Staff obliging and ready to serve me. Couldn't complain about the food or coffee. Basic seating area but clean. Thanks

I have no problems with the staff in fact I feel sorry for them constantly being screamed at by the manager. I asked for extra cheese on my 6” cheese sub as £3.79 for a sub with 2 pieces of cheese on is ridiculous and the manager started screaming at me telling me if I wasn’t happy with her system I should get out. The staff behind the counter looked mortified by her reaction. Safe to say I will not be returning

Ordered on the app for a colleague to collect and bring back to the office. 4 footings 1 salad. 1 footlong had the wrong bread, no salad when ALL was selected, no sauce and no cheese, it wasn’t toasted. Checked the app/ receipt and it was correct on it. Honestly the most disappointing subway sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. The salad had no onion sauce, and the patties were mushy. I will not be returning. I’m not surprised this store has such a low rating.

Firstly I would like to say how appalled I am of my experience in this sandwich shop. Right to whoever is hiring those simpletons at subway what is going on?? are you sniffing glue on your breaks??? Anyway, I went in wanting some nachos and the little comedian behind the counter decided to put the nachos in a sandwich and then proceed to try and make me pay for it. He then agreed to make my nachos which he did peacefully. I then got my food and sat down. Well that's what I thought. I went straight through chair. Everyone stood laughing at me and my wet underwear. I left in shame and without my nachos.

Food was really nice and well toasted. Managers are lovely and always take care of my order well.

Well what can I say. I have been to this branch a few times now and the food is nearly always stone cold and the bread not properly toasted, but my last visit took the absolute biscuit. I was ordering from a lovely young girl and all was going well, until a cheap Jackie Chan lookalike wearing tight gym trousers who I assume is the manager, came out and took over and it all very quickly went downhill. His trousers were that tight I could make out the outline of his behind and other private features. Firstly I asked for a free cappuccino using the points from my rewards app and he gave me the discounted coffee that comes with the breakfast sandwich as the free one then insisted I paid full price for the second coffee. Leaving me a couple of quid out of pocket. I then asked to redeem points for another coffee on my second order for my colleagues, and was told that I can't use it again. I am now about £4 out of pocket. He then tried charging me 10p when asking for a carrier bag, these have historically been free, so I was forced to leave with loads of sandwiches and drinks bundled into my arms. I wasn't paying out of principle, especially after the poor service and attitude I received from Mr Chan. I will not be returning to this store, and will be taking mine and my colleague's business elsewhere. We have breakfast 3-5 times per week. If it was possible to leave 0 stars I would

Tastes exactly like subway, I honestly only went to stop my mountain of reward points from expiring but it made me realise why I used to eat there so often: quick service, laid back workers (at least at lunchtime), not many kids running around, and that Subway smell of baked bread and cookies is just SOOOOO good it just immediately makes me crave subway. My only real complaint is they always hold back on the cheese (their double is what their normal should be) but every subway does this. I also feel like if you can't eat gluten or are avoiding carbs, you'll be disappointed with the salads as they're only really half the experience. Definitely takes second place on the "Snobbish people say they don't like eating there but will want you to get them something if they know you're going" list, McDonald's taking first place.

Been ordering here many times in the past years haven’t been here like a year, was shocked this time! Bread was not even half it’s 1/4 and taste old! Tuna that I can’t even see them in the bread, I added few salad into tub all of those tiny tiny portions. I finish it in 2 minutes which was unbelievable. Was nobody here but I think I know why. This will be my last visit and please avoid here if you can! If it can get a 9/10 before now I’m not bothered to give a 0.09/10 now it’s a shame as subway used to be a good and should be continued good

I've been in this location a number and times and it's been great. This is the second time I ordered online and both times it was wrong 1) it wasn't toasted (which isn't that bad) 2) I paid for double protein and double cheese which they missed....I called and was just told "go through the delivery company" no apology. Shocking how people can't even read an order anymore...

I go here all the time and every time I turn up with my online order it's ready and hot the lady there is very lovely and does a great job with a friendly and welcoming tone

One staff member was pig ignorant, its how she told me I couldn't use a voucher that it said I could in the app .didn't even look properly.

