Subway in City of London, Westminster

It's a Subway - people will be familiar with the offering. Friendly service at 18:20 today. Red onion in sub had loads of skin on it still making eating the sandwich unpleasant. Poor product today.

Not a great attention to detail with orders. Short change you a fair bit with toppings.

I visited this Subway with the intention of using a 50% off discount code from my new Subway app. Despite this location being listed as a participating store, the restaurant staff declined to honor the discount code. Moreover, the response from the staff was not only dismissive but also quite rude. As a regular customer who frequently visits Subway with my office colleagues, I have always enjoyed the quality of your food and the convenience your restaurants offer. However, this recent experience has significantly marred my perception of the brand. The unprofessional behavior and refusal to honor the discount left me feeling unwelcome and undervalued as a customer. Will not visit again

In terms of value for money and the service it was not great. Conscious this is central London branch so you (Subway) might be able to justify the price but that fine line between trying to save your costs and customer satisfaction and that line is not being balanced here. Overall the customer service was not good and the lady there was rude.

I’m sure most people have been to Subway already but thought I’d share my experience. If you’ve not been then basically they make baguette style sandwiches. You choose your size of bread (6inch or foot long). If you want it toasted and if you want cheese. Then you pick your filling and sauce. I usually go for a footlong Italian BMT, on heart Italian bread, cheese and tasted with lettuce and sweetcorn and south west sauce. Hard to take a good photo of the food but it does what it says. Service is rapid. There’s no place in this subway to sit. You’re just in and out so to speak. They’re generally pretty organised. Even if the queue is ten people it will go in a flash. It’s never the best quality overall but it’s not trying to be fine dining. Perfectly fine for a bit of lunch. Will go again

The bread was rock solid, would not buy lunch from here again.

I recently visited Subway 129 and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. From the moment I stepped in, it was evident that there were significant issues with communication and employee competency. First and foremost, the lack of communication among the employees was striking. It seemed as though they were not on the same page, leading to confusion and inefficiency in serving customers. Additionally, the atmosphere was tense, with employees appearing to be frustrated and even shouting at each other in front of customers. What truly disappointed me was the refusal to accommodate a simple request for specific toppings on my Subway sandwich. As a regular customer who has visited various Subway locations over the past two years, I have never encountered such resistance to a reasonable request. Despite politely explaining my preference, the employee flat-out refused to fulfill it, citing reasons that seemed arbitrary and unreasonable. This experience not only left a sour taste in my mouth but also made me question the professionalism and customer service standards at this particular Subway location. It's disheartening to encounter such incompetence and lack of willingness to accommodate basic customer preferences. In conclusion, my visit to Subway 129 was marred by poor communication, employee incompetence, and an unwillingness to meet simple customer requests. I hope that management takes steps to address these issues and improve the overall experience for customers in the future. Until then, I cannot recommend this location to others seeking a pleasant dining experience at Subway.

Never received an order. Complained multiple times but have received no response from the restaurant. Seems likely it was never delivered since the app didn’t show the order was being prepared

Order said it was delivered and it didn’t arrive at all. I got charged for no food!

Nothing came, they don’t answer their phones and I was left in the unknown and knowing the way just eat run they’re gonna want photo evidence for a delivery that never turned up…

Got a 6 inch tuna sub from here on my lunch break on the Wednesday and that night I kept getting woken up by extreme pain and burning sensations in my stomach. I eventually got an urge to be sick around 4am and from that point on, I was violently sick every 30-40 minutes most of Thursday. It is now Saturday and although I’m not vomiting as often as I was on Thursday, I am still being sick a couple of times a day. I didn’t eat anything else on Wednesday which could have caused my sickness and judging by some of the other reviews and comments about hygiene, it really explains a lot. My GP has confirmed it’s most likely norovirus.

Worst subway I have ever visit. The guy said that we don’t bother about customer satisfaction and hygiene during busy hours. No proper wrapping, very rude staff, no proper filling, etc. This franchise gonna ruin the image of Subway.

Maps says Sat. open 00:00, but in fact closes 22:00h.

Today, just now around 11:10 I probably bought the worst wrap I ever ate... The guy is f useless and should be throwned out of the food industry at least. The wrap was horribly made and the smallest I ever got and also very strange that I had to pay even more for it (cash) than in any other subway shop! The guy behind the tills is just a pure useless scamer and doesn't care about customer or food quality at. Very very disappointed with todays experience and definitely not coming back there again after today...

I had to wait till some one to show up. Bread was old and horrible. Customer services was disgraceful, last time in Subway and I will recommend my colleagues to stop buying food from this shop

I walked in on my lunch break 04/08/23 at around 16:30 to have some food. As the man started to slice the bread he dropped the knife on the floor, picked it up with a bunch on long black hair on it and continued slicing it, I had to call him 3 times before he stopped and looked up to me as he was pulling the hair out of the cut side of the bread. I asked if he could switch the bread and knife, this person turned around to put the dirty bread in the bread tray thing, rinsed the knife then went back and picked out the same bread and started cutting it from the other side, I was baffled. Me and another customer turned around and walked out as you can see on your CCTV. He didn't apologise or try stop us from leaving the store. Looking forward to your response.

