I order from here often, but last few times it hasn't been great. My last order was over cooked and not really edible. Even the Prawn crackers were not nice. Tasted old. Chips tasted funny. not sure if it's not the oil they're cooked in. Disappointing as I have always really enjoyed this Chinese.

DISGUSTING FOOD ! ! ! We have ordered from here a number of times and the food has been great and I’ve left reviews saying as much . But tonight the food was unreadable. The rice hadn’t been washed so it was starchy and clumpy . Abundantly horrible

Probably the worst Chinese takeaway I’ve had. Chow Mein was soggy/overcooked and tasteless. Cold, dry chips and egg fried rice tasteless and did not seem fresh. Wouldn’t order again.

I dont usually do reviews but I am actually amazed! Soon as I placed my order I got a text saying my food was gonna be late and it added on an extra 15mins on. No biggy its Saturday night probably busy. My order turns up 30mins early than the first delivery time! Food was amazing salt and pepper chips were delicious

Good value for money, food was hot when it arrived considering the journey. Tasted and looked amazing. Only downside was the salt and pepper seasoning was too sweet and there was too much of it, the box could’ve done with a pot of sauce or two aswell. But other than that it was lush.

Don’t go here. Had food poisoning straight after my meal causing me to burn my stomach lining. Still not able to eat or drink much 2 weeks later!!

Possibly the best Chinese I have had for a LONG time! Food arrived a lot earlier than expected. Considering the distance too I am very pleased. Food arrived HOT! and portion size was spot on. I ordered the all in salt and pepper box and chow mein and was very pleased. Only recommendation, a bit less oil in the salt and pepper box as it made some of the prawn toast a bit soggy but it tasted amazing so can’t fault it at all. Will definitely be returning :)

The food was nice big portions to be fair, however the price would have been rather expensive had it not been for the discount I got. Also some parts were salty but overall we enjoyed our Tuesday treat.

Chicken smelt and tasted gone off so didn’t eat it. Didn’t enjoy any of the meal. Very disappointed

Having not ordered from here before, I was a little wary of the higher prices, but the reviews swayed me over. I'm pleased I trusted them. The food was piping hot and very tasty with big portions and plenty of freebies thrown in. In the end, it turned out that the higher price was more than worth it for the good quality and the big portion sizes. The food arrived very early, but it had been a long estimated delivery time, so I was happy with the early delivery. I will be ordering again. Good job guys.

Food was also not good. Thai curry was nothing like a Thai curry. Tasted normal Chinese.

Food from here is really nice, however we waited 2 hours for it to be delivered today. An hour later than stated. Its put me off ordering from here again. Our appetite had gone by the time it arrived and most of the food has now gone to waste.

I am so disappointed with this order as delivery took 2 hours!! When I phoned the restaurant they were not at all helpful and then once it was finally delivered it wasn’t even hot. The sweet & sour sauce was on its side in the carrier bag with the lid off and it had run all over everyone’s food and ruined it! We don’t all want it swimming in sauce and everything was a sticky mess. Worse order I’ve ever had!

Shocking service, food was almost 2 hours. Chasing it up for cut off. Just shocking service to be honest. Wouldn't even both hot wok or lucky house is better

Sad to see this takeaways ratings go down due to delivery issues. Ours came half an hour early tonight so please give them a chance, they’re clearly working on it. The food is great!

Food was nice and hot but very late. Also wasn’t clear that the two in one was together, chips were soggy with sauce. Presumed they would be separate.

Over an hour and a half to deliver chips, curry sauce and spring rolls. When they arrived they were stone cold. First and last time I’ll be ordering from here

Second time ordering, food was brilliant! Kung pao chicken was the best I’ve had! Food was a little late but we were kept updated, and even sent some free drinks. Always to be expected ordering late on a Friday so no issue at all. My new fave Chinese takeaway!

Had the food box for 19 pounds absolutely brilliant.

Rubbish. 1 hour 57 minutes from ordering to delivery. If you have too many orders to handle just don't accept them.

Ordered at 5:30pm and didn’t arrive by gone 7pm with the driver not answering and being in the wrong place. Could not find right address and all food was cold on arrival had to reheat.

They gave us the incorrect food

Really poor quality food. We ordered chips curry sauce, special chow mein, Singapore noodles. The chips tasted like they were reheated. The special chow mein, meat was fatty and just poor quality, there was no flavour and it smelt funny. Singapore noodles we didn’t enjoy either. We ordered through the website which states 30 minute delivery but we were waiting over an hour, which is usually expected with most takeaways however they shouldn’t state 30 minutes if they can’t deliver. First time ordering from here and can 100% say will not be returning.

Crispy chicken was really good, actual chicken and not just all batter. Salt & pepper munch box was super generous and good quality, just a little too much salt for my liking but still enjoyed it. Looking forward to trying other things on the menu!

Worse salt and pepper chicken I have ever had. It was so dry the chicken was stringy, the whole thing was tough and chewy. Obviously been reheated numerous times

After moving to the area this was my go too take away, but now they don’t seem to know their own menu when placing an order over the phone. The menu doesn’t match their Computer system and staff don’t seem to care when mistake are being made that will cost the customer money or the enjoyment of a meal

Lovely food and very good value

Should try the Dry Fried Beef Ho Fun (Fried beef noodle with soya source), beef is tender and authentic Cantonese style. The owner and their cook are very nice and approachable. Just tell them what you like they would make it possible (just be mindful that they know not much English). Make table reservations beforehand if you would like to dine in, as they have limited space.

Absolutely brilliant Chinese, especially for vegetarians! We have ordered from here so many times since it was took over. I would especially recommend the salt & pepper tofu, not on the menu however they are happy to make it- absolutely delish!