Terrible service, left waiting 10 minutes when there was no queue and all I needed was 3 cookies that were directly next to the staff member behind the counter. No manners from staff, talking among each other rather than serving customers. Rude staff, will not be returning.

My favourite food joint of them all, polite staff great selection of pre-designed subs or create your own for a price the only downside ive experienced is they ran out of topping/filling but they subsidize with another topping of your own choice which can be a blessing

Sent out my order with olive instead of jalapeno as well as a chilli sauce I didn't want

Brought footlong on way home from derby I ordered a footlights ham with all trimmings lettuce tomato etc got home partner was eating his as I was mime to realise the bread roll was hard and stale won't be visiting again

Ordered off just eat to be waiting 1hour& 15 minutes saying they were trying to assign a driver, no update on what was happening after my delivery time changed for the 3rd time. In the end I cancelled my order and won’t be ordering again from then after trying to ring the store twice to get a update I get a phone call of a member off staff saying I can collect my order instead and that it was just eats fault, does no one know how to communicate properly with customers anymore

Food was good 👍 service was very very slow, atmosphere was unbelievably hot 🔥 you couldn't get your breath.

Salad box is great! I'm just disappointed by portion size of chicken or tuna, especially when you see them piling it on the subs. I always say no to cheese so why can't I have a little extra of meat or tuna.

I asked for a salad box which the girl made using brown lettuce and green tomatoes it didn’t look the nicest but I didn’t say anything, my partner was ordering a sub , on completion off my salad I asked for a bit off light mayo to which I was told ‘ No it’s not on the description ? I then said do you can’t just put a bit off sauce on ? I was told No !! To which I turned to my partner and said I wasn’t happy to pay or stay , to then be told I could buy some ?? Needless to say we left , minus the salad or sub which wasn’t made anyway , but the attitude off the staff was disgusting along with the old salad , we won’t be returning

Really sad to see the sorry state of this place now days , used to be full with regular customers but I’m not surprised it’s not anymore by the sheer incompetence of the staff . This is not a reflection of that staff but clearly of the management ! Absolutely awfull not a single member knows what they are doing . It’s not a difficult job to make a sandwich. ( and yes I know how subway works I worked there myself for 3 years in this exact shop 10 years ago! ) I asked for a chicken pizziola only for them to have no idea what it was to watch I explained and told them how to make it , one of the girls told me I can only have it on white or brown bread due to cross contamination 🧐 . Wasn’t allowed my own choice of salad and sauce on it . Not only that the management is outrageously rude to staff and customers.dare I say bullies. No wonder the staff turn around is at least once a week ! Floors are filthy and looked like they haven’t had a good deck scrub since I last did it when I worked there 10 years ago with previous management . Shop is a disgrace

This Subway location was wonderful, although I did find something rancid within the confines of my food. Whilst I was eating my wonderful sandwich, I discovered my friend's dog inside! But, it did taste very nice so I continued to eat. I included the pic of the dog before I ate it.

Ordered flamin hot nachos and got chilli heatwave crisps in a box! No sauce or cheese on the “nachos” and they sold it to me for near £4! Ordered double meat on my sandwich and didn’t get any extra meat on £2 wasted and bread wasn’t cooked up to usual standards (very pale) I feel ripped off!

What appeared to be the manager of the premises was shouting at one of the young girls in a very unprofessional manner,which reduced her to tears. I found this very uncomfortable as it was a grown man screaming at a young girl who looked about 15 years old. I find the whole experience very disturbing

The staff are brainless and they need to learn to make a sandwich my bread was stale. Shame i won't be going again as I like to use local shops to support my area.

When I said I wanted 'Lite mayonaise' I didn't expect that to translate into no mayonaise at all! Completely bland tasting, dry bread that had been sliced multiple times in various places so all the filling fell out. Gave up and threw it away after a few mins of attempting to eat my sub as a salad. Very disappointing.