The sub they made was on the okay side. The bread was much thicker and chewy than usual. There is no seating here

Food quality is good and obviously with subway you know exactly what you are getting… it is an extremely loud and noisy venue, however, and you can feel shoved around in the queue like cattle to get your sandwich, which honestly makes Deliveroo seem a much more appealing alternative

This Subway has suffered with a drop off in quality recently. With the increase in prices it's not a good combo. I only go when I run out of other options. Shame really.

Sagar is the waste employee I ever meet. Not recommend him. Don’t speak English and make my sandwich badly.

Really dismissive staff, as soon as we walked in they seemed annoyed that we were there.

Yesterday, I ordered a chicken tikka sub on the server's recommendation for dinner. A pain started developing within 10-15 mins of eating it. I was in excruciating pain the whole night after. It still doesn't feel 100% better after sleeping it off. Don't buy from here. You'd only get food poisoning. I wish I had read the reviews before buying. They say the same.

Supposed to be open until 6pm but closed at 5pm and staff refused to open. Makes zero sense for a shop to say it's open

This restaurant is totally incomparable to others that I've dined in before!! They have excellent food & service as well as well-trained servers that really know how to take care of their customers.. Subway - Thank you.

Got food poisoning from this store today! Avoid at all costs heard a few people have been ill from this store but it was local to my work so I thought I would get it but was a very bad mistake!

no working card machine, often have missing ingredients, rude staff, cash handling & food prep are done by the same employee without changing gloves or washing hands.

Then when you order again, they often just cancel. Eventually when you get your order through, the wrong items will be delivered (At first I didn't believe the other reviews, but it's evident that this is a common problem with this place) and as the food is late, the food they didn't even get correct becomes cold and disgusting. I'll be surpised to see this place open in the near future or at least on this site...

asked for veggie delight but was offered veg sandwich with pattie and obviously was charged high..

they gave me the wrong order the wrong food, this mix up is making me question if there was any cross contamination. the whole order is wrong you gave me someone elses food. im a nurse on my lunch break i don't have time to be waiting on someone elses delivery. what if i was allergic to the ingredients in this order? everything down to the bread was wrong. such a shame. don't think i can order from here again using just eat.

driver almost an hour late phoned me after 20 mins of "looking for my building" saying he was lost even though it is ten mins away from my road distgusting by the time it got here went in the bin nasty cold food

He try to making Fool us because evry subway the subcard point is valid and he try to making me fool and after long he agreed to claim with the point but he redeem my point three times rather then two times. He told me that point system is only for our regular customer that's not fair enough. The worst experience in this subway.

Having been to this store many times, I can honestly say that it's got to be one of my favorite Subway restaurants. Friendly service, great food, comforting environment and most importantly value for money.

Good food, the shop is rather small which can mean social distancing is tight. But they handled it well only allowing a few people in at a time. Only place open at the moment near the office other than supermarkets.

No cheese, untoasted, wrong bread... Couldn't get much more wrong really.

Over half an hour from food being ready before it was collected. Toasted sandwich was somewhat dead by the time it arrived.

Ordered the food this morning at 8.30am for a 12.15pm delivery. This was for customers as we were delivering a presentation at 12.30pm. The food arrived at 1.20pm, over an hour late and the event had almost finished. Will not be using them again. Shocking.

Awful- Ordered and was given a 20 minute time slot, called the restaurant to see where my food was when didn't arrive and they told me its all done and awaiting the driver, the result was a ridiculously late delivery and cold food worthy of the bin if not anything else.

Quick service. Small location but the staff are super quick, especially during lunch. Usual subway menu on offer and you can use vouchers and points unlike other subways in the area. Tower hill for instance. Vouchers cannot be used there. This one is all good. They can be a bit pushy when it comes to adding stuff on, just say no.

Order not read properly, items of food in some salads that were not requested

They didn't accept the voucher while they were in the list which participating. Tried to explain to them but they just didn't care. Won't go back.

really pleased, the sandwich was well wrapped and comes in a box. the cookie was yummy and the drink was nice and cold. they take care over their orders unlike many! well done Subway Cannon St keep up the good work!

The breakfast deal is worth it, 6inch sub and hot drink for £3 and £1.50 more for 12inch. I prefer the eggs and pick my salad but sausage available too. Also normal sub fillings. ultimate recommendation is meatball marinara.

The guy on the till charged me two times saying that the first transaction did not go through. After showing him that he has charged me two times, he said I’m gonna get a refund “automatic”. He didn’t apologise,and remain confident like that wasn’t his first time doing so.

The food is fine; about what you expect from any Subway, although it was a bit sloppier than usual and only half cut. The service was lacking. One guy in particular made me really uncomfortable. I didn't go back.

It's subway in the city. Quick efficient service at peak times

Shop is a bit cramped when bizzy but food is good .

My salad was a complete mess, half the meat from other places and there was paper stuck to the meat.

Very small with an awkward layout but has everything you would expect in a Subway branch except a W.C.
