Papa John's Pizza in Derby

It arrived smothered in BBQ not a drizzle, I had to wipe over 1/2 of it off - it over powered the rest of the pizza :(

Friendly star who work really hard so cannot give personal touch. However pizza is amazing. Way better than competition which sounds like flominoes !

Absolutely swimming in oil and had even soaked through the box. Couldn’t eat so returned to the store. Was only offered a replacement pizza but I’d lost my appetite.

Had my papa johns order cancelled by a different store so I tried again with this one. The food came fast and was piping hot.

Called shop to find out where order was they said driver had waited 20 minutes at hotel but we don't come down CCTV and staff said otherwise. New order sent out and it was cold . Would not use this place ever again

Why would you have people on the phone and delivering your food that don't speak English? The food was terrible and it couldn't be easier to get right. Why would Papa Johns have incompetent people ruin a business that has huge potential? Very strange... NO I dont want my money back, I just want what I ordered, on time, cooked properly. How hard can that be?

ordered a bbq chicken and bacon pasidia, only got lots of bbq sauce, and 1 piece of Chicken and 1 piece of bacon.Come on Guys you must do better!

We spent £60 on pizza delivery. When the food arrived it was raw and inedible. Phoned the shop but they just hung up on me. A total waste of money. This has to be the worst and most unprofessional Papa John's restaurant I have ever used. I do know that I will never be using this restaurant again and I recommend that you do the same. Save you money and go elsewhere.

Had papadiaz and loved it with the garlic dip. Staff was patient enough to clarify and run through the menu with me. I also didn't have to wait too long for a festive season order

Made a mistake with my home delivery order and they were very kind and fixed it right away.

Absolutely rubbish service !! Waited over a 1hour 45 mins for our pizzas Tried to ring Chaddesden branch to check where our food was and the phone just rang out! Going to complain to their head office. Very poor franchise!!

Poor service no contact back nearly 2 hours waiting for food with children. Called 20 times and no answer absolutely disgusting will not be ordering again

Started using papa johns while on holiday in Dorset and preferred it to our local one we used. love there garlic dip and pizza is great

Absolutely terrible. Was told 35 minutes but was over an hour. Hardly any toppings on pizza it might as well have been a margarita. Driver had to be reminded about bottle of pop. Normally order from a different store and never had any problems there so was really disappointed by this store. Will not order from this one again.

I order pizza from here. It really tastey. I had Greek pizza. With feta cheese. Olives. Tomato. I had cheesy sticks it is tastey. Food always be warm in box.

This store scams you i was told my food would arrive in an forty minutes i waited an hour and a half i called back i was told 15 minutes its been half an hour and never arrived I've been speaking to customer support for 2 weeks and im still not getting my money back after the store lied to Deliveroo

Poor, customer service from the staff is lacking, no peppercinis (which is a Papa John's staple btw) when you ask they say they don't do them, unless you get a manager in which case they do, so clearly they just can't be bothered to put them in the box. skimpy toppings and often sides are stale and lacklustre, considering we ordered fairly regularly. We had one in Manchester and it was incredible compared to this place, could do with new management but based off of other reviews that doesn't seem to help either.

Beware of their site......60% discount does not seem to work and then when you have paid you find out you have been charged full price. when I collected my food they where not helpful saying email head office, then they gave me the wrong order! if you are going to order go direct to your local shop apparently its cheaper! bad bad bad..............

ordered a meal at shop. Takes about ten minutes to complete the order. A very nice sharing meal.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Absolutely disgusting customer service, had to wait 3 hours for delivery on a Thursday night, ordered at 7pm and didn't turn up till just gone 10pm, the restaurant was blatantly ignoring the phone also as I was waiting for over 45 minutes to find out what was taking so long and they still never answered, delivery driver stated they have gone into new management, if that's the case whoever it is wants sacking, the worst experience ordering a takeaway I've ever had!

Would not recommend, they took my money Friday , did not deliver , rang they acknowledged that I've paid and not delivered but said a manager will ring me in an hour, same response every hour , no phone call back , monday now and no money has been returned and not herd anything,

Have used this store twice now, first occasion garlic bread was slightly overcooked but they redeemed themselves on my second visit with their excellent customer service and great tasting food

Wouldnt bother. Only half the meal arrived, no dips. Poor customer service after phoning to complain. Avoid. Use Allestree instead

Average. Known for their sauce this branch seems tight with its serving. Base on our occasion was also underdone and a bit chewy. The one at allestree is alot better but we put it down to the store being newly opened. Hoping it gets better because when u have 4 more options on the same street this sadly isnt my first choice.
