Subway in Southampton

Unprofessional staff. Night indian guy is very rude to delivery drivers. Makes them wait, doesn’t let them use toilet and doesn’t give order just because it will take long to prepare.

Very good best in town have been to other branches but still find this one above all the rdst

had attend a funeral yesterday due to my friend eating here and getting terrible food poisoning. would not recommend. fly high 🕊️✝️

my friend ate the food here and hasnt stopped coughing up blood and i think he has cancer.

Went here this morning for a breakfast sub with my wife and our 2 kids (kids eat free) what an issue!! The young lady behind til knew nothing about the deal took 15 mins at least and several phone calls to her manager before she sorted the issue, and that only happened when i said i knew the owner (which i do) mop bucket not stored away, no hair net or hat, no apron was worn either, Edit worst sub ever eaten!!

The best subway franchise in Southampton. These people know how to make a sandwich. Making a sandwich isn't hard. But making a really great mouth watering sandwich, that leaves you wanting another 12 inches. That is sandwich skills right there! Staff welcoming, and friendly. The ingredients are fresh and tasty. Thank you and keep up the great sandwich skills. Without sandwich experts, we will all just fall apart.

Probably the worst subway in the area. The gentleman behind the counter takes no pride in his work and is rude. I’ll never order from here while he work there.

Overly toasted bread. Breakfast sandwich with hash brown and sausage only. No egg no bacon.. usually get this and it’s always been wonderful but today it’s just disappointing and frustrating. Not happy

Very rude staff i went to this subway today the staff was talking with me rudely after that i have points on my subway app and i told him to scan it and want to use my points he just said scanner is not working and i told him to show me its not working he speak with me so rudely. Even i know the scanner is working because i was working in subway before. I don’t know why the managing team of this subway and staff is so rude

I would not waste money again at subway for the new line. Over priced for what you get.

Speedy, unassuming service. All the options - that you'd expect from Subway - are on offer. Never experienced them running out of ingredients here. Not particularly cheap - but cheaper than some neighbouring stores (think Winchester). Plenty of seating inside - but not exactly a warm atmosphere. Again - a common complaint for many Subways in the UK (they're stuck in a time warp).

Toilet is not just filthy from a day of neglect, it's months of not being cleaned professionally. My problem is, if that's the toilet, what's the food hygiene like? Sorry guys it's a no from me!🫣

Our order was 90 minutes later from the initial estimated delivery time. When I called the restaurant as app said updating order, they informed me a driver had not been allocated. Communication needs to be better if this is the case, the consumer should not be left waiting for order with no idea when/if it will arrive. Compensation should be issued in this instance.

I was yesterday to eat there,stuff was friendly but food awful, had bad taste, was old food,and I had a bad indigestion after I finished eating.

Second sub came without cheese

Ordered a sandwich and they forgot half of the filling and just sent me turkey in a warm sandwich and nothing else, I expect it’s because I asked for vegan cheese because I’m lactose intolerant which probably somehow either confused the workers who don’t know what lactose intolerance(surely they should know working in a restaurant) is OR some weirdo thinking it was funny???

The melt was hot and so tasty, cookies were fresh too. My cold drink was still chilled too. It was just under 5 minutes late but no real issue, otherwise 5 stars Great start to my weekend 😊

Highly disappointed this time. At the time the food was supposed to be delivered we got a call about one of the items being unavailable. Surely they'd know this when the order came in but it took ages for them to get in touch. By the time the food arrived it was cold and soggy. It hadnt been put together very well, it all looked like it had been chucked together. I couldnt see or taste my cheese, let alone the extra cheese Id paid for. We've ordered several times before, not usually any issues.

Subway had ran out of a sauce and apparently tried to call me but they must have called a wrong number the staff was very rude on the phone when I called them and the delivery man was very rude too and his body odour had put me off my food

Ordered a veggie delight foot long.... order arrived, it was literally just the bread with sauce and seasoning inside.... no contents aside from sauce and crispy onion seasoning... I get how the place gets busy, but to forget the entire sub filling? Dude... what the heck?

Food wasn't even toasted, barely in the bread and wrapping only half covered the food so lost some in the bag. The delivery driver came through the back garden instead of using the front door and left the gate open when leaving

Food arrived over an hour after I ordered it (despite saying it would arrive in 15 minutes). When it arrived the food was stone cold. Disappointed.

My advice is don’t use just eat. Delivered the wrong order. £34 pounds worth. Shop didn’t want to know because was the drivers fault not there’s. Just eat said they would respond within 48 hours. £34 pound out of pocket and no food. .

Received the wrong order from the delivery driver from a different restaurant , phoned Subway who said it is Just Eat's problem, still awaiting resolution from Just Eat after numerous emails and live chats.

Large queues and grumpy staff are never a good mix but seeing a staff member wipe his nose (with his gloved hand) and then immediately go back to making a sandwich does not help. To add to that me and my wife were the only ones in wearing masks. While I appreciate that it's a choice for each and every one of us right now, that differs for Subway employees who are required by Subway's policies to wear masks. They guys either didn't know that or just didn't care. Either way we ending up cancelling our order and leaving. If you are ever stuck in a position where you have to choose between this Subway and not eating then I'd stay hungry, it's the wiser option.

Ordered a small meal for 1 and a toastie - I didn’t receive my drink, crisps or cookie - small meal for one is £7.89 so I basically paid that for just a basic 6 inch sub- I’ve also tried calling the restaurant numerous time and no one picks up the phone

When paying for extra cheese and double meat i wish they actually put it in the sub, instead i got no cheese and the regular amount of meat

Additional cookie was missing from order but everything else was well prepared & yummy

Service and attitude improved significantly since change of Management. The new staff are friendly and patience for the kids who can't make up their minds for a while. Certainly has lessen the stress when ordering the food. Thanks for your patience! 5 stars for the service. (Hope the previous staff has gone, not just a day off) Keep up the good works. I'll be back more often now.

Its a subway. It used to be a little better than it is now. I think the HQ of subway have shrunk their bread, making the subs, a little "sub par" Less room for salad, and more room for the sauce to go everywhere else but in the sub! Still a healthier option than others. The staff are making the best of what they have... polite and attentive

Slowest Subway in Southampton. If you order anything online, you'll have 4-5 drivers cancel before the order is ready because it always takes them ages. No matter the hour, the restaurant is "busy", so any order that would normally take 5 minutes to prepare, will take 30 minutes. Avoid at all costs.

They got the orders wrong, one order they put the wrong salads in, the other order they didn’t even include the salads. It’s hard to read the order properly.

paid £1.50 extra for guacamole and there was NADA

wanted to have the 20 perc of so ordered from subway above bar. This did not work so had to order from portswood without reduction unfortunately

Good food, slow service but none of the 3 staff members were wearing face masks, I don't care personally but pretty sure that's against the law?

Our food was delivered late after the driver couldn’t locate our house but instructions were given. We understand this wasn’t his fault that he was lost but as a result our food came cold and therefore wasn’t what we ordered as we ordered toasted, indicating that we would receive it warm. Therefore as a result we are rather disappointed.
