all fillings so we couldn’t eat those, which was disappointing.

Chips and burger were so greasy, I’ve never tasted a McDonald’s like it. Rock hard chips like they had been cooked over and over again. No serviette or condiments offered. Would not visit here again

15 minute wait, app wouldn't work. Didn't appear to have enough staff.

The food was terrible, we ordered birthday cake donuts, and we got the wrong things, and when they brought the donuts to us, the donuts were ROCK SOLID. we got a quarter pounder instead of a Big Mac, and they told us we were wrong to take it back at first, and the Mcflurry might aswell be the McWhipCream and the attitude from one of the staff members was very rude and made us feel uncomfortable and wrong for ordering food WHICH WE DIDNT EVEN GET The KFC next door is nice, though 👌

Ordered offline didn’t received the main parts of my meal (e.g syrup for the pancakes) they sent me some small hashbrowns instead of the normal ones and when I tried to call up to complain they wouldn’t answer the phone I called 3 times and even sat there for 4 mins letting it ring with no answer. Terrible service.

Disappointed no milk shakes no McFlurry!!!

More interest in serving Uber/justeat delivery drivers

We order 2 chessy bacon flatbreads and got 1 with bacon and one without and it says uber eats on the sticker

Do not order on the App. Cold food, they don't let you know when it has arrived, just dump it on your doorstep. Impossible to complain!!

Still no hot chocolate, had a full refurbishment and still terrible

I asked for no burger sauce on my burger as I don't like mayonnaise. I also got no mustard, ketchup or pickles which was disappointing and left it quite dry. Also, fries were cold

All good, does what it says on the tin 😋 Update 30 Mar 24. Breakfast. It's still good, you know what your getting each time. New update 4 Oct 24, they have had a refit and it seems there's less room but that might just me of course. I ate in and have to say thatthe waiting time is longer for food as I order through app. More an observation than a criticism but the more technology the slower the process 😂

Time kept changing to later and later and food was freezing cold

The seal in bag had been opened and food was cold.

The time kept changing for delivery. My drink had spilled in the bag and it didn't just happen when I took the order the bag was dripping and driver left quickly. Hardly any chips for all 3 meals. Shocking.

The food was cold and the burger and chips weren’t even in the boxes. They were just thrown in the bag!

I work uber when arrive the number order ready so can't believer they don't good team when packet the food in bags put shelf without ask us driver for number order they are poor worse I eve see it number of time when I arrive

Not the same since the refurb. Asked for some sugar and the girl just chucked it on the counter when it would have been easier to fill the container on on the station. I had the philli cheese burger. It looked more like a coaster than the one on the advert which the guy struggled to lift!

Nearly 50min late from original time given and food was cold and had to re heat to make it edible. Won’t be using again

Couldn't even send 2 Big Mac meals out that were the same temperature and the hot 1 was finished before the cold 1 was replaced despite 3 trips to the collection point so requested a refund which was provided without so much as a half apology. Can't give no stars or I would!

Fries cold and chewy. Said it would take 15 to 30 mins when ordered and then took an hour.

Never had a bad experince here the staff are always friendly and polite the foods always tasty likeing the new chicken piecies they seem to always have a problem with the toilets they have had a refurbishment it looks very clean modern light and bright looks really nice

Awful! We waited over 25 minutes for fast food, ended up getting a refund. The manager told us they were short staffed, yet they had 2 or 3 people serving tables for all the people that can't walk a couple of metres to the till. When I complained about there system and asked for the refund, the manager shrugged their shoulders. Great attitude.

Delivery driver took a 30 minute detour in the opposite direction so the food was cold by the time it arrived. Not the first time this particular driver has done this either as had him deliver here before and he always takes long detours or stops at other restaurants along the way for 10-15 minutes breaks. Don’t know who the driver is but he always wears shades. Not acceptable behaviour. Doesn’t even apologise for being late

Chips were extremely salty. Tasted like a whole sack of salt had been thrown on them. Also an item we ordered wasn't delivered. this isn't the first time this has happened and its completely frustrating. Its not just this branch either. Seems to be a theme at Macdonalds

Place not busy at all, no cars going through the drive through, nobody in the restaurant.... 15 mins and no food had to ask for a refund, which they did, but this place is constantly so slow it is untrue

We in here today 11/09/24 pulled into the drive through parked atbox1 to order and was told to wait a minute no other car was waiting but by the time it came to getting served there were5 other cars pulled in they served 2other cars before me.i then went to pay for my order the chap on the till dropped my change on the floor and closed the window with no apology I then went to the collection windowwere I was told to wait again as there was nothing ready.poor service and staff I then disided to ring the manager she would not give me her name so I knew to whom I was speaking to,I told her of the problem I had had today in a good manner the she told me I was being aggressive to her this was not true I pointed out that my tone was my normal and was not aggressive in anyway. The out come was not resolved and she could not care less about the points as a manager I thought she was very unprofessional I expected a better service

Good food if you want something quick as it had quick service when we went. Decent sized car park as well :)

all the food arrived cold. was prepared at 15.55 as stated on the receipt and wasn't delivered untill 16.40. stale cold food and onlyvredunded half of my order. absolutely disgusting. shame on both McDonald's and just eat!

Dear McDonald's, I recently visited your store located in Somercotes, Alfreton on 07/07/2024 at 3:45 pm. I'm disappointed to report that I had to wait nearly 20 minutes to pick up my order, even though it was already ready. When I approached one of the staff members to inquire about the delay, he responded in a rude manner, stating that he was busy and could not assist me. I then called the head office, but they were closed at the time. Upon returning to the store, I requested the name of the staff member, but he refused to provide it, as he did not have a name badge. I also asked the manager on duty, but they too declined to share their name. I expect a higher standard of customer service from a reputable establishment such as McDonald's. The lack of accountability and unwillingness to address my concerns is unacceptable. I would appreciate a prompt response addressing this issue and outlining the steps you will take to ensure that such incidents do not occur again in the future. Sincerely, G. Shan
