Probably the subway with the least filling I've ever had. Not great value at all. And the server looked like he would rather be anywhere else but working in subway. Visited this one as theres not a lot of food establishments open on a Sunday evening when travelling but we won't be using this Subway again. Asked for a couple of hot drinks to make a meal deal but because they were closing in 30 minutes or so they has shut off the drinks machine and weren't doing hot drinks! If they open until 8 pm Sunday they should serve food and drinks until 8pm . Especially as it wasn't busy - we were the only customers so it wasn't as if they were rushed off their feet making sandwiches. Very disappointing.

on the door and online this place states they open at 07:00 on a Monday. Well I was here at 07:30 today 22/04/24 and the doors were still locked and no sign of anyone inside. I’ve had a long road trip from Wales and was looking forward to my breakfast well I left empty handed and waited 10 minutes and still no sign of it opening! Very dissapointing

On entering the store I noticed the seating area every hectic, dirty and uninviting and the limited booths taken up by staff. While ordering at lunch time I expected to wait to be served as the standard lunchtime rush. Luckily enough the service wasn’t too slow but delayed due to training new staff. I ordered a Salad bowl ( as I was extremely impressed with the few I had in Poole over the last couple weeks). I wasn’t asked if I wanted the meat warmed and had to stop the staff before she put it into the bowl cold, she seems annoyed but warmed the meat for me and I moved to the salad station. The first member of staff had put a very small handful of lettuce into the bowl before warming the meat and when I asked for lettuce I was told there is already some in there, (you would have had more in a 6inch than what was in the bowl) after asking for more lettuce I was give another very small pinch of lettuce. The remaining toppings were placed neatly over the lettuce and meat and sauce was added. On getting back to work and opening my salad bowl I realised it was just about half way full, with very little chicken and over all a very sad looking lunch and definitely not worth £5 I paid for a whole lunch, more like a side salad. Yes the staff were friendly enough but I’m definitely not impressed with the food and wouldn’t want to eat in if I went back.

Waited 2 fken hours for a sandwich and a cookie, came warm but the cookie turned into icecream for some reason… Had to ring up the establishment after an hour and a half to remind them to leave subway and deliver my late food. No apology whatsoever for the wait, very disappointed. Ordered from Burger king, giving subway a 1hr 45 min headstart, and burger king came first (burger king has a 20-45 min wait, compared to the subway, with a supposed 20 min wait on deliveroo)

Most of the options were unavailable, every item on the menu was followed with, sorry we don’t have any um, onions, would you like something else, when asked what else, it was just lettuce and lettuce not good when the prices have increased and there’s no discount for missing half the food.. Arrived seeing, New management signs everywhere, it’s only 2pm on Saturday, unless they close at 2:15, maybe change the management back! Update: Tried again on the 17th Dec, service was terrible still, missing half the filling I asked for, please give this place new management! It’s convenient and absolutely useless! Lowered original score as reflection of service since first visit! Spot the Lettuce, Onion, Pepper, Olives and Sauce in the photo.. Hint: they all went in the bin on the counter as it was being wrapped, before it was served out! Thanks! Also the place is always filthy, there are crumbs and wrappers all over, I will never eat here again!

I fully respect the young man making my sandwich it was so obvious it was his first day but the manager or the boss at the time was a knob talking to a customer eating his sandwich who I believe to have worked or still works at the subway not helping the new member of staff leading to my sandwich being under par to usual I put no blame on anyone but the manager I didn't catch his name but was tall round build seemed to have not a care in the world talking about closing early.

I can’t believe it. Left PureGym to walk back to my car, the store manager and two employees stood out the back of the subway telling me to put trousers on. Shouting it across to me. GOBSMACKED. I do not know these people nor do I want to be hurled abuse at when leaving the gym when they don’t look like they’ve seen a gym a day in their lives!!!

Firstly I was waiting to be served and the staff present didn't even acknowledge me! When she finally did she was very blunt which I found quite rude... Ordered my sandwich and asked for it to be heated meanwhile a number of other customers arrived and ordered, My food was left on the counter for 5 minutes possibly more while I waited for someone to come to the salad section as no one was there! (Atleast another two members of staff doing absolutely nothing) When I did get my meal it was stone cold. Very upsetting visit! Won't be eating here again.

Ordered from Just eat, food got delivered elsewhere and when I called to let them know they asked to call me back in a minute which they never did, eventually our food arrived and it was stone cold and missing items. No one answers the phone and food quality was terrible. Very disappointed with this subway especially as the others in Yeovil usually are quite good. Do not go to this one!

I think that this has got to be the worst subway I have visited. As soon as you walk through the door the tables are filthy and food all over the floor. The food was not bad, nobody ever moans at an overfilled sandwich but this was extreme and waaay to much sauce so picked at it which was a shame. 2 boiling hot coffees given to me with no lid and then spilt was not ideal. There was no napkins to clean this up either. The place was very busy and understaffed. All the servers were very young and need some support in their.

The problem about having no fluent English speaking staff is that it's hard to order what you want and you have to settle for what you can get. This was an awkward horrible experience, plus the drinks machine doesn't work and there are no napkins. Avoid this place buying a sandwich shouldn't be so bloody tough.

On a busy Saturday, only 2 staff members were on shift. Queue was around 45 minutes, place was unclean. I wanted a subway sandwich, I got to the till and saw cross contamination such as the same gloves worn to touch meat, phones, till, salad, bread, tablets. I didn’t have the sandwich due to my dietary preference. They didn’t have food in stock, then I was going to get cookies but their were flies on them. I understand it was understaffed but the standards were poor, the manager should have been better prepared.