Can your staff not read? Every single order on Deliveroo you always mess something up. How does mayo somehow transfer into cover the sub in bbq sauce? Idiots

Staff was very slow Portions of cheese on nachos was very small .boxes used for nachos looked old ,scruffy and dirty . Won't go back again

I have just been in and purchased a salad box to takeaway. When I got back to my office and opened the box I could not believe how little content it had. I now understand why the girl serving me kept the box from my view. It was a box full of lettuce 2 slices of tomato and a few scrap of other stuff. Really poor quality and it seems the price has gone up as well. Last time for me, I was a regular customer until today

Just spent £20 on deliverroo. I don’t know what kind of staff they have working there but clearly useless… where do I start? I ordered 2 chicken & bacon sandwiches, both missing the bacon… both the wrong bread… one toasted and the other one wasn’t… now they won’t answer the phone and deliveroo won’t refund me either. Waste of time and money do not recommend

I do not usually review chained establishments such as Subway but this I certainly deserves it. I order my usual chicken tikka foot long on Italian herbs and cheese bread cheese and toasted with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, lots of red onion, crispy onions, salt and chilli flakes for delivery along with a Pepsi, double choc chip cookie and crisps for £9.99 plus delivery. Uber did a fantastic job at delivering the food within 15 minutes but boy, did subway mess up? Stale, untoasted bread even though I asked for it toasted, it tasted disgusting, the person I ordered with had clearly been previously toasted and reused and sent cold, they sent a sugary drink for my diabetic friend who wanted sugar free, the cookie was rock hard and stale and best of all they never answered the phone once. Visited her only a week prior to ordering and staff were disorganised, mixing subs up, no clear sign of leadership and I wouldn’t be surprised if they mess it up going forward and mess up on allergies for someone, they really are clueless.

Digusting what we seen today at Subway Chaddesden. There was a young lady serving us and we mentioned about how hot it was and asked about the Air-con, to which she agreed and then mentioned it to her manager. Next her manager pulled her to one side and sacked her 😤. Her reason being that she shouldn’t be talking to a customer 😳. She walked past us feeling totally humiliated after being sacked in front a lot of customers too. Digusting behaviour by the managers there!! She had only just started there today and was told she won’t be getting paid for the 4hours worked too. One of the most unprofessional things I’ve ever witnessed in a working environment.

Absolute joke of management. Bullies on a power trip. Sacked a young worker for talking to a customer regarding air con not on. When they enquired with manager who then sacked her for talking to a customer also saying the young Worker would not be paid for 4hrs they had done. Disgusting and will be making this very public. Nachos had no jalapeños and were cold, all 3 subs had missing cheese, one of the subs wasn't cut properly so when it was picked up it just fell apart, worse subway ever, oh and when we contacted uber eats they wouldn't do a thing.

Absolutely disgusted with this subway, my order included a meatball marinara and when it turned up it was stone cold like it had been in the fridge for a few hours the cheese had not melted and overall it was just one big disappointment I won’t be ordering from there again especially if this is how they serve their paying customers not to mention it could have caused food poisoning 😡😡😡

Went on a Sunday as closing time is 8pm got there at 18:50 and door was locked rubbish by door and staff member just shouted were shut . ,when we said its 8pm you close they walked away and laughed Won't be going back

Miserable staff that mumble and obviously cannot be arsed to be there. Would be nice if they cleaned the tables aswell.

Food is fine but staff seem depressed and don’t seem like they wanna be there at all. If you’re being paid to serve customers at least throw a smile or a thank you when passing over their complete order.. completely avoided eye contact and felt as though I was a bother to them.

Paying 20 pound for 2 sandwiches and a salad bowl so it ain't cheap an they can't even put cheese on it a few messily bits of left overs Barely anything on the menu stocked up staff are very slow/incapable of working together and are miserable ohh and probably still at school 🤣 This subway has gone down hill since it was taken over 4 years ago the new owners are money grabbers

The bread is baked to long and crumbly/dry difficult to pick up and eat. Cross contamination is a big issue also. While the staff wear gloves they don't change them often if at all and will go from cutting the bread to adding slices of meats and cheeses to it then into all the salad bits wearing the same gloves not good if you have allergies or dietary issues. Meat and salad in then thrown back into the container.