Quality of food is poor, ordered a chow mein and it was reheated. Smelt bad and bean shoots were totally soggy.

I have had many bad experiences here over the years, but since this was taken over recently, I decided to give it another go...I can safely say, this is by far the best Chinese I've had in a long time! The staff are friendly and the food was delicious!

Terrible meal !The duck was a lump of flour, the chow mein smelled oil rotten, and the beef was dry as a rock! Never again!

Under new ownership. No surprise the place is popular with regular Chinese families eating there now. Fresh, crunchy generous vegetables. I've had vermicelli as a personal fav for years and this is among the best. Night and day since last ownership. Authentic and worth your time. We live just opposite and have seen the huge difference.

Terrible meal. Duck was just slimey fat, no actual meat. Had 2 completely different dishes but both tasted the same. It was as though they had been covered in shop bought sweet chilli sauce. Definitely not freshly made. 2nd time we've had a bad meal. Won't be using this place again

Ordered chicken satay in sauce, chicken didn’t taste right, only had a couple of bites, I’ve been so poorly since the early hours Saturday morning, and it’s now Sunday and I’ve been on the loo with serious cramps for well over 24 hours, I hardly ate Friday so I’m putting this down to the chicken.

Ordered chicken chowmeine which contained 3 pieces of chicken. Obviously reheated. Also got charged 50p for paying with card which has been illegal for the last few years.

Messed up my order yet again and card payment over the phone takes forever last time i ordered i was on the phone for 15 min and the phone line is not that clear wont be useing again

This used to be my Mum's favourite take away. Just gave them all a call and went round to pick it up. Made her very happy. I am very fond of their won ton soup.

Do not order from this place. Absoutley disgusting. I've been ill all the next day unable to eat anything. This place needs to be investigated as something is going wrong here.

Special starter was cold n soggy, special chow mein , well the meat was dry , noodles greasy and the bbq sauce no taste. Chicken balls cold and the chips were cold n dry . Used this place for years but never again

I think I forgot how disgusting the food was In this place andi accidently ordered again , chips Old, dry, cold clearly reheated (VIAL ) thrown them, ) chicken curry swimming in Grease and oil, VIAL , chicken dry Chicken balls dry ,I had Egg fried rice dry and Old ,

Went here a few weeks ago due to new managmet, this was the worst meal I have ever has disgusting I was sick within ten minutes of trying it, avoid at all costs.

Can't get an order right!! 2 orders in the last month and 2 times missing food. Good food..... but zero organization.

Ordered 3 times from here due to our usual being closed. First time everything fine, a long time for delivery but to be expected what with lockdown etc. Second time again a very long wait for delivery 2hours plus. They got the order wrong delivered only half of what we ordered. They rectified this and the other half was delivered separately within 15 minutes. Not ideal but again due to recent circumstances we let it go. The third time has ensured we will not order from here again. Order was over 2 hours (again we're in extraordinary circumstances so can't really complain about the delay). The order was wrong again. We always order the same. They hadn't sent chips so we rang them and they wanted to charge us for the chips and a delivery charge. No apology. Really frustrating as we have been understanding! The actual food is good - they're just unreliable. They should limit how many orders they take so they can avoid being overwhelmed and making mistakes.

Ordered food from here and it was very poor tasting food, was two and half hours late! Phoned to ask where it was I heard in the back ground it's still in the kitchen. Once the food arrived it was cold and tasted dry. Then another driver arrived with the same order half a hour later 😂

Always too much onions, peppers, fills the tub to dis-sway from from the protein ridiculous ok more words but I can as some over the 12 years of using these at first they were ok but every time they added more unnecessary crap like onions and peppers

All of the meat dishes are superb, would highly recommend them! However, the chips are sub-par and I would never eat a seafood dish again.

Twice now on the last two bank holiday Sunday night there was no answer, it rang for a good 5 mins then cut off, shame as we live up the road we ordered from the village and that was ok so will keep using the village chinese

Spent over £30 on a takeaway this evening for myself husband and two children... very disappointed and concerned with the king prawn in garlic and chilli sauce which we ordered two of... probably our own fault for ordering only half an hour after opening but sure we must have been served yesterdays reheated unsold king prawns chucked in the same sauce we would have got If we would have ordered the chicken or pork. Very very chewy bland king prawns, myself and husband only managed to sample the one prawn from our meals... sure the prawns must have been reheated or straight out of a freezer into a microwave... very chewy like old leather, unappetizing and not worth the risk of food poisoning!! Very disappointed... for the price paid for takeaway for 4 could have taken family out for a meal 😡

Tried this take out twice was poor the first time but gave it another go, beyond belief how bad it was none of us enjoyed anything about it. This establishment does not do Chinese take out any favours.

my wife and i visited on the 11/07/2018. we live in spondon and decided to try this takeaway for the first time , ordered our food , as we sat and waited i must have killed 10 blue bottle flies in the window ,we should have asked for a refund because when we got the food home the first thing my wife found was a piece of crispy beef attached to a 4 inch piece of hair, at this point i should have returned the meal , the whole meal contained red food colouring and to be honest was awefull. stomach ache was the order of the night feeling sick. never again avoid this takeaway at all costs, dreadfull. .

Fantastic take away. I recommend the sweet n sour chicken balls, and the oriental inn special fried rice and chow mein! ( i dont like veggies the house specials hsve veggies but the oriental inn ones dont ) The friday night british driver is very friendly and i always tip him, the chinese guy is a miserable sod and i dont tip him! I started ordering from here after they changed owners and i gotta say its banging hot food and never late. Top tips Try the barbacue sauce its devine If on a friday or saturday ask for dan to deliver as he is much quicker!