Wouldn't normally complain about a Subway, as I feel like you know what you're getting but have honestly had the worst one of my life at this branch. The staff are so slow, waiting times are well over 25 minutes and they literally throw the subs together, don't toast the subs properly so they're basically chilled and are incapable of cutting bread so it just falls apart when you eat it. I feel like it takes a lot to complain about a Subway, but just go to the one in town, this one really is not worth the (inevitable) wait.

It's just about ok, I remember being able to get a sandwich from subway in a few minutes, now there's always a queue, popularity or disinterested staff? I believe the latter, there's also significant effort to upsell, do you want a drink, do you want crisps, do you want a cookie? No, I just want a sandwich, I'd order those things if I wanted them. It must be tiresome having to continually ask people the same question and receive the same answer over and over, which possibly explains the disinterest the staff exude.

Asked for 2 different subs, 1 nacho chicken 6" and a teriyaki 12". Women started my order then disappeared to the till to serve yet was a man who was there doing nothing. The man came back and asked what I wanted and I explained had to repeat myself 4 times and did not understand me. The nacho chicken they were going to put in a box rather than a sub and my teriyaki chicken never had any sauce just plain chicken, I asked 3 times for normal cheese with added grated and again he just put double grated. The salad I asked for had to repeat several times whilst pointing put and portion size was pathetic untill I asked for more. Yes I used to work at subway so I know how things should been done etc. Then my sub wasn't cut in half and the salad was sitting on top on the sub rather than in also he took out the speed oven with 22 seconds left to cook so the cheese wasnt even melted neither toasted the sub. Worse experience ever in this shop, nobody spoke to me other than the lady at the till. Serouisly need someone who knows how to make a sub in there for sure and the speed of the staff are ridiculously slow.

Ordered couple footlong sandwiches. Both were crushed, just like if someone has sat on it. Couple 6inches were in boxes and other footlong was in paper. Out of my sandwich I got a different bread, I got mayo instead of bbq sauce, I got lots of olives that I didn’t ask for as I actually don’t like olives and missing jalapeños. So basically a different sandwich altogether. We have ordered there before and never had any problems so just not sure what happened this time. Very disappointing 😕

My partner and I were hungry, I wished we'd gone elsewhere, ordered our food was very hungry so was looking forward to eating everything we got, 2 6-inch subs, a wrap, some nachos, cookies and hashbrowns, both subs and wrap were missing the cheese and lukewarm but it was okay, wrap was good but 5 of the cookies were missing, my partner went back in and the staff were very rude, all nachos were stuck to the paper and we couldnt scrape the paper off so was a waste. Safe to say never going back to this subway again.

Store process is a mess. Guys behind the counter trying to serve walk in customers and satisfy call in orders at the same time leaving you to be ignored at the counter for quite a while, I went in there for fast food and didn't get it. I haven't been in a subway for ages and I think it may be ages before I return.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Staff seem like they're just there for a social gathering messing around. Threw salad onto the sub knocked over the sauce bottle, which then spilled into the other ingredients. Staff member just laughed and said "sod it". I was disappointed with the quantity of filling ! I had two smears of tuna mayonnaise quite a lot of lettuce two bits of cucumber and one piece of tomato and I had to ask for some extra red onion. Having paid £8 for two rolls it didn't represent good value for money. Sorry won't be visiting you again. Also I'm glad I didn't have to stand outside in the rain waiting for my turn, like some !!!!!

I love subway in general and wont stop going there, as the one in Shepton Mallet is amazing, but this one is poor. The staff are so rude! I've been here several times, each time as poor as the last but being vegan, I don't have a lot of choice in food/take away food. Staff are rude, they tut when you ask for vegan cheese. One of them was incredibly rude and snapped at the lady I support, who has learning disabilities, she was simply asking a member of staff to repeat themselves. When they had reluctantly repeated themselves, they had made their customer feel upset and small, they then proceeded to slam the salad pot on the side and tutted (I've never felt like leaving poor feedback till now, it's happened one to many times, there's no excuse for such poor service). They are not just rude, there is no time or attention that goes into there food either, it's simply just thrown in a sub or roll, I understand that they are busy but there is a certain standard that other subways have always upheld and this is the only one where I have had a bad experience, repeatedly. I'm hoping the one above Tesco's will survive after covid because I will not step foot inside this one if it does. I expect more from Subway and I know it is mostly just the staff team that is letting this store down, as the one above Tesco's in town, used to be amazing. They argue with each other in front of customers, especially the guy who does the delivery ordered he is rude and I've seen him twice now, shout at the staff that work in there and ask them to hurry up. Its very poor and I feel I need to let everyone know, simply because I don't want someone leaving the store in these vulnerable times, feeling like they've done something wrong. This store needs better management! VERY DISSAPOINTED is an understatement!

My grandson loves the milkshakes.. yet to get one after so so so many attempts. Give up!!!!!! Staff are rude and don’t worry about customers relations, won’t bother anymore as obviously don’t need the custom.

very very busy booking is advised thankfully they managed to squeeze us in seated within approx 20 mins on a very busy Saturday evening so many thanks Laura for that and the staff were so rushed off their feet and a long wait on food, had some issues which were dealt with immediately by josh and sarah so many thanks for that. we will be back especially when 30% vouchers make it better with the price