Not sure on the quality of the food as I didn’t eat here - just popped in as I’m 7 months pregnant and was dying for the toilet, I asked the lady on the counter if I could use their toilets and she was very friendly and allowed me too even though I wasn’t a customer.

I ordered online and they couldn't even do it right they do sauce with the hash browns and ask us which I put which sauce and they don't even send it and I ask for the sub to have sweet corn in and to be NOT toasted they toasted it I am utterly disappointed in them

It's not often I leave a review, but had such good service here today. The lady who served me was super efficient. I sometimes feel rushed when ordering a sub but she was patient and well organised. Plus, the sub itself was delicious - fresh and tasty. Thank you very much :)

My order came wrong and staff were no help in rectifying the order they were no help at all. Awful

Order was ready when I got there which was the only good think. Meatballs were stone cold. Nachos were soft and cold. Also there was two cookies missing from my order which I had paid for.

Been to every subway in Derby... Nottingham Road one is better than Pride Park but Allenton District centre is the best.

The place is filthy and unkempt. The food preparation was filthy and messy ,salad mixed with others. Staff rude and untrained and after one member lent over and onto my food whilst being prepared left it that never again. Place needs closing,deep cleaning and staff retrained .

Went in today after I finished work from a 5-2 had not eaten all day. It was fairly quiet but the place was clean and tidy despite a delivery order coming in. But the girl who served me was very helpful and showed great customer service and my sandwich was scrmmy.

Staff get younger each visit and unfortunately service declines. Salad is always past its best and there is little if any clean as you go practiced. Rarely a full menu on offer and never see the manager there. Prob just an earner for him/her as a franchise as blatantly no customer care is ever observed. Went today and the apparent colleague in charge obviously didnt want to be there. The lettuce being used had turned a strange colour and those placing just eat orders would of been disappointed as the hygiene standards of the work spaces were well below average. There was little in the way of hand hygiene process observed by any staff including the 'one in charge' who answered the phone and then carried on wrapping with no hand cleaning in between. She also 'didnt have time to wrap a customers food as she was apparently too busy'. I would describe her but ive never seen her before so hopefully shes from a different store and she alone is enough of a reason to never go again. About 10 yrs ago the staff were friendly and the food was great. It then closed amidst a few upset customers but promptly reopened however If it stays like this it should of remained closed.

Messy, salad looks way beyond its best, lack of staff cohesion. Rarely offer full menu. Staff are barely of legal working age and it shows in the poor service. Was decent a few yrs ago sadly not now

ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING AND AN INSULT TO SIMPLE FOOD. Never been to subway before but attended a funeral up the road and fancied a breakfast type snack. WOW the menu looked great until I saw it prepared. Bacon and Egg footlong with a coffee. Sadly the egg is a slab of precooked sh.te and the bacon chilled ham. It's then cooked! I declined and left. Subway has clearly hit new heights in processed precooked Cr.p.

Always getting better. The app is great. It's a success. I hope it gets better and better.

Ordered via Uber Eats. Subway didn't give the driver most of the order. When I called to question it the manager was incredibly rude and didn't offer to anything to rectify unless I drove down there. They confirmed they received the full order, but didn't comment on why they didn't give the full order to the driver. I called the driver and he said he questioned them about how light the order was, but they told him everything was there. Will not be ordering from Subway again due to their terrible attitude.

Well first i got a choclate chunk cookie and it didnt taste nice and the re-fill up drinks machine wasnt working because i wanted a fizzy drink but it just made a weird sound so i had to have a flat drink and the lady behing the counter said it wasnt broke and it was fine.

Love the food here! Great place to eat, the only problem is that my meal for a little bit of hair in, but I'm not sure if that was my hair or something.

Chaddesden subway recognise me now and usually know my order. Friendly and efficient. Love that they always offer to change their gloves for my veggie pattie salad.

Standard Subway sandwich shop. Exactly as you'd expect it to be, fresh made to order subs. Clean shop, polite staff, good subs, fast and efficient, customer toilet, free car park.
